Las Margaritas Bar & Grill

We stopped by Las Margaritas during a road trip through California for a light meal and to check out their happy hour. The restaurant was clean, and the female staff member who helped us was friendly and cheerful. At first, we were given the regular menu without happy hour listed, but when we asked, she quickly brought us the happy hour menu. Happy hour runs Tuesday–Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. I ordered a Mojito, and watching it being made was amusing—the bartender shook the cocktail shaker very slowly. It wasn’t the usual high-energy bar style, but it added a relaxed, casual charm. For food, I had two asada street tacos, which were simple, tasty, and easy to enjoy. My husband ordered the Chile Relleno, which was very cheesy and a bit rich, but likely great for cheese lovers. Overall, good service, a comfortable atmosphere, and a solid spot for happy hour or a quick stop during a road trip.

We love this place! Janeth makes THE BEST cocktails! 😋 Skinny & classic margaritas are our go-to, but the Mezcalita special might be our new fave! Service is always great, the food is delicious, and the prices don’t break the bank! Highly recommend!!

Ok, so, yes, it was Friday night and it was busy, but we didn't have to wait long. However, it was super noisy until people started to clear out, then you could actually hold a conversation without feeling like you were yelling. Now, on to the food and service. Service was good, average more like it. Only checked on us once, which is fine I suppose, as most of us don't particularly like being interrupted with a mouth full of food anyway. Now the food. The salsa we got with the chips was more like soup, very weird. We had to order a side of Pico de Gallo to dump in there just to get some consistency, then, it was really good. The Birria Tacos had great flavor, but I was super sad that the Chile Relleno was not better because they are my favorite. The margarita was so strong I almost could not drink it. I choked down about a quarter of it, but that's all I could muster. Overall, it was decent.

This place serves a lovely range of legitimate Mexican dishes at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the mole enchiladas (photo) and chicken tacos, along with a couple of margaritas. The bar area has a pleasant, artistic ambience, and the whole place is decorated nicely. The service was good. They have beers and mixed drinks but no wine.

Our First time at this little hidden gem. Located in a small strip mall, across the street from the South Medford Walmart. Plenty of parking, easy in and out. The Restaurant wasn't to busy. Friendly staff. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. I love the fact the dinning/seating areas are Hospitable for ADA, children, and the plus size community. The wait staff are great, We gave 4 stars on the service due to they are still learning the Etiquette of check back times on their tables. (We all have had to start and learn something new, so please have alittle more Patients and understanding for them in that area. :) please) THE FOOD AND MARGARITAS WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Very generous on portions.(We had leftovers) Love the Fresh picadillo served on the lettuce leaf. Margaritas are deliciously strong & Satisfying! (Yeah buddy!! Lol) List of items we tried. Street Corn.(cob) 3 item combo: chile relleno, cheese enchilada, chicken burrito. Vegetable burrito. (must try) Trio De Sopes: 1 asada(favorite) , 2 chicken. Burrito Dos Compadres. (Flavorful & filling) Fried ice-cream.(gotta try it w/ cinnamon & sugar on it) Churros w/ carmel. Elevated Margarita. Pinapple Margarita. w/ 1/2 salt/ Tajin rim Classic Margarita. Tajin rim. Bottom line: THIS IS OUR NEW GO TO FOR AMAZING MARGARITA'S & MEXICAN FOOD!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! THANK YOU!

Hello my peeps.... First off, the I side was not what I expected. Very small and the decor was not set up to be Mexican restaurant style of the usual. Next, I ordered a taco salad that had little to no lettuce 😯. Plenty of food though. The menu was different except everything was either 16 or 18 dollars. Regardless of the meats or no meats. Not my place to return to for Hispanic food or drinks. However, other reviews show a different opinion. My opinion was based off of my whole group that dined that night... Cumulative.

Had a Cadillac Margarita, very good but strong. Dinner was quick service and friendly staff. Would return when pass through the area again.

We are in town passing by . Missed our Mexican food . This has been one of the best Mexican foods my husband and I have had . We ordered the Molcajete and a Margarita ( the one with patron at $14 ) and it was absolutely delicious! Complimentary chips and salsa on point ! Margarita was strong and delicious. Molcajete which came with meat, chicken , chorizo , green onions , shrimp wrapped in bacon in the most delicious flavorful sauce ! My husband is Mexican and he approved and let me tell you , he will not eat at any Mexican food restaurant. It needs to be authentic! Service and staff was great !

A plain little restaurant with great food. Our enchiladas and burritos were filled with all meat with mild sauces. There were also generous portions of rice and refried beans. Service was quick and efficient.

We did take out. The veggies in the burrito bowl had a great flavor to them. I would recommend the red rice...the cilantro rice didn't have much taste but thinking they maybe accidentally gave me regular rice instead? Black beans were good but would recommend the refried beans instead, yum! Steak and fajita veggies would be a little better if there was some grill char to it - kind of seemed if it were steamed cooked instead. But overall great food at a good value! The outside of the restaurant looks kind of hole-in-the walk at a strip mall, but inside is nice. Staff are friendly too.

It was a great experience! The pork tamale was yummy and the tacos tasted fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed TWO margaritas because they were so good. Overall good food at reasonable prices- well done!

Stopped by here for dinner. Service was good as well as the food! I had the chicken tacos with a side of rice and beans. The food was pretty flavorful. Would come back while we're in the area! Happy eating!

Best margaritas, best value and best Mexican food in Medford. No lousy tequila and corn syrup drenched big drinks--if you appreciate quality over quantity this is the place. Service is great--real silverware, water and napkins--like a real restaurant--not Taco Bell dine in.

I've lost count on how many times I've enjoyed this place! Has turned into my must visit spot to indulge when I'm in the area. Stopped in tonight & ordered to go- $19 for a 3 item combo that included beans, rice, salad & chips/salsa. I enjoyed chile relleño, pastor tacos, and a chicken enchilada. Also, enjoyed a delicious Paloma while i waited. Great service at the bar! Was greeted as I entered and left. Thank you!

Did not look like much in the afternoon sun, but was quite nice and inviting inside. They did seem quite understaffed as the restaurant was only half full but they struggled to even take orders. The waitress was also the bartender and had far too much to do - though no fault of hers. I asked for a patron margarita, blended w/o salt and she said yes we have a blender - I said ok. When it came it was really not drinkable, huge chunks of ice mixed throughout instead of a smooth blend. The chunks of ice floating on the top prevented one from being able to drink the liquid underneath. All the other drinks were excellent. Two of us got the three taco plate - excellent! And the Elote was really good. Great place!

Service provided by Janice and Ulysses was outstanding. They were courteous, friendly, and professional. The ambiance was relaxing and extremely comfortable. The food was delicious, well prepared, and attractively presented. I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Having dinner here is as an extremely pleasant experience.

We visited this place yet again on our way home from vacation down to San Diego. Everything was great again and the Cadillac margaritas or the bomb. Highly highly recommend this place and we had our same waitress as we did last year and she was awesome.

We were visiting family in the area and stayed at the hotel across the street and decided to stop in for a margarita and lunch. When we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, we were greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. As we sat down, our waiter brought our chips, salsa, and water. We were pleasantly surprised it was happy hour on a Friday at 1pm. Off the happy hour menu we ordered the 2 street tacos and house Margarita. And from the regular menu the chicken quesadilla. From the regular menu we had the chicken quesadilla and elevated Margarita. Everything was excellent and we will definitely be back next time we're in town.

Outstanding food and service. Plain on the outside but everything was great, the margaritas, tacos, flautas, and roasted chile was to die for. As an out of town first timer, I would go back!

Food, drinks and staff were amazing. Taco plate the meat is well seasoned and the hot sauce is really good. The Molcajete plate is good the sauce was the the best definitely shareable

This place is really good! We were staying in a hotel nearby for work and saw this had good reviews on Yelp, so we decided to try and I'm glad we did! Margaritas were great. We got different dishes but all thought that what we each had was great.

The food quality was awesome! The lunch crowd was small, so easy to get good service. Had to ask the chef how he cooked the whole jalapeño- so good. The environment was super clean and cute.

The margaritas were enjoyable, the enchiladas were good, the salsa was just very watered down and could hardly sit on a chip, with not a strong flavor. The space was nice, the service was kind but fairly slow.

The fish tacos were lightly breaded and fresh! They could have a little more Baja sauce, but they were good. The wait staff was amazing!!! I was staying at the hotel next to this location and wanted to go back the next day.

From recommendation of hotel (then yelp check) we walked over for dinner after traveling from SoCal. Atmosphere is well done. We were greeted by multiple staff behind the amazing bar and promptly seated. Food was great-Baja fish tacos hubby said best ever! Drinks were fantastic! We will most certainly be back next road trip.

We walked from our hotel to this great little restaurant. I ordered a tortilla soup after the advertised green posola was out. My husband got a burrito bowl. They were both delicious! The waitress told us we were 50% off on entrees since we were at the neighboring Marriott hotel. We were there for 1 hour. There was a shift change and the new waiter did not follow through and charged us full price. He stated he did not know how to reformat the ticket and so our order was full price! Be ware!

The food is always great. We have been there multiple times and try something different each time and everything we have ordered has been delicious.

This is by far the best Mexican food in Medford and where we end up 7/10 times when we eat out. We always recommend it to others. The staff is great and always welcoming. I'm a fan of the taco bowl with vegetarian chorizo, their tacos, and my wife gets her usual cheese enchiladas. It can be a little crowed at times as it's a smaller restaurant but we've never had to wait for a seat.

Great service and food. Quick stop after our flight got in. My husband had the mango habanero margarita which was delicious. Would definitely be back of stop in area again.

After reviewing the Yelp reviews we decided to give it a try. I'm guessing it's a family run restaurant. One thing thats disturbing is when dining out is when they have staff in the dining area hanging out. When their child makes gagging noises while we are sitting down ordering. We ordered the Sampler and that was the only good thing. The ground meat on the taco salad had no seasoning tasted like Taco Bell meat actually Taco Bell meat has more taste. I wouldn't recommend it if you know good Mexican food. Our waitress was great she was very polite.

Excellent queso and happy hour! Love the chile relleno and the classic margarita! Can't wait to bring my hubby here! The only complaint is the salsa is a bit thin (but tasty) and most of it ends up on the table before it gets in my belly. Other than that, it's delicious and friendly wait staff, too!

This place was hard to find but worth it! Great food, huge portions, great service! Iced tea was great, my enchiladas were fabulous!

This little hole in the wall restaurant is fantastic. The pre-dinner chips are crispy and brought out promptly. I had the quesabirria pizza. It is cooked perfectly and is so juicy. If you are in town you definitely need to check this place out!

Im giving only four stars because the restaurant needs a good cleaning. The walls and floors were very dirty and we did tell the staff. The food however was absolutely amazing! I would give the food five stars and the margaritas were the bomb. The staff was great and friendly and very attentive. We will be going back for sure!

First off the service was THE BEST I've had in a while. There were two servers taking care of 12 tables and the bar guests. Making all of the drinks and serving the entire place and they did not miss a beat. They were epic! The food was so good. The ceviche, tacos, soup, burrito, and dips were all amazing. We were so impressed! My husband and I worked at a popular taco place back home and I have not been to a place quite like it until now. Thanks so much.

This place is a gluten free, vegetarians taco dream. Their taco plate is the way to go. You have your choice of 3 street tacos from a large list of toppings. I chose beans, veggies & their vegetarian chorizo. So delicious! I would honestly order a bowl of their veggies all by themselves. Tacos come with sautéed onions & your choice of salsa. The mild green is still pretty spicy so beware. I love the atmosphere inside. It's cozy & nicely decorated. The staff was wonderful. Can't wait to go back & try their margaritas!

The food was spot on perfect! We had a large group which they easily accommodated. We loved the salsas and tried aalmost every taco they offer. The very friendly owner Andres was there greeting new and return customers. We will soon be considered regulars even though we live a few hours away!

Came here for Valentine's Day and loved it but just paid $18 for a burrito that was 90 percent rice. Then the waiter weirdly rolled his eyes at me as I was leaving. Wildly mixed experiences.

Small out of the way Mexican restaurant with quite possibly the best Mole Enchiladas I've ever had! So good! Their Margaritas will not disappoint either Do yourself a favor and give them a try! Support local business

Was out of town with my daughter for a tournament weekend and decided to try it out. I'm big on Mexican food and grew up in PHX. Food was good but I was a little shocked at the sauce on the wet burrito that was a bit on the spicy side. I've never had a wet burrito with a spicy sauce. Also didn't have cheese on top which is a signature of a wet burrito as far as my experiences. Typically Mexican food tends to be on the less spicy side unless you opt to add salsa's etc. or otherwise noted but this was not the case here. I was okay with it, unfortunately the same sauce was put on top of my daughter's chimichanga and made it intolerable for her to eat/enjoy. Super bummed because she loves Mexican food too but can't tolerate the spice. We ordered Flan to go and it was quite different than what we've had at other places as well but at least it was still tasty. Would recommend going but be aware of spiciness in food that you may not have asked for. Ask first if any questions. I'm wondering if this just happened to be a one time thing that sauce got over spiced when looking at other reviews.

Stopped in here on Halloween, They had the brand rum my wife drinks so they were able to make her drink of choice. We ordered two kinds of enchiladas and they were both very good, the rice and beans were also very good. Chips and salsa were served at no charge. Chips were typical but we really liked the salsa. The girls working there were very polite and checked on us several times. We will be back on our next trip.

This was some of the best food I've had around Medford! My husband and I ordered the birria pizza with an order of carne asada fries. We didn't even get to touch the fries the pizza was completely filling and so good! The server was really nice and the prices were not bad at all. 10/10 will be going here again.

The food was okay. Service was fine. Not the best place, but it wasn't too terrible. Ambience is plain.

Good food. Friendly staff. Child friendly. Clean restrooms. Not too crowded. Fast service. Good chips. Salsa was more watery than I like but was good. They had some TVs on playing sports which wasn't ideal but was fine considering it's also a bar. Would happily go again if driving through Medford on I5.

Favorite Mexican restaurant in Southern Oregon! Staff is amazing and food is great. Happy hour is the best.

Food: tacos were authentic and delicious Salsa: a bit watery, but flavorful Chips: no too salty and not too thin. Delicious Drinks: they table next to me ordered a whiskey sour and it looked like a good one done right Service: they were busy, so somewhat inattentive. Overall decent Small place, but a definite go to place

So far, my favorite Mexican food in Southern Oregon. Chili Colorado, Mole, crispy tacos, all at the highest levels. You can often judge a place by its salsa, and there's is excellent. The only complaint I might voice is their chips. I believe you could stand to switch oils to something different. Beef tallow would be might top choice but I understand public perception and why thats not popular at restaurants. But it will be some day!

We'll just keep the 5 stars going with our visit this weekend. Holy cow!! The food is great from the street corn, to the tacos, churros and the Michelada's!!! Don't judge them by the outside!!
