Las Margaritas

My family enjoyed my brothers birthday and the food was delicious! My steak was cooked to perfection! Guacamole was made fresh right in front of us! The veggies in the salad were fresh! Drinks looked delicious!

The table was a little too small for all our food and drinks. But the drinks are absolutely delicious worth the money food was very good tasty. I felt like the food was rushed and came out too fast. Appetizers should come first when order with your drinks then your lunch or dinner not everything all at once. Other than that it's a really good restaurant to just chill have a good time with friends and family

I'm a solo dater! The kitchen has no reason to get my food messed up.... not to mention I'm a pescatarian (only seafood) which brings me to the reason I was so disappointed with Las Margaritas, the menu lead me to believe my shrimp would be sautéed in garlic butter yet when my food arrived it was horrible as they were cooked in PLAIN WATER. I was just released from the hospital and hungry so unfortunately ate until the waiter came back.

The food here is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. It's also an amazing value for quantity and quality. The service is speedy as well. I have no complaints at all. I'm unable to speak on the actual margaritas, but they have many many flavors if you do drink alcohol 🤷🏾‍♀️

My favorite Mexican place — I’ve never had any problems before, but yesterday I ordered shrimp fajitas to go and paid $30 for it. Is that a joke?

It's always nice to visit here. The food is good, the service is great, and the prices are always right. Every time I visit, I make sure I get a house margarita, and every item on the menu is a good pick. If you're in the mood for Mexican food, this is the place. You will not be disappointed.

Ordered the Queso Fundido as a starter and the main dish was the Molcajete. The food was excellent. The Molcajete was loaded with meat so it was well worth the price. Chicken, Ribeye, chorizo, and shrimp plus the veggies. Super good. There is plenty of parking so no worries there. I would definitely put this on your list of Mexican restaurants in the area.

Went on a weekday evening so wasn’t terribly busy. Great drinks. Food was good. I wasn’t a fan of the rice but everything else was good. Chicken, salad and shrimp Service was great. I’d definitely recommend. Bathroom was clean. Waiter spoke both Spanish and English.

This is the 1st time I'm writing a review without pictures which should speak volumes. I treated my employees to lunch for doing a great job during a stressful time. I heard about the food and took advantage of the lunch special they have from 11 am - 3 pm. Customer Service - A+A+A+A+A Quality of the food - A+A+A+A+A+ Quantity of food for the price - A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A Taste - A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A The 1st time tasting queso cheese dip with chorizo and real crab meat. You heard what I said, real crab meat. It was so good, you can eat the chorizo queso did with the crab neat or without. Either way, it's delicioso . When picking up the food, the atmosphere was so cool. I have to go back there after work because I heard the drinks..........just make sure you're not the driver...lol I highly recommend!

The national chains have infinitely better tasting food. Cleanliness is seriously lacking. We even got sick once. Lots of food for the money but bland tasting. Long waits. Very polite service. Loud interior. I have no clue about why this joint has so many good reviews. The food is what counts and it is almost flavorless.

*Queue "One Margarita" * Y'all y'all y'all. Hear me out. This place isn't the greatest food, it's far from perfect. What it is though is exactly what I expected from a TexMex place. This place is in an awkward spot in the plaza. The paintings on the wall are kinda great. It also looks like the one by my table was painted like two years ago. I don't know why I find that great but I love it. We were given a table super quick. The wait staff was super nice. Very friendly. The menu is pretty large so it can be hard to figure out what to get. I started with a Paloma. The chips were crisp, and the salsa was loose. This is perfect for what I was hoping for. I ordered the queso fundido. I don't think it was remotely close but it was damn good. I got the deluxe plate or something close to that name. If had everything. Chile rilleno, enchilada, tamal, taco, beans rice, and a tostada. There was a massive portion of rice and beans. These are the rice and beans I remember at the TM places of my childhood. The tab wasn't too bad for me ordering quite a bit and the largest entree possible. Let's get one final thing straight again. This is not perfect food. This is what I wanted when I saw a TexMex spot in a strip mall. "Two margaritas"

I live in Phoenix, and honestly they have amazing Mexican food in there. When I came here I wasn't sure how the food was going to measure up. Listen when I tell you this food was amazing !!!!!!! Everything was so well seasoned , fresh and authentic! I had the Texicana Fajitas which included steak, chicken, & shrimp with a side of beans and rice, pico de gallo, sour cream and tortillas. My daughters ordered the carne asade tacos, custom burrito bowl , & enchiladas. All of the portion sizes were great !! We all took home more than half of our food. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas and I thought it was going to be watered down... I could not have been more wrong. It was delicious and I could feel a nice buzz after a couple of sips. The service was so good! From the host to the servers we were greeted warmly and treated well. The inside felt warm and had a family atmosphere!

Good food and awesome for a date night! The servers are very friendly and the pricing is essentially reasonable!

Met up with my Work Bestie yesterday as a late birthday celebration for her. She loves taco Tuesday and she recommended this restaurant. Now I see why! Amazing, enjoyable and delicious food. The service was on point and the atmosphere was festive. Definitely a great after work meet up, date night and family restaurant. Will definitely visit again, again and again!

My group and I have been going to Las Margaritas for years! If you're looking for some good Mexican food and drinks, this is the place. The waiters are patient and are happy to explain the menu to you. My group really enjoys the margaritas (of course), beef quesadillas and the carnitas.

When I tell you I used to come here ALL the time, I'm not kidding. I used to go to the location they had before this one....that's making sound really old lol Haven't been here in a minute and I'm so glad it was just as good as it always has been! I got my favorite chicken quesadilla. Of course we started with chips and cheese dip! They do provide the tables with complementary chips and salsa which is always good!

I usually get tacos on Tuesdays and today, October 1 meet barely had any seasoning. Onions was not caramelized like they usually are. I basically had a plain taco gotta do better.

We were looking for a good Happy near Bensalem and stumbled upon this place. They do not have HH, but their regular prices beat everyone else's HH menus. The 32oz margarita was well worth the money and for a $5 quesadilla, there was A LOT of meat packed into the tortilla. The system for reserving seats is not the best, but we didn't end up waiting as long as they told us we would. All in all, you get more than what you pay for here and it's a nice cost effective option to have in the area.

The fam sought something new. We'd been going to a nearby diner, but we decided to branch out again because most of our family loves Mexican food. A quick check of the menu let us know that they had chicken fingers and fries for our smallest child who never eats much- crazy how that's a standard for her and us but ok. We were seated promptly after arriving and someone came and brought us warm chips and salsa. Not long after, the server came and offered us drinks. Excuse me, but this spot has margaritas in 4 sizes- small, medium, large, and pitchers. I appreciated that. Hubs and I got medium margaritas that came in the same goblets as the Friendly's Jim Dandy sundae. They made those drinks pretty quick too. We ordered food. It was amazing and we were happy with the quality and quantity of the food. This space is interesting and beautiful. It's made to feel like a restaurant on the streets of Mexico. Its walls are covered in interesting murals and when you look up, it feels like there are houses around you because of the faux (or maybe real) roofs that are surrounding. The lights have uniquely painted glass covers that contribute to the very faraway feeling of Las Margaritas. I hope you go try it out. There were all kinds of groups here and it felt like families as well as couples would enjoy their time here.

The food is very good. The atmosphere and amenities are excellent. The service is pretty much so OK can be very quick at times and other times not so quick. The servers are always ready to give you any changes or a special orders. They're really good at that.

Came here after work with my girlfriend which she's been a few times before but my 1st. Got seated right away and attended to quickly with drink order, chips & salsa. Order 2 strawberry Margs 16oz and they tasted pretty sweet and not strong at all with alcohol. Also ordered a Pina Colada and that was tasty too but didn't seem much alcohol at all. Girlfriend ordered the taco salad and I got the steak quesadilla. Her salad was very good which I had half and my quesadilla was good but should come with sour cream or salsa... something for dippings.

It used to be a great place to eat and drink but has really gone downhill. You can't get a lime in your margarita without begging or offering your first born. You order queso fundido and get regular queso 4 out of 5 times. Most times it's been runny. I used to love going and hanging out at the bar but the service is lousy, the bartenders aren't great and the food has become mediocre. Giving 2 stars only because of its past. I won't be giving them my time or money any longer.

Was in the mood for some good Mexican food and I wasn't disappointed. Was seated immediately and server greeted us not to long afterwards and took our drink and food order. It appeared to be packed inside, even the bar area was full. Disney wait too long for our meals and they have flavor and decent portion sizes for us. Drinks were ok, a bit watery.

One of my favorites places in the city to visit. The waitstaff is fast and efficient. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. Every time I visit I have a great time.

The place where it is is under construction but that didn't deter me. I ordered take out. Pork tacos meal. It came with for tacos along with beans but I opted out for rice. Also asked for extra cilantro which they gave me plenty!!!! Plentiful pork for the tacos. Fresh made soft taco corn shells. Fluffy seasoned rice Home made tortilla chips and salsa as well. For the price and what I got was right on point. If i lived in the area I would def be back!!

I have order often from here and love the food. Today I was disappointed in the service. One order before 3pm for lunch and paid dinner prices for lunch portions. Also the chicken in the burritos was tough and hard to chew. The taste was bland which surprised me.

5 stars for great food, great drinks, great service and great consistency!! This is both my husband and my absolute favorite place to eat in the city. Hands down. We have came here tons of times over the past 3 years and we will keep coming back. Every single time our food is amazing, margaritas are perfect, and service is on point. It's also extremely clean inside! We've ordered takeout from here a handful of times and that was just as good as if we were dinning in. We've tried a handful of other similar style restaurants and we keep saying "we should've just went to las margaritas" simply because it's the best of the best.

I've been going to this place for years. It's a staple off the Boulevard. Mostly folks from the neighborhood go here for cheap drinks and cheap food. The food quality is so-so; you get what you pay for -- greasy and everything smothered in cheese. I continue coming here, because it's comforting, and it's the same price as fast food. My recommendation is to come here for lunch, because there's a lot of good deals for lunch and portions are huge. You can't go wrong here. Plus, the staff are very friendly and are quick to refill your drinks and the chips and salsa. If you're looking for top notch Mexican food, I would look elsewhere. If you're looking for a quick place to grab a bite with a bunch of friends and big margaritas, then I recommend this place!

I always have a amazing time! My food is always good, fresh and on point no complaints! And the Margaritas are to die for! The waiters and waitresses are so polite and very attentive to the customers! Even the host is very polite Overall great experience every time I go!

If you want authentic fresh Mexican food with great drinks, you need to try Las Margaritas out. It was very busy on a Saturday night, we went around 8:30 and had to wait 30 minutes (for a table of 2) before getting a seat so I would recommend a reservation. After getting seated, our waiter who is fluent in Spanish and English greeted us and gave us our menus along with chip and salsa. I ordered the strawberry mango margarita and my partner kiwi margarita. The small size is 12 oz and the medium is 16oz with a price difference of only $2. We got the medium of course. The drinks were good (they didn't cheap out on alcohol) I ordered the Texanas fajitas and steak quesadillas which was so yummy and we needed to go boxes for our leftovers! The walls had painted murals and nice lighting which made it every welcoming and comforting. To end this review, food portions were big and the flavors was divine. My partner was impressed and said we are coming back for more

I went to this place with my friends. I definitely like their margaritas and their food. Their food was okay and price was okay too. Took some pictures of the food and the drink. Drink came in a big glass. I like the atmosphere. The service was good too.

If I could I would certainly do 4.5 stars, the restaurant provides exactly what you need. Good AUTHENTIC Mexican food, reasonable drinks and a family feel/ambiance. Service was consistent and food came out within 20 minutes of ordering. I ordered the salad taco and ate half of it because it was so filling, only appetizer I had were some of the nachos. My cousin ordered the steak tacos and her boyfriend ordered the steak a la margarita. Pictures attached!

They have a large menu to choose from, but its very limited if you order online for delivery. It's often busy for dinners and on the weekends as well. The service is always great for me. No matter what I order I love to have rice and beans on the side. I used to like ordering the steak jumbo quesadilla but their steak is a hit or miss with how well its cooked. Sometimes its overcooked to the point where I have to chew for too long. Now I usually just get chicken filled items. The portions are plenty and often leave you with leftovers for a second meal.

Never disappointed when I go here. Service is great, food is delicious, margaritas are yummy, and probably one of the best Mexican places I've ever had wings at.

Nice little spot to grab some authentic Mexican eats and good drinks. This place is pretty popular to the locals so if your thing is avoiding the crowd come during the week when it's less people. The staff was nice and the drinks came out quickly. Only had drinks, but would come back for food as every plate that came out the kitchen looked and smelled so good-- No complaints!

Food is the best food-- like my favorite restaurant. Service is great, and ambiance is also nice. Overall, 11/10

Initially I was not sure what to think about this place. Usually you can tell a Mexican restaurant is gonna be good when theres murals all over the walls and a simple menu, but the prices threw me off. At first I thought it was way too overpriced but when the food came I realized it's just because of how BIG the serving is. Cannot complain about a $10 margarita that is this huge. Everything tasted great though and the staff were absolutely lovely!

Delicious food. Large portions and great value. Excellent service. I live in California now and always look forward to coming back to Las Margaritas when I return home for a visit.

My fiance and I come here every so often. My go to meal is the San Jose Special. We usually get a side of queso for the complimentary chips and salsa. The margaritas are delicious. I normally get mango margarita. It can get pretty loud in the restaurant so don't plan on coming here for a quiet meal. It's not a bad thing though. The crowd can be pretty lively. The staff is quick and checks on patrons frequently. I couldn't finish my dinner tonight so I took it home. I am so happy I will get to enjoy again for lunch tomorrow!

I use to love this place but now I will say NEVER AGAIN! So disappointed with the service instead of apologizing for the constant mess up, confusion & neglect the bartender decided to overcharge us for 2 water downed margaritas ‍ If I could post this & give them ZERO stars I would..

Went there on a Sat night. No wait...but was crowded. Ambiance was pretty good...we Sat in the bar area, TVs showing sports. Music and noise wasn't too bad. Service was good (took a long time to get a beer from the bar however). Salsa was good. Guac was "okay" but my real issue was the steak in the steak burrito was tough, fatty, and full of gristle. Save yourself that disappointment and get something with chicken. My wife had the chicken quesadilla...and it was really good. We will probably come back and give it a 2nd chance. There is another Mexican place close by somif they don't work out...there is another choice.

This place is one of my Favorite restaurants! I get the same dish every time I come (fajitas). Its so filling I always have some to take home. The salsa and chips that we get once seated is great as well. Their guacamole is unbelievable! I can literally eat their guacamole rice and beans and be satisfied!! I would definitely recommend this place! I usually call ahead and ordered takeout which doesn't take them long to prepare. Get a margarita their good!!

I have been coming here from day one, always a great experience, but the bar is ruining it all with obnoxious ignorant loud people that don't care about the other side of the restaurant, you can see the expression of the people dining look of worried. My suggestion is to make a wall with a door at the back of the restaurant and the bar.

I discover this place on a first date. The girl and I didn't last, but I've been going to the place for over 7 years now. This is the best Mexican food in the Philadelphia area. Finally, someone in Philadelphia that cooks my favorite Mexican dish: carnitas. The carnitas are great with the pork pieces well marinated and cooked. I went regularly for years to get their carnitas. But I put on a lot of weight from the pork. I recently lost a lot of weight and my stomach was too tiny to eat all that pork I eat in the past, so I have a new dish enchiladas verde that I eat. The enchiladas verde are chicken enchiladas in green sauce and good as the carnitas were. The review has been long overdue, but a reason I was slow on it was business was always great, all the time I was there didn't seem like the need for my help. Even during the pandemic before a vaccine arrive, I had to wait for 30 minutes to get service, so that should tell you something about the quality of the food. But today, I finally gotten to its review and if this review brings a new person in to try it, I am sure that person will thank me for encouraging them to try Las Margaritas.

Food is always good and love take out! The seats are beat up and this place is super loud which makes the eating in unenjoyable for me. But love to order take out bc the food is great.

I haven't been here for a a few years because I felt like it wasn't as good as it was. Came back and boy am I impressed!! Food is so fresh and delicious! I had the Shrimp Tacos... the best I ever had, and I'm a a traveler! Fresh guacamole for my chips and the salsa and chips to start. Great service, quick and friendly... can't say enough about them!!!

This was my first visit... My cousin continued to rant and rave about how much she loved this place and well, I was left underwhelmed. The chimichangas weren't bad, but I've had better. Like way better. My refried beans weren't good at all, honestly. The service wasn't really that great. Our waiter kept forgetting stuff, and the hostess appeared annoyed with us, which another staff person stated that she was just having a bad day to someone else. I guess. The best part of the night was watching the woman make the guacamole right at our table. However, the place is apparently a hot spot/the place to be because there wasn't an empty table in sight and when we were leaving, the line was almost out the door waiting to be seated. Not what I'd consider the greatest experience, but it wasn't horrible either. Won't be driving there again, though. Way out the way for such a lackluster experience. If you're nearby, and decide to give it a shot, I hope your experience is better!

Since the pandemic outbreak, food and drinks are completely different that what we've come to love. The chicken nachos are using some form of dry chunks of fried chicken vs the wonderful moist shredded chicken that was stewed. Margaritas watered down. Main courses were salty and not the flavors we remember. Seems like a lot of the original staff are gone. They are not very accommodating even to their loyal clients. Very sad. This use to be 5 star. Save your long wait time and money and find another place until they get their act back together

I really don't know why this place gets bad reviews. The food here is phenomenal. I absolutely love the quesadillas, especially the beef quesadilla. The burritos here are also amazing. -1 star only because the menu prices have not been updated yet. Also, they should be using hand dryers in the restrooms, not paper towels.

Not the same outfit as before (3 years ago or so.) noting was good. Stale chips, unpalatable salsa, and it was downhill from there. Really disappointed.

I ordered the carnitas tacos and it looked so messy that I didn't want to eat it but I still gave it a try... and it had no flavor; there was too much meat in the taco; it didn't even smell good; when I told them I was unsatisfied the rude waiter didn't even take it off the bill. It was $20 for 4 tacos... and I took only 1 bite and it was nasty and soggy and they did not want to take it back. How cheap. But yeah I would only suggest the margaritas. The tacos were not good.

I love everything about this place. Pick 3 for $15.99 - say less. I eat a giant chicken burrito and some rice and beans and still have an entire burrito and quesadilla to take home for leftovers. I cannot stress this enough get that quesadilla and pack it up for later - the shelf life in the fridge is good it doesn't get soggy or anything!!! 32 oz marg gets you right literally every time - frozen mango with sugar rim is my go to - and they don't cheap out on the tequila. Their piña colada daiquiris are fire too. Free rounds of fresh chips and salsa hit every time. This is one of my favorite spots to go to and it's right by my house. I literally take everyone here. Also, I would never think to order wings from a Mexican place, but my friend did, TELL ME WHY THESE BOYS WERE SO CRISPY I CANT BELIEVEEEE IT. What a hidden gem on the menu!!! Sorry for no pics of food - but you won't be disappointed I promise!! You get a bang for your buck!!

The food was ok I've had much better. The food didn't taste like authentic Mexican. I believe people mostly come here for the drinks.

In my opinion, Las has the best tasting authentic Mexican food in NE Philadelphia. I've been going here for years-since the place opened and never had a bad experience. There pricing is reasonable and they have budget friendly options for lunch and dinner. The pick 2 lunch special will cost you around $8 and this same meal will cost you around $12.00 for dinner. The pick 2 comes with rice and refried beans and your choice of entrée such as quesadilla, burrito, tostado, taco and etc. Their margaritas are delish as well. Served your way-fresh or frozen with sugar or salt on the rim. Flavors include strawberry, mango, lime and more. If you stop here during happy hour which is M-T from 5:00-7:00 you can get a regular sized margarita for $2.99. Feel free to enjoy the free chips and salsa while you sip on your drink as well.

Strike 1- hostess asked to put our name down and told us to wait outside for 10-15 mins. After 30 mins staff didn't contact us so we went inside and hostess were too busy on their social media to check that our table had been ready for past 15 mins. Strike 2- we ordered one cold water and one hot water. We got one coke no ice, and one cold water. Strike 3- I ordered a chicken tortilla soup. Bland taste, worst quality chicken tortilla soup, I had ever put in my mouth. Strike4- I watched a staff leave the bathroom, while trying to shove two finger b/w his unzipped pants for god knows what reason. And walking straight in to a kitchens without washing hands. Finally, I had enough so we decided to just go to hostess to make her aware of these horrible services but they were not even at their desk. So F-it we just left. These is a COVID hot spot by the way.
