The 25 Best Restaurants & Bars In Palm Springs

"For all the various types of nightlife available, a laidback microbrewery and natural wine bar is still somewhat hard to come by in Palm Springs. That’s why Las Palmas Brewery is a gem. Located north of downtown on Palm Canyon, the taproom is a great place to swing by on a lazy Saturday afternoon for a few glasses of unfiltered wine or beer (we particularly like the bitter, tropical Fifty Four saison) and then accidentally stay for three hours. Keep an eye on their Instagram, as they have food pop-ups throughout the week featuring local pizza and taquerias, plus events like movie nights and chess tournaments." - brant cox

Such a great spot here in Palm Springs! Quality beer and choices, though they aren’t many they are quality. Enjoyed the backyard patio (see video for the awesome projector) pretty cool to see a different vibe being brought to breweries, ample games to play from as well.

Google
Great little space to grab a beer. The IPA was delicious and the guy behind the bar was very friendly. Will stop by here again for sure!

Google
Las Palmas is everything you want in a true brewery. The beers are just fantastic (two of our higher-rated on Untappd on our travels), a cute indoor area with great music, and a cool outdoor patio - all of which is dog friendly which we loved. Bartenders were both super friendly and made us feel at home on the road! Would recommend Las Palmas to the true craft beer/brewery lovers, any day of the week. Don’t miss out on this stop on your journey!

Google
This is an excellent brewery! They offer a range of brewing styles and are happy to give you tastes before committing to a full pour. They’ve also got a solid list of natural wines available, if you’re hanging out with someone who’s not into beer. The beertender was friendly and helpful, and we’ll definitely return anytime we’re in the area.

Google
Honestly great concept but horrible execution, after trying multiple wines and a few beers, the beers were flat and way overpriced. Anything smaller than a pint was three oz and four dollars. After two sips it's gone. The one pint I had was flat and empty. All of the wines were fine but tasted like a franzia served cold. As someone who loves natural wines this was such a disappointment. Natural wines are supposed to buy flavorful and funky. These were undrinkable. Staff were friendly enough but could care less about the quality of their drinks.

Google
May 2024: Stopped by to try their beer 🍺 and was pleasantly surprised to see they also had some cans from Trillium Brewery from Boston. Tried the unfiltered IPA from Las Palmas and was happy with the beer 🍺. It was light and not very hoppy nor danky. Tasted almost like a saison. The Trillium can was very good too. A bit pricey at $11 a can but they are very hard to find. Atmosphere was chill. They had a large garden in the back with plenty of seats. Overall, a nice place to grab a drink.

Google
Good little brewery. A smaller selection of beers but all I had were quite tasty. Cool vibe to the place. No flights available but they do have 5 Oz pours. A very comfortable setting. They do have a beer fridge stocked with a lot of different breweries. Also an outdoor patio to enjoy your beer.

Google
Great space, great beer and awesome staff. Tried all their beer. Pilsner and Fifty Four were outstanding.

Yelp
Tasty beer. Dog friendly. Excellent burgers on the patio! Great spot to chill and enjoy a warm February afternoon in Palm Springs.

Yelp
Our absolute favorite spot in Palm Springs. Super tasty cold beers, way friendly bartenders, dope playlist, very chill vibe, great people watching front patio and cozy backyard with fire pit! We've come *multiple* times (sometimes in the same week) and are always impressed by how welcoming it is and how yummy the drinks are. They're a family brewery and it shows in how thoughtfully made the beers are. Snacks and natural wines available with guest taps, NA options and tasty canned options, too! Grab a 4 pack to go! Oh and doggie friendly!

Yelp
The drinks were delicious. Service was friendly and helpful. My group had a lot of questions and he was super patient and customer service oriented. The Ambiance was casual. It was spacious, yet we all seemed to have to stand, which was strange. We hadn't planned on coming here, we were burning time while waiting for a table down the street and this was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend gathering here with friends and coworkers for a relaxing beverage.

Yelp
Very friendly service with ice cold beer on draft. What's not to like? The Las Palmas Pilsner was light and refreshing. They also had a couple of IPA options. No TVs. Just a place to enjoy great beer and catch up with friends. Outdoor seating in front and back as well.

Yelp
Simple clean ambiance Friendly staff, nice small tasting room Flights available Drink local beer!

Yelp
1. The beer was hoppy and good! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! Perfect for groups! 3. The staff were friendly and informative about their drinks! 4. Street Parking is available! 5. Lots of seatings inside and outside! Note: Two single gender-neutral bathrooms available! Photo: Neon

Yelp
If you're looking for a great local craft brewery, then head over to Las Palmas Brewing in downtown Palm Springs. Their taproom is located on North Palm Canyon Drive near Alejo Rd, with patio seating fronting the street and out back. On their rotating taps, my favorites are their unfiltered IPA and their lava black lager. Cheers!

Yelp
Loved it so much I came back twice on one vacation! Great vibe and right on the ps strip :) the staff was very friendly and cheerful. The beer was solid and it felt really cozy there. A new spot to add to my PS hangs for sure!

Yelp
Overall 3.5 out of 5 THE GOOD ° Micro Brewery with its own local flair ° Friendly staff ° Dim lights with a night vibe THE BAD ° No kids allowed - Wife and I almost completely skipped over the place ° Would have been nice to take some beers with me back to the room for my wife to try - No cans or canning offered

Yelp
Nice patios and a friendly bartender, along with some solid beers. No flights, unfortunately, but we were able to taste before committing to a pint. Fifty Four French Saison (great) Coast California Common (great) Europa Black Lager (great)
google avatar

Stephen M.

Yelp
This is a good brewery if you want some different styles of beer. They make a very good saison and a good farmhouse beer. These are great for warm weather and not so easy to find.
google avatar

Janice L.

Yelp
Las Palmas has easily become my favorite brewery since moving to the Coachella Valley from Los Angeles. The vibes are chill and there's usually seating. Somedays they'll have a food vendor in the back area, which is a great place to hang out with friends. And most importantly their beer is delicious and refreshing. They also have a pretty good wine list. And cans to go.
google avatar

Nancy E.

Yelp
very good drinks! very good ambience! and great service! nice patio space to hang out- staff is always friendly and welcoming!

Mange B.

Yelp
We played cards using their deck and cribbage board in their back patio. Very relaxing, good beer, and very welcoming. I bought a sticker!
google avatar

Dessirae M.

Yelp
Enjoy this place very much! Just a very quiet spot to enjoy some beer. The staff is very helpful to help you pick a choice of beer or wine that might be for your liking. If your in the downtown Palm Springs area stop on by.
google avatar

Yelp
Great little brewery to grab a drink while exploring downtown Palm Springs. We dropped in while waiting for a table nearby. They had a small but mighty selection of their own house brews, with a friendly bartender and stylish taproom to enjoy. Everything was great and we'd return!

Yelp
One of my favorite destinations in Downtown Palm Springs. The beer is always delicious. The service friendly and the ambiance a perfect combination of great decor and good vibes--especially from all the easygoing locals and fellow visitors i met along the bar stools. My current favorite on draft as of 1/21/2023 was the January Grisette--and at 3.3% abv it's the perfect session beer.

Marcel R.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to grab a beer, they usually have 4 beers brewed in house but don't let that fool you those 4 beers are executed with excellence. The crew is like 1 big family they all grew up together here locally and you can feel the love in the atmosphere. This brewery is really a concept that hasn't been done before in the valley and they blew it away. Lots of great natural wine options if someone in the group is not much of a beer drinker. Salud amigos

Yelp
My wife and I had our bridal shower at Las Palmas brewing and it was the perfect event space!! 10/10 recommend First and I'd say most important, the staff is so kind and easy to work with. They let my bridesmaids come in early to decorate, let us play our own music on a playlist, and bring extra food (decorated cookies and light bites) but honestly we didn't need any extra food because the tacos in the back was SO good. The staff was also so much fun during the party and brought out this wine pitcher we could drink out of and everyone loved it. Second, the space is so beautiful. We had the inside and outside booked because it was cold and potentially going to rain, but initially we planned to have just the outside space and during warmer months that is also plenty of room. The inside space has great decor and seating also. Last, they have a variety of natural wines and solid beer selection so we really had something for everyone. Thank you Las Palmas we will always remember this day!! it was truly the best way to start our wedding weekend

Yelp
Hidden gem! Visited on a Saturday by accident and I will be coming back on my next visit. Extremely clean brewery serving seasonal beers on tap as well as wine. They also have a few fun NA options including mint tea and ginger ale. Shout out to the secret back patio with a projector, tiki lights, fun music and pop up food served by Hoja Blanca. Hoja Blanca's Quesataco De Rajas was the BEST meal of my vacation hands down! Served with caramelized onion, poblanos, crema and corn - it was all my oasis! Beautiful! Thank you Las Palmas + Hoja Blanca. The best of both worlds.

Yelp
Good vibes, great beer. This is a can't miss as a Portland native in Palm Springs. Would drink 6 pints of their table beer.

Yelp
Great location!!! Finally a brewery in downtown PS! Had their hazy ipa and it was super tasty!
google avatar

Vicki T.

Yelp
The back patio is the spot to be for a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Open seating, and nice shade available. Bartender was nice. Beer and wine available, perfect if you have non-beer drinkers in your group. I had a pitcher of their seltzer, not bad.
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
I loved this place. Palm Springs needed a brewery just like this one. The ambience and service was perfect. I will be visiting every time I come out to Palm Springs.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in to check them out yesterday. We are both beer geeks who homebrew. The space at Las Palmas is super clean, inviting, and well designed. They have a nice patio out back. I'm not huge on saison style beer (which they specialize in) so we ordered an IPA and a black lager. Both beer were spot on. Really solid beer. They had a pop up burger stand out back, which I am told is not always there. So if you are looking for food call in advance to find out. Sam (owner/brewer) was so nice and could tell we were beer nerds so he showed us the brew system. This place will be a regular stop for us when visiting Palm Springs.

Mat M.

Yelp
This place was a gem! It has a cozy atmosphere, amazing back patio and a front sidewalk patio great for people watching. We also enjoyed the taco cart on the patio too. It's certainly with a stop!

Yelp
Las Palmas hosted a large party of 25 for our anniversary party with friends and they were fantastic. It was 115 degrees that Friday and they kindly reserved the indoor space for us (we originally reserved the back patio) which was a HUGE relief for us!! We were so grateful that they thought to proactively save the indoor space for us. The beers and natural wines were great! They also let us order pizza to serve our guests. The bartenders were really nice and laidback, and the vibe was chill, relaxed, fun. We're so happy we hosted our welcome drinks event here and absolutely recommend it to anyone hosting a big event!
google avatar

Jelena L.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! Our beers were so delicious. We sat in the back on their patio. Very clean and cute establishment. We really enjoyed our time here while visiting Palm Springs! Can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Yelp
On a bachelor party brewery crawl, we made our last stop at Las Palmas Brewing. It was a Saturday afternoon but they were more than willing to accommodate 11 of us on their back patio. It was a hot day (when isn't it hot in the desert?) but they had plenty of umbrellas to provide shade over the picnic tables. I ordered their homemade seltzer - it was light and refreshing, perfect for a hot day. The rest of the group enjoyed their variety of beers. But my favorite part: brewery merchandise! Their logo made for some very cool t-shirt and hat purchases that I can now rock wherever I go.
google avatar

Vincent C.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and both times I've had a good time. Each time the beertender was friendly and explained what beer they have and also the guest beers. They definitely have some good beer but because I didn't taste the beers beforehand I got beer that I really didn't like. At the same time my homegirls always got beers that I thought tasted delicious. So next time I'll have my homegirls pick out a beer for me.
google avatar

Carson B.

Yelp
Artisan style beers with great flavor profiles, natural wine offerings. Beer is too notch, bar has a cool laid back vibe. Merch available is cool too.
google avatar

Giovanna D.

Yelp
Was exploring the area during Desert X this year and found this brewery on Yelp. It's quaint and has a nice aesthetic. Somewhat small inside, but they did have front and back patio seating. They have a good beer selection and small snacking options. We opted for a charcuterie that was good to much on while we drank our beers. They have an excellent selection of merch and offer beers to-go. We will definitely re-visit this trendy establishment the next time we're in the area!

Maggie T.

Yelp
This is our must-stop-by-every-time-we-visit place in Palm Springs. The staff is so wonderful and kind and will help you pick out a good beer or wine. If you don't like beer or wine, there's seltzers in the fridge and sometimes on tap. Merch is super cute, so make sure you grab some! The atmosphere is relaxing and boho + they have an outside area with benches in the back. Dog friendly, too!
google avatar

Shaida L.

Yelp
Service is beyond great! Very chillax but attentive House beers are o-k. I had the house saison and it was not a complex flavor. Tropical IPA was PRETTY GOOD. The beers will complement that desert sun day drinking but not I would Not coin this a craft beer full of complexity. The environment is amazing and the beers and service chill. Definitely worth a visit

David E.

Yelp
Tried this spot for the first time and was not disappointed. Hector was knowledgeable and very friendly. Cool patio in the back and this inside was nice and clean. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
My girlfriend and I love to visit breweries across the country, and we absolutely enjoyed our trip to Las Palmas. In fact, we were in Palm Springs for 3 nights and it was so awesome we came each night before dinner. The beer and wine selection is great, the staff is extremely friendly, the merch is the best we've seen, the back patio is relaxing, and there is fantastic pop-up food options which work for dinner or a snack. If you enjoy breweries, make sure to stop in here!
google avatar

Valerie V.

Yelp
Nice vibe; great atmosphere. Tasty selection of beers. Try the tropical ipa, refreshing. The french saison was excellent as well. You do have to order food due to covid restrictions, but their charcuterie is already prepped and actually has a really good selection of cheeses.
google avatar

Kassandra Z.

Yelp
The ambience, quality of beers, and selection of wines is top notch. It's dog friendly, there's a really nice beer garden in the back and they often have popups with some local chefs with delicious foods .

Trevor S.

Yelp
I love this place. Probably my favorite brewery in SoCal. Great owners and great beer and a super cool vibe
google avatar

Chance K.

Yelp
This micro brewery in the heart of Palm Springs is easily the best craft beer in town. The farmhouse ale was delicious, they have a variety of bottles and cans for sale--including from other craft breweries. We took ours to go and enjoyed at Joshua Tree while camping. Friendly service, staff wear masks.

Yelp
Favorite spot in Palm Springs! Great vino, great beer, even better staff. Highly recommended !!!

Cesar O.

Yelp
Beautiful hidden gem! Family owned! They have a good selection of in house brewed beers and natural fermented wines! Service is great! However no food, just light snacks. Definitely a place to check out! Ask them about the wine and the unique fermentation style!! So cool!!!
google avatar

Matthew G.

Yelp
Small place with limited selection/variety on tap (only 5 beers, and they were out of one of them), but it was a chill environment to sip some brews, and the beers we tried were decent: Believe (a hazy, unfiltered IPA) and Fifty Four (a farmhouse/saison)... nothing too unique or groundbreaking, but they were well-crafted representations of the styles.
google avatar

Jim C.

Yelp
My wife and I went here for the first time yesterday. The place is fairly unadorned, but the staff behind the bar were all friendly. They were offering three of their own brews that were made in-house, along with several guest beers. The wife had a glass of their Table Beer, while I opted for the Pacific IPA, which was definitely drinkable. I followed that up with a 10-ounce pour of Tabula Rasa from Second Chance Beer Co., which was good. We sat on the patio in the back, which was a good space, but it has the potential to be a really good space with some engaging decor. There is plenty of room for a giant Jenga or maybe cornhole, but I didn't see anything like that. The inside of the brewery gave me a feeling that the bar was just sort of stuck over in the corner, and could have also used some decor to liven things up. At $8 per pint, the IPA was a bit overpriced -- although I'm sure the rent here is huge, so they have to make their money somewhere. There is plenty of room for improvement here, and as they settle into their new digs, I would hope to see them transform the space into something more inviting. I certainly wish them the best, and will no doubt return at some point to see how they have evolved.

Yelp
June 21 2020 very quaint very nice Palm Springs brewery. My friends seemed to enjoyed themselves. The beer was good cold and refreshing, the music they had playing was very good. Located downtown palm springs area. Wear your mask! Great place.
google avatar

Joe M.

Yelp
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely hitting this place back up. All beers were excellent and easy to drink.
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Good beers that they brew and decent "guest beers" in the cooler. Wine is half off on Tuesdays (at least the one I was there).
google avatar

Deanne B.

Yelp
Really cool atmosphere!! I probably could have stayed here all day lounging in their back patio. Beautiful view, delicious drinks, amazing service! Rey, the owner, is an absolute pleasure to talk to. Very informative on their selections and he was even kind enough to let me sample two white wines to choose from. I ended up choosing their "orange" white wine, which tasted like nothing I've had before, which makes it difficult to describe but you can really taste the quality. Hearing the backstory of this wine really made a lot of sense considering how much of an impact it made on my tastebuds lol. I probably couldn't do the story any justice, so you'll have to go in and experience it for yourself. I also tried the hazy IPA. First of all, I'm not that big of an IPA person but this one really surprised me. Definitely not like any other IPA's I've tried! I'll be ordering this the next time I'm in there and that says a lot for this non-IPA drinking girl lol. I came in with a group of girl friends from out of town, but I'm a local. I'm really looking forward to bringing other friends here when they come to visit. We all had a great time and I'm excited Rey and his team brought this new experience to our community!

Yelp
Great location in downtown area; short walk from our hotel. Very nice, simple, and clean brewery. Small batch micro style with a small brewery system on the way to the cute courtyard area. Beers were phenomenal! Apricot sour was incredible, Aqua Fresca was delicious and refreshing, and the Casual IPA was full of mango and peach! Bartender was nice and sweet and let us try anything we wanted despite not doing flights.
