The 17 Best Restaurants In Santa Fe - Santa Fe - The Infatuation

"For a big night out with great food and drinks, make plans for Paloma. We love catching up with friends while splitting this Railyard restaurant’s underrated vegetarian small plates. Standouts include the roasted carrots dolloped in a peanut-pistachio salsa macha and the El Jardin quesadilla, stuffed with buttery queso Oaxaca melted over delicata squash and nasturtium blooms. You’ll find other groups on the heated patio enjoying cocktails like the michelada verde or chamomile lychee martini. People tease that Santa Fe doesn’t have any young people, but the scene here proves otherwise." - nina katz

Wonderful property with individually decorated rooms. We were lucky to have room 61, which had two private sitting areas. Property was within walking distance of the Plaza. Breakfast was cooked to order from 5 delicious choices. There was indoor and outdoor seating. Pub chips and homemade marshmallows are waiting on the counter each day. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. So happy we discovered this unique lodging.

Delightful hotel! It's quirky and fun, filled with art and spread across historic buildings. Our casita suite is charming, including kitchenette and corner fireplace. It's reached by crossing the street from the lobby and going into a courtyard: you feel like you're entering Secret Santa Fe. Staff is great (friendly, prompt, and bilingual), breakfast delicious. Reasons for the 4 stars: It's just not a luxury property. My husband would be happier paying double or quadruple at Four Seasons. The rooms are small, furnishings a little shabby. But it's quaint. Breakfast is included, simple and good. You order at the counter from 5 or 6 selections, and food brought to table. Coffee, water, juice, and pastries are self-serve. In short, whether you love it (as I do) or not depends on what you're looking for.

We had a great stay at Las Palomas! We loved the location and how easy it was to walk to the places we wanted to see in historic Santa Fe. We also really loved the made to order breakfast they offer. It's rare to find a real breakfast like that included at a hotel these days and that along with the hospitality makes this a really special place. When we checked in, they offered us lemonade, homemade potato chips, and a gift bag for my dog with treats and a toy. I would definitely recommend staying here in Santa Fe for the great service and location!

This was my second stay at Las Palomas and we’ll definitely be back. It’s located within convenient walking distance to the city center and reasonably priced. If you look at rates for any of hotels near the square, you’ll see what I mean. A lot of the rooms are around small court yards with fountains which make for a fun evening hang out. We particularly like this place for the two room suites as we travel with one kid. Most of the clientele seem to be older couples. The included breakfast is an extra treat and another reason choose this place. It’s hard to find any criticisms. The hot water is a little tricky to adjust but that just comes with older plumbing.

Checked out after one night (booked for 5) because it does live up to its photographs. While spacious and quaint and a good value for the area, the rooms are old, mattress was so soft that if someone move it rocked, dark and unattractive. Staff was nice but made it clear that they were unhappy with our decision to leave and charged us for an extra night. Guess they want to make sure that we did not recommend them. Pay more it is worth it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Las Palomas! The location could not be more convenient for walking into town. The service was top notch and everyone we encountered who worked there was super friendly and helpful in suggesting things to do and places to see around the town. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and adorably decorated. The property is well-maintained and it was very quiet at night and in the morning, which is always appreciated. The included breakfast blew my mind as well...delicious house-made meals, great coffee and juices, and a very cute place to sit, relax, and eat. We met the owner as well who offered us his homemade marshmallows (delicious!) and who also leaves homemade potato chips on the front desk for the taking anytime. They are scrumptiously spiced and he uses good oil for cooking them (which is important to us). Free chocolate chip cookies are available all day as well. I highly recommend Las Palomas if you need a fabulous place to say in Santa Fe!

Google
This is a magical place, built around, and preserving, old Santa Fe. This is a gem for a leisure visit or a romantic getaway. It's not posh, but it is warm, funky and charming, very old world. Check in was friendly and comprehensive, if a little hard to find (it's around the back of the main building.) The rooms are in various locations near the main building, in a very quiet neighborhood walking distance to the Plaza and other points of interest. Each room is unique. My room (#20) was clean and comfortable, with a large sofa, bar, little kitchen area and window. Access was through was a locked gate for three units, which I appreciated. The breakfast is very good, with a set of on-demand options plus a continental buffet and fancy coffee. The seating area is gracious, with lovely music playing whenever we were there. The staff are friendly and laid back, and very helpful. While I was there I enjoyed the tent of local weavers out front. Fascinating to see how its done, right there. Notes: My room would not have been appropriate for anyone with mobility issues, as there was a step down to the bedroom and another step up to the living room. Lighting is very soft and romantic, so bring a reading neck light if you like to read or knit.

Google
What a great place. Warmth. Character. The staff is maybe the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. The pride in what they do is profound and they made my stay wonderful. I thought I missed breakfast as it was 10 and ending and was just grabbing a coffee but the gentleman (Eddie) who checked me in the night before stopped me from leaving and walked me over to the kitchen to make sure I ordered a made to order breakfast that is included with the room fee! Just wow. This place is unique, beautiful, and lovely in every way. You won’t regret this. The architecture, the location, it’s so unique. Why stay in the same old same old cookie cutter hotel room in a hallway high rise??

Yelp
Excellent experience. We stayed 4 nights in #9 and loved it. Gorgeous, full unit with a kitchen, bathroom, tv, armoire, fireplace, and private patio. Complimentary breakfast every morning. Loved the blue corn pancakes with a chai the most. Very beautiful and romantic.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at Las Palomas. Located just on the edge of historic downtown, this inn takes up a whole street corner with multiple buildings, some of which date back to the 1890s. It's an easy walk to the Plaza and many other attractions and restaurants. The rooms are decorated in an authentic southwest style and have all the amenities you will need. They serve a delicious breakfast each morning with 5 options to choose from, and it is included with your stay. Front desk service is very friendly and informative. This is a perfect place to stay while exploring Santa Fe.

Yelp
This was the cutest bed and breakfast ever, so unique and cozy! Each night comes with complementary breakfast and a drink. The food was amazing its not just a regular hotel buffet, you get to order from their stacked menu. Highly reccomend staying here if you are in town, the staff was super friendly as well!

Yelp
Incredibly kind and attentive hospitality, old-bones casitas permeated with history, and the perfect location have made Las Palomas my go-to Santa Fe hotel for decades. The staff are so nice, whether checking you in late, serving the made-to-order breakfast (try the burrito with red chili) or grabbing you a bundle of fire wood. The casita vibe is strong - many of the rooms are centuries old, but the beds are modern and comfy and there are nice sofas to lounge on while you watch your fireplace flicker. I love being just outside of the plaza too, it's an easy walk, but nice and quiet at night.

Yelp
I stayed here on a work trip. The hotel is older. They are mini-suites. I had a king bedroom, with a living room, small kitchen and bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Living room smelled like smoke, as it had a fireplace, but didn't seem to be aired out. I didn't use kitchen except to drink water once I ran out of what I brought. Bathroom was tight. Toilet seemed loose, small shower. but clean and nice towels. Old wooden floors that many people like, I wasn't fond of the floors, too creaky. The hotel did serve a breakfast that was made to order. the two different dishes I tried were pretty tasty. And they serve chai tea and all kinds of coffee. That was nice. Parking lot was tight. but my meetings were at a hotel near the Plaza so I left my car parked all week and walked to my meetings and to the plaza and restaurants. overall, i enjoyed for a work trip.

Yelp
cute and cozy, older mini suites with fireplaces. definitely clean and well kept. the breakfast is better than good for complimentary hotel breakfasts, and the service is good. a couple of weird things: ants in the bathroom (in the winter), no hand soap provided, and there was a screw in the window so that it couldn't be closed all the way. seems sus... also the street was pretty loud with the thin/open windows. still a cozy getaway, but i probably wouldn't stay there again with all the other nice places to choose from in santa fe.

Yelp
comfortable , quiet, clean. the staff are all friendly and the breakfast is divine! Easy walk to the plaza

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay even if it was for just a night. We had a king suit. Very spacious. They serve breakfast with juices and coffee in the morning and they have fresh cookies in the evening. Very nice touch! The people there were friendly and accommodating. Our room wasn't ready by 4 but we just walked downtown. Great location only a 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. The only not so great thing about this place was the actual mattress. It literally sunk in the middle. I'd come back and ask for a different room next time. If we stayed more than a night I would have asked. Other than that we loved it.

Yelp
We just had another wonderful stay here. We always love staying here it's such a unique place. When we arrived the man at the front gave us two bundles of wood for the fireplace. When we got to our room there was also fresh wood in the fireplace already. We always like to stay here bc we do like to make a little fire it's always so romantic. However, this time the fireplace was not cleaned properly & it smoked us out. We had to put the fire out & air out the room, as we were not able to have a fire. We found the grounds, room, service to be in its usually orderly fashion, however, the fireplace needed a good cleaning we were not able to have a fire which was the whole reason for staying at this hotel. Attention management: "During the winter months you have to keep ALL the maintenance up, especially the fireplaces. We were very disappointed that we were not able to have a fire bc the fireplace needed a cleaning." Hubby and I just decided to leave early & drive back home as we had other pressing engagements. We were told the breakfast started at 7 and indeed it did, right on time. We were the first ones at brekkie, we grabbed a couple of fresh made to order Cappuccinos to go and loaded up a cup of fresh cut up fruit to go. They were both super delicious. Thank you for the wonderful brekkie. Please clean the fireplaces. Will update my review accordingly.

Yelp
This unassuming gem of a hotel is positioned in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of the downtown area. We were pulling a trailer and had enough room to park in the private lot. Our room was thoughtfully stocked with high-end personal care products (shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, lotion, face and body bar soaps). The rooms are adequately sized for 2 people. They are a pet-friendly hotel and our dog enjoyed meeting other dogs. The made-to-order breakfast, which is included in the room cost, was excellent! I had the breakfast burrito and my husband had the eggs, bacon, hash brown combo. Loved that we got free lattes and coffee until 10 am. We are on the outdoor patio dining area, but there is also inside seating. Definitely will book here again in the future.

Yelp
Stayed here last year and it was wonderful so came back again, stayed at a completely different room (Benjamin Britten room!) which was superb. Charming and comfortable (very spacious), you can get fully immersed in the flavor of the region which makes this place so very special and far better than any hotel rooms. And speaking of far better than hotels, their breakfast which got upgraded from last year was amazing, it beats any hotel breakfast I have ever had by far (AND it is included with the stay which is so great)

Yelp
This place was perfect for my stay in Santa Fe. Check in was easy, even if my room wasn't ready til 5 or so when the place wasn't at full capacity but that was most likely because I asked for a room with a tub and a fireplace. (They have very few tubs) Nobody called to tell me it was ready so I had to call and ask but when I got there I found my bags (three heavy ones) were placed in my room for me I had an issue with the air and the fireplace and called the front desk who said he'd come in about an hour to check it out. I wanted to go get dinner, after a 7hour flight and no food, so I stayed that was unacceptable and if they didn't work I wasn't staying in that room. He and maintenance came quickly and figured out the AC remote needed new batteries and the pilot for the fireplace need to be relit. Thanks guys!! It was so peaceful and quiet there. With no maid service u less requested (covid and all) there were no maids banging on doors around the room The room had everything I needed. Glasses, tea, coffee, fridge, microwave, a deep tub, soft pillows. I slept like a baby. There's free full breakfast everyday. I didn't try it as Im not an early eater but I sure enjoyed the hot chocolate ,tea and cappuccino. Check out was a breeze. Everyo e is very friendly here. The artwork around the grounds is eclectic and lovely to see. Super close walking to distance to where you want to be and an adorable piano bar right down the street where the locals go. I'll be back!

Yelp
I recently stayed here and I'm impressed with the attention to detail in the facilities and food and the service levels from all staff. The grounds are gorgeous as well with a variety of interesting details, The lighting at night along the roof lines looked like luminarios. The sculptures throughout the various buildings are unique. I was fortunate enough to be in a 1 bedroom apartment suite with full kitchen and living area. It was beautifully appointed. The toiletries were quite nice. The complementary breakfast had a wide selection of items to choose from. Thank you for your hospitality.

Fran S.

Yelp
This has been said in other reviews but is so true. Know up front what room you will be staying in. The pictures I see in reviews do not remotely look like the casita we stayed in. First the good, (this will be quick) the bed was comfortable and bedding was nice. The bathroom had clearly been remodeled. Now the bad... our casita was a 1 bedroom apartment, probably built in the 1930's. Sound charming? It wasn't. The saltillo tile was broken and filthy. There was an overflowing trash can under the kitchen sink along with someone's discarded take out food. The furniture in the living area was thrift store calibre. The courtyard we had to walk through was full of plant debris and trash. Parking was tight. To call this area sketchy would be a compliment. And all for the reasonable price of $300. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we blew out of there before 7 am, never to return.

Yelp
If you want to stay in Santa Fe and have the best customer service ever- stay at Las Palomas! The rooms are so comfortable and inviting- and the location is perfect to access everything that Santa Fe has to offer. But the real magic of Las Palomas are the people who work there- and their commitment to your comfort and happiness. They have created an atmosphere of joy- and the snacks and delicious breakfast make you feel so welcome. Do not hesitate to stay at Las Palomas when you come to Santa Fe- your time there will make your trip all the more special!

Yelp
We stayed for a couple of nights at this place, and have really enjoyed the stay! The rooms were Cosy and clean, and the breakfast was 5-star - with made to order omelets, burritos and breakfast tacos. Lattes and cappuccino were really tasty too. We also liked the welcoming staff. Strongly recommend!

Yelp
I first stayed at Las Palomas 11 years ago and returned this week. I joined a group of old friends who were in Santa Fe for the first time. It's an enchanted place. While rooms were simple, they were welcoming and comfortable. We gathered every morning for breakfast together in the lobby. Food and coffee were excellent. The staff was wonderful... and fresh baked cookies every afternoon were divine.

Yelp
Had an awesome stay last night. Very quaint and cozy bugalow type of rooms. I had the king size bed room with a kitchen. Very spacious and clean. Breakfast was available but I had to get back on the road. Very close to downtown Santa Fe and restaurants. Checkin was a breeze. Staff and management were incredible.

Yelp
Don't trust pictures with a rooms. It's like a motel, don't authentic Pueblo. At Booking.com you can see nice Pueblo room with a fireplace, but instead of this you get cheap motel room. Hotel management don't see a problem with this fraud. And don't trust positive reviews, hotel just ask you to provide it, they literally extort it

Ellen L.

Yelp
Really disappointing hotel. Booked two day stay and left after first night. Casita with fireplace that smelled very smoky but no ability to build fire. Dirty window above bed in bedroom. Burned out light bulb in lamp in bedroom. Generally kind of creepy. Good news: nice breakfast service, sheets and shower.

Yelp
This was an excellent find if you're looking for the complete Santa Fe experience for a moderate price (an average of $156 per night), and it almost didn't happen because I made the huge mistake of booking through Agoda. It started with a fat finger error where I shorted me and Jamie W. a night when I made an online reservation through TripAdvisor. I called Agoda up to add a night thinking it wouldn't be a problem. Wrong! They said I couldn't change the reservation to add the night and because it was Memorial Day weekend, they wouldn't accept a single night booking. I pleaded but to a completely indifferent service rep who wasn't willing to help me. It was only after I contacted the hotel directly that it was straightened out, and I was still convinced Agoda would charge me for their reservation. The moment we walked into the lobby we were reassured that I wouldn't be double charged, and I wasn't. The location was ideal on West San Francisco Street on the quiet side of Guadalupe away from the hubbub of the plaza. It has the classic southwestern look at including a guest room that felt like a casita. There was a gas fireplace, a mini-fridge, and enough adobe to make Georgia O'Keeffe delirious. We stayed four nights and took advantage of the complimentary waffles and omelettes they made for breakfast as well as the cappuccinos and cookies warming in their crockpot the rest of the day. The staff was first-rate, and we liked how almost everything was within walking distance including a shopping center with a CVS and a Sprouts to pick up snacks and such. We would definitely come back here should we find ourselves in Santa Fe. And now I know to book directly. RELATED - Do you know the way to Santa Fe? Yelp
The first night I got here which was late. I could not get into the lock box. I finally was able to to get my packet of keys. A man showed up to help me get to my room which was far away it was so dark here tried to get into my room couldn't get into my room because they put the wrong keys in my packet. had to call again to ask for someone to come let me in my room and he never showed back up again had to go and get another hotel that night... ended up paying for another hotel that night. still in Santa Fe I'm gonna go home and argue that first night because I'm not paying for a night and I couldn't even get into my room because the hotel could not see it to get me into my room. The hot water is not hot. It's hot for about five minutes and then it no longer is so you have to end up taking if you shave if you're a woman, you have to take one bath get out and then get back in and wash your hair. Breakfast is amazing, but I can pay for breakfast somewhere else. Tried to light a fire in the fireplace which they say they give you a stack of wood every day. I've not been able to lite it yet. I've tried about 20 times. gave me some pitiful, small matches which you can't lite a fire with and no no the fire I couldn't lite that I even tore a box down, trying to light a fire cause I thought it would work but no. The room is nice has many amenities, but fix all of these situations because I will not be staying here again. kind of tried to blame it on me that it was my fault that I could not get into my room are you kidding me. It's a subzero for me, but they don't have a subzero so I gave it 1.

Norma G.

Yelp
Beautiful place, fresh breakfast and it's homemade. The service is great, the only areas of improvement are housekeeping is limited on Saturday. Beware of theft lock your cars, I had $100 of liquor stolen from my car last night 3/2/24.

Yelp
Some of the kindest people that work here and run this place. Will be back to stay here soon.

Yelp
A Santa Fe treasure. Loved the clean casitas, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast was perfect. Will be back.

Yelp
Love love love Las Palomas! Lots of little extras, warm cookies, espresso all day long free of charge, fire starter kits for each room, made to order omelettes and beautiful rooms!

Yelp
I don't have enough good things to say about Las Palomas. I think it's technically a bed and breakfast but more of a fusion between a bed and breakfast, a hotel, and an apartment. We stayed here for one night on a trip to Santa Fe and I was impressed from the very start. The property has the classic pueblo Native American style that you see a lot of in the historic area of Santa Fe. Service was friendly throughout and the lobby area is beautiful. They have fresh warm cookies at reception, a nice welcome. You can also get your coffee fix 24/7. There is even a live tree inside the lobby, how cool! You get your own little pueblo-style apartment with a living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Our living room had a fireplace which was perfect as it was a little chilly in Santa Fe in November. The interior was nice all-around with nice amenities, decoration, and cleanliness. Make sure not to miss out on breakfast! They make you custom omelets, custom pancakes with fresh fruit, and they have an assortment of buffet items including quesadillas, bread, pastries, fruit, cereal, and much more. We went on a road trip throughout Arizona and New Mexico and Las Palomas was our favorite spot. Best "hotel" and best breakfast on the trip, hands down. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Quaint and cute hotel. Very nice breakfast options, and warm cookies in the evenings. Would stay here again.

Yelp
I have been staying for years and have watched it continually go down hill. We just left after staying there 4 nights. There were ants everywhere and when I wiped up the floor it was filthy as though it hadn't been cleaned in months. My husband had to get his tool box to fix the rickety kitchen table so we would have a place to eat. They used to offer a wonderful breakfast and now it was like eating at MacDonalds so we started going out for our meals so that was an expense we hadn't planned on. They offer cookies and everyday they were burnt. The morning pastry was hard and stale. Oh yes, also I was cleaning off spiders from the floor and the heating vent was disgusting and covered in soot and spiders webs. They used to provide firewood and leave it on your doorstep. Now if you want some you have to go to the office and carry it yourself. The supply is also smaller and if you want more it is 10$!!!!!! For a few small pieces. I could go unfortunately but you get the picture. I would not go back if they offered me free nights it was so bad. It was sold and we met the new owner and by the way he was serving the stale pastries and burnt cookies so I haven't much hope For the future. Goodbye so sad.

Lexi O.

Yelp
I wish I had taken pictures. Such a great place! We really enjoyed staying here, especially with it being pet friendly. Really cozy, and close to everything! The staff was super sweet, the breakfast/coffee drinks were really good(I was worried it was going to be premade food). Feels like a home away from home.

Rebecca R.

Yelp
Although close to everything, having a comfy bed and had what looked like some really nice units, we stayed in unit #5 and it was awful. Every window looked at a wall, one picture in the bedroom otherwise bare walls and the curtain rod in the living area was broken making opening and closing the curtains precarious. The last straw was turning on the kitchen light and finding a mouse on the counter. This place was not inexpensive by any means and not worth even half of what they charged. My advice is your money would be better spent somewhere else and you probably won't have disease carrying rodents in your kitchen.

Steven S.

Yelp
What a nice surprise. Convenient to restaurant, shopping, museums, yet hidden away from the hustle. Not your typical hotel. Casitas spread out over a few blocks. A nice quiet clean neighborhood with privacy not a noisy hotel.
google avatar

Marian H.

Yelp
This is a very nice hotel- my only reason for not giving five stars is that our inroom fireplace did not work reliably and the room then got cold. It is owned by a former Met Opera singer.

Hudson B.

Yelp
This hotel stay wasn't the greatest but not horrible. The room and building overall matches the overall vibe of Santa Fe. What was disappointing and a key factor in my impression was/is the price. My family and I paid hundreds for a pretty small room where the main focus seemed to be the kitchen area. The parking situation was also very wonky. On the bright side, the complimentary breakfast was pretty dang good, and the staff were kind.

Tammy S.

Yelp
The location is perfect and walking distance to the square. Lovely bed and breakfast rooms. Parking lot, breakfast included. Hot cookies and water and juice all free all day. Coffee and ice cream and water inexpensive after 10am. Lovely indoor and outdoor patios Very clean and maid service daily- you must request it before 10pm Quaint surroundings Look Forward to returning .

Jody s.

Yelp
I will never stay anywhere else in Santa Fe! It's charming, well appointed, and well located. Breakfast is included and it's a full service hot breakfast with a menu and cold buffet. Fruit and hot cinnamon buns available all day! The owner is cordial and warm. He's a retired opera singer and plays soft opera music in the lobby and restaurant. Fire places are as warm as the people who work here! Love Las Palo

Yelp
Better management is direly needed in order for this to be a good place. The main source of continual noise was the housekeeping staff. They were loud and obnoxious chatting with each other and on the phone, and it made this place the most un-relaxing hotel we have ever stayed. At one point we went back to the room to relax and opened the windows for the cool breeze and chirping birds. Not soon after, a housekeeper started cleaning a room next to us (which was fine if she were discreet) and put her cleaning supplies, bucket and filthy mop on the window ledge right at our open window! But the worst part about our stay was the fact that we came in one afternoon and could tell people had been in our room and added furniture and moved other furniture and our belongings around! We were not at all expecting anyone to enter our room (how about providing a "do not disturb sign"?) and would have put away personal items/jewelry etc if we thought while we were away there was going to be a total breach of our room with furniture moving. They weren't there to clean our room (trash wasn't taken out or anything)! Kitchen staff lazy and rude (you can't make more coffee in the morning? Need to put away all the coffee cups before you tell me no more coffee after I ask and I am waiting while my food gets cold? Manager heard this and did nothing to help.). We left before 7am the next day, eager to leave.

Manchen B.

Yelp
We have been staying here for many times over the years, even same time last year! We like this small quiet place. People were friendly, service was great and accommodating. But this time it seems a little different.... Less friendly, front desk is kind rude and superficial...we did not feel the welcome. Here just one example: after driving 10hours and arrive late, there was not a bottle water in the room. When I ask the front desk, they basically just say "we don't have water, you need go to the store and the get it" They did refresh the casitas with new paint, not sure if the ownership had changed so the service has gone down? I gave 4stars before, also wrote nice reviews on Expedia before... but this time I only want to give them 3stars! At end of my stay, I am upgrading it since I did have some friendly service and help from Steve! Thank you!

Mark S.

Yelp
Overall nice place to stay. Rooms are a little rustic. Wifi is very weak. Morning breakfast is fine, food is average.
google avatar

Debbie S.

Yelp
Cute place. Horrible parking. Were told we got upgraded to a better room. It is so hot in here. We reset the thermostat and left for a few hours. Came back and the temp was still hot. Maintenance man came and now says AC is broken. It's nearly 10pm. They're looking for a different room, but guess who has to haul all the stuff. Yep. Next time I'll save my $300 originally intended for something unique to Santa Fe and stay in some place familiar.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I stayed 3 nights here. The room was cutely decorated and clean, and the staff was friendly. The only downsides were with the breakfasts. We missed breakfast on the first day due to receiving incorrect information from the front desk upon check-in, on the second day they were out of several breakfast items without updating their posted menu, and on the last day they messed up some of the items that we ordered. Other than those mishaps with the breakfasts, it was a nice stay.

Yelp
Great location at a reasonable price! In town for work and play and our first visit to Santa Fe. We booked a studio via hotels.com. We arrived and front desk was friendly and helpful. The studio was a bit small for our 3 night stay so we inquired as to upgrading. The manager, Steve, reached out to us the next morning and offered us 1 of 2 rooms - our choice. We ended up with #37 and it was spacious, comfortable and clean! Easy walkable location to the plaza area; friendly staff; free fresh baked cookies - yum! And coffees made to order! Unfortunately we did not take advantage of the free breakfast which I'm sure we missed out! I would stay there again on our next visit in town.

Yelp
Loved this place!! Located perfectly, so walking is always an option. Tina checked us in and upgraded us to a bigger suite. Great breakfast and coffee fresh made when you want it, including expresso. Self parking, clean nice comfortable rooms. Team is attentive and helpful with suggestions for dinner and things to do. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Yelp
Las Palomas is that unique, New Mexico, location that you need to check out the next time you're in the area. We stayed for only one night, but every bit about our stay was amazing. Check-in was so easy and accompanied by fresh baked cookies for each of us. Our room was located just down the street and had the cutest outside area. Inside our spacious room was a fireplace, a large bathroom, sitting area and more. We had firewood outside our room and starter kits inside the lobby for all the guests. This was such a nice addition to the room and truly made our experience wonderful. We were only about .6 mile walk from the best restaurants, art, and bars located in the downtown area. And of course, the breakfast! It is all the rave, plus some. We had fresh juice, any kind of coffee, latte, cappuccino you wanted, and homemade omelettes, waffles, quesadilla, fresh fruit. AND it was all included in the total price of the room. Just leave a tip for those hard working employees, who not only check you in, but also cook your meals, greet you with a big smile and clean up your area when you're done. We highly recommend Las Palomas and WILL BE BACK! :)

Yelp
I know my review just isn't going to do this place justice, but I'm going to try anyway. Checking In: Easy process. You get a map (because your particular room may be down the street) and a pamphlet with all kinds of things that are around you from shops to restaurants. The person checking you in will highlight your wifi and anything important so you don't forget. :) Also, and this is very important...they have warm chocolate chips cookies on the counter. Make sure you grab a few to take back to your room to enjoy. The Room: It's a true New Mexican beauty! Our room was down a short pathway. We had a fireplace, a bed, tv, a nice bathroom, and a small kitchen. It's basically your very own little apartment. We never really heard anyone outside or next to us so we felt like we were in our own space the entire time. Breakfast: Do not, under any circumstances, go anywhere else for breakfast while you're staying here. I mean it. You get a made-to-order omelette with whatever different ingredients you want to include. And! Fresh waffles. Not just that. You can request to have a variety of fruits in your waffles. And then! You can get coffee, espresso, cappuccino, chai latte, etc. I mean, come on. This is all besides a full spread of a regular continental breakfast including bagels, fruits, pastries, etc. Out of control, you guys. We were able to stuff our bellies and then walk on over to the plaza afterwards feeling completely satisfied. Location: The best. They have a shuttle to take you anywhere within a one mile radius. It's great but if you're a capable walker, it's really not necessary. You can walk within minutes to the plaza, which includes a bunch of shops, restaurants, and the Georgia O'Keefe Museum. A short drive takes you to Meow Wolf (amazing) and all kinds of other places. Check Out: Just as easy and fast as check in. I'm excited to be able to come back one day!

Yelp
LOVED our getaway to Las Palomas! Came down for a quick girls trip/mom getaway and this adorable place exceeded our expectations. Neil is a gracious and warm host, making delicious breakfasts and always at the ready at the coffee machine. The rooms are unique, clean and charming. The fireplaces in each unit were such a nice treat!

Yelp
Disappointed upon check in today. Stayed at this little compound of Casitas numerous times maybe 17 to 20 years ago and loved it! I think it's gone downhill, plants have not been watered there were no pots of color anywhere, requested a room with Viga ceilings, didn't get it. Fences need painting and it just seems a little rough it's a shame.

Yelp
I like to try different places when I revisit cities but my partner and I enjoyed our stay at Las Palomas so much it would be a hard decision to turn down another opportunity. Easy walking distance to the city square and the staff was very helpful in recommending places to visit and eat with special considerations for the pandemic. The room was very cozy. The small kitchenette was perfect and made our take out dinner feel romantic.
