"Peruvian sandwich shop Las Primas closed its Williams restaurant after almost nine years. A statement posted on the restaurant’s website said it was time for the team to “move on,” saying the restaurant will close for good after service on February 22. The restaurant was known for its sandwiches and its pisco cocktails." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Hands down the best Peruvian food in Portland! Please don't go here. The food is always amazing, the staff is friendly, and the service is great. Seriously, don't make me wait in line. The Chicken Fresca salad is one of my favorite salads in town, and the salsa bar makes it the right kind of spicy. I sincerely hope you don't try it.

This is the go-to joint for Peruvian street food and sandwiches. Pictured here, is the Lomo Saltado sandwich, which happens to be my favorite. Nice vibes in this joint. Counter service, and quick turnaround for orders. They make one heck of a pisco sour as well. Highly recommended.

I had the beef & olive empanada, I had a nice cook to it and the dough had good flavor. I did think the filling was lacking in flavor a bit. I add a bit of each of their homemade sauces and that really spices things up well, but what can I say... I’m a sauce guy. The cost of the empanadas are just a tad high at $4. For their size, I think $3.50 would be more affordable, and encourage people whom are on a budget to try two or more flavors. Draft beer is $5.50 and they have an ipa and stout on tap, along with a cider currently. They have bottled Peruvian beer at $3.5, Sangria, and Inca kola.

I always enjoy Las Primas. They participated in Burger Week 2018 and knocked it out of the park. Las Primas didn't let me down for dumpling week either. Absolutely amazing empanada with a crispy, flaky shell that is melt in your mouth amazingness! ♥️♥️♥️ The staff here are always amazing and I've never had a bad experience!

Nice restaurant in a nice location of town. It is very nicely decorated, clean , and the food is good. I would say is more a mix of Peruvian with American food.

I'm from Trujillo, Perú and came here to try out this restaurant. Service was OK tending to bad. Food was half Peruvian half American, not truly Peruvian. The main sauces like ají amarillo and rocoto were terrible, it was more like a garlic sauce. Chicha morada was a complete disappointment, it was the powder one, not the real purple corn juice. The environment of the place is awesome, can't deny that, they did a good job there but that's pretty much it. Wouldn't go back there.

Was here for burger week. Kind of an unremarkable burger overpowered by the slices of cucumber. Saw someone else with some more traditional Peruvian fare. Wouldn't mind trying that out.
