"Las Qolqas Eco-Resort & Spa is a hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Peru. Opened in 2021, the resort aims to highlight its natural surroundings. Recently, it introduced a new geodesic dome designed for various guest activities such as weddings, yoga, and stargazing. The dome, built using Brazilian Oak by Jorges Vinicius Oliveira Maron's company and Cusco-based Ecoconstrucción, features glass windows for stunning mountain views. Resort rates start from $180 for a two-person tent." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Spectacular property nestled in a valley uphill from ollantaytambo. Beautiful steam running through the property. Flowers everywhere. Amazing meals on site. Spa with sauna and hot tub. Truly an amazing experience. 10 minute shuttle into town is the only minor drawback but they run it all day and to the train station. Made the experience flawless. The staff and owner were so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the couples spa/massage experience!

The most amazing unforgettable experience! I wish we could stay longer. The view is breathtaking, rooms are impeccable cleaned, the beds are the best. Every details were carefully selected for the comfort of the guest. I love having alpaca throws available. The garden is so well taking care of and full of flowers, avocado and fig trees. The resort is located close to Ollaytantamba and the shuttle service was very convenient. They organized laundry service for us and it was absolutely needed and appreciated. Hope to return one day.

This is a beautiful resort in a spectacular setting. The service was outstanding. Before we even checked in, the staff communicated with us and made sure our needs were met. Gianfranco was especially friendly, helpful and accommodating. The tents are very nice and cozy, the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The included breakfast at the restaurant was great. It's around a 5 minute taxi into Ollantaytambo, so not walkable to the sites, but worth the ride to stay in such a beautiful, luxurious setting.

What a lovely place! The setting, accommodations, food, staff were splendid. The "tents" were substantial and thoughtfully constructed and furnished. Everything was sparkling clean. Breakfasts (provided) and the one dinner we ate in the restaurant were delicious. The grounds are nestled in a tight canyon and are beautifully maintained. The staff seems trained to anticipate needs and to respond to inquiries with generosity. Our family would love to return sometime.

We stayed here for 2 nights after our hiking trails, looking to do nothing but rest. And this place is the perfect sanctuary for that. The tented rooms are not only beautiful but thoughtfully designed. Ours had a strong heater and a cozy fireplace, which kept us perfectly warm at night. The resort sits on a huge compound filled with herbs, vegetables, and greenery, making it feel like a peaceful sanctuary. At night, you can see a blanket of stars right from your deck. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh ingredients (many from their own gardens). They provide a free shuttle to city center until 6:30 pm, and taxis are easy to arrange afterward. What makes this resort truly special is its genuine commitment to sustainability. Powered in part by solar energy, the resort treats and recycles its own water, maintains a plastic-free policy, and follows a zero-mile dining philosophy with ingredients sourced from its own organic gardens and greenhouses. The glamping-style tents are designed to blend with the landscape and minimize environmental impact, while community programs support local education, healthcare, and artisan crafts. It’s a place where comfort, culture, and care for the land come together seamlessly. Even TIME listed it as one of the world’s greatest places to stay!We left feeling rested, well-fed, and inspired.

This place was amazing. The pictures online just don't capture how beautiful the entire property is. And how nice the lodge/tent/rooms are. The staff were so very helpful. There was even a stream next to the place where our boys enjoyed playing and hanging out for a while.

You’re treating yourself to a big favor by staying here! The resort is surrounded by majestic mountains and clouds, offering breathtaking scenery. I can’t wait to wake up early and enjoy the stunning views with my coffee and breakfast. Our family stayed here for two nights before embarking on our journey to Machu Picchu. Fortunately, we had booked two nights. My daughter even asked if we could stay longer once we checked in. The staff here are incredibly attentive and friendly. After a day trip touring Ollantaytambo, we preferred to stay in the hotel for dinner. The food is delicious. |Thanks for such a lovely place.

Las Qolqas was perfect for our trip. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful, the "tents" super clean and comfortable. We had to depart early due to a medical situation, and were so sad not to enjoy our full time there and in the special Sacred Valley. The food was delicious. I enjoyed a quiet dusk solo workout in the geodesic building. It was magic. Wish we could have availed ourselves of the spa and more meals. Next time! I want to say a special word about Porfirio, the guide recommended by Las Qolqas. What a treasure he is. He is a repository of information about history, culture, flora, fauna -- all presented with a delightful personality and sense of humor. He came to our aid, as well, by lining up transportation for our family when we needed to depart early. Thanks to everyone!
