"Raleigh’s new tapas spot Las Ramblas brings Spain to the Triangle." - Erin Perkins

"Las Ramblas Tapas Bar (141 Park at North Hills St. #100, Raleigh) is the middle of a trio of spots that prolific restaurateur Giorgios Bakatsias is opening in the City of Oaks this year. The high-energy, 120-seat restaurant with soaring ceilings adds a compelling nightlife option to the edge of Midtown Park in North Hills. In an era where small plates are everywhere, Las Ramblas manages to stand out with updates on Spanish classics. From the deceptively simple pan con tomate on airy and pliable Barcelona-style cristal bread to the acorn-raised Iberico shaved ham that tastes of cheese and red wine, the key here is first-rate ingredients anchoring plates that catapult the diner directly to one of the world’s greatest cities." - Eric Ginsburg

Had a delightful time at this restaurant where the tapas truly shone! I ordered a selection of tapas including potatoes, salad, and octopus, each dish tastier than the last. The pork cheeks are a must-have—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the seafood paella did not live up to the rest, being overly salty and not justifying its price. On the plus side, the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, making for a pleasant dining environment overall. While the paella was a miss, I'd still recommend this spot for its excellent tapas and cozy vibe.

Beautiful restaurant! Food was fantastic! The Duck Wings and Blue Crab Wontons were my favorite! Also the Coffee Tres Leches is delicious!

First time visiting this restaurant and had an excellent experience. First, our waiter (Cooper, I believe) was super friendly and helpful. He recommended some great dishes and we never felt rushed. All of the food we ordered (quite a bit - more than pictured) was delicious. Everything was served fresh and timed perfectly so we weren’t overwhelmed with all the food at once. We had to move tables to accommodate a larger party but it was not a problem and they treated us with yummy desserts. The restaurant itself was super cute with beautiful art. My only complaint is it was a little loud, and although I was still able to catch up with friends, I felt I had to talk pretty loud most of dinner. Not a deal breaker but just an FYI for those who are noise-sensitive. All said, I would definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again!

Everything from the food and service was exceptional. Great for a girls night out or a date night. Definitely will be returning soon. Highly recommend.

Loved it! First, while there is background music, it's not so loud that you have to scream to be heard. The decor was beautiful, especially the tile work and the bar area. Our server was fabulous! A party of 20 and she was friendly, attentive, helpful. The drinks were creative and gorgeously presented. But the food! Sooo good! Between our group probably had most everything on the menu and not one dish disappointed.

Google
Chic restaurant serving Spanish tapas. There’s outdoor and indoor seating. Kids friendly when we went for lunch. We ordered the marinated eggplant, Jarmon Serrano, chicken empanadas, and the octopus off the tapas menu. The most impressive one was the octopus. Super soft and tender; very well cooked. The mash potatoes and the chickpeas were a good combo with the octopus. The eggplants are served cold but very flavorful. The chicken empanadas were flaky and tasty. Definitely will come back to try more tapas.

It was a nice spring Saturday evening. We had been wanting to come to this place for some time. Made some reservations and the time came. We were sat right away inside. The restaurant itself is quite big and has some outdoor seating as well. We went to Spain for our honeymoon so this definitely took us back to the experience in Madrid. Drink wise we were excited they offered Vermouth, this was quite delicious and highly recommend. Pros: Decor Ambiance Drinks Lamb meatballs Steak - amazing presentation Cons: Very loud - could barely hear anything Service - a little slow. We had to constantly wave in for help. Food - no good veggie options. Some gross mushroom dish, and a bland looking salad dish. That was basically it. Overall this place is very good but not great. Definitely not worth the price, but we would come back and sit outside so we don’t blow out our ear drums.

Google
This will always be my favorite tapas place! I come here religiously, and everyone is amazing! I’m never disappointed. Honey when I say everything is delicious, I mean everything! Thank you Cooper! You are amazing.

Yelp
The food at this restaurant was excellent! We are accustom to enjoying Spanish food and we found the food to be super authentic. We can easily spot when the food is authentic, or when there is lack in flavor. This place was amazing. The staffs were also very friendly. We tried the croquettes, the ribs, patatas bravas and Spanish omelette. All of the selections were very flavorful in par with traditional Spaniard food. We tried a delicious dessert called coffee tres leche. It was amazing and must try if you are a coffee fanatic. The place also has excellent customer service. The server mistakenly brought us the patatas bravas instead of the Spanish omelette, and they quickly replaced it without a charge. We will definitely be coming back to visit. I also want to bring my family over when they come visit us.

Yelp
Tapas restaurants are my favorite, so on my work trip to Raleigh I was excited to learn about this place right by my hotel. The menu of options wasn't as extensive as I'd hoped for (especially if you're there solo/ are not looking at the shareables) but I found a couple items I really enjoyed-- the albondigas (lamb meatballs) were my favorite. The Sevilla 75 cocktail was suggested for me as I was looking for something gin-based. It was good, but I might try the white Negroni next time. If I lived in the area, I could definitely see myself becoming a regular here. Helpful staff, beautiful interior and welcoming environment, and good food.

Yelp
The reviews lied to me! My hubby and I came into town for a fitness conference. We wanted some delicious food after our long drive. We were sorely disappointed and could only deduce that the other reviewers must've had many drinks before eating, the almost inedible food that we were served. The restaurant is a beautiful and warm. We had an 8:30pm reservation that was honored and we were seated promptly & that's where my compliments end. The food: Ensalada Verde: Warm knock off of Cesar salad that was underwhelming Octopus with potatoes: octopus was cooked well sauce was seasoned slightly. The potatoes tasted like they came out of a box. Pork Belly: sliced pieces of port belly in a weird greasy most unpalatable sauce. I love pork but I took one bite and I did not want to swallow it. Tuna Tartare: mushy on a hash brown with a not so tasty sauce. Paella: I have never seen muscles and clams so small before. They were a bit salty and gritty. The rice did not have that crunch you want when eating the rice. The dish was under seasoned. Fire Drill: fire alarm went off everyone exited the restaurant. Heard staff talking about how this is pretty normal. When we were allowed to enter the restaurant again, no one apologized offered us a free drink or dessert for the disruption to our dinner. Husband ordered a beer after we got back into the restaurant. We waited and waited and waited. I stopped our server and asked and clearly you could tell that she had forgotten to put the order in. Wasted almost $200 on terrible food with average to slow service.

Emily M.

Yelp
Go-to date night spot. Sharing the small plates is the way to go - you get to try several things and compared to restaurants of similar quality, the price is such a good deal.

Gabriel B.

Yelp
Was in town for work came in to eat dinner on Tuesday night. It was busy but surprisingly the place close early. I was really impressed with the food. I had just been in Barcelona a few weeks back so my expectations weren't that high. I opted for four different tapas. All of them were really tasty and had a lot of flavor. The goat cheese stuffed peppers were one of my favorites. I also enjoyed the octopus, the croquettes were really good and the lamb meatballs were really tasty. I finished it off with some churros. They were good, but not the best. I would opt for another dessert over them next time. I would definitely come back to this place. Definitely a lot of places to try in the neighborhood but add this to your list if you're into Spanish food and tapas.

Yelp
Amazing tapas! Highly recommend. Reasonably priced, great service, better ambience. A perfect spot for a night out

Yelp
We stumbled upon this restaurant (thought we were staying at the hotel across the street - turns out there's lots of Hyatts in town - long story) and I'm so glad we did! We sat on a nice outdoor patio and enjoyed the sounds of the outdoor concert down the street. It was Sangria night (red or white options), so we had some nice red Sangria to sip while trying a sampling of the menu. We decided not to get any entrees and instead do things tapas style. We tried to recreate our Northern Spain roadtrip and ordered the croquette, tortilla espanola, calamari, and the albondigas along with a few other dishes. The albondigas were so good that we ordered a second plate of them., Wish we lived in the area - this would be a great date night spot or a place to meet up with friends for drinks and appetizers.

Maddie R.

Yelp
My mom and I stopped by yesterday for a drink and I'm so glad that we did. We sat at the bar which was super cute and the bartender was very friendly. We wanted to grab a bite to eat before dinner time so the small plates were perfect for us. We both ordered white sangria and it was delicious. All of the small plates sounded amazing so it was hard to decide which two we would settle on. We chose the brussel sprouts and the patatas bravas and both were fabulous! Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Raleigh!

Marin J.

Yelp
Food Service Ambiance Drinks All 100% SPECTACULAR. I love tapas. I love good food I love good tapas food. I love good drinks made with imagination and top shelf or equivalent alcohol. Big calories who cares, Make the sin worth it. Hit me with lighting, vibe and happy staff...oh yes...La Ramblas has that in spades. Let me pretend I am in Barcelona and give me La Patatas Bravas and some Iberico ham...I'll close my eyes and dream of Spain. You get that legit feeling when you breeze past the bull outside through the colorfully painted blue tiled entrance. And the feeling is further confirmed by the menu...authentic...and the taste of each item shows they know what they are doing in terms of presenting the balance of flavors for each dish.

Nicole A.

Yelp
We loved everything about Las Ramblas! From the friendly staff to the delicious food, you can't go wrong. Taylor helped us pick out so many great dishes like the croquettes, the brussel sprout salad, and the Chilean Sea Bass. The espresso martini was delish. We sat on the heated porch and it was perfect; however, the inside had more vibrant vibe. It looked like everyone had a great time.

Stephanie J.

Yelp
Las Ramblas has a fantastic selection of Spanish tapas and drinks plus it's trendy! To start my husband ordered a glass of red sangria and I ordered a beer. For the tapas we split the patatas bravas, croquette, stuffed piquillo peppers, albondigas and roasted corn lollipops. All of these selections were good but the must order was the patatas bravas. I also liked the corn so much that I ordered a second serving. I will have to return soon to try more tapas.

Jordan H.

Yelp
Very nice cool place that I took my wife to for dinner while visiting the Raleigh area. The ambiance of the place was very welcoming/romantic in a way. We had to wait almost an hour to get a table but with technology they were just able to text me our table was ready while we were across the street grabbing a drink at a bar. The waitress was very nice and attentive to us and everything came out in a quick time. All of the food and I mean all the food we ordered was Delicious! And it was great since it's tapas everything comes in smaller portions so you are able to order more stuff to try! The drinks were also tasty! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would come back if I'm ever in the Raleigh area again!

Priyanka B.

Yelp
Loved this place and the tapas! My fiance loved the empanadas. They seem to be a popular choice as several other people around us had them as well. I enjoyed the patatas bravas, there was a good balance between the potatoes and the sauce. Also the potato were perfectly crispy. I also enjoyed the salad! We're excited to make this one of our go to places in Raleigh!

Jeff F.

Yelp
This is a really great place to go with a group, or even on date night. The food is excellent! Loved the brussel sprouts!

Andrew F.

Yelp
The lady and I really wanted some variety - you know, small plates. After looking around, we found Las Ramblas and boy am I glad we did. North Hills has its own charm by itself. Already imbued with that, we walk in through the Arabesquely-tiled entry way and step through to see a scene that is both inviting and has an air of cool. The two young people at the front greet us and seat us. And then we meet our guide through this journey, Cooper. And let me tell you, Cooper is an excellent guide. Considering Barcelona herself, major metropolitan cities and Mario in Durham, these were some of the best tapas I've had. The flavors are dialed in and full. With Cooper's help, we landed on these: Pan con Tomate, Ibérico Shaved Jamón, Ensalada Verde, Rainbow Carrots, Pork Belly, Albóndigas, Fried Monkfish, Octopus and Flan for dessert. Paired with More Amor, Alhambra, a glass of Rioja, and an espresso martini. A lot right? We were celebrating. We liked everything we had. Pan con Tomate surprised me with how good it was. Fried Monkish was my favorite followed by the Albóndigas (that lamb was divine). Overall, it was a spiritual experience, not a meal. Cooper, let me tell the people about you. You are kind and helpful, down to Earth and easy to talk to. You know the menu well and give good recommendations. And thank you so much for your gift of chocolate cake to us! You really made the experience that much more pleasant. Friends, let me suggest Las Ramblas to you. It is as lovely and lively as the street it's named for.

Sharon M.

Yelp
First time eating here. Staff was all pleasant and helpful. Food was fabulous--each plate (we ordered tapas) was flavorful but no overly spicy. Lots of unique foods. My favorites were the tabouli (best tabouli I've ever had) and the potatoes (delicate, lightly flavored sauce). We'll be back!

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Y'all go here!! It is divine! We love Spanish Tapas and have looked all over and have finally found it. Not only was the food amazing but the service and drinks were also fabulous! We were there and on a weekday and made a reservation but maybe didn't need it. Hope it gets busier because honestly they should be charging twice the amount for the food! We enjoyed a smoked old fashioned and a beautiful lavender lemonade vodka drink with a fresh flower. The special of the night was a pork shank with buttery couscous and peas that blew our minds! Many thanks to Kayla and Ronalynn for making us feel at home and checking on us! Oh and the Tres Leches cake were so good with a roasted marshmallow icing and espresso, wow!! We'll be back often.

Swany C.

Yelp
You cannot go wrong with coming to eat here. My husband and I went for our 1 yr anniversary and it was the best thing choice! They gave us complimentary champagne. The food was 11/10, the drinks was 11/10 and the service was 12/10. The restaurant is very Spaniard. It is a little crowded but nothing too bad. Would recommend and go back in a heart beat! Everything you eat is AMAZING

Emily L.

Yelp
This place was top notch with amazing flavor and great ambiance. It is tapas style so order a bunch of small plates and dive into the delicious creations. All dishes are unique with amazing flavor pairings. Everything tastes fresh and made in house. I would highly recommend trying this place out because you can't get it anywhere else. Service was perfect as well. Give it a try!

Holly K.

Yelp
AMAZING!!! So excited for this attention to North Hills. I always felt like Raleigh needed a stronger tapas game and Las Ramblas brings it. From the service (Matthew was great and even the manager came by to check in on us), to the decor, this restaurant is really spot on. Our server walked us through the menu and suggest 2-3 plates per person. We started off with the beef carpaccio. I'm not a super big pate person, but besides that the dish was excellent. My husbands favorite dish was the chorizo with bread crumbs. Mine was the beef cheeks- the meat was so tender and flavorful and I loved the accompanying sauce. The red snapper did not disappoint either. The cocktail menu was also interesting and we both enjoyed our drinks. Even the water felt fancy here! The only thing I was looking for, was a more interesting dessert menu. The options were not that intriguing. Overall wonderful food, wonderful service, in a beautiful setting. We will be back!

Dina L.

Yelp
Craving Spanish food ( and I was) you need to come to Las Ramblas. It is lively, vibrant and reminds me that f my time in Madrid. The food is good. Best dish: the fork tender pork cheeks on a bed of mashed potatoes and raw cauliflower slices, the perfect crunch. You'll love the chorizo &chicken empanadas-new to the menu. Flakey crust and lush insides (not too spicy, no worries). I love grilled artichokes and these feature fava beans. Yum. Sadly, the octopus disappointed. But hey, not everything is gonna be perfect the first month. The shop is so cute. You'll love it I did.

Mike B.

Yelp
An outstanding meal at this new tapas spot in North Hills. It's an rectangular room on the corner ground floor of a residential building in North Hills. The bar area features a high tops, bar seating and tables. Plus 2 other sections of tables including an enclosed patio area, which will be fantastic once the warmer weather comes. The open prep kitchen is decorated in colorful Mexican tile. Giant weaved light fixtures with cool Edison bulbs add just the right light. It's a wonderful vibe, even when busy. And this place is hopping! We grabbed early reservations and within an hour every table was full. Pro tip: Make a reservation! Our server, James, did a great job. He helped with recommendations, our orders were accurate and he paced the meal well. Shout out to the manager who was overseeing the service (restaurant hasn't been open very long) to ensure that the wine was served correctly and that glasses were full. THANK YOU! We started with octopus and jamon. The octopus is sauteed with chickpeas and peppers to create an aromatic and hearty sauce. Octopus is tender, not chewy and perfectly accented by the sauce, served over a bed of mashed potatoes. Yum! The shaved jamon iberico is very thin slices of house-cured ham. We know it's house cured because there were several pork loins hanging from hooks in the wine cellar. The meat is salty and a little chewy; as you would have on a charcuterie board. Very good. We went on to the suckling pig. A hunk of crunchy, smoked pig skin is served atop perfectly cooked pork which is fork-tender and shreds as it's cut. It's served with dollops of garlicky green sauce. The crunchy skin and the sauce really highlights the the savory pork. Excellent. Gambas a Ajillo (garlic shrimp) was next. Giant prawns are sauteed in sherry vinegar garlicky buttery sauce. The heads of prawns are removed in the kitchen, but then decoratively replaced on the prawns for service. The whole thing is topped scallions and a few fiery red peppers. When we asked, we got a plate of bread to dip the sauce. This was my favorite dish of the night. We also tried grilled steak. An extremely tender cut of teres major is grilled to medium rare perfection in the kitchen. It's served atop a shallow grill bowl filled with hot charcoal and aromatic wood, still smoking. The presentation is fantastic, and the meat is outstanding. Fork tender, juicy and flavorful with a hint of smoke from the charcoal. After all of that there was STILL room for dessert. We tried the churros; freshly prepared versions of the classic, adorned with cinnamon and sugar and with a cup of dark chocolate sauce for dipping. Also tried chocolate mousse. A scoop of fluffy light mousse, adorned with slivered almonds, shavings of white chocolate and pomegranate. A beautiful creamy texture offset by the crunch of the almonds and the slightly sour pomegranate. Perfect end to an excellent meal. Check this place out - you won't be disappointed. And bring your appetite!

Yelp
Las Ramblas is an intimate tapas restaurant nestled in North Hills Raleigh. The ambiance is super cute and low lit with Spanish tile decor and is totally great for a date night. In Spanish, the name means "the boulevards." If you've never had tapas before, it's basically a bunch of small plates/appetizers for sharing. Below is a breakdown of what we shared as a group of four ladies: - Calamari (reminded me of Cheesecake Factory's calamari, but with a green chimichurri like sauce for dipping) - Patatas bravas (delicious potato dish and the white and orange sauces in the dish were a great compliment) - Octopus (grilled to perfection with a nice smokey taste) - Burrata (who doesn't move burrata?! So creamy w/ lots of textures from fig and pomegranate) - Chorizo (spicy little sausages with sauce and bread crumbs/croutons on top) - Churros (lightly fried and had hints of citrus in dough or chocolate sauce) Overall I would come here again. I liked that we were able to split the check 4 ways and charge each persons drinks individually. My one star dock was for the bathroom being a little unkept and for not having any service (water refills) after we paid our bill. Lastly, I came here with a couple of girlfriends on a Tuesday evening at 8pm with a reservation. It was pretty busy, so I would highly recommend making reservations via Open Table if you are planning a group for 2+ people.

Ashlyn M.

Yelp
The food here is incredible. The burrata is a must have and this one specifically founded my love for burrata. The group was amazing and so was the steak. The service was great and the people are so nice. Will be going back soon!

Susan B.

Yelp
Great food and terrific service. Unfortunately, on my most recent visit, I had to sit on the patio as the standard table section was reserved for a private party. I know it's holiday season, but it was disappointing. They did try to make it up to me and I did get wonderful service.

Dan D.

Yelp
Third time is the charm for Giorgios Hospitality Group in North Hills, NC. First, the meal was *everything* at Las Ramblas; the meal was: adventuresome, flavorful, and well executed. They offer a medium-sized tapas menu with some 'standards' as well as items one might not have seen elsewhere. Taking chances is rewarded here & I recommend your table does. The service was fast, casual, & friendly. The atmosphere is as-expected: very casual, no tablecloths here. One drawback: I do think charging extra for bread with main dishes that clearly warrant bread is poor form. Really? Anyway, worth a try if tapas are your thing.

Hannah P.

Yelp
This spot was really good! I split 4 tapas with a friend: patatas bravas (which are almost always a win for me), croquettas (not my favorite ones I've had), eggplant dip (very different than we expected - smoked flavor with really weird chips to dip into it that I liked and my friend did not), and a pear/beet/ricotta dish (that was by far the best thing and so unexpected for me). So all in all, really unique tapas but I think they could be hit or miss depending on your palate. The total for me was $25 after tip with no drinks so a bit on the more expensive side but I would return for the right occasion.

julia N.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Las Ramblas! Our server, Cooper, was most helpful and ensured that our food was well paced. The food was excellent both in quantity and quantity. The drinks were well made and delicious. We look forward to returning.

Danielle C.

Yelp
The service was fantastic, even with it being so busy. Our waiter was delightful and professional. It was busy that night, it was cozy...and even intimate in some areas. Noise level was average for a Friday night. The food was fabulous! Full of flavor and great to share!

Katy P.

Yelp
UPDATE! They have coffee tres leches!! RUNNN, don't walk! I'm literally returning tomorrow just for it

Vinutha V.

Yelp
place was very crowded on Sat night. We had the reservation and were seated right away. Their menu doesn't have lot of options compared to some of other tapas places around. We tried their patata brava, Shrimp gambas, Eggplant dip and chicken pallella. Everything tasted good except the pallela. It didnt have mu ch flavor. Most of the entries were pretty expensive. They charge $5 for 2 pieces of bread. Drinks were very expensive on an average $15 each. Overall it was a nice place with good food except the price!

Annie P.

Yelp
We went with another couple for dinner We ordered the piaya. Firstly there was hardly any seafood. A few shrimp and two prawns Chorizo was so small and not many Mussels were out of a can and not fresh in shell And there were no clams at all There was a fine lining of rice on the bottom of the pan Then we ordered the chicken empanadas They were tasty, but, small The Brussel sprouts were not fully cooked and not so tasty Drinks were expensive, but, good The best thing were the apple pie empanadas So a few scoops of rice, one shrimp and a half of empanada And two Brussel sprouts with a drink over $100 before tip I'm home now eating again We all left hungry

Ernest C.

Yelp
Great service that was able to get for out in a timely manner. The food was excellent and delicious. I loved the design of the restaurant, it has a vintage and nice painting on the wall.

Ashley F.

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal! Anyone that rates anything less than 5 stars doesn't have taste buds! You won't regret coming here! we got the patatas bravas, octopus, steak, and paella.. we will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Sarah B.

Yelp
We had Kayla as our server and she had fantastic recommendations for food choices! It's a great tapas bar! This place is owned by the same people who own rosewater! They had beautiful tiles all over the wall and a brick oven open to see! I enjoyed it.

Lizzie F.

Yelp
I love a good tapas restaurant and this one did not disappoint Great vibes, delicious cocktails (I got the Por la Gente) and amazing food! Perfect spot to go on a double date - all of the tapas were easily split 4 ways so we each got a taste of everything! My favorites were the Albondigas, goat cheese stuffed peppers, and the short rib plate. Not photographed: we got the churros and they were to die for!

Lindsay M.

Yelp
We were dying to try out this new tapas place since they started building it in north hills. They sat us (party of 3) at a large high top for 6 in a crowded area of the bar. It was very hard to hear. Overall the service was not bad however, they charge you for bread!!! ($3 for two slices). They asked us if we wanted bread to go with the burrata - not sure how else we were supposed to eat burrata. Also, the beef carpaccio is shown with 2 portions on the menu online and it comes with 1 for $7. The patatas bravas and calamari were ok. The gambas were good (spicy) and we loved dipping our $3 bread in the broth. The grilled steak and burrata were very good! Overall, this place is great if you're in the area, but I would recommend Barcelona downtown if you want more of a variety. The noise level where we were sitting was not great and it was hard to hear.

Gil T.

Yelp
We were so excited to hear a Spanish tapas bar from the Giorgio restaurant group was opening up in N Hills. And our first experience was flawless as far as I'm concerned. They nailed the design and layout, from the striking bar to the colorful paint to the details on the table. Everything felt elevated -- tons of little extra touches on every dish and cocktails. Service was friendly and prompt. Now for the food. Every single dish we ordered was a contender for "best dish" of the night (and we ordered six or seven). I appreciated the restraint they exercised on menu items like the jamon and patatas bravas, where quality ingredients and solid technique shine through. And I also enjoyed their creative, picturesque takes on the crispy chicken thighs and stuffed piquillo peppers. When the bill came, I was pleasantly surprised. Not a cheap date by any means, but definitely not a rip-off. For four drinks and a "treat yourself" dinner, I think we clocked in at $120 before tip. We will be back soon. They made the experience feel like a special occasion, and the food was absolutely dynamite.

Nitya K.

Yelp
Really fresh seafood! On a weeknight fairly early around 6pm, it's enjoyable and not too loud. Service was great and cocktails were delicious. We'll be back!

Serena C.

Yelp
Nice staff! Not impressed by the menu and the food was just okay. We had some small plates and shared a full entree but we were surprised by how small the entree was. 4 slices of short rib on a serving of grits with mushrooms and onions...at that price? Almost $40? I'm not one to complain about menu offerings but that seemed a bit ridiculous. There are better options for tapas in Raleigh.

Sonia C.

Yelp
We had a team dinner last week and everything was great. The food was delicious and the service was great. Let's not forgot the drinks :) Amazing drinks! I had an issue with my receipt and the General manager (Hannah) was responsive and went beyond to make things right. I highly recommend Las Ramblas. I plan on arranging many more team dinners.

Malcolm L.

Yelp
We sat at the bar for dinner and drinks. Great lively vibe and the food was delicious. We shared brussel sprouts, Jamon and potatoes - all were tasty with wonderful spices. Drinks were on spot as well. Will go back again!

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere and service was great. Went with a group of 4 total, and ordered several tapas and 2 shareable entrees. I also had a cocktail called the el gente, which tasted great, but the alcohol content seemed low. The salmon was dry, and overcooked, but the short ribs were melt in your mouth delicious, though a little salty for my taste. The grits that were served with the short ribs were divine. Definitely recommend the croquettes, calamari, and patatas bravas. Unfortunately, the shrimp in our gambas al ajillo was overcooked. We also tried the eggplant dip (I didn't enjoy, but everyone else did) and olives. Overall, I would recommend and I will be back to try other dishes, as there are lots more to explore!

Yelp
The service and ambiance were great, but the food was mediocre at best. For a Spanish restaurant, you could only say the dishes were vaguely-Spain inspired. The jamón was not of the best quality, as someone who has been to Spain many times and has close Spanish family members. Would recommend if you want a decent eating spot in North Hills (although I prefer Coquette and Bartaco); would not recommend for genuine Spanish cuisine.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. I made reservations over the phone and later received a text message saying my table was available 30 minutes earlier than we had reserved for so we headed over. We sat down and was not even asked about drinks or anything. Table and table were being filled near us with at least 10 waiters who passed our table. Every new group that was seated after us was immediately served water and asked about drinks- not us though. So husband and I sat quietly for 10-15min thinking maybe our waiter was on break. Waiters took away plates at the table right next to us and still they did not even acknowledge us. After 15 min or so I saw the seating hostess and told her very gently that no one had attended us. She apologized and immediately someone came and brought us waters. At this point my opinion of this restaurant was soured. I thought the food was alright. Their drinks are amazing. When eating tapas, I prefer going to Mateo's in Durham. Their food is delicious and service impeccable.

Yelp
I went with a group of friends--seven of us in total. Everything we ordered was delicious. My favorite of the tapas was the goat cheese stuffed peppers. The mushroom paella was very tasty. The fried lotus chips added a crunchy contrast. They offer a variety of innovative cocktails. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Our server was able to answer our questions.

Yelp
Las Ramblas is a fun experience. Very interesting menu with lots of choices. Perfect for sharing with a small group. They have an innovative drink menu and other beer and wine choices. The space is warm and inviting and the service is fantastic. This is one of my favorite NH restaurants. We will be back soon
