Why Detroit’s Mexican Restaurants Are Starting to Serve Birria - Eater Detroit

"Rocha’s La Terraza also sells birria, but that didn’t happen until he was already in business for several years. [...] The birria came after Rocha relocated to the former Las Brisas space. [...] That included dishes like birria, which at La Terraza is available as a soup, a dinner platter, or in tacos dorados." - Serena Maria Daniels

This place was recommended by our Cuban friends and we are so glad they introduced us to this amazing restaurant. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Food was fresh and hot. Prices are reasonable. Restaurant was clean. Service was also excellent. We were greeted with a warm smile by all the ladies there. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Google
I found a fabulous surprise today for lunch! I walked towards the door expecting Cuban food. I met Jorge inviting me to eat lunch. Jorge is in charge of making sure the food is good. Being that it is Good Friday and I am already forgiven for the extra calories I joined for lunch ! I am glad, the Chicken Mole was outstanding and tasty. The chips, thin and crisp. Heck, the tap water 🌊 tasted good. Enjoy Your lunch or dinner here and you will be pleased.

Google
I went in today for a Cuban sandwich and black beans and rice. The Cuban sandwich was OK. It had the necessary ingredients. But there was no love in that sandwich. The black beans and rice tasted like they were made three days ago with no seasoning. I’m really sorry to write such a sorry review, when it is so simple to make a Cuban sandwich and black beans and rice.

Google
This place is a gem!!! Legit cuban food with non-stop music playing and great service. Turns into a club after 10pm and they have live entertainment. Diana was wonderful and treated us great. The Masitas with fufu de platano were unbelievable and don't get me started on the mojitos. Fantastic!!!

Google
I recently lunch at Cuban Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere transported me to a lively Cuban setting. The décor, infused with warm colors and authentic art, created an inviting backdrop for a wonderful meal.

Google
We were greeted with smiles. Very friendly service. Many items to chose from. I love Cuba food and it was my first time at this restaurant. Their was only three other customers and it took over thirty minutes to get two cuban sandwiches, one salad and a plantain app. Hmm? Please make sure that the cuban sandwiches have pickles and enough mustard on them. My one sandwich had zero pickles. The bread needs to be pressed and this sandwich was not. Please use good fresh bread. Not industrial mass produced bread. The whole pork was very dry and very chunky. Luke warn too. Not hot at all. Please put salad dressing on the side of the house salads. I had none. I hope you correct these issue for your future customers.

Google
Finally!!! A TRULY AUTHENTIC Cuban Bakery in Georgia!! Everything I’ve tried so far has been AMAZING. I can’t get enoughhhhhh!! Great service, delicious food, and good prices. Highly recommended! Honestly, the best Cuban food in Atlanta!

Google
This is a wonderful find for Altanta. The food is very good, and Authentic Cuban Bread! Very happy. You can play dominoes outside, a taste of Miami in our backyard. So happy!

Yelp
Says you close at 2:30am but closes WAY before that. Would be nice to have someone change the time online. Food is good.

Sunnil Y.

Yelp
First thing despite the name, maybe at one point but this is not a Cuban restaurant. Decided to treat the wife to something different for a meal. We were seated during a Wednesday afternoon, very quiet. After observing the menu I soon realized that we are in a Mexican restaurant not Cuban. We were short on time and decided to stay. I ordered the pork chops and she order the chicken quesadilla fajitas. Wish I had took and shared a picture of the menu. However food was great, the service was great also but they were only including us 4 patrons. If you want great Mexican you can add this to your list, but if you are looking for Cuban, look elsewhere.

Yelp
Ladrones ... Thieves They will try to sneak in a service fee at the end of your meal. I was told it was for the 1 styrofoam container I asked for, rip off

Yelp
Went to this location yesterday and ordered a few meals. The pork chunks had no flavor and were so hard I had to throw them away. The yellow rice and black beans had a nice flavor. By the way, I ordered maduros but received the beans instead. The lettuce in the salad were brown when I opened container today. Now I am thinking getting the fettuccine and empanadas was a bad idea but will try one of them for dinner. Sorry, the fettuccine is also bland will throw it away. Also, the food pricing on the online menu is higher versus viewing the one in the restaurant maybe they're trying to change their food in a new direction or have new management? Sorry, I will not go back.

Yelp
Not sure what's going on here. No menu. No longer Cuban. No one inside. We walked in and walked out. Hopefully someone takes notice.

Yelp
Oh wow! I'm so glad we tried this place. Definitely waaayyy better than Papis. There's a bit of a language barrier but you can work through it. Don't let the outside deter you since it's in a corner of a plaza and the outside isn't anything to write home about. The menu is plentiful and all our food turned out great. This is what we ordered below. - Ropa vieja - Stewy beef -Masitas- fried pork chunks served with a masa side. The pork was on the dry side but the masa with pork cracklings were food. - Kid's chirassco steak- A lot of food here from the kids menu - Guava and cheese empanada - the BEST empanada I've ever had. The crust was amazing with a generous amount of guava jam inside the guava had a very nice flavor. - Sangria - filled with lots of fruit in a large glass, $9.99. They apparently have a food truck that sells the empanada under their restaurant name. I highly recommend finding where they will be and check them out. Next time I'm going to try the Cuban sandwich. I bet this would be awesome.

Yelp
Good sandwich. But I Didn't care for server serving me while using phone in other hand. Or that she was eating at table next to mine while working. The food presentation was also poor. I was given string potatoes that i could have got from a box. And the tipping culture is crazy. Auto added 15 percent then you are encouraged to add another 20 percent to new total? What is going on? No thanks.

Yelp
This place has been around for a while and I never knew. It is very easy to miss since it's all the way at end of a strip that is not highly trafficked and not easily visible from the street. Nonetheless, it was discovered. First time I ate something from here, a friend brought some ham croquettes, best I ever had! Their souls were real good too. Came on my own today and got the cuban sandwich. My dad loved it, I thought it was ok. Empanadas were real good though, not a fan of the stuffed potato but has a real delicious bakery. Overall all, it has decent food and it is a clean spot. Only one attendant when I went in. She was not overly welcoming but was sweet when checking out.

Yelp
Tasty bakery with many options. It's located by the game stop and Ups store in the corner. It's very easy to miss. I just found out it's been over here for awhile and I'm so sad I missed out on this place all this time! This is truly a hidden gem. I tried the chicken sandwich on Cuban bread. Let me tell you it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had, full of flavor. I will definitely be back. They do have a wide range of options on their menu. (I posted so take a look) I decided to drop by after a visit to kohl's and it was a great decision cause now I've found my new breakfast/dinner spot. The inside is very spacious with tables to dine in at or you can order inside to take your food to go. It's very clean and nice inside. I'm glad I found you a spot to fulfill your hunger! :)

Yelp
I was under the impression that this place was gonna be a quick service kinda bakery place, but it was a full on restaurant. The restaurant outside looks a little shady, but inside is nice. I think the location is not so good, it was kinda quiet for a Sunday lunch... but our server was really sweet and nice. She had an accent, but she spoke English well. While we were looking at our menu, we were brought Cuban bruschetta I guess is what best describes it. It was a fresh tomato and onion salsa on top of a Cuban crostini. The bread was a little crumbly but good. We ordered the trio empanadas and chose one chicken, one beef and one guava and cheese. It was so delicious! The chicken came with a cilantro garlic sauce and it was amazing! The beef was extra juicy and flavorful. Don't even get me started with the guava and cheese... My favorite! It was creamy, sweet, tart, on the light fried empanada shell. Omg I could eat a billion of these. Definitely recommend it! For my entree, I ordered the Lechon (Pork) Asado. For my sides, I ordered the moros (rice and beans mixed) and the yuca con mojo. This combo was so so good! I love yuca like this! It had mini chicharon pieces sprinkled on top! Oooo top tier so delicious~~ it felt like I was eating in Miami, FL!! If I miss Cuban food, I'm definitely coming back here.

Yelp
Hidden Gem in Lawrenceville for Cuban food and pastries. This place is more a walk up counter where you order and you can take out or sit down. There are plenty of tables and we came with a group of 12. It near the Walmart off Collins Hill, in the shopping center where GameStop is. I had the Ropa Vieja with rice and black beans. We also shared croquettes de jamon, carne empanada (amazing), and a Papa Rellena. Everything came out fast and most is premise but it was delicious and portions were big. I will say a lot of the apps are pulled from the bakery case so they are not hot but warm. Now it was a little crazy with so many people sometimes they couldn't keep up, but they were operating with three people and are just mainly for takeout. It did get very busy around 3pm and there was a line from the register to the front door.

Yelp
We came here on a Friday night for girls night to enjoy some good food and we definitely did!! This place is in the corner near a kohls and a Walmart. The food is really good I ordered Tilapia and for appetizers we got Tostones Rellenos picadillos. There is also a dance floor and DJ!!!!

E E.

Yelp
Delicious! The guava cheese empanadas were so good! Also the grilled chicken on a pile of guacamole!

Yelp
Amazing food. Went on a weekday for lunch. Don't live in this town but I visit often, I will 100% be back. Good service. But the food is phenomenal

Yelp
I am terribly disappointed. I used to come in two to three times a week. I almost always order cuban coffee and croquetas, 1 or 2 sometimes entire flan to go and usually try something new. I almost never order lunch due to my waking up schedule and hours i come visit you. 1 - Yesterday, i came in with a friend and ordered cuban coffee as usual.......before we could finish drinking/enjoying our coffee and catching up with our business......i was asked no less than 6 times if we were having lunch...... we were actually going to but after the 6th request i told my friend we were living and going some other place...... this happened in less than 5 minutes been there. The restaurant was empty so why you rushing customer into anything! We wanted to enjoy our coffee first. 2 - If i go to a mexican restaurant it would be nice if it has a mexican atmosphere.....Brazilian restaurant brazilian atmosphere, cuban restaurant cuban atmosphere.....you get the point? You guys are killing it. Yesterday, There was a condescending attitude and disregard to client friendliness.......the only thing that mattered was if we were ordering lunch or not. After been asked for the 6th time about lunch.....i politely and forcefully declined since it was the 6th reply and then my friend was told by the server: " ohhhhh he is testy today" Thank you for everything.

Yelp
Omg. This place is amazing. The oxtail were cooked to perfection and the guava and cheese empanada was great! The rice was flavorful and it reminds me of home in Hialeah FL!
google avatar

Christa D.

Yelp
Let me start off with the fact that the employees are really friendly and were a big help with going over the many items on the menu. I had a Cuban coffee. It was STRONG! And so tasty! I also had a guava and cheese pastry which came warmed up. It had the most delightful flaky crust you ever can imagine. I will definitely be going back to this place to get a proper meal in the near future.

Karen Evelin C.

Yelp
Loved this place! It was our first time here thanks to yelp! The service was amazing everyone was super friendly and helpful! We ordered the empanadas: beef and chorizo! We feel in love. The breading was amazing soft and flakey. We also ordered the chorizo pizza and the sandwich media noche. Buy were great! We also tried the mango natural juice and the guayaba and queso pastry. Both were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place its worth the trip for the empanadas alone.

Yelp
La terrazas Cuban bakery is definitely a hidden gem of Cuban Cuisine. I ordered 2 empanadas de carne They were delicious. The café con leche is always a good choice in this place and pretty much everything on the bakery display. I give this place a five stars The people behind the counter are amazing as well.

Yelp
I found this bakery from just browsing new spots nearby on Yelp. My dad loves to make Cuban sandwiches so he asked me to go here to pick up Cuban bread. I went in and got two large loaves of Cuban bread for $6. They had loaves sitting in a warmer but they baked fresh ones for us, which I did not expect but was very pleased! I saw that they serve coffee, and couldn't resist. I ordered two cafe con leches for my boyfriend and I. The coffee was so good, tasted just like the coffee in Miami! The employees were very friendly. My boyfriend and I wished we were there to eat because everything just smelled so good and the menu looked yummy! We definitely plan to return to eat sometime. The bread was fresh and tasty! Even after two days it was still good. I'm giving five stars based on the customer service and quality of the bread and coffee. Can't wait to actually eat here.

Yelp
Cute little place. I took a Pan Con Bistec home and it was a real steak in there! Loved it. Might visit here for my birthday, I noticed they had drum sets and a little stage. I cant wait to hear the live music someday.

Yelp
Gross! We had 2 Cuban Sandwiches, we had not been here since early Covid, the prices went up and they were awful. Rather pay $18 for a Cuban Sandwich at Ponce City Market. Will never go back. Yuck!

Maura I.

Yelp
Casi deliciosa. Many restaurantes cubanos don't have flavorful food, or the flavor is there but the food is dry. This food was flavorful and tender. Everything was well seasoned for my delivery order. I'll order again for sure. Enjoyed the oxtail and tostones rellenos (ropa vieja, queso y olivas verdes). I'll take puertorican mofongo over the fufu de plátano but they're similar.

Yelp
The Good: Cuban sandwich was tasty and the tiny little potato sticks they serve with it were good for me. The Bad: We both ordered sandwiches because we originally came for some croquetas, empanadas, taquenos and papa relleno. It was barely noon on a Sunday (they open at 11 AM and close at 8 PM) and they were literally out of everything. There was 1 croqueta left in the case and maybe 2 empanadas but that's about it. How can you run out of everything in your bakery case within an hour of opening on a Sunday, and you have 8 more hours to go?! Also, the Great Value water bottle was a turnoff (any sit down establishment should have filtered tap water imo) and the fact they were out of garlic spread for the sandwiches was the final straw. This place was so promising with all the great reviews and seems like it would be good, but definitely ruined our lunch plans with the lack of anything on the menu. If you're coming for sandwiches or the lunch menu, you should be safe. However, if you're looking for the pastries, might wanna camp out the night before to make sure they still have some left for you.

Jacqui O.

Yelp
We paid $60.00 worth of food and got our to-go order 2 hours after placing it, and we were waiting there for it! We took it home, and the food tasted so bad, it was dry and cold. We will not be returning! It used to be a good place to eat but something has changed, it's not good anymore

Chad M.

Yelp
I was here today and had the worst experience ever. I drove two hours to eat at what I remember being the best Cuban restaurant in Lawrenceville. I'm not sure what happened, but it was far from the place I remembered. We ordered two yuca rellenas, a croqueta preparada (to eat there), and a Cuban sandwich (not toasted) to go. We were there for almost an hour (only one party was already eating when we arrived). The yuca rellenas finally came out (not before the chef and our waitress argued about if it was to go or to eat there), and they were cold on the outside and frozen inside. After I explained, the waitress stated she would let the cook know. I waited longer and decided to go; they tried to tell me, "just a minute longer," and walked away. I paid for the can of soda and left. I hate that I drove this far for nothing. I will never return.

Fabe L.

Yelp
Disgusting!!!! Never again. How this place has so many positive reviews is mind blowing. I'm certain it's favors from either friends, same owners, workers etc. Ordered the "churrasco" . . It was horrible, sides, beans, rice all bland. Only decent thing was the sweet plantains. I kindly expressed my complaints to server and he seemed understanding. Was still charged full price for a plate I didn't eat, literally returned. They're excuse was that "it looked like I ate enough of the meal" cause I mixed my rice and beans together. . Seriously? Smfh. . Took one bite from what they call "churrasco" and returned it right away, meat tasted like it had been boiled to maintain tenderness, then flashed fried to give it life I guess cause it definitely tasted like shit, like the lowest quality meat they could get their hands on. Aside from the attitude I was given at the end, I was accused of being a liar, lady that was sent to my table to explain why they will have to still charge me for the shit they served accused me of not even tasting the meat lmao. . Like I just decided to go into this place to give them a hard time. . Total disrespect, I will never set foot inside this place and will warn and share this link with everyone I can think of. Social media, email, texts you name it.

Thomas M.

Yelp
I give 4 stars for the food quality and the service of the girls but I don't think I will come back again ; like I said the food is not bad but is very expensive I just ate few things bad it costed me more than 50 dollars a croquette 2 dollars a piece? It's quite a lot ; havana restaurants have same or better quality food and it's more affordable; any way good luck in your business.
google avatar

Ariadna R.

Yelp
The BEST Cuban place ever! Enviroment is Amazing, Friendly, kind, pretty awesome costumer service! Now, let me tell you about the menu !!! They give you a lot of optiona which I love! This is not your typical American-Cuban restaurant, this is a legit Cuban bakery where actual Cubans cook & prepare the food. It's real Cuban food! They have the Real Cuban bread(not publix bread) . They even have guarapo, borrachita, tamales and much more!!! I highly recommend this place, you will like it a lot!! Me encantooo!! El servicio es super y la limpieza también !

Yelp
We had a reservation for a table. The tables were also reserved with another party. The service with the waitresses was not good at all. I will never come here again.

Yelp
Authentic Cuban food, great sandwiches, excellent Cuban pastries and everything else. It's just like going to a Cuban restaurant in Miami, feels like being home when we go. Love it
google avatar

Naomi T.

Yelp
I'm giving one star because the black beans were good. I order the chicken and steak meals. They gave me old chicken that they reheated and old steak that was over cook. Obviously they don't care about having repeat customers because they wouldn't give people old tasteless food.
google avatar

Yelp
By far the best Cuban food that I've found in North Ga! I lived in Miami for 15 years and I know Cuban food for sure. Must try Cafe con Leche!!! Yum!This place is amazing! Does not disappoint! Strongly recommend it.
google avatar

Christopher Z.

Yelp
Wow. Legit Cuban restaurant. Great prices, portions, and friendly staff. Reminds me of Miami. Offers true Cuban style coffee. Fresh pressed juices. Sugar cane press and Cuban restaurant style auto orange juicers. Cannot wait to bring the family back. Nice pastry case.
google avatar

Margie K.

Yelp
So far so good! This place has only been open like 3 weeks or so, but I came upon a recommendation of a friend from Miami. Food was good, at least better than most of the Cuban food around here. I did want to try the vaca frita, but they did start to run out of food towards the end of the day and they didn't have it. They mentioned they've had to make multiple trips to Miami for supplies, so it's a good sign. I tried the "Pan con Bistec" (Steak Sandwich) which was good. On the plus side, they had hot and fresh "Pastelitos de guayaba" (Guava inside a flaky butter pastry) which was pretty delicious. Anyway, there's still plenty left to try & taste as this business keeps growing with time, looking forward to it.

Yelp
Really excited to try this place out as I'm definitely missing my favorite Cuban cafe from when I lived in Chicago! All I can say is we were disappointed in this place initially. It's an order then sit down place. We ordered cafe con leche which was delicious and a beef empanada which had good meat but a bit greasy and a diff kind of shell than I was used to but fresh. The sandwiches took 50 minutes to arrive and by the time they arrived almost everyone in the restaurant except those that just came in had received their food. We tried asking about our food previously but they didn't seem to understand or some didn't speak English. By the time we got our sandwiches we got two of the same. We ordered a steak and a Cuban but got two steak. Mother was frustrated and didn't want to wait any longer. So we ate the sandwiches which were cold. They weren't bad tasting but they didn't taste like much. The steak was so thin you couldn't taste the meat. The lady who was in charge of our order we figured out was new and she kept apologizing after. She ended up giving us a free Cuban sandwich due to the situation to go. I took a quick bite before leaving since it was hot and I wanted to see how it tasted. It was very tasty/delicious! Hence the rating as well as the fact that she apologized and try to redeem the situation. She also made us another cafe con leche to go. Having personally worked in the restaurant industry as a server for years I absolutely know what it feels like to be new and even with years of experience mistakes happen. I'm glad they tried to reach out to us to make up for it. I'd say I really liked the Cubano and coffee here. So we'll most likely be back to try other things, but I do find it a bit pricey 8.99 for a sandwich especially the steak which had the thinnest piece of beef I've ever had.
google avatar

Will S.

Yelp
Had a Cuban sandwich which was delicioussss. I also had a papa rellena and 2 croquetas which were good but kinda cold. They need to be kept in a hot lamp box to keep them fresh. Quality and taste of the Cuban Sandwich has gone down. It really kills me when places with so much potential start cutting corners for profit. When I tell you over the past 8 months I've visited at least 20 times im not even close to kidding. But my patronage has come to an end I'm sad to say.

Nancy V.

Yelp
The appetizers we ordered were very good : the plantains and tostones with the green sauce were outstanding . Now the entrees- took forever - the presentation is nothing to look forward to . My entree in particular was not good . I ordered quarter chicken with rice and salad . The chicken was not hot . It was lukewarm and tasted like it was made 2 days old . It was not sizzling like normal chicken that was made the day of . I was disappointed . The portions are rather big so sharing might be an option ?
google avatar

Craig L.

Yelp
Great spot. My photographer said he worked in Miami for years and this Cuban sandwich was better than many he had down there. They could serve more fries for you. If you like Cuban sandwiches, this is a great spot!

Yelp
I wish I could give less and this is based purely on the service , why based purely on service of a to go order , cause no idea what the food tastes like due to the service. Simple order Cuban sandwich. First arrive to a 3/4 empty place and sit at the bar , 8 minutes later approached by a lady who whispers I assume why will you have , I asked for a menu but by the look of confusion I am either the first to ever do so or she heard explain gravity to me in Russian. I finally placed an order a Cuban sandwich ( being from south florida this is a 4 minute make ) . Twenty minutes later no sandwich , lots of chit chat between the two girls but I truly believe first day for everyone. Finally 10 minutes later my cold sandwich arrives ready to go , then we stare at one another and she says "pay please" I asked can you please get me a bill . Well that was a big mistake as the bill never materialized, side note the DoorDash driver who showed up and asked about his food, that order hadn't been started yet . Maybe the food is to die for sadly I will never know and probably a lot of people in the restaurant won't . Make your life easy stick to papis .

Yelp
What an awesome service and how delicious the food was at this restaurant. Talk about authentic Cuban food. The best in GA.
google avatar

Alberto C.

Yelp
Happened on 25Feb20 @ 1224. I didn't even get to eat. I was literally one of three people I ordered a breakfast menu item and server said breakfast was off of the menu. I then ordered a lunch menu and the server told me they were out of that. I had enough and didn't care to find out the actual quality or taste of the food. The experience was a huge turnoff.

Yelp
The Cuban food it's so good and really the same to the country , dealing with customers is wonderful I go frequently and I always come out pleased

Yelp
This is authentic Cuban food. So good!!! Going back today!! Best Cuban spot in GA since we left Miami

Marlene R.

Yelp
Best Cuban food ever. I moved from miami to Georgia. If you want delicious food and great prices The staff is very nice and friendly. The pan con bistec (steak sandwich) is heaven. The chef marinated he meat to perfection. The croquetas are crispy and melt in your mouth. We ordered yuca Frita crunchy deliciousness with the perfect garlic cilantro sauce We ordered extra to go. Definitely will be back soon. Ham Croquettes

Yelp
I go eat to this restaurant every couple of weeks or so because I like Cuban food. The food was always good. I never had an issue until I started ordering take outs. Three weeks ago, surprisingly, my masitas de puerco had a lot of pieces of skin and chicharrones, which is not what you would expect from this dish. The tamal tasted good but did not have any real meat inside, it was just a piece of fat. We did not make a big deal out of it and did not report it to the restaurant. However, what happened yesterday with my takeout was a different story. I ordered vaca frita and ropa vieja. When I brought them home, my husband and I were struck by a strange smell the meat had. We had eaten these dishes before many times. We had vaca frita en Las Terrazas just last weekend and it was great, but yesterday, it was disgusting. It smelled weird, the texture and taste were unusual. It did not look, smell or tasted like beef at all. My husband who is Cuban, concluded it tasted more like birria (goat) or a horse meat because of this weird sweet after-taste. If I lived closer, I would haver returned the food. Instead, we threw all the food away. We really hope it was just an unfortunate choice of condiments of a new cook and not a meat from a different animal. I do not like writing bad reviews but nobody picked up the phone and nobody answered my message on Messenger, even though there is a message they responde within an hour. The truth is, from now on, I am never ordering a take out there again. I might return to the restaurant, but I will eat everything at the table, just in case. I recommend you to do the same. NO TAKE OUTS!

Janet H.

Yelp
Service at the counter was great...so sweet. I'd read the Cuban sandwiches could be hit or miss and the ones we tried today were a giant MISS. I grew up in south Florida and am searching for a good Cuban sandwich in the area. Unfortunately, these will not be on our list to buy again. They tasted like maybe they were made yesterday, didn't sell by close and were then just warmed up for us this morning. The bread tasted old, the meat and cheese inside was not even warm all the way through9cold in the center) & the pork was dry. I so wanted to love this place for Cuban sandwiches...oh, well.

Yelp
Stopped in to get some guava pastries - ended up with all of that and more! Flan, coconut cake, pollo asada dinner with yuca and maduros and rice/beans and the cafe con leche! Will definitely come back - the puffed pastries are so light and buttery and a steal at $1.50!
