Las Vegas Brewing Company just recently opened a second location in the Arts District. I have not been to their main brewery on Tenaya yet.
My parents and I took my niece and her fiancé down to the Arts District, who are in town and they haven't experienced it yet. You can find Las Vegas Brewing Company on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Colorado. It's a small taproom with limited seating, so just be aware of this if you plan to visit them.
They have a pretty wide range of food and beer items to choose from. I got the Flyin' Hawaiian cider, my parents both got the Nitro Chantilly cream ale, my niece got the Saucerful of Secrets sour, and her fiancé got the Snow-Bro Cold IPA. We also shared a thing of beer cheese fondue, featuring pretzels, and another light snack dish that had pretzels, carrots, jalapeños, and various types of meats. I wish I remembered the name of it.
I'm a fan of ciders and the Flyin' Hawaiian was on the very fruity side, reminded me of a day in paradise. The Nitro Chantilly cream ale had a kaleidoscope of different brown-like colors, starting with the dark on the bottom and gradually getting lighter on top, which I thought was pretty. The Saucerful of Sours and the Snow-Bro Cold were light beers that my niece and her fiancé enjoyed. I loved the beer cheese fondue, too! It was very cheesy and it paired perfectly with the pretzels.
I enjoyed the ambiance here and the restrooms were very clean, too. Service was friendly and attentive and our food came out in a prompt, quick manner. This is a nice hangout spot if you want to get away from the main road for a while.
