"This place has a couple locations in South Florida—but don’t go out of your way for any of them. The croquetas are a bit small and limp, and the vaca frita isn’t very crispy. It’s a big, roomy restaurant with friendly service, and decent Cuban food—perhaps good for a last minute group dinner. But you can find better Cuban restaurants in Miami." - Virginia Otazo

Google
We had a large group about 20 of us for a farewell for one of our employees. Service was absolutely great. Both of the food was good. I had the tamale with roast pork. Tamale was very dry also the pork. It’s your typical Cuban cuisine. Lots of space for private dining for large parties.

Google
Very good! Came highly recommended and will definitely make sure I go back my next trip to Miami! The lamb I got was not on the menu but was so tender and the sauce/juice it was in was out of this world! Might be the best lamb I have ever had. Again I cannot say enough good things about this place. Please check it out for yourself. If you by some chance are not completely satisfied I do apologize as that would not be characteristic of what this place delivered tonight.

Google
Maybe was the day. But the food was not the best. We have a Vaca Frita and was not flavored at all. Thanks to the Sal and pepper. The paella was fantastic.

Mariann Garcia

Google
Miri and the manager were absolutely attentive to our needs! The drinks and food are amazing as always!

Google
This establishment is well located and easy to access. The lobby is inviting and host was cordial. The atmosphere shows its charm. The food was served in a timely matter plus well presented. Taste was excellent. If you’re a vine fan they also have a well variety of selection at competitive prices. If you’re looking for great food and valuable experience this is the place to go.

Google
Good but could be better. Good sizes of dishes but Mahi Mahi was bit dry and the Milanesa Steak breaded over cook

Google
Amazing service and atmosphere at this wonderful diner. It was my honor to attend today annual toy drive from Casemiro Global Foundation and get to experiance a teste of the delicious Cuban cuisine. In addition thank you so much to all the waiters for their help and being so kind really made the visit such a memorable experience 😊

Google
The food is average, and the service is good but not outstanding. Good atmosphere with room for plenty improvement. The music is kind of loud as all Latin restaurants, still, you can hear yourself and your partner when talking. The flan was delicious, was the only good plate. The price is expensive and be prepared for the obligation of a tip. Yes, it is an obligation now, regardless of how you are treated or served. Will not come back

Yelp
My food, margarita, and the free garlic bread was delicious. I was disappointed that it took 30 mins to be acknowledged by a waitor though. 2 parties were seated after us and attended to before us. I had to wave down a staff member to finally make them aware. My husband and I received a rushed apology and excuses for the neglect. When we finally got our food it was very good, but the above mentioned experience really put a damper on our day.

Yelp
Great location wow huge with that Cuban smell of delicious food ! Great croquetas man no modern penko crumb croquets here traditional soft ham ones old school. Huge perfect cuban sandwich with the slice seasoned pork old school cuban sandwich perfect! We also ordered a pan con lechón huge juicy perfection wow I mean good prices too. Mojo of course for the mariquitas . Cafe con lecheee! My favorite and materva for the drink . Cuban perfection. Great decor and good food presentation complete with cuban flags on their sandwiches love it. Service good nice girl at the bar she was friendly and attentive. A must staple in South Flo!

Kimberly P.

Yelp
My coworkers took me here for lunch for my birthday. We love coming here for group meals. The food is good and the service is fast, accommodating, and friendly.

Raquel P.

Yelp
I give it 4 stars not so much because of the food but the service. Service was friendly, professional and efficient. The restaurant was clean and beautiful. The chicken soup was good, the bread tasty. The stuffed potato (papa rellena) is a meal in itself ! The chicken fillet was good, the rice could have been fresher and the red beans maybe thicker and not so seasoned. Thanks will return !

Cassie L.

Yelp
This place is awful! Placed an order for pickup through UberEats. Took twice as long as expected. When the order was finally brought out, it was still missing the shakes! Had to wait another 10 minutes! The restaurant wasn't even full so that was the wrong excuse to use. Never again!

Diana E.

Yelp
It had been hit and miss but I gave it another chance. Surprisingly good I had oxtail and it is one of the best I had in a while it had a kick but not spicy.

Jose D.

Yelp
Food was very good the portions of the food was ok compared to other Cuban restaurants we were a party of 16 people and some of my friends other pan con bistec it was big and some of the plates was delicious. The service was fast and very helpful The bar was very poor on liquor and they only have bottles beer no draft beer The price of the food was ok for the kind of Cuban restaurants . I will recommend and come back for the vaca frita de pollo Thanks

Melynda H.

Yelp
The food was soaked in oil. The AC was not working. Terrible. Only great thing was the service: very polite and timely.

Claudia C.

Yelp
I ordered Masas de Puerco with arroz blanco frijoles negros & Maduros. The food was average and the most upsetting part is the portion size. For $16 with taxes I was expecting much more pork chunks. The rice and beans had good flavor which is just about the only thing that was good. Years ago I remember eating here and the quality and quantity being pretty good. Definitely won't be coming back here again. If you're gonna charge more than other restaurants, at least match the portion size. I could have gone to El Rinconcito Latino and gotten way more food for a much better price.

Olga L.

Yelp
We ordered palomilla steak with white rice, black beans and maduros. We picked it up in 10 minutes and it was cold, the black beans were horrible, the onions on top of the steak were fermented. Won't go back.

Maria M.

Yelp
Good food and good service We tried the valenciana wasn't that good but the ox tail is great

Tracy M.

Yelp
We ate here for dinner and really enjoyed it. We had the plantain chips for an appetizer and they were delicious! Husband ordered lamb chops & mixed vegetables. I ordered the shredded pork w/ yucca, rice & beans. All were wonderful. Probably should have asked the price of the "special" as it was a surprising $40 plate! THEY added in gratuity **check your bill** which was odd. We prob would have left a better tip, but that's ok.

Orlando P.

Yelp
Been going here for quite some time and love it! Great authentic Cuban food. I should know because I'm Cuban. The waitresses and waiters have been great and are always checking back if I need anything else. Nice location in Doral too.

Ellie D.

Yelp
Fabulous food and wonderful service. The portions were surprisingly large and I was happy to take the rest of my lunch home and have it again for dinner. The only disappointment was the Tres Leches. It wasn't the best I had and I honestly expected better as everything else I ordered was out of this world. For an appetizer I got the Croquetas (breaded ham paste) and my request to have the cilantro sauce with it was fulfilled. I ordered the Lechón Asado (roast pork) from the lunch menu and instead of having rice, beans, and plantains as the standard sides I opted to choose my own (the menu said if you did this you could only have two sides). I chose the Yuca (cassava root boiled, topped with onions and mojo sauce) -- phenomenal, I could eat this for days -- and the black beans -- subpar... I didn't pack up the leftovers of that one. The waitress asked if I liked rice and I said yes so I also got that on the side as well which surprised me. I was under the impression that I'd only have two sides because I selected my own instead of getting the standard three. The rice was also really, really good. Finally, I felt the pricing was very good for what you got. I paid $20 (not including tip) and it ended up being my lunch and dinner because of the generous portion sizes. YAAAAY! Now, could I have finished it all in one sitting? Probably, but I would've been stuffed. I was happy to stop eating when I felt content and that allowed me to enjoy the meal again when I finished the leftovers for my dinner. I'd love to go back and try some new dishes!

Sam S.

Yelp
Was looking for an authentic Cuban Sandwich on my first visit to Miami. The restaurant looks kinda like a Cheesecake Factory which is a compliment. We were seated immediately which I appreciate. At first I was concerned that I was under dressed. Got the Yuca Fritters with cilantro house sauce as an appetizer. It was very good. The Cuban sandwich came with a side of fried plantain chips. The sandwich wasn't the best that I've ever had but was ok. Big portions. Some of the staff doesn't speak English. Overall, we enjoyed our experience.

Aldrich T.

Yelp
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. No long waits, very spacious and the Cuban food best I have had.

Toni M.

Yelp
Excellent service. Food was very delicious and authentic. Came all the way from Los Angeles...Would definitely go back!

Chanin G.

Yelp
We were disappointed to stop for a Cuban lunch and have no Cuban coffee. We were told they were out and that they were very busy. It seemed they were just understaffed maybe. But the food redeemed our disappointment when it arrived. Two of us had pork dishes that we loved. The fried plantains were super good...fried just right in my opinion. The waittress never came back to fill our tiny water glasses or check on us, but we didn't push it. We enjoyed our food and the latin background music and left it at that. Based on the food flavor, we would go back and hope for better service the next time.

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
We went at lunch and had Rabo Encendido. It was very tasty and good. Service was excellent. Would recommend!

Rick I.

Yelp
I had white fish and my wife had the chicken fillet. It comes with three sides and the food was excellent.

Beymar P.

Yelp
You can never go wrong with coming here, food is delicious and prices are great for what you get unlike other restaurants. The food here is always fresh when it comes out and just melts in your mouth when you take a bite each time. The Churrasco is mouthwatering and deliciously good. Ropa Vieja is another amazing dish that they serve here and so delicious too. Basically the whole menu is a must try. Don't sleep on Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine or you missing out!

Mary M.

Yelp
Hmmmm.... Not sure what went wrong here. I'd say the best thing here was the rice and beans. I ordered the lobster and shrimp fish and thank god I asked for no sauce, otherwise it would have been smothered. Skirt steak was decent but it was not grilled and under cooked for my husband. Both my husband and my son ordered the skirt steak. Visiting Doral for the week and didn't want to drive into Little Havana but I guess that is now in order. Nothing tasted bad... just not great. We had made reservations at 7:45PM on a Saturday night and about 40% of the tables were full. Service however was great.

Anamaria M.

Yelp
OK, this is it! I'm done with this place. They NEVER, EVER, EVER get the order correct, eat-in, delivery, pick/up... I always must talk to a Manager because the employees cannot substitute the rice for salad (warning: and their training class definitely didn't include Customer Service, so you are in for a treat!). I've been working at Doral for the past 12 years and is always the same. Even my office cancelled the catering service, because there was always something wrong with it., food, qty, price, service, hour, date... Is sad because the food is actually pretty good... but the service is horrendous and does not make up for it! I think that out of approx. 30 orders... I've gotten 2-3 correct w/out errors; and believe me, I've tried them in many different occasions.

Patty L.

Yelp
This place is just the best in oxtail, oh my goodness! I ordered this dish every time my husband& I are in Doral, the taste, tenderness& quality is just superb My husband always orders vaca frita also very delicious plate, the reason for my 4 stars is quantity for a very expensive dish plus service is bad, but it is what it is

Laura C.

Yelp
We were a large group and went for a family lunch. Our server was great even though the restaurant was short staffed. We ordered some appetizers, tamales, croquettes, empanadas and all were great. We also ordered some mojitos and they were delicious! Everyone ordered their entree and all looked good. I had the vaca frita with rice and plantains. It was very tasty. I'd definitely recommend this place for everyone!

Andrea F.

Yelp
Location: Located just off the turnpike. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated and wheelchair accessible. There is accessible parking in front and no stairs to enter. The bathrooms are wheelchair accessible as well. Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine has many chains throughout Miami-Dade & Broward county but this one is far superior. The restaurant is big, can hold large gatherings & the decor is nice. Food: The food was amazing - authentic & delicious. Fresh cuban bread was brought to us right away as we looked over the menu. We selected Chicken Soup and Fried Chicken Cullet (pictured). Staff: The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of our waitress. She was just not personable & didn't seem happy. She didn't smile or make eye contact. We had about 1/2 our food left on our plates but she thought we were done and picked up our plate. We had to tell her that we will take the food to go. We all have our bad days so we didn't let it affect our meal but it would have been nice if the service matched the great food we were eating. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for great cuban food in a nice environment.

Keith C.

Yelp
Visited the restaurant during a recent trip to Miami area with a group of nine people. Service was crisp and professional. The restaurant was very clean and orderly. The menu was traditional cuban. Everyone ordered different entrees from the menu and bar. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. I had the empanadas as an appetizer and Ropa Vieja as an entree. Both were very good. Rated both 4.5 out of 5

Teri H.

Yelp
Rented the back room for family dinner. Ordered everything from mixed appetizer plates to dessert. Most of the food was a total miss, as were the desserts and the beverages. Avoid: sangria, and mojitos. Stick to Coke Zero or the Cuba Libre. The croquetas and mini yuca was good, as were the mariquitas- the tamales were pretty bad (flavorless despite the incredible amount of color). The vaca frita was edible-- but lacked flavor. The ox tail was extraordinarily greasy (yes, we know it's a greasy plate- but shouldn't have solid circles of grease floating in plate). Fish crusted with mariquitas was extremely dry. The caldo gallego was good, avocado salad also good. The flan and crème brûlée looked like it was radioactive of how strong the color was in both desserts. Even the kids left their steak sandwiches.

Katherine S.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with about 6 of my coworkers. We had to park in the nearby garage since parking is pretty limited along the street. The area is also under a bit of construction. Upon arriving, we were greeted at the door and theres plenty of seating. We usually expect a longer wait time, but our food came out very quickly. I ordered the Chicken and Rice and the rice was seasoned well, but the chicken was not anything great. Didn't taste seasoned at all. The portion is enough for two people if you are looking to share a meal. Only issue we had was they wouldn't let us split the checks even just three ways. All in all, the lunch prices are reasonable and the service is very attentive.

Dennis N.

Yelp
Ate there a couple days ago. Good enough for second go. Affordable. Ended up with a 1/3 inch piece of metal in the second half of my Cuban sandwich. Never had that happen before. Really thankful my teeth hit it and I didn't swallow that. Could have been disastrous. Hope they fix whatever they're doing wrong. Floors were really bad when we were there in person. Food was fine though.

Yuko H.

Yelp
Came here for late lunch with a group of 9 people, everyone spoke Spanish fluently except me. When we walked in, staff started talking to me in Spanish. I just guessed what she was saying based on the context and she took us to a table large enough to accommodate 10. Their lunch menu is such a great deal! Each day of the week, they list five different dishes for average $10. I just asked the person sitting in front of me to order something as I didn't know what they are. I got to taste pork, chicken and beef. Pork was very juicy. Chicken went good with onions. Beef steak was very flavorful. I also tried red rice (mix of rice and bean, it has a name but I don't remember). I really liked this rice so much, I though I could just eat rice and bean and be happy. I got to taste both crunchy and sweet plantains. Both are equally good. Some sort of yucca dish was very good. We shared several appetizers, chips looking dish with green garlic dipping sauce was quite tasty. Cuban tamal tasted similar to Mexican tamal I am used to eat and all were very good. Cortadito helped me stay awake in the afternoon after eating so much food. In our group, we had some Cuban descendants and they said all good. If they said good, this place must be authentic! Thank you everyone at my table for letting me sample so many different dishes. I still can't pick my favorite as everything I had was very good. All I know is I love me some Cuban food.

Mirta L.

Yelp
I reserved the private room for a late lunch to celebrate my son's First Communion. After some confusion, thinking my reservation was made at the Downtown Doral location, I was promised the Salon de los Vinos which would be good for my group of just under 30 people. Miriam, the owner's daughter was very accommodating and allowed me to come early to set up some decorations and bring the cake. Once we arrived, we needed to add some additional seats but it was done quickly and smoothly. Our party plan included house made sangria which was very good. The food was delicious. We had mariquitas as a starter which were so yummy. All four entrees in the party plan I choose were a hit with all the guests (pollo a la plancha, fish fillet, palomilla steak or pork chunks). Each one delicious according to every single one of my guests (including my children who love the fish, rice and beans aate all their food!) The service was magnificent. Our waiters were Rodrigo and Jeanette. They were incredibly attentive, very helpful and really made us feel so welcome and comfortable - I had nothing to worry about. We were not rushed at all and were able to stay a while after we were done with our meal and dessert. If you are looking for a private room/restaurant where you can enjoy excellent Cuban food and magnificent service, consider this Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine location. I was very happy and grateful for the wonderful experience!

Brad N.

Yelp
It was a quiet Wednesday night, but the food was authentic and tasty - great Ropa Vieja. The staff were attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're looking for reasonably priced Cuban fare in the area!

Douglas A.

Yelp
The place says they close at 10pm, but they didn't take me (table for one), because according to gentleman who spoke with me, they had a busy day. He admit they close at 10, but they were too busy and had to clean the place. I walked in at 9:15. All I wanted was a quick bite and head out.

Shawn W.

Yelp
Very good food, service, clean, and the ambiance was very nice. Waiters and Waitress were very professional. The lunch specials are excellent.

Cesar A.

Yelp
Price gauging Covid Time ! I just placed an order for 2 plates of oxtail stew / rabo encendido, and when i passed he card hey charged me 22,95 each ! Total 50 dollars including tax ! Normally the price is $ 16,95 , I order there all the time, I felt taken advantage of ! For the future I suggest that you ask the price when ordering, I understand they need to make up for the loss business, but they shouldn't do that to loyal customers, I wont be coming back or ordering ever again ! And to make things worse, no silverwear or cuban bread was included in the bag

Julia D.

Yelp
Let me preface this by saying everyone else food looked better than mine. I think I might have picked the wrong menu item. I got the media noche sandwich. And in the past when I've ordered this it has come a nice firm sweet bread. This time the entire sandwich was soggy and the bread was not so dulche (sweet). If you're stopping by I'd recommend one of the dishes instead. The beef and onions looked really good. Overall I'd definitely give it another shot.

Neil C.

Yelp
This is my go-to for traditional Cuban food. It's not the cheapest, but they do offer lunch and daily specials if you come earlier in the day. Vaca Frita is my favorite Cuban dish. Vaca Frita is fried beef that is also shredded and has a great texture of crisp outside yet moist inside. What I like is that Las Vegas grills their vaca frita instead of frying it. It's better for you because it's not as oily. This location, in particular, looks a lot nicer than the other ones I've seen. It looks more classy and not like a Denny's. They also play live music here on certain days. The service is excellent. Waiters are attentive and refill your beverage as needed. They are all very polite and professional.

Jermaine H.

Yelp
Service was friendly. Food was ok...my pork sandwich was just bread with shredded pork and was dry. Not sure if this is what it was supposed to be like but it was, "meh". We had the garlic shrimp, which my daughter liked but the palomilla steak was overcooked and tough. Wife had the oxtail which was just ok. We were hungry, so all was devoured but since I haven't had Cuban food before, I wasn't knocked over. May try again but I hope it's different next time.

Marcus G.

Yelp
These guys provide a good if not great meal for a really good price. The cuban cuisine isn't one we were real familiar with, but it was really good. The best part though was the staff. We were greeted and seated immediately when we walked in. The server was essentially invisible unless we were needing or wanting something, in which case she was right there it seemed as soon as we thought about something. At one point she was getting ready to take an order at the next table and all I did was make eye contact. She kept taking their order while noting our request too. She got a nearly 50% tip. Worth every penny of it. We're going back Sunday night before we head home.

Randi M.

Yelp
I stayed at a hotel down the street the night before I flew back home. I've eaten at other LV Cuban locations and the food was great. I liked the QRC code for the menu. My only issue was I felt the waiter was getting much too close to us when he kneeled down and then leaned over to speak to us. I know he was wearing a mask, I just felt uncomfortable. My chimichurri chicken was tender and flavorful. No issues with the food.

Michael D.

Yelp
I went today to pick up catering order for 11am 12/19/2023 and the order was place 12/18/23. They could not find the order then scrambled to get it ready once they realized the mistake. I simply asked for a refund or some sort or reimbusement for the mistae and inconvenience of having to wait until 12:30PM and to speak to the manager as my coworkers had already eaten by that time. The manager, A short fair skinned latin woman who refused to give me her name, wears glasses, black hair, possibly 130 pounds +-, refused to give me any respite for the mistake they caused, she followed me out of the building and cursing me out in spanish and told me to man up for not taking the food even though it was not my money. She was extremely unprofessional as she should not even be managing. It was a 150$ order for our christmas party and unfortunately Las Vegas Cuisine was not able to attend our needs or even give us a proper refund or discount for the mistake that they made. Food needs seasoning too from my experience in the past, rice and beans is the only worth eating there.

Ward D.

Yelp
This is close to the turnpike. There is parking to the side and behind the restaurant. You enter to a very luxurious restaurant and a hostess counter in the foyer. We were seated quickly. It seems a large space with lots of tables in a very pretty cuban motif. The waiter came and offered suggestion and took our order. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I ordered a media noche with plantain chips. The sandwich was excellent. We only ordered water but our water glasses were filled at least 3 times in the time we were there. The restaurant was clean and well kept. The staff was well dressed and professional. The cost of the meal was reasonable for the excellent food and service.

Angelo M.

Yelp
Where is management in this place. Walked during lunch time and first the hostess doesn't bother asking who was first on the line. Than he takes me to a table out in the back. I sat there and waited 15 minutes for someone to come take my order. Finally I gave up and left. Incredible.

Arcadio H.

Yelp

Gabriel T.

Yelp
The food is delicious and server are friendly, I feel like home coming here 3 or 4 times a month for the lunch specials which are super good and right priced. Normally I just go to the bar so I don't have to wait to be sit. Mojitos are good and they have a few mid-level wines, no decanters or specific wine glasses though...

Lyndenise B.

Yelp
Came by with my family after driving 16 hours from NC after Hurricane Irma. There were very limited places open because of the electricity issue, but thankfully after a week away, we found Las Vegas and it was open! We had some of the chicken soup, grilled shrimp and rice, and churrasco. Overall, everything was delicious and just what we needed after a long and tiring trip. We also had some mojitos which were also pretty good. The missing star is for service. Although our waiter was really nice, he was all over the place. It would take it a while to come back to us and to get the check that took like 30 minutes. We were just ready to pay and finish the last 20 minute drive home. Overall, a great place with good food. I look forward to visiting again.

Russ U.

Yelp
First let me say that this is the first time I have eaten Cuban food. Saying that I loved this restaurant. Our waitress was very helpfully in helping us to choose dishes that we would like since had never eaten Cuban food. We started with fried green plantains with their house mojo. It was very good. For dinner I had Zarzuela de Mariscos. This was a seafood combo including lobster, clams, mussels, scallops, shrimp, and fish fillet in a green source. It was as good a dish as I have ever eaten. My wife had a Palomilla steak. She thought it was good but nothing to crow about. It is the reason I could not give 5 stars. I would highly recommend Las Vegas to anyone who likes Cuban food.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
My coworkers and I went to Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine for lunch since it had recently opened in Doral. In my opinion - it's nothing special. Luckily, there was plenty of space to accommodate our party of 15, but the service was slow and the food was rather dry. I had ordered the Vaca Frita, which was seemed to lack flavor or vitality - in a sense that it was rather dry and not savory. However, I don't have much to compare it to since I don't eat Cuban food often. So, in that sense, it was still filling and different from what I usually eat. Overall - the meal was just cut and dry - simply served like food on a plate and the service was eh. I will try again and see if I have a better experience!
