Dr. Paul was incredibly kind and attentive during my visit. He took the time to listen carefully to all my concerns, explained everything clearly, and answered all my questions with patience and empathy. He made me feel reassured and encouraged, which truly made a difference for me. I am very grateful for his professionalism, compassion, and the genuine care he showed. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to the Las Vegas Neurology Center for many years for various problems. Dr. Mahajan is my doctor who is one of the best in his field. I went yesterday for a NCS and EMG. The wait was a little longer than I liked for my appointment ( but was later explained the reason). The tech Edgar who did my testing was great and very knowledgeable. I was then seen by Dr. Janda for the follow up testing. He was fantastic and I highly recommend him also. All in all everything went smooth and would recommend this institution.

I was pleasantly surprised at my visit to this office due to the negative reviews here on Yelp.. I was called on time, seen quickly, and really enjoyed Dr. Balziger. He was knowledgeable, intelligent, engaging, and warm. I was there for an hour and had some tests. Overall, wonderful friendly office. I Highly recommend this Neurological center.

My mom had an appointment here today and the provider she met with was Dr. Harris. Suite # 201 gets a Five-Star Review from my mom and I!!! I can honestly say this visit surpassed every expectation. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, respected, and in great hands. This office sets a new standard for patient-centered neurology care.The appointment scheduling and front desk experience was warm and welcoming. The moment I walked in, the front desk staff (Jonetta) greeted me with a genuine smile and a calm, friendly demeanor. It immediately put me at ease. The check-in process was smooth and organized. They had my mom’s information ready and explained what to expect. The scheduling was flexible and the reminders were timely, and they were accommodating especially since my mom missed her first appointment and I needed to have my mom’s appointment rescheduled and (Jonetta) was so very helpful with getting my mom rescheduled for another appointment. She’s very passionate and actually cares about the patients and really goes above and beyond to make sure that patients are taken care of.

First visit with De Janda. He made me feel comfortable during the evaluation process. Asking questions while evaluating my condition. At the end determined some tests needed to be completed to identify any issues. Before he left the room again, he asked if I had any questions.

As new patients we were delighted to get a next-day appointment. The online intake "paperwork" was so easy! We met with Jennifer, the nurse practitioner, who did the initial exam and history. Very thorough and personal. Dr M was great! He explained what tests were needed in order to baseline my husband's condition. We easily walked to another office for the lab tests and went home to wait for our radiology appointment to be made by the office. So impressed with the efficiency and organization of this office!

I visited Las Vegas Neurology Center on December 16th 2025. After my referral was received I was able to get an appointment with Iris Malig, APRN and Dr. Paul H. Janda, Esq., Wharton MBA, FAAN, within a couple of days. Both Dr Janda and APRN Iris Malig were thorough and great listeners. I have seen another APRN over a a year prior at Las Vegas Neurology Center, so it had been a while. I have Myasthenia Gravis, and they had been well informed of my history before entering the room with me. They asked all the right questions, and listened to my concerns on everything from medication effectiveness to frequency of visits and everything in-between. They immediately looking into my IVIG treatments and ordered/scheduled new tests/labs. They were very active and responsive to all aspects of my care, treatments and plan. Im very happy with everything form start of scheduling, re-establishing care and the full experiences of the medical team working with me, rather than merely talking at me.

I had a complicated appointment to schedule and change and Roxy was very patient and kind with me. She took the necessary time to make sure all was straightened out. When finished there were several people in line behind me but she made sure I was completely setup. She was excellent and kept a smile the whole time. Thank you Rozy

I can't say enough about Dr. Jay Mahajan and the staff at Wellness Way, Las Vegas. From check-in to checkout, everyone was compassionate and attentive. For the first time in 6 years of nonstop migraines (and with a seizure history), I felt truly heard and understood. The relief after just my first visit was incredible, and I left with a thoughtful plan that addresses both finding the "why" and treating the symptoms along the way. Whether or not we pinpoint the exact cause, I finally feel hopeful and supported. Thank you, Dr. Mahajan and team!

I have been trying for over two weeks to get a prescription refilled and have had no replies back. This is the most unprofessional medical group I have ever experienced as well as the worst self. After leaving phone messages, text messages and trying to navigate the worst online self service I have ever experience, I am giving up on this medical group and going to ask my primary to give me a new referral. My orignal Neurologist was let go per issues about incorrect diagnosis for Parkinson's and the new doctor diagnosed Essential Tremors and prescribed medication. The medication worked but no refills listed so been going around in circles trying to get a renewed prescription to no avail.

I've been here quite a few times with my mother to see her neurologist (Dr. Vickers) and I would say the experience is ok. Dr. Vickers and her staff are excellent. I can tell that Dr. Vickers cares about her patients and she really does take the time to make sure you understand your results and proceed with whatever treatment you need. I love how personal and caring her and her staff are, especially since my mom is definitely one of those people who need a tender touch and soft explanations. This office is also huge but really clean and stark looking. Which I appreciate as I think it's cleaner this way. The less tchotchkes and paintings on the wall, the less dust. The office location though I will say is just ok. It's a busy place so parking can get hectic. There are three very slow elevators that service both buildings (I see that people who park in the back don't want to walk to the front of the building next door so they take these elevators to level 3 where the skyway to cross into the other building is.) This elevator bank is also located where the check-in desk and the bathrooms are so it can get a bit congested. Every time we've come in, we've never gone back to see the doctor on time. We always use up an extra hour or two (three this last time) waiting to be seen. I get there are circumstances and that the reasons I like the doctor so much is that she sits and answers questions but when your appointment is at 9am and you don't get to the back until 11am, repeatedly, that's an issue. The people at the check-in/check-out counters are nice but extremely unprofessional. Once, while checking out, the person helping us literally left in the middle of scheduling the next appointment to get a cupcake. I'm serious. This actually happened. I was shocked. I'm just used to them speaking really loudly of dates/man problems/unruly children/gossiping about co-workers. Which is fine, I work in kitchens, I've heard and said worse but to be so blazon, as to grab a cupcake while helping a patient, and not care that much was a lot.

The staff is great but the wait times are getting progressively worse. Last few appointments included wait time of 45 to 60 minutes (not including exam room wait times. Please fix your scheduling process.

I found this practice to be exemplary. This practice appears to be very very busy, crowded waiting room, and I expected to be there the entire morning. Much to My surprise, I was called rather quickly. I read some of these reviews here for Yelp and my response is "What practice are you talking about? I met with DR. BALSIGER. He was engaging, warm, and friendly. He spent an inordinate amou t of time with me..which was so appreciated. The entire office, quite busy, was wonderful. Again, I disagree with some of these reviews. There are not many Neurology offices here in Las Vegas, so choose wisely. I am thrilled to have found this practice. Thank you Dr. BALSIGER and Samara. Worst experience ever. My PCP recommended this office. They reached out to me last night and asked if I could come in today from an appointment. Parking is a nightmare (good luck with that). Arrived on time at 1:30p. My appointment was scheduled for 1:45p. At 3p - I asked the nurse how much longer. She didn't have an answer. I left. What a waste of my time and energy. Zero stars. Do not recommend.

So I made a appointment with this company at 830am and followed the procedure on checking in online before arriving at 820 as instructed by the text When I arrived I was first charged money But then after 30 mins of waiting I noticed that the receptionist kept calling other people with later times appointments Including 2 people that were scheduled at 845 and 1 person was taken in early for his 915 appointment When I asked the lady replied Oh it's not your turn yet You still have people ahead of you Which makes you wonder why make a appointment if it's not gonna be honored This company literally just charged me for nothing I also must add last time I was here I had to wait for a whole hour Total shitshow Insurance should not work with this place They take your Money and that's it

I came here in 2019. Prior to coming in, the office called me and rescheduled my appointment FOUR TIMES. I came in 20 minutes ahead of my appointment on the scheduled day and many people who came in after me got called in to see the doctor before me. When I went up to the receptionist to ask what was going on, she told me I got the appointment time wrong and it wasn't for another hour and a half and that I would have to wait. I WAS IRATE. I told her I had been called FOUR TIMES, and the appointment time was what I had been told to come in at THE FOURTH TIME. I got my co-pay back and left. I am desperate for a neurologist now and am looking at the reviews and I am stunned, SIX YEARS LATER, they have still not trained their staff and ignore peoples needs when they have life threatening issues. WHAT A DISASTER.

We had some issues getting the right meds for my daughter, we finally talked to Bobby which was extremely helpful. He was able to get everything figured out in just a few minutes and got us on the right track. Thank you for the help.

This office has poor office management. Their staff that take in patients seem to be indifferent to the needs and pain of their patients. Some are outright rude and indifferent to the elderly that are waiting. The doctors and neurologists are probably top notch and work at various hospitals in the Las Vegas area. As for the staff here they should be retrained for customer first satisfaction and care.

I have to acknowledge Michelle today. Michelle is in the billing department and she took her time to explain to me why I haven't been able to be seen due to COB. I think that's what it is. I've had an out of network insurance and they were unable to bill my insurance. She patiently helped me understand what was going on and even sat with me while contacting my medical insurance carrier to clear up the issue. She was professional and compassionate. She showed empathy the whole time and was very kind . She even brought Liz who is front desk manager to help me with setting up an appointment. I am very grateful for this facility who has helped me through my recovery. They have all shown they care about the people that come through the doors of place. Thank you Michelle. -Mr.Love

Currently sitting in the office for a follow up appointment, it's been 45 minutes since my scheduled appointment and I have yet to be called. I asked the front desk what's going on & I was told I am next yet it's been another 15 minutes. People have come and gone. Unacceptable

I have never in my life experienced such blatant disregard and incompetence in a doctors office. It's frightening to know that my personal experience with the office staff is probably someone else's story too, because it's borderline dangerous. Dr Mahajan ordered a brain MRI in April of 2024. It was never performed. After 17 calls to their office over the course of 5 months to try to figure out why, I never received a solid answer. First it was my insurances fault, then they sent the wrong paperwork...TWICE. After that,they ghosted me. Couldn't tell me what was going on, were they working on it, etc. Nothing. Out of those 17 calls, they returned my call 3 times. 3 out of 17. I am a prior stroke patient. I'm exhibiting symptoms again of being at risk, hence the MRI order. However, here I am - March 2025 - and still nothing. 11 months. I can't even begin to describe how unacceptable this is. If I felt that I had legal repercussions to take, I'd do it in a heartbeat. This blatant disregard of patients has to stop, and those responsible need to lose their jobs. Period. There is no excuse. Eventually, their ignorance is going to be behind someone's loss of life.

The worst clinic I've ever been to. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. On December 5th 2024, I went to my first appointment. I think Dr. Janda saw me for 2 minutes -- and that's being generous. Then he left me with his assistants. They told me they would call me to schedule the Botox treatment for my facial spasm, and that they'd let me know once it was approved by the insurance. In January, I called them because I never heard back. They told me it was approved, but that a nurse practitioner could do the procedure. I said no -- I wanted the doctor to do it. They told me in that case, I'd have to wait until February 14 -- ANOTHER MONTH! I scheduled for February, and when I showed up to the appointment, they said the nurse practitioner was going to apply the Botox. I told the front desk I had specifically waited a month for the doctor, and they told me he wasn't there. Long story short: my face was disfigured from the spasm, so I agreed to let the nurse practitioner do it -- and they completely messed up my face! I called multiple times, and they took no responsibility. I had to continue dealing with my issue, but now worse -- my face was numb. Don't go there. They're unprofessional, they don't own up to their mistakes, and the doctor? Nowhere to be found. Thanks for reading my message -- I hope this helps you avoid making the same mistake I did. Review of Las Vegas Neurology Center Visit Details I attended my first appointment on September 4th. From check-in through the consultation, the physicians and front-office staff were warm, professional, and attentive. What Went Well * The neurologists took time to listen and explain my condition clearly. * Every staff member I met in person greeted me with genuine care. * The facility was clean, modern, and well-organized, which helped put me at ease on what can be an anxious day. Opportunity for Improvement On September 5th, I received a follow-up call to schedule additional testing. When I asked for the specific test name to note it down, the team member became noticeably frustrated and raised her voice. I understand how busy a neurology practice can be, but patients facing medical concerns need patience and empathy. * A calmer tone and willingness to guide patients through paperwork details would make follow-up calls less stressful. * A quick checklist of common tests sent via text or email might minimize confusion and reduce call-center pressure. Overall Recommendation Las Vegas Neurology Center delivers excellent in-person care and expertise. I hope the team's phone-based communication can mirror the compassion shown during my visit. With a little more understanding of follow-up calls, this center could offer a truly consistent, patient-first experience.

This is an absolute mess of an office, if people weren't desperate to recieve help this office probably wouldn't even exist, and rightfully so. You can never get ahold of anyone here, no matter which line or ext., if you leave a voicemail, they will not call you back and even talking to them in person is difficult to get information out of them. The front desk team absolutely sucks at their job and is completely useless, I always see them messing around with each other and playing with sticky notes, absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL. Dont bother being early to your appointment because you will still be waiting 1+ hour to even be brought back and once you do get brought back, you will still be waiting another hour for Dr to enter the room. I see Dr. Campbell, he is a wonderful doctor who actually listens, however I wish I could say the same about the staff around him, I was previously seeing Dr Balsiger, or should I say his assistant because apparently you only see Dr once before you get tossed onto useless ASSISTANTS. There's a major lack of urgency or speed here, authorization takes forever here, my mother has been waiting for almost 2 years her for botox meanwhile I got on it within a couple of months and we have to keep constantly calling in about it (if you can even get ahold of anyone) just to have them pick it up again because they will "forget" and leave you to suffer. I ABSOLUTELY do NOT recommend this place if you are in search for a neurology clinic, im sure there's other better places than here, I only recommend Dr Campbell by himself but it's honestly not worth all the effort that you have to deal with when it comes to everything else and all the other problems this place has.

I can say Dr. Mahajon is an excellent doctor and deserves the recognition of being one of Vegas's top 20 doctors! He is caring and straight forward. However the follow up on test results or speaking to the back office for meds or what they call pain management is extremely difficult. We have tried to get an appointment earlier than January due to my husband's pain and to no avail. We haven't gotten results from past testing done (MRI's) and blood work. Anytime we call we get voicemail and it takes long to get return calls. I've never experienced a doctors office like this. They should get more help if they are so backlogged.

Being a senior citizen in my 70s, and a registered nurse, it is heartbreaking to see what medical care has become in this country. I am a proponent of Medicare for all. That being said, we must go to certain offices for specialties when we have a health condition that requires attention. This review is of our very first experience with Las Vegas Neurology Center. My husband had a stroke in January and we realized that because our current neurologist was leaving the practice, we need to sign up with another office. Well, he was in intensive care in the UMC for several weeks and in the intermediate care unit at UMC for several weeks and saw many physicians of different specialties. Now that he is in rehabilitation, we got an appointment so that he can have a regular neurologist for follow ups. I am old enough to recall physicians who would come to your home, or spend a lot of time discussing a problem with every single patient they see. In the spirit of acceptance of the current business of medical care, I offer this on several observations that we made today. The great thing is there is a large parking lot behind the building and there is a wide driveway for my husband's medical van to come and drop him off at the lobby of 2020 Wellness Way. The practice is on the third floor very easy to find. The people at the front desk were very helpful for our 9 o'clock appointment. It seemed like as soon as one person left the desk the staff member was attentive to the next person immediately. There are six stations at the front desk. It's busy. The people and the appointments seem to move along smoothly and we were called in pretty much on time. It was about 9:05. We were escorted to an exam room for Dr. Mahajan. The medical assistant, Taylor, who assisted us was wonderful, answered our questions, and she was very knowledgeable and kind. We waited for a bit until Dr. Mahajan and his historian April came into the room to speak with us. It was not very long. You can hear from the exam room when the doors is closed at the office is extremely busy. We had a basic neurological evaluation so that Dr. Mahajan could develop an initial plan of treatment. Because my husband is recuperating very well in a rehabilitation at Saint Joseph's, he has made strides so that he can look forward to walking independently soon and being able to eat regular food and leave the feeding tube behind. The medical assistant followed up with a test on an iPad for my husband, so that further evaluation could be made. We were given prescriptions for laboratory work and were told that the diagnostic testing which was being recommended would be scheduled and we were given a choice of where to go based on our residence location. We were in the office for the better part of an hour. Checkout was easy because of course the office had sent us a text message in advance to do the early check-in and provide all of our details, including my husband's ID and insurance information. This office does accept Medicare about which we are happy. We also have signed up for a Medigap policy with Mutual Of Omaha so as to cover expenses that are not necessarily covered by Medicare. I mentioned this because this review and my review, which I am writing about Saint Joseph's transitional rehabilitation Hospital across the street from UMC includes reference to being a Medicare recipient. I feel that having an individual with a wheelchair, come into an office and have the ease of mobility with the space in the hallways, and the exam room was very positive. It was much easier than I expected. On the subject of reviews that address, how busy and offices and how communication can often be problematic in terms of returning calls and can see that people get dissatisfied with the running of a large office, as a registered nurse I do see the transition from the old days of medical practice to the modern business model. Ever since we moved to Las Vegas, any specialty visit is always initiated with an interview with a specialist and then follow up appointments with the physician assistant or nurse practitioner. I am a huge fan of phyician assistants and nurse practitioners who have a good deal of education and have caring hearts. I have seen them both perform so well in the clinical area when caring for my elderly mother overtime. It is to be expected that when a popular specialist has to see multiple patients every day that the delegation of care is going to occur. Since the first time, Dr Mahajan and his staff have seen us through multiple diagnostics and we enjoy working with this team so much! My husband and I have always been able to forge a positive relationship with our caregivers and we enjoy the respect and the love we receive from his current nursing facility. More to come later on my review for them.

Incompetent staff AND NP Jennifer Walsh and really INCOMPETENT Dr. Charles KAMEN!! I was given paperwork to bring to my lab for genetic testing for Huntington's Chorea. I stressed No Family History. The lab said no lab codes and INVALID note. I tried to get JASMINE, Dr. Kamen's yet another INCOMPETENT PA, to fax over the order ASAP and that I would hold for confirmation. 20+ minutes went by. Called waiting a long time for someone to answer. I asked to speak to Jasmine and explained. I left a voice message. Waited and waited at the lab. No c/b. Luckily, another doctor had legit lab orders that got done. I waited an extra HOUR AND A HALF, still not able to get a hold of someone to Just DO THEIR JOB!!! I told my lab to forget about that test altogether! I have seen a very bland NP, Jennifer Walsh, who NEVER made follow-up appointments NOR did she seemed like she gave a damn!! NO continuity of care, a nasty 2 minute visit to a QUACK who wrote down on a piece of electronic paper that I have Huntington's Chorea W/O anything to back it up! The Lab tech told me that this a diagnosis, not a lab order!! BOTTOM LINE: Medical "Professionals" which they are not, As Well As the STAFF are THE WORST I have EVER encountered!! Not to mention I had to take Lyft and spend a pretty penny to go Across town, and for what?! Waste of time and Money! If you care about yourself, DO NOT E_V_E_R go to Las Vegas Neurology Center!! I give the -1 rating! I'm confused why this "practice" is still open!!

I am a caregiver and this is probably the worst communication out of all the doctors office that I have called has out of all of my patients. Wait time is also horrible. They also schedule you and change your appointment last minute. I finally got a new neurologist for my patient but having them fax over, her medical records to the new neurologist has been a pain. I have been trying to contact them via text, email , phone call , voicemail since September 18th and they still have not fax them over to her new neurologist. I do not recommend this place. Also you can't get an appointment until next year or six months down the line. It's truly ridiculous, I do not recommend. Go to CNS on flamingo or Cleveland clinic if you can. Communication is so much better there!

Decide on your own is all I can say . I met Dr. Balsinger on my first appointment he was extremely nice and polite. That visit lasted around five minutes and I never saw him again. I continued to go for a full year to get my injection for my neck pain. There is no one to blame I should have left that clinic a lot sooner.

while the initial visit was helpful, tests were ordered, I am waiting 6 months to get the results. To be fair, I had a appt scheduled but due to a medical emergency in my family, I had to reschedule, with 6 weeks lead time. only to be told I would have to wait 5 months for the PA to tell me my results. Not the doctor, the PA. Considering the results of my mri, this is hugely inhumane and bordering on medical malpractice. If you can't see a patient, don't take new patients.

This is my second review of this place. After taking TWO MRI's and recommended a CT Scan, I still do not know why I am having pain and tingling in my left arm! It seems like it's just a way to bill my insurance now. I was recommended to go to physical therapy - ok, but WHAT is the reason I'm having this pain and tingling in my arm? What is physical therapy going to do if they don't even know what the problem is? The entire thing is so bizarre! After taking tests at my original appointment, I still have no conclusion about my problem. I took a cognitive test that was 20 minutes long - I still don't know the results. Who tells you to take a test and then doesn't tell you results? What is this? They told me I needed a CT Scan - I made the appointment then cancelled it after I found out they inject you with iodine that might cause cancer! I really hope this pain doesn't turn into something that is going to affect my heart or other vital organs. There is a REASON I'm having this pain! But, there's no reason to not find out WHY after all these appointments.

The office staff is horrible here. It takes forever to get an appointment. I got in back in June and the Dr put in an order for trigger point injections. I did not receive a call until the end of September for the injections. I got in right away for that and when I saw the Nurse doing the injections she said her schedule is wide open and didn't understand why it took 3 months to get me scheduled. The day they called to set the appointment for the injections, I called back and left a message for someone to call me. Two days later when I came in for the injection appointment, I told Jessica at the front desk I was still waiting for a call back. I asked to speak to the dr and Jessica said he was in clinic and was not able to talk to me. This was said without even trying to reach out to the dr. I told them I was still waiting for a call from his department and I was told that they would send a message to them to call me. Three weeks later and still no call. I'm very disappointed with this location and will be looking for a new neurologist. The staff here is horrible and it takes them forever to get things done. You would think a place like this would be more efficient. This location has a revolving door, they over book so your appointment will not happen at the scheduled time, you will be waiting and waiting to be called back. You have to be here on time but then you have to wait and wait. If you're late they want to charge you and reschedule??? How is this fair? It's not but it's the horrible medical care we have in this town. They all seem to be the same based on reviews. I saw the NP and told him all about this and he said he would check into it. Well, it's now two weeks since I've seen him, he said he would put a referral in to see a neurosurgeon for my neck and a prescription for a medication. As of today, two weeks after the visit, still no paperwork has been done. I call yesterday and was transferred to Andrew Volin's assistant's voicemail. Veronica's vm says if you don't get a call back in 24 to call her manager. I did this morning and got a vm. I left a message and agin no call back. If you decide to use this place I wish you luck. Oh, you will not receive a response because I don't believe anyone here reads the reviews. UPDATE: 11/2/23 - First off I stand corrected, they do read Yelp reviews, they just don't respond online which is fine as long as the concerns get addressed. Yesterday I had the pleasure of having a conversation with Katie the new Back Office Manager. We discussed all my concerns and what still needed to be done. So far, I'm happy to say Katie understands my concerns and is doing everything she can to help resolve the issues. Her Supervisor gave her a copy of my initial review to discuss my concerns which explains why I did not get a call. This is a huge clinic with a lot of staff which means they have a lot of patients. The staff are humans, things happen but to find someone who truly cares is very refreshing. Katie's Supervisor does care but there are only so many hours in the day to get back to people. I have a refreshed feeling about this office but will be changing who I see there for my care. Thank you Katie for who you are and I appreciate all you are doing for me and I'm hopeful others will be helped as well.

The reason for only 3 stars is a two part story. The providers that I have interacted with Dr Mahajan, Peter NP, Dr Campbell, and Wayne NP or PA....all have been absolutely amazing and wonderful. They have helped me tremendously and I'm so grateful to have them as my care team. They deserve 5 stars hands down. On the other hand, the front office staff is the complete opposite. They have made going there to get my care tremendously difficult from getting my name wrong the subsequently my date of birth despite having a copy of my ID resulting a a major delay of care, to me showing up for appointments on more than one occasion to find out my provider wasn't even there that day and not being called to reschedule. Appointments that I waited months for. The list goes on and on. Now they have a system to where there are no phones for a live person to answer so no rescheduling appointments or getting through to your providers because no matter how many messages you leave no one ever calls you back. For this reason I give zero stars.

I love how efficient the entire practice was. My check in was smooth. My wait time in the lobby was almost no existent. Bernadette came in the room less than 5 mins of me being in the room and addressed all of my concerns and issues. Dr. Mahajan did the same and they both were warm, attentive, and had great bedside manners. The front desk staff were all equally nice and friendly.

Well after waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes in the waiting area for my wife's appointment was irritating. Getting told 45 minutes after the appointment should have started it will be soon without any reason why. My wife was told if we were not here 15 minutes early she would lose her appointment, but leave the patient in the lurch for over a hour is okay by this doctors office.

To be fair, Dr. Mahajan is a very nice doctor and might know what he's doing. And his medical assistant was kind and helpful. However, the other staff is TERRIBLE!!! Super rude, snotty, condescending, unhelpful....just plain jerks. I would never ever go back. When I went to another neurologist with the list of tests Dr. Mahajan wanted to run, they were shocked. Because my nerve diagnosis and treatment had been been steady (with my doctor from another state) for over 10 years, and I had received regular testing over that time with no change, the other neurologist could not understand why Dr. Mahajan wanted to do all these tests. Well, I know the answer. All these tests would have been done at the Las Vegas Neurology Center facility. In other word....MONEY. Rude staff, waiting months for an appointment, and unnecessary tests? NOPE. I do not recommend this place, and I will never go back.

Dr.Campbell was highly recommended and I sure would like to have seen him, however, the people in charge of appointment settings are horrible. After being hung up on and transferred incorrectly twice...dealing with someone who doesn't even know what CIGNA is I never even got to make the appointment. I called this morning and after 30 minutes of the run around maybe that's my sign to keep traveling back to California for my neurological appointments since I have someone great there! It took me days to get the correct information for the doctor to call this morning and have a negative experience. I don't even want to waste my time and deal with his staff in person!

I saw someone on 6/12/2024. The visit was fine. I got a prescription and was told someone would get in touch with me regarding botox injections for my migraines. It is now 07/18/2024. I have no prescription because my pharmacy had questions and no one returned the pharmacy's call. The pharmacy canceled the prescription. I called the office many, many times over the next few weeks. You can only leave messages. No one calls me back. Nothing gets done. No one has called me to schedule botox. I put up a detailed review on Google reviews and the neurology center replied saying to call this different extension. I did call and still no one replied. Just awful!!

What a shame what our medical profession has turned into. Not sure which screwed it up worse, the insurance industry or Obama. Had an appointment with this office on August 5th.They were suppose to call the prescription in the doctor wanted me to take. After 13 days no prescription has been called in. I called a little after 8AM this morning and by 3PM no returned call! I called again this afternoon and after waiting in queue for more than 20 minutes, an employee answered. I explained why I was calling and the problems I have had getting the prescription filled and the lack of a returned call. She said she would transfer me to someone who could fill the prescription but instead hung up on me. Needless to say I will not be returning to this office EVER!

This is by far The most unprofessional Dr's and office I have been too. Dr is texting while you're talking to yourself and next appt will be in a year. So my health issue will have to wait a year. So.much for caring for patient medical issues.

Why is it ever okay for a doctor (neurologist) to look at you and tell you and tell you to lose weight, and then we can re-evaluate? I'm so pissed RN. How the hell did you get through med school without reading charts or charting yourself or hell having humility or empathy for your patients. My current weight has nothing at all to do with the stroke i had 4 years ago. Get off your judgmental high- horse. Do I need to lose weight, yes. Am I in the process? Yes. Beware. Don't go here if you are working on yourself because you will feel like trash on your way out. Shame on you Dr. Janda, NP Iris- ALL I can say is run you were awesome

I've been a patient for a few years and realize a lot of these complaints about prescription refills were somewhat valid but they have really changed their system and greatly improving that end of services! Yay! Amy & Bobby kudos to you for being exceptionally helpful and going above and beyond to keep things running smoothly and so sweet and respectful to work with. Thanks a MILLION!!! 5 stars

I have been with two different loved ones who saw Dr Mahajan and another who saw Dr Balsiger and both times we also saw Andrew Colin the useless nurse-practitioner, once we saw Sharlene Jeffers. Disappointed in all of them and do not recommend my experiences to anyone. This practice is very very busy and the 'bros' running it don't care about you unless you have something interesting going on and if you don't, off to Andy-the-useless you go. Waste of time to see him or to try and get a prescription renewal from him or anyone in the office. Sharlene was defensive and never followed up. There is zero continuity of care and zero follow up after a devastating diagnosis. DO NOT GO HERE. GO TO CNS(Clinical Neurology Specialists) instead. Much better personalized care.

I originally had Dr. Kamen as 4 star review but after this last few months, it is a 1. He is no longer a headache specialist and somehow after 2 rescheduled appointments by his office, they failed to tell me and couldn't figure out why I was there for an appointment. Duh, people. Don't you have it in your records? They kept me sitting in the room for 45 minutes while they tried to figure out THEIR error then tried to blame me that I made an appointment with him. I could hear everything through the the walls between the doctor and his staff. Believe me, I would make an appointment with a monkey if it meant getting the competent and compassionate care I need. I couldn't even get my prescription refilled or a call back from his office. Unbelievable.

Office staff and Practice Manager are Demonic. 4 months after scans they ordered, I was unable to get appointment for explanation of results. I sent a letter to my Doctor but it was RETURNED ‼ Call from MA Mid-April said she'd "do me a favor" and get me an appointment. But FIRST I HAD to go to Google and write, RUBY IS THE BEST! I reported this to office manager and she said Ruby followed the rules. Began screaming! I left that practice! Called practice and asked for Medical Records. Got my records sent to me and my primary. DO NOT GO HERE!

If you have an appointment with this office,plan on being there several hours,doctors have no concept or respect for patients time.

Doctors & nurse staff are fantastic. But don't expect to speak to them often. Trying to call this office is a full time job. Even trying to contact someone in this office as an established patient is the most difficult thing I've ever had to do. I've called 5 times and each time I've been put on hold only to be sent to voicemail then never receive a call back.

Can't get ahold of them to schedule an appointment. They need more administrative help as it is a pain to try to get in here.

I was admitted to Centennial Hills Hospital after a CT scan was performed for what looked like a stroke. Several more CT Scans and MRIs later Dr. Zaugg told me I didn't have a stroke but that I have a cyst on my brain and that I had to have a brain biopsy to find out what type it was. He stated that he was going to release me because they had given me aspirin but that I needed to come back three days later and he will perform the biopsy. Obviously I was very shaken by the news that I had an unknown brain tumor so I called a good friend that is a nurse and she asked me if he performed any other tests (spinal tap, various specific blood tests that check for Cancer markers, etc.) to rule out other diseases before he decided that the only option was to cut my head open. I said no and she told me to leave the hospital immediately and go to UCLA Medical Center. So, I took her advice and drove all the way to UCLA. I am still extremely shocked at how negligent he was. All he wanted to do was get $$$$ for a big brain surgery. Well guess what... I did not have a brain tumor at all and according to UCLA any real neurologist would have looked at my scans and suspected MS and then performed a spinal tap to confirm. In the end UCLA was right I had MS and all of my scans and symptoms pointed directly to it. So don't let Dr. Zaugg cut holes in your head until you get a second opinion. PS they are STILL trying to send me to collections for $53.49 which I recently paid back in March on my credit card (I have statements and receipts), it's now May, get your billing department fixed and stop threatening me. You're lucky I'm not suing you for medical malpractice and distress.

Wow this is the worst dr office to call 3 years in a row and still can't do there job waist of our time, So thank you for being the most worthless office staff who ever lived!!!!

This office is everything that is wrong with Nevada health care. You can call for days and never get through. My husband was in the hospital and his nurse was trying to get him an appointment & she couldn't even get through. Once you do (by some miracle) get ahold of someone, it takes MONTHS to get an appointment. Last year I had an MRI in May and got in to go over the results in August. Honestly, my migraines were gone by then. This last week my husband was supposed to see Dr. Balsiger (who we really do like if it weren't for his staff & the fact that you will never actually see him after initial visit) & instead saw one of his PA's that really didn't understand (nor care to understand) any of our concerns. He sent in a prescription that needed more info in order to be covered by insurance and of course he has yet to respond to insurance or pharmacy after 8 days. A lot of good a prescription will do when you can't actually get it filled because the doctor doesn't care to respond. On top of all that, the assistant to the PA was EXTREMELY RUDE & talks over you when you are asking questions. She seems to have a point to prove- she's in charge and it doesn't matter what you need. Definitely a bummer that such a great doctor has such a terrible staff.

Doctors are very impersonal. Difficult to get follow up appointments. Said they would call me for a follow up because the office was CLOSED by the time the doctor finish with me. My appointment was at 3:00 and I didn't get to the exam room Until 5 and didn't see the doctor until after 6:00. Every appointment I've had, I have had at least a 2 hour wait with no apology. Miscommunication abounds.

The worst I have ever experienced. Referrals department is incompetent. My appointment with the Neurologist was the 14th. I was given a list of appointments I had to schedule with other specialists, knowing how long it is to wait for appointments I got on it fast as I am hurting. I was told the referral was At Steinberg for a series of tests and X-ray, have waited over 3 weeks to learn the referral failed to go through and now I have to get a peer to peer referra. appointment is tomorrow and the referral department has conveniently decided not to call. I had other appointments lined up and I live outside of Vegas. this happened last time with this company. The Office is run like a puppy mill. very unprofessional. I am taking my business elsewhere , probably out of state I have plans to carry this further and lodge complaints with the medical board.

Rather than file a complaint to the BBB or my insurance company, I thought it wiser to go directly to the consumer. The girls who work there don't care. They're just there for the paycheck. The place is a treadmill for the sick or infirmed. You're just a name and number. Dr. Kamen's care quality was a nightmare. He is young, cocky, arrogant, and rude. He kept my waiting for 45 minutes, and didn't bother to apologize. When I mentioned it to him, he just ignored me. It was my first time, and he didn't bother to introduce himself. He is cold and clinical, and I really dislike him. What a waste of my time and yours if you go there. Please do yourself a favor, and find a different Neurologist and a different office like I did. I have a great doctor now.

They do t know how to answer calls and don't know how to return them in a reasonable time. There systems really poor and management/supervisor need to get there shit together, been trying for about 5 months to reschedule a appointment that they change and with no luck, the Dr. Staff is on point but scheduling, and I guess the front office needs to get this issue fixed.
