"Las Viñas Barbeque is a consistent favorite for all things pork. The building has a precarious parking situation—so careful backing out—but it’s worth any traffic-induced stress. They specialize in all varieties of Cuban barbecue pork, and also have great sides. Let’s start with the lechon. They roast the whole hog and you can ask for any cut you want (if they’re not sold out). It's cooked with a house mojo and perfectly tender. Whatever you get, add an order of barrigada, which is basically roasted pork belly cut into bites of pure bliss. And while chicharron is technically fried, you should get it here. The big chunks of pork are crisp and chopped up to order. Add some plantain chips too, which are fried daily and come in big bags you can devour on the way home as a reward for not hitting anyone in the parking lot." - yuliet llanes

I love this place, food is great and they serve plenty full amounts of it. Prices are very reasonable service is good and friendly. Authentic cuban food and flavors great selection overall highly recommended. Always go and get food for my whole family.

This is one of the most disappointing restaurants I’ve been to in a while. I’ve lived in South Florida my whole life and this is by far the worst Cuban food I’ve ever had. The place looks authentic and the food looks like it’s going to taste great, but don’t be fooled. I expected a lot better food being in Hialeah. When you first walk in, there’s a case of a bunch of items. It looks like they multiple types of grilled meats. Since it’s Cuban, they have lots of pork options. They also have rice, plantain, salad, etc. It’s quintessential Cuban stuff. However, there is zero pricing anywhere. The way you order is by standing next to the case and picking out food but they don’t have an actual menu for the items in the cases. Behind the counter, there’s a menu with sandwiches, steak, etc. but ordering is chaotic. There isn’t a definitive line or way to order. They kind of throw food into a container and charge you at the end. I don’t expect the workers to speak English since I’m in Hialeah, but the workers were extremely rude and unwilling to help. I may not speak Spanish but that doesn’t mean the employees can snicker at me and help others in front of me. I did fine someone that spoke English to help me but it was done begrudgingly. If the food was good, I could accept the terrible service, but with such bland and tasteless food it’s unacceptable. I would never recommend this restaurant nor would I encourage anyone to try it out. Such a massive disappointment. You might as well go to the Sedanos across the street for lunch than come here.

Very Disappointed, I went today to pick up the food for the Christmas party and the yuca was dried. The congri wasn't good.

First time here. In on a Thursday at 5PM. Small place with counter and table seating. Looks like they do a lot of take out. ORDERED: Pork Ribs with rice & beans. Very Bland. Plantains. Fried pork belly. The best part of the meal. Pork rinds VERY HARD. Prices are good. Nothing was very hot, just warm. They add a service charge (TIP) 18%. Pay with credit card surcharge 3.9%.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Las Vinas BBQ Restaurant in SW Miami, and overall, my experience was delightful. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with exceptional service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. When it comes to the food, Las Vinas BBQ certainly shines in terms of freshness and quality. The dishes showcased an impressive array of flavors and ingredients. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the baked potatoes, which were cooked to perfection and bursting with deliciousness. The accompanying toppings were well-balanced, adding an extra layer of scrumptiousness. Another standout aspect was the all-natural lemonade. It was refreshing, tangy, and made with real lemons, offering a delightful contrast to the savory flavors of the meal. The use of fresh ingredients really elevated the overall dining experience. However, I must admit that the Pork Ribs left a bit to be desired. While the meat was tender and cooked well, I found the flavor to be somewhat lacking. The ribs could benefit from a bolder seasoning or a more pronounced marinade to bring out their full potential. It's worth noting that this may simply be a personal preference, as taste preferences can vary widely. Despite this minor setback with the Pork Ribs, I would still highly recommend Las Vinas BBQ Restaurant. The exceptional service, fresh ingredients, and delicious baked potatoes make it a standout dining destination. I appreciate their commitment to using all-natural ingredients, and with a little more attention to the flavor profile of the Pork Ribs, this restaurant could easily earn a perfect score.

Was good food rice was good chicken was good plantains were awesome. Pork was OK the pork shoulder took seven hours to cook. So it wasn’t ready at 1 PM had to come back at 3 PM. The owner came and apologized to me three times. I understood. Overall good experience will come back.

We arrived at 8pm after dropping off my car rental & just wanted some food before we went home. Although their sign said they closed at 10pm, they told us we couldn't sit inside because they are closed..... And there were 2 other tables sat. So I'm not sure why everyone else could dine in, but me & my husband were told they're closed....

Yelp
Las Vinas, an east Hialeah institution, was stop#2 of a recent food crawl I attended. They have a huge variety of prepared Cuban classics which are regularly replenished. You can either whole trays of food or portion size and are charged per pound of food. As for me, I ordered their Cuban style fried rice. It was nicely loaded with ham, scrambled eggs and other veggies. I sampled the pork chunks some fellow foodie friends ordered and it was juicy & flavorful. Logistically, I am knocking a star because although they have an inside seating area, you can only sit down if you order from there instead of going through the line. They do have a few tables and fans outside.

Yelp
If you could only try one thing at Las Viñas, get the chicharron (pork belly). The meat falls apart in your hands, and the skin cracks when you take a bite. I have yet to try anything aside from the pork belly because I will go out of my way to just order a tray of this to take home. However, everything for the most part in the buffet is pretty reasonable prices and looks delicious. It is so satisfying to be able to pick out your own piece of pork belly, for them to cut it up into pieces in front of you. The only major downside is that the buffet is really meant to be carry out. You can't pick out items and eat it indoors because that area is its own separate restaurant. Nothing too bad though. I took a group of friends here for a little "east Hialeah food tour" and everyone was surprised at how good this was.

Jaquie M.

Yelp
Came here with friends for our second stop of our Hialeah food tour. Counter service was quick and we ate outside family style. The chicharron was the juiciest and the flavor was just perfect. The boiled yuca was also very good - soft and the right amount of mojo flavor. Definitely worth driving to Hialeah for the food and the prices.

Renee B.

Yelp
Came here for with a group of friends for a Cuban Food Crawl. It was one of my favorite parts of the food tour was trying their pork belly. I even went back to get some to take home. You can tell they put a lot of time and care into preparing their pork. The service was very kind and service was very fast.

Yelp
I absolutely fell in love with this authentic Cuban restaurant in where we call Cuba in Florida, Hialeah. They have the best Moro and bbq meats that will leave sucking all your fingers. The ambiance is very Spanish, Latin music playing, people laughing and others working giving exceptional service. Hands down one of my favorite places to eat some fresh food, friendly to my wallet and always leave happy. Highly recommend!! Thanks you Las viñas! ¡¡Altamente recomendado!! Gracias Las Viñas

Yelp
This place in the heart of Hialeah serves authentic Cuban food, always fresh, and fast. It's been a go to place for years and our family loves it.

Ilmia A.

Yelp
My family and I have been doing take out from here for so many years and it does not get old. The food is authentic, fresh, the service is friendly and always quick.

Yelp
I usually buy food here and it's good but it's losing quality. Today I ordered an order. The chicken was out of date. It seemed old. The ribs were bad and damaged. They were missing an order of rice. The yucca was hard. None of my guests were pleased.

Nunya G.

Yelp

Yelp
What an amazing place located in Hialeah. My brother came home to visit for the week, and like any native from Miami that knows good food always try to get the best of a special dish. Today he choose "chicharron"... raised in Miami, your exposed to a melting pot of different cultures and food, no better place to visit for this dish but in Hialeah. Thanks to Yelp, this restaurant is truly an authentic Cuban restaurant. As soon as you walk in your greeted with the "best" cuts of pork!! We were in heaven!! Service was great, our sever was amazing and nice and she spoke English. We ordered drinks at the bar before ordering the special chicharron (that's what they call the specific one we wanted).. fresh, hot, and flavorful. Worth the drive and great experience. Variety of dishes and you can order a whole pig!! Also, The Calamari and yellow rice was also delicious. I found a new spot to come for good Cuban food!

Yelp
Excelentes ofertas, servicios, el hambiente es muy acogedor, se lo recomiendo

Yelp
Really good Cuban-style pork, and all the sides you would expect! This is a great place to pick up an authentic Cuban meal for a large group!!! The pork skin is amazing (addictive!!!). At least a few times a year we come here to pick up food when relatives are visiting from out of town so they can have the best of miami flavors. I'm not sure what it's called, but the make an okra and tomato side dish that reminds he of old miami southern food... really good.

Yelp
Maybe this place has low prices and good food, but costumer services and being honest is part of the game too. My wine called to place a order roast pork for our NYE Party. A deposit of $50 was paid over the phone with a remaining balance of $240 and $20 to be refunded when the tray was returned. The Roasted Pork wasn't as good as expected, it was super cold when I picked up, like it was standing for several hours by the scheduled "pick up time". The following week I retuned the tray and was charged $10 for not have clean it, neither me or my wife were aware of this fee. And today, I discovered a duplicated charge on my Credit Card, as you can see in the screenshot attached they charged $240 in 2 different days. When I called, the manager was not available to talk to me and they wanted me to go there in person to fix the issue... Are you kidding me!? I have too much thinks to do to be driving one hour for their mistake. Bye bye Las Viñas BBQ.

Yelp
For my husband's birthday, we were having a party. We have a cigar shop so we planned to invite a lot of people. One of my customers mention this place and we went to order there. The price was a bit high, especially when giving away the food, so I told them if we could get a better price because in another place we order every year it was kind of half. They said, our food is cook with the best ingredients and we promise, you won't be disappointed. We were already there and we order something ad we love it so we decided to use their service. At the party, everyone says this is the best stuffed pork they ever eat. I had to go on Google and find the name of the place and text it to at least 7 people. The pork was tender and crunched. You could taste the flavor but not greasy at all. The rice was the best part. I totally love it. I believe we have a new place for our celebrations! "The pork skin is amazing (addictive!!!)." I agree with Bill W

Yelp
My daughter and I went to eat at this highly rated Cuban BBQ spot in Hialeah. Holy crap did those reviewers get IT WRONG!! There's limited parking spots but they have outside seating which is very nice. The first thing you see is this giant warming case that has bbqed pork shoulders, ribs, bbq ribs, grilled whole chickens and other unidentifiable meats. They looked fantastic. They are NOT. They are no instructions on how to order. Just some pictures on the wall, etc. I wanted like a combo with rice plantains and pork. I asked if anyone spoke any English and I was literally dismissed and they started taking people behind me. So we stood there looking stupid for a few moments and let a few people go past us in line as I stood there trying to figure out how to order. They brought a guy from the back that helped us. (The women were quite snobby and unpleasant). I pointed to rice and he dished a massive amount of rice and plantains. Apparently all the meats are a la carte so I ordered some Dry ass grilled to oblivion, no seasoning, overcooked pork. This pork almost killed me. (I almost choked to death on it)And a half lb of salty chicaronnes!! I spent 20.00 on really bad food. Here's the kicker, the place is packed. Busy! People coming to pick up lots of to go orders. Why?? There's a Sedanos across the street, which I'm sure has better food for a better price!! Don't come here!!!

Floren B.

Yelp
We've getting food here for a while, their pork, rice & tamales are awesome. But we got some oxtail and it was horrible the meat was super hard like if it had not been cooked thru. So needless to say I will not ever get that again.

George M.

Yelp
East Hialeah's finest comida por libra joint. Wanna have a huge noche buena like party for no reason with 100 of your closest friends? $480 will cover food with any meat and two side. Damn that's a good deal. People that know about this place know that few come close So Put away the caja china 'cause I'm not sure that wasist but better play it safe

Enrique P.

Yelp
I ordered from Uber eats the pork with morro and yuca frita it was all amazing!!!! It was a very large portion that 2 can eat from and be full. The price is good for the portion they serve you.

Gladys M.

Yelp
A wonderfully inviting restaurant that truly represents the best in Cuban cuisine The family friendly atmosphere is very inviting and friendly lots of family banter. A wonderful selection of choice with daily specials of true Cuban flavor .Best Pan con Lechon in the world . We all enjoyed a fabulous meal and the Cuban coffee to finish was superb Highly recommended if your visiting Miami

Kathi K.

Yelp
Not entirely sure how many stars to give to the servers vs the really helpful customers. My husband and I don't speak Spanish, but wanted real Cuban food. Well, we got what we were looking for. the ladies behind the counter tried to be helpful, but it was another customer who spoke English very clearly but is Cuban by heritage who helped us explain that we wanted a tamale (so garlicky! It was delicious) and black beans and rice, fried plantains, and a chunk of pork. Everything was delicious and the portions were ridiculously big. We finished the pork, but couldn't finish anything else. I have to tell you we aren't shy eaters, the portions were ridiculous. All of that plus one beer cost $16. Yes. More food than we could eat cost $16. It's not fancy, it's a challenge if you don't speak Spanish, and it's not in a great neighborhood but I would totally go back.

Mileidis R.

Yelp
Always good food, tho you got to get early as it's always packed. The people that work there are always sweet and attentive. It doesn't really cost much unless you are ordering for a party then that's different. Other than those points I recommend this place 100%. ‼

Lauren J.

Yelp
I'm giving them five stars. Yes, I chose to do this review primarily on the food. Why? It's delicious! Always fresh! I consider this to be a carry out restaurant although they have plenty of tables (which I have never seen seated). They keep things pretty tidy and bring out small portions at a time. They only speak Spanish but with a few hand signals and mostly helpful patrons you'll get exactly what you wanted or didn't even know you wanted to be honest. Get the pork belly, you won't regret it. Tell them I sent you. They don't know me. It will only add to the confusion. ‍

Julie A.

Yelp
We made an order for 25 people abd the food was delicious. I definitely would recommend this place.

Priscilla N.

Yelp
You want flavorful authentic Cuban party food, then this is your stop. We ordered masa de puerco (pork meat) congris (black bean black rice) Yuca con mojo (casaca in garlic and oil) and tamales. Everything was exquisite, the rice was soft and not over bearing with cumin, the pork meat was soft and flavorful, the yuca was also soft and the Mojo seasoning was off the chain. Let's not forget the tamales which were also amazing. The only reason why I didn't give this place a five star was because their pick up situation is very disorganized. We set our order to be picked up at 11:30 AM and we had to wait 30 minutes for order to be prepped because it was not prepped along with four other people. Other than that it's all good so if your having a party and you don't feel like cooking hit up Las Vegas and you won't be disappointed except for having to wait a little bit for your food to be picked up.

Yly M.

Yelp
Sad, unsatisfied feelings about this interesting Hialeah take out/restaurant. They don't have much of a parking lot, so we parked across the street. The food was pretty good, but the service was pretty darn bad. They don't have any set menu anywhere visible.....oh wait they have pictures when you look up with no pricing. I wanted to sit to have a meal at the restaurant side, but didn't see anyone or any menus by the door. I assumed you order your food and sit down either inside or their outdoor seating. They had a pretty long line, which made me excited that I picked a good spot. The portions are huge, so 1 portion is good for 2-3 people in my opinion. They had a variety of of different precooked Cuban dishes on display under hot light to keep the food warm. Everything looked good for a restaurant of this caliber. No frills, it's all about the food. When it was finally our turn, I asked questions, my server was no small talk man that was quick. There was another server that looked lost and needed to take a nap, sorta felt bad for her, one of the workers called her out to snap out of it. The vibe was weird. The lady at the register was rude, which I have to concur with a previous review. We went to sit down and a lady miraculously showed up from god knows where to tell us the tables were for customers that order at the table...... no one was sitting at any table or the tables outside; where was she before? So silly, but I asked if we could sit outside and so she looked outside and said we could eat the farthest table. Finally sat down and realized I had to go in to get silverware, Got them, and managed to have a couple bites and had to leave since flys were going after our food. Hate to say it, but that really ruined it for me. Maybe it's the hangry me typing this, but they really got to work on their customer service. I hate writing bad reviews, but I wouldn't recommend this place by the way they are currently managing it.

Brittney H.

Yelp
This is my favorite cuban place, I love the food. They have amazing prices and great service.

Oscar O.

Yelp
The pork they make is off the chain. Really good cooking going on in the little hid way in Hialeah.

Nestor M.

Yelp
Excellent service and grate delicious food clean place and reasonable prices. A lot of different plates, drinks and deserts

Ray A.

Yelp
I've only come here for take out (which is primarily what it looks like even though they have tables). The parking lot has only maybe 5-7 spaces so takeout is advisable anyways. Most of the food I think is cafetaria style so it's already prepared (although they're constantly refilling). I won't talk about the pan con lechon I mistakenly ordered last time, but this time I got 4lbs of delicious tender pork shoulder. Everyone spoke Spanish (last time I messed up and said una pound lechon and they thought I meant pan con lechon) so I just said cuatro libra lechon and pointed at the pork shoulder. For $6.50 a pound, it was tender, the skin crunchy albeit hard, and very greasy. The grease is too expected, even if it pools out when reheating and acts as rocket fuel in the microwave. I would definitely come back for more.

Erudito C.

Yelp
Great place for take out cuban food ,go early it gets full with a huge line ,during the holidays you can order a whole pig if you have a big family ,food is great ,the best chicharrones ,great barrigada and an incredible tamal en cazuela.

Daisy P.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant that sells food by the pound. If you're having a party make sure to stop by and pick up some Cuban classics like Yucca and Moro! They also have tables to sit down and eat and I'm positive the food is just as good :)

Monica B.

Yelp
If you're having a party and need to feed a lot of people, this is the place to go to. The Cuban food is very good and the prices are excellent!

Lillian P.

Yelp
I live in Las Vegas and was in Miami for a few days, so I definitely wanted to eat cuban food... Las Vinas was recommended by a friend. I gotta tell you, this was the MOST AMAZING and AUTHENTIC cuban food I have ever had!!!! Even the natural drinks were amazing. My favorite was the pineapple... YUMMY! Definitely my favorite cuban restaurant EVER!

eglys h.

Yelp
i have not really stayed in to eat.. i have had their catering and food has been ok. even thou i do have to say they have been generous with their portions... our guest have been able to serve themselves twice.. this is cuban food - their moro is good and so is their puerto asado (roasted pork) food is ok...

Are L.

Yelp
This is the best cuban food in Miami. You won't be disappointed. Try the congri and the masa de puerco is a must! And did I mention the tamales! Go Now!!!
