L'Assiette Provençale

It was so delicious! And the people working here are the loveliest. It was a warm, sweet atmosphere, and the dishes were really great! The fish soup was amazing! And tbh everything from the starter until the dessert was yummy. Loved it a lot and highly recommend!

This place is located by the marina, and the view on a sunny day is quite enjoyable. Upon arriving, the staff were extremely attentive and greeted me with warm smiles, always a lovely welcome. I had the octopus fricassee, and wow! What a combination of flavours! The octopus was tender, and all the elements of the dish complemented each other beautifully. I truly enjoyed every bite. Next time I’m in Cannes, I’ll definitely be visiting again.

Excellent!! Had the local fish. The lemon merengue pie was to die for! They kept refilling the bread. Small and intimate place but were reserved lunch for 9 people. Amazing. To service.

I had one of the best-grilled octopus I’ve ever eaten at L’Assiette Provençale. The portion size was generous, and the octopus was incredibly tender, not rubbery at all, and perfectly seasoned. Their starters were also fantastic – fresh and full of flavour. The restaurant is spotless, and you can tell they work very cleanly, which made the whole dining experience even more pleasant. The customer service was outstanding. Someone was always checking to ensure everything was going well and asking if we needed anything. I asked for fresh orange juice, which wasn’t on the menu, but the kind lady offered to make one for me using fresh oranges – such a thoughtful touch! Their wine selection is also excellent, with high-quality options that perfectly complemented the meal.

We loved the food, a bit less the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall this is a great choice. That’s essential to reserve in advance. You will be seated either outside or in the limited space inside. Big positive note is that you can have a nice set menu for around 40 euros and it’s definitely worth it. The quality of the food is high and they have a nice presentation of the plates. We loved our fish food, including the soup, the salmon and the octopus. The desserts were also very good. We didn’t like the vibe, the owners and the waiters were constantly running and seemed very stressed. Also they were not really paying attention to customers. Inside, there was no AC and we didn’t enjoy being seated in front of a fridge. I would go again but specifying to be seated outside.

Great view, tasty food and absolutely The best service to make my first Cannes experience a pleasure! I ordered the steam fish for my main but realized it wasn't what I had in mind, fish a bit plain and the sauce too garlicky... Without hesitation, the owner changed for me instantly and the Prawns were absolutely delicious! I strongly recommend anyone to come and visit! Thank you L'Assiette Provençale for making my belly satisfied and heart warm!

Came here during our trip in Cannes. The seafood soup was an interesting dish, the initial taste might be weird, but you’d want more. The octopus was a bit tough, but still seasoned pretty nicely. Oysters were yumm, definitely order this. The service was friendly, but I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t offer a fan for outdoor seating. It was 32 Celsius out there with a blazing sun, without the wind, having just a shade wasn’t really enough. Should probably get a fan, I’m sure more customers would come in as the food isn’t bad!
