"After years of wholesale and pastry boxes, Chanah Willis’ Last Call Baking opened a permanent location in late 2022. The setup is simple and lets the French and Japanese-inspired pastries do the talking: Last Call’s rotating selection features items like fennel sugar-dusted morning buns, croissant loaves, persimmon jam danishes, and miso coffee cake. They’ve sold out every day since opening, so come early to get a good spot in line. If you prefer to sleep in, you can also find Last Call at coffee shops, including June, Punch Love Coffee, Domestique, and Daily Edition." - Sarra Sedghi

Last Call Baking Company is a very authentic and quality experience when it comes to baked goods that are cooked with love. A flakey and flavorful Chocolate Croissant, and divine and hearty Chocolate Cinnamon Roll, and a classic yet elevated Cookie. Going there to get bulk baking goods is gonna cost a pretty penny, but it's money well spent if you're one who enjoys good quality food. The people inside are kind and very involved, you can tell they enjoy their work and it shows in their food. Definitely a good place to visit if you haven't.

Make sure you get here early! This is hands down my favorite bakery in town. My husband & I are never disappointed and always find a new treat! Always blown away by the creativity, flavor, and presentation of these pastries!

Nestled in the heart of our community, this Japanese-French bakery is a hidden gem that deserves to be celebrated. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked pastries and the warm, welcoming smiles of the staff. The bakery exudes a charming blend of minimalist Japanese aesthetics with a touch of French elegance, making it a perfect spot to savor some of the most beautiful and delicious treats you'll ever experience. The true magic of this bakery lies in its masterful fusion of Japanese precision and French artistry. Every cake and pastry is a work of art, meticulously crafted with an eye for detail that is nothing short of extraordinary. The cakes are light, airy, and bursting with unique flavors that perfectly balance sweetness and subtlety. One bite and you'll be transported to a world of culinary bliss. Their cake is a revelation, with layers of delicate sponge, creamy ganache, and a hint of almond that dances on your palate. The yuzu tart is another standout, offering a perfect marriage of tangy citrus and buttery crust, topped with a glossy finish that catches the eye. And don't even get me started on their croissants — they are a marvel of flaky, buttery perfection, with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside and a soft, pillowy interior. What sets this bakery apart is not just the exquisite quality of their products but also the genuine passion that goes into every creation. The owners are clearly dedicated to their craft, using only the finest ingredients and traditional techniques passed down through generations. This commitment to excellence is evident in every bite. The customer service is just as impressive as the pastries themselves. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always eager to help you find the perfect treat for any occasion. Whether you're stopping by June for a quick coffee and Last Call for croissant in the morning or ordering a custom cake for a special event, you can expect to be treated like family. In a world where mass-produced goods often dominate, this locally owned bakery is a refreshing reminder of the beauty and joy that comes from handmade, artisanal craftsmanship. It's a place where tradition meets innovation, and where every visit feels like a special occasion. If you haven't yet experienced the wonders of this Japanese-French bakery, do yourself a favor and make it a priority. It's more than just a bakery; it's a celebration of flavor, culture, and community. A true treasure that we're lucky to have right here in our own backyard.

Magical baked goods✨ I have been following long before they had their own space and Chanah has always surprised and delighted her audience with her creations. Following her heart and letting the ingredients speak to her has always been the vibe. I was so happy to see some of my favorite flavors crop up like black sesame, apricots, pistachios, miso butter, etc that so often escape a Southern pastry chef’s notice. They have a bit of a cult following now (in the best way) so I would recommend coming during the week to get a better selection unless you love the thrill of a line!

My colleague brought a variety box of various biscuits and pastries to the office for my birthday. We shared it at work then I took the rest home and my family enjoyed it all. Lots of unique items! I loved the cheddar biscuit and my family enjoyed the pastry that was infused with jam and cream cheese icing and topped with powdered sugar. Everything was delightful.

Love this place! The baked goodies are bonkers, and we were incredibly fortunate to have Last Call fit our wedding into their schedule at the end of last year. Chanah was a dream to work with, and they really knocked the cakes (and pastry spread) out of the park. 11/10 cannot recommend highly enough (Photo credit: The Wipplers)

We discovered Last Call during 2023 and have been obsessed since. The pastries are phenomenal! We will get there early and line up for them to open. When they open the doors you can smell the pastries which makes it so much better. I love how they have a variety of options from sweet to savory to a little bit of both. It is nice that they have staples and new rotating items. The new items aren’t the usual suspects you find in a bakery. They are so creative! Highly highly recommend. Photo is from December! In the photo is their pizza croissant, almond croissant, ricotta toast, blood orange danish and of course (my favorite) kouign amann.
