Google
We found this place while visiting and the food and ciders were great! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again. Got the special smash burger and buffalo chicken Mac. House made ranch and buffalo sauce was great! My fiancé got the Bison burger and loved it.

Google
Such a cool place to hang out! The cider and beer were excellent and the atmosphere was a total vibe. Our server was friendly and attentive. We loved the coleslaw and the sweet potato wedges! Our chicken however, was all dry and the regular fries were a bit soggy in grease. Overall, we enjoyed our visit!

Google
Chill Vibes & Incredible Cider- Last Chance Pub nails it. Expect laid-back, industrial vibe and some of the best craft ciders around. The Flathead Cherry and Honeycrisp were crisp, flavorful, and dangerously easy to drink. The space is warm, open, and perfect for catching up with friends — especially on the patio. A go-to spot if you’re into good drinks and great atmosphere.

Google
I googled, "who has the best bison burger in Billings" and this place popped up. It did NOT disappoint! Amazing burger. Staff was super friendly. Don't miss this hidden gem.

Sharon Noffke

Google
Our waiter was outstanding! He was running around all night and did a great job! Food was very good and portions were generous. I had the smoked prime rib sandwich, which was delicious! We really liked the ciders!

Google
I had the cuban and my wife had the people’s choice burger. Both were excellent. I’d rate the burger slightly better between the two but you won’t be disappointed either way. The chips are addictive. The cider is refreshing. Our waitress was amazing despite how busy they were that night. Overall an amazing meal with friends. Makes me wish I lived in Billings.

Google
Had the strawberry-rhubarb cider....awesome. My friend's knee was sore, they gave us a bag of ice for her. The service was warm and welcoming, a nice selection of brews and drinks. We didn't eat, but the menu selection was good as well. I'll be back.

Conrad Crookston

Google
The food was top notch, seriously one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had. The mac n cheese with steak was good but still left something to be desired. The cider though, was the star of the show...the pear and cherry are definitely personal favs. It was disappointing the specials were all out, would have liked to have tried them. The service was good and the server knowledgeable, it would be a little better if they weren't in such a rush with each table and took a little extra time. This would have gotten the 5th star in the service section. 5 stars for the Cuban but only 3 for the mac n cheese. Atmosphere though is fantastic, high ceilings and well done accents and touches. Would recommend if only for the drinks.

Yelp
Love cider and love this place! It was part of the brew trail in Billings and I couldnt wait to stop in! They had a great cider selection to choose from. Its pretty spacious and Ill definitely be back on our next trip to try the food :)

Yelp
We needed a spot to accommodate about 8 people, including some kids. This definitely hit all of the marks. I ordered a honey crisp cider which was enjoyable. Then I ordered the bison burger, and the preservation board for the table. The bison burger was great, lots of flavor and the fries were nice and crispy. I didn't love everything in the preservation board but I liked the variety. The service was great, especially because we were a big group. Despite not having a kids, they were able to make them a plain hamburger and milk/juice, and brought it out first, which was very nice and accommodating.

Yelp
We had a group of ten at Last Chance, which was a bit larger than I think they're used to, but the restaurant was able to handle the group with no problem, including some small special requests for food for kids. Both the ciders and food were good, otherwise. Portions were very generous. I ordered their "Preservation Board," which is basically a charcuterie board. This was huge, and way too much food for an appetizer for one person. We wound up splitting it happily among 4 people or so. For dinner, I tried their take on the french dip sandwich, which was one of the things I'd been looking forward to trying. It was well worth the wait.

Yelp
Last chance pub and Cider mill has taken residency in the old tractor showroom. The owners have done an excellent job of maintaining the old industrial feeling of this building. Through expose ceilings, rich, red brick, a beautiful German style fireplace and of course the heart of the operation there Apple press. This location truly transports you back to a time period of when railway transportation was prominent. Their menu offering features, many artisanal, flavors and ingredients that one would not typically expect to find in the middle of Montana. We ordered the bacon fried Brussels sprouts to start - they were sweet, even with being fried in the bacon fat, but the granny smith apples paired really well. We also ordered the Burmese pork wrap - wow! Packed with flavor, the carnitas were moist and full of flavor! I opted to upgrade to the sweet potatoe jojo and i highly suggested you do to! It's like an entire sweet potatoe on your plate! Great seasoning and the sweet lavender honey cardamom butter, dipping sauce was out of the world. We also ordered the french dip. We opted for the salt and vinegar chips which were thick and great flavor as well! The french dip was good, but we wish there would have been more meat on the sandwich. We did a flight of ciders and enjoyed the local taste. The ciders are made from locally sourced Montana apples, as well as apples from Michigan and Oregon. Providing a nice tart experience. The one thing that I did enjoy was the fact that their ciders are all predominantly dry. Really enjoyed the cider that was aged in bourbon barrels - it had such a depth of flavor.

Yelp
I was excited to check this place out as I love a good cider, but never got to actually try anything. I came in and it was relatively quiet, so I sat at the bar. I watched 7 different people come and go in the bar and not one even said hello or offered a menu. They wouldn't even make eye contact with me. I waited 10-15 minutes and then walked out. There's absolutely no excuse for ignoring your customers. I figured after waiting that long the service was just going to get worse. I did go down the street and get to try their ciders though and will say all 3 I tried were delicious!

Rob K.

Yelp
I've been here twice. The first time was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. The second time was terrible. Basically everything fried was so overdone that it wasn't edible. My fish and chips was so overdone that the dish was brown through the middle. It wasn't salvageable so I sent it back. Fries, onion rings, and chicken sandwich had a similar fate. The server was very apologetic and brought me a slice of mud pie to make up for it. Sadly, the pie was frozen almost completely solid. This place has so much potential and it looks amazing inside, but the food is really lacking.

American P.

Yelp
If you like cider this is the place to go brother. Tons of options to try! You can get the drinks in 3 different sizes. And they even do flights to try 4 of them at once. Food itself is so so. Nothing special nothing bad. The cider is the star of the show

Yelp
We had the most phenomenal family dinner here on Sunday evening! We wanted to try out something from the brew trail but our group wasn't all beer drinkers. This place, from drinks to food to service to ambiance blew us away! I got a flight of cider. I like tart and the Jonathan was definitely my favorite. And whew they were strong!! Our server was so sweet, he even brought my daughter her lemonade in a little flight glass because she was eyeing my cute little cups. Everyone else liked their drinks as well. We got a big variety of food and were all very pleased. I got the steak salad and oh my gosh I was delicious! I loved how simple it was but so full of good flavor. The steak was delicious. My husband said the chips were amazing (I forgot to try one!) and my sister was raving about her mushroom tacos. I tried her guacamole and it was great. My daughter's mac and cheese might just be the most delicious thing I ate on our week long vacation - it was SO good! The setting was very family friendly. We were able to have a nice multigenerational dinner but since we were on the far side of the lovely patio my toddler was able to run around and be rambunctious without bothering anyone. And our server (I wish I remember his name!) was so wonderful. This dinner was a true highlight if a very full family vacation. I can't recommend it enough!

Yelp
Beautiful interior with high ceilings and exposed brick, very industrial - gorgeous. Great music in my opinion (The Bahamas was playing) and my pear cider was tasty so wins all around. The inside is cool enough to just come and see even if you're not into hard cider. Super nice people working there too, they gave recs for late night food.

Liz D.

Yelp
Love the food. The outdoor patio is awesome. Love sitting out there and enjoying the weather.

Liz G.

Yelp
This was a great location. We are on the road and it was within walking distance to our hotel. We were so pleased to find this gem. I had the cider flight and the Burmese wrap, which was awesome. Hubby had the bison burger which was also great. And their fries were delicious. Try this when in Billings.
google avatar

Carlos C.

Yelp
Wow. I just had a fantastic bacon Gorgonzola burger, and this smoked salmon salad is outstanding. The fries are delicious too. Great food and great cider; would highly recommend.

Yelp
In the past when I have been here the service has been better. The last time everything we ordered came out at once, so by the time we got through the salad the main dish was cold. The staff was attentive, though. If you get a booth here, it's comfortable but I don't love the chairs. I do love the atmosphere! The cider is fantastic and I love the Pairfection with a bit of lavender in it.
google avatar

Yelp
Visiting for the first time, WE'LL BE BACK! The food is fun, creative, and more importantly, cooked well. The cider is delicious (we did not try the beer) and my wife tried 6 drinks from all over the menu and loved them all, I stuck to the Pub Cider and am very happy after 5 of them, when you find a good thing... ambiance and service, super attentive but not intrusive, and the place filled up as we kept eating. We had our daughter with us and she ate the Jojos, Brussels, and Mac and cheese, and loved the NA cider. Literally the place I wish was in my neighborhood and we'll be back !

Yelp
Burger is amazing. It's clear they have a chef here who knows what they're doing. "Artisanal" is absolutely correct. They make their own ciders here, 16 of em today. Wife loves the salad - they have one with marinated apple chunks. Nice interior, in an old tractor dealership building, 100 years old. I'm a beer guy and they have a selection of 8, most of which are $5 a pint. Did I just go back in time 20 years? Oh! And they make their own potato chips - they're epic. Get some.

Richard L.

Yelp
Very tasty bourbon & rum flavored cider. Service was a bit slow due to some large parties

Joel K.

Yelp
Food was so burnt and dried out that i couldn't eat it. the customer service is terrible. this was the 4th time in 3 months that i was not served waited 45 min for my togo missed my gfs lunch and when i brought it to her it was so terrible she couldn't eat it. you guys suck. cider is good but you won't get one if you go there. they won't serve you.

Bob M.

Yelp
Decent cider and beer. Service was quite bad. On a Sunday afternoon there were 9 people in the bar including my wife and I. We were largely ignored while 1 bartender shot the $hit with some guy, 2 girls stood behind the bar, I kid you not, making origami and not paying attention to anyone. A couple other bartenders came and went and didn't look our way. Finally the gal waiting tables in the restaurant side came around to take our order. She was really nice and helpful. Everyone else should be replaced.

Kathy F.

Yelp
Visited from Georgia and decided to check this place out. Great Menu Choices & Ciders.

Yelp
Giving this a big ol' hell yeah! Let me tell you why... service. Lexie is a Queen. She was quick to greet, so friendly. Offered drink and menu suggestions that turned out, on point. Enjoyed the Smoked Prime rib dip. Golly! So tender, light smoke rumbled through the tender prime rib. Absolutely delicious. And the au jus...oh my. Served with S/P fries that are fresh and delicious. Enjoyed a cider flight 4 offerings for $10. Excellent choice. Flathead Cherry - flavorful and full bodied. Pearfection very light, refreshing. Orchard Run, typical apple cider. Karmijn, at Lexie's suggestion...on point, thicker mouth feel than the others, deeper flavor, very satisfying. Seeing other plates I'm definitely planning another visit! Salads are massive. That Montana wagyu burger sounds and looks outta this world. Let me know if you enjoyed your visit as much as I did. Ask for Lexie, I sure will next time.

Yelp
It was good Lots of beer and cider choices. Fried chicken was a little heavy. Nachos had an interesting crema. Beer was good Service was hoping.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Was nearby (Billings, MT) and decided to stop by (recommendation from Sam at Red Lodge Ales). I had some great tastings of their ciders). They rotate monthly. Really liked the Pearfection, Karmijn, and Flathead Cherry Cider. They rotate different ciders in about quarterly. They have been operating for over 5 years. They are a scratch kitchen. They are also the only apple to glass place in Montana. Katelyn served me and made sure I had all I needed. If you are nearby, give it a try. Enjoy!
google avatar

Eoin H.

Yelp
Very good cider and pretty solid food. Liked that they had lots of interesting vegetarian options such as mushroom carnitas tacos. Kind of strange because they come with corn chips that you can either eat raw or pay extra to get salsa/guac with. They serve the cider in flights so it's easy and cheap to try a lot of them. I got two flights (8 different ciders) and they were all really good. I also got the sweet potato jojos as an appetizer which were good, definitely a dish for people with more of a sweet tooth. Lots of indoor seating space inside. They also have a patio but it was closed when I went.
google avatar

Nutsy K.

Yelp
Extremely friendly service with a great ambiance both inside and out. The patio heaters would make this a great early spring or late fall stop as well, provided they're running. Good menu looked tasty and especially surprised with the 8 draft beer choices and 22 coders to choose from. At $10 for a cider flight you can't go wrong with a stop here.

Cole G.

Yelp
Horrible service on a Saturday night. At the bar for 20 minutes talked to no one. Watched a 17 year old get hit on. Moved to a table and didn't get talked to for another 30 minutes then just left. Their beer at the gas station is pretty good tho

Brenda M.

Yelp
The food was great. We really enjoyed the Brussels sprouts. They were delicious. The ciders were really tasty.
google avatar

N L.

Yelp
Fantastic food, I've been a dozen times on business trips and the food rarely disappoints. The beer is okay but the ciders are incredible! The service is wonderful and they have regularly let our group stay until all the chairs are flipped up and then we can walk back to the hotels. It is some of the best service in Billings

Tracie H.

Yelp
Fantastic. Every bite is worth going back for. Fresh food, local and outstanding flavors.
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
The food is solid and the cidar beer is great. The place is friendly and welcoming. My favorite thing to get is the preservation board. I think it is a place just about anyone can enjoy and find something they like on the alcohol list or menu.
google avatar

Jenn W.

Yelp
Absolutely going to be my go to for Billings. Ciders we're fantastic, service was great with knowledgeable server (thanks Evany!) who guided our choices and great thoughtfully prepared foods. As a vegetarian in cattle country it can be tough to find good meals. I had the Cider house salad with apples and blueberries- it was very good. My son had the chicken sandwich which he said as fantastic. They have been given a local award for their fries and they didn't disappoint!

Mark O.

Yelp
Had the steak salad and it was really good! Ingredients were fresh and plentiful. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Eli S.

Yelp
Food was great! Really liked the coconut shrimp and the poutine. I also liked the outdoor seating area. Great ambiance.
google avatar

Sabrina C.

Yelp
An atmosphere inviting for a group of friends, a night alone, or a date. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff and absolutely delicious food! The salmon is smoked in house and the Preservation Board is probably one of the best presentations I have ever had! A MUST if you are visiting Billings! Would definitely recommend
google avatar

Jim U.

Yelp
Lots of ciders, which I'm not a fan of, but they do have several beers and a good menu. Nice build out. Love the fireplace seating area. Good service at the bar.
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
After seeing mostly rave reviews for the fish & chips, we had to order that along with the bison burger. The bison burger was outstanding, but the fish & chips were not edible. Seriously, they were so bad (chewy, burnt, salty, etc.). I've NEVER sent anything back until yesterday. The only thing salvaging this review was the empecable service and the solid ciders we tried, and that bison burger. Just don't don't order the F&C. please... should have taken a photo...
google avatar

Yelp
Service is S-L-O-W.....walked in at exactly 2pm on a Sunday afternoon and there were only 3 other tables occupied. We were greeted by one girl who seemed to be the only one working and told to sit wherever. By 2:16PM we have menus and waters. Then another girl appeared to take a drink order. Finally at 2:28pm we finally have a drink in front of us and food order in. Ordered a flight of 4 ciders - all were very flavorful and delicious. For lunch we had the daily soap and shared Short Rib Nachos. Nachos were 90% beans and we found very few pieces of short rib. Unique twist on the nachos with the pickled radish & carrots - didn't love it but didn't hate it either. Overall the food & cider were a thumbs up. But the waitress came back around practically after we were done with our meal to check on us. Slower and non attentive service than we would like, especially since we've been on the road all day and were on the verge of hangry. Would have gotten up and gone elsewhere but we had already been to two other spots that were closing at 2PM or already closed for the day. Hopefully your service experience is better than ours because it's definitely worth the stop for the cider alone.

Yelp
Had an early dinner here on our way through Montana. What a great place! My partner who is gluten-intolerant had one of their Greek or Mediterranean flatbreads on a cauliflower crust and she consumed the entire pie. Loved it! I had a salad with blueberries, pickled apples, smoked Gouda, and grilled chicken that was huge and fantastic. It would have served two of us--I could not finish but I got most of the way there. There were at least five other things on the menu that I wanted to order as well. I am only sorry I had no room for dessert.
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
Went for lunch , enjoyable experience, service was good very friendly, my 2 knocks were the tortilla chips were a harder texture than I like a few were on the stale side , and on my pork taco there was one piece of the rind that ended up in my taco that was to tough to chew , but nothing that would stop me from a return trip , had the sweet potato JoJos for the appetizer, wife had the fish n chips , I got guacamole and Pico de gallo sides for my chips with my tacos 5$ for both , loved the fresh flavor of the Pico de gallo . Good size portions

Yelp
ummm, frankly, im on my LAST chance. I mosied on down to Last CHacne Pub for some good ole ' monday nite wings and sodas with the squad, and i was NOT amused. well,... ill just get right into it. as soon as i was in the premisis, it smelled like pocky from world market and a brand new red camero. while i do enjoy a good camero whaff... this one did not sit right as i could feel tension in the air. as soon as i sat down,,, my server ella grock smelled like straight up ZA. the tips of her hair were frizzled up like mrs penn on a tuesday... and she was shakin so bad she spilled my double trouble white claw all over the floor and celing. she has a big tumble and fell and yelled and laid on the floor for like 2 and a half minites while i waited for my table. I WANRED A TABLE. needless to say... I did NOT get KRUNK in a timely fashion, and i went home and thanks for your time... NOT! -the japster

Yelp
Excellent food and fun atmosphere! The macaroni and cheese was to die for and the vegetarian nachos were excellent. I highly recommend!

Kelsie D.

Yelp
This place was truly amazing. We stopped for dinner on our cross country road trip and tried the sweet potato jojos, mushroom tacos, cider salad, and Mac and cheese in addition to our ciders and it was truly the best meal of our entire trip. Awesome service too! If we find ourselves in the area again, I'd love to return!

Dj C.

Yelp
AMBITIOUS menu. Delicious ciders. You shouldn't go to a cider mill expecting a good flatbread. Therefore.. don't order their flatbreads.. or their "stuffed" mushrooms. The sweet potato jojos were amazing. Some of the best sweet potatoes I've ever eaten when combined with the lavender cardamom sauce. The Cuban sandwich was delicious. Smokey and full of flavor, the bread to meat ratio a bit off, leaving about 1/4 of bread wanting meat and pickles. We asked for them to refire a flatbread because it came out undercooked and soggy.. it was followed by another soggy rendition of a caprese. The "stuffed" mushrooms were just a flattened mushroom cap with a heavily seasoned breading poured on top, resembling an unmixed eggplant meatball folded outward. Tasty, but poorly configured and lacking the depth or volume of anything stuffed. I'd go back 5/5 times for cider and might dabble in a sandwich in the future. Fallen soldier fries, most of which are less than and inch long but flavorful nonetheless. Hard to find any establishment with a menu as bold as this one. It didn't fall on its face but the price and exuberance exceeded the reality. Would recommend over 90% of this town.

Katie L.

Yelp
Unfortunately still only giving this place 3 stars! We came here for drinks and dessert. The drinks took quite a while so our server volunteered them as on the house. That was pretty exciting so we ordered dessert. The dessert and drinks were great. The pear coder is fantastic and not too sweet. The dessert we had was ice cream with brownie and syrup, there were candies pumpkin seeds (delicious) and it was enough for 3-4 people! When we got our bill we noticed that the drinks were not in fact comped. My husband thought he knew the server from somewhere and was not comfortable with us saying something but I was a bit frustrated that we were lied to. I definitely didn't mind paying for what we had but the fact that the server said it would be on the House then wasn't, was very frustrating.
google avatar

Lisa O.

Yelp
We went here on a date on two recommendations from friends. Upon arrival, we asked for a table for two. We were asked if we had reservations and told them we did not. We were seated immediately. We were brought menus and water. We looked over the menu and ordered a flight of Apple Brandy Barrel Aged, Pearfection, Helio Hefeweizen and Bent Nail IPA. I ordered the Father-In-Law and my husband ordered the Cider House salad. We both loved our dishes. We were so full by the end of our meal. We had excellent service with Bryka! Plenty of street parking. Welcoming and casual atmosphere.

Yelp
Last Chance has become my favorite destination while in Billings. It is one of the few places I've been in Billings that has both amazing drinks AND fantastic food. Do your taste buds a favor and try the Afterburner with some of their amazing Bourbon barrel aged cider!

Yelp
Went to this new place downtown Billings last night. Highly recommend. Food was really good. They serve this custard to dip sweet potato fries into just the best and unique. Great atmosphere too. Worth driving downtown for.

Yelp
Great service, great selection of beers and the food is top notch. We have been with a large group and just as a couple and the service is excellent

Yelp
We had friends fly in for a long weekend. We're new to Billings, but found Last Chance online. Very cool old building! Friendly efficient staff. Better than average " bar food". They brew hard ciders. I loved them. My wife not so much. All in all, very positive experience.

Dustin C.

Yelp
Completely understand that restaurants are understaffed but the way our group was treated tonight was unacceptable. Started when we walked in to the "seat yourself sign" and seated ourselves. We were then rudely scolded by one of the waitstaff to go wait at front. I told her I just did what sign said and she just shook her head at me. Once we were seated we waited 30 minutes and then politely asked if someone could take our order. Once again yelled at by same waitress. Seeing your 75 year old father get yelled at does not make you want to return. I asked for a manager and was told there was nobody working I could speak with - so nobody in charge. We promptly left and walked next door where we were treated great. We will not be returning and hope to call tomorrow to find an actual manager to speak with. Honestly the rudest service I have ever experienced. Almost like a joke was being played on us.
