"This Tivoli brewery’s floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking 31 acres of farmland and cross-thatched timber roof will make you stop and think: Wait, is beer … fancy? Lasting Joy does solid, homegrown beers with New York ingredients, like their fantastic Czech pilsner, hazy IPA, and for the somewhat adventurous, the English Beet stout (they use real beet juice for an earthy take on the London Pub stout). Bring the entire family, and order food from the food trucks outside, which rotate weekly. " - anne cruz, clare lagomarsino, keith hernandez, chanize thorpe

Our go-to spot! We absolutely love the ambiance and the indoor/ outdoor vibe at Lasting Joy Brewery. + It’s family friendly, which makes it even better for us. The aesthetic is inviting, and there’s something for everyone. My boyfriend enjoys the ILOVIT beer, and I appreciate the canned cocktails and wine options (for those of us who are gluten-free). While we already loved the place, Emily F. turned us into regulars. She’s always friendly, attentive, and makes an effort to remember our orders and check in on how we’re doing. Her great personality and exceptional service really stands out!!

We love this place, amazing service and very kind friendly! The space is beautiful, fire pits outside and games to play inside. Anytime we visit the area this is a mandatory stop for us!

Google
Great brewery with cozy bar. Make sure you take your always-sober friend with you. Their beetroot stout is really a pure joy!

Google
The beers were excellent. The brewery looks new, very nice inside. Big outdoor area as well. Friendly staff. Awesome place.

Google
Finn place to get a beer, let the kids run around but also lots of games inside. Was busy enough to feel a vibe but could still get a table. The pizza popup was dwliah but of course a limited menu. There was cute merch and cans to go. Large outside area with volleyball and plenty of seating and parking! There were only 2 ipas which are my fav (onw was not very hazy/neipa for me, but the other was awesome almoat like a sour! Bought some to go). Beautiful inside and out.

Google
What a fabulous place! An absolute must for everyone! Dog and kid-friendly. They have a large variety of delicious beers, non-alcoholic drinks also available. The staff is super friendly. The building itself is phenomenal, and it's so beautiful to sit outside in their Adirondack chairs or at a picnic table.

Google
Beautiful event space inside and outside. Friendly service. Nice selection of beers, cocktails, and other beverages. Supplemented by food trucks.

Google
What an adorable, dog and kid friendly brewery. First the location is BEAUTIFUL. from the building to the outdoor fire pit and picnic area, there is plenty of opportunity to find a place to relax. They offered plenty of board games and had a food truck on premise to grab a bite. We loved our time here.

Yelp
Lasting Joy Brewery is worth the drive & trip! The brewery is beautiful in and out. Friendly and accommodating service. The space is comfortable and great for family and friends. Food was limited the day I visited. They had snacks but no food truck.

Jes O.

Yelp
We went on a Friday evening. There was no food but they have scheduled food truck on certain days. If there's no food truck definitely bring some snacks. Dog and kid friendly. Place looks beautiful and comfy. Outdoor area is nice and roomy. Service was good. Beers are a bit pricey at $10 a pop. I had their ipa which was pretty good. They have a cute lil apparel section where you can purchase their merch.

Yelp
Cool place to hang. All year. Great selection beers! Friendly service. Defines - fun. A great energy all around.

Yelp
I'll begin with, "Happy 1 year anniversary," and I'll predict many, many more. This place is great, and the space is amazing. We'll start with the space. As you walk from the parking lot to the brewery, you'll pass by rows and rows of barley plants. At the brewery itself, you have a wide variety of seating choices. There's a very large and comfortable indoor area where you order your drinks, and you can sit at small or large tables, with a small variety of games available. Then there's the patio, and on the side you'll see numerous outdoor games/activities available such as cornhole and frisbees. Outside you have general seating, a large picnic area, and sets of chairs around fire pits. Today, in front of the entrance, there was a food area serving smoked meats and roasted vegetables. The beer list is equally enticing. Flights of 4 beers are available for $17.00. Mine included a Belgian Wheat, and their 3 darker beers. The English Beet Stout is intriguing - don't worry about whether or not you actually like beets, their taste is not prominent in the beer at all. More interesting to me was their Mint Condition Stout, with hints of chocolate and peppermint. My one minor disappoint is that not all the beers are available in cans to take home with you - in some cases it's only smaller growlers. Other than that, this is a fantastic spot for a get-together of groups (with dogs too) of any size.

Yelp
I really want to adore this stylish brewery. But our experience was severely stunted by the other guests. After moving from the bar to the two farthest corner seats of the brewery, we were still fully aware six children were running laps around the bar. Jumping on the couches running around...not the desired mood for an adult establishment on a Friday evening unfortunately.

Brian B.

Yelp
An absolutely beautiful location, and a wide variety of options to choose from: core styles and d seasonal releases. The Kolsch was quite good, as was the ILOVIT (Vienna lager).

Michele L.

Yelp
Beautiful setting. Great selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. Friendly service. Perfect for any season.

Yelp
Such an awesome addition to the local beer scene! Visited for the first time recently and I know I'll be back whenever I'm in the area. First of all, the brewery itself is STUNNING. My fiancé and I kept joking that we need to cancel our wedding plans and just get married here. Aside from the beautiful tap room, there are lots of fire pits, outdoor tables, and even a food truck outside. There were some lawn games as well, basically everything you need to keep your entire crew (even little ones! Seemed very kid-friendly) happy. I tried the hazy IPA and the pumpkin ale and really liked both. We had to pick up a 4-pack of the IPA on the way out we liked it so much, and the pumpkin ale was light, but spicy and cozy in the best way. Both inside and out are dog friendly, and the staff was really helpful. Can't say a bad thing about this spot!

Yelp
Setting: middle of nowhere, secluded, and perfect Ambience: modernist industrial cabin vibe Beer: excellent beer. 1. The Octoberfest was perfect. 2. English Beet Stout- excellent stout, beets sweeten slightly but don't dominate. 3. Cherry Saison- wow! Incredible. Food: Food truck outside, inside small selection of artisanal salami (whole), interesting crackers, and soft cheese. The artisanal salami is good but no prices were posted. Turns out it was $35, but it was worth it. Would have been nice to have prices posted in the cooler. Overall cleanliness: excellent Bathroom cleanliness: above average Pets and kids: both welcome and good setting for both with lots of outdoor seating and space to run and play Misc: free wifi (you may need it because cell service is spotty)

Yelp
Had a great time at Lasting Joy. Very let friendly which was wonderful and the beers we tried were great. They had lots of games to play while drinking too which was fun. We went during a food truck day which worked out well to grab a bite.

Yelp
Lasting Joy Brewery is brand new and very impressive. The property and space is unique and is sure to "wow" you upon your first visit. I recommend their beet beer and IPA (the only two I tasted). Both were amazing and if I stayed longer, I'd have ordered these again. Parking is near the road, so expect to walk about 100 yards from your vehicle to the taproom if it's crowded. The interior is well designed with ample barstools and a few couch areas. Outdoors are Adirondack chairs and some tables. Each section of the brewery is purposeful and stunning. After ordering some brews check out the swag table. Clothing is high quality and affordable. We'll definitely be back. I recommend arriving after 6:30pm to have a chance to see the lighting within the brewery as it gets darker. What an experience...

Yelp
Beautiful brewery with a wonderfully designed modernist/industrial building. On the day I visited, there was a food vendor selling some tasty dishes, and a musical trio performing in the courtyard. The mac and cheese was phonemenal, as was the beer. There is seating outside - tons of picnic tables in a covered area, as well as adirondack chairs scattered throughout the grounds. Very pretty and picturesque location to drink good beer.

Catharine N.

Yelp
In the middle of the Catskills area lies the most beautiful brewery I have seen in the east coast. Ambiance: Huge industrial building that was highly impressive. Walking in, you feel like you are in a glamorous cabin. Has a WOW factor Beer: Not the best beer I have had Parking: Plentiful If I am in the area, would definitely stop by again!

Lara G.

Yelp
This is a beautiful space with good beers. Good use of outdoor area with fire pits in colder weather. Flights of beers offered so you can try multiple. Food truck usually on site. Great spot for families. Excellent sunset views. Lots of parking.

Lauren B.

Yelp
I've been to Lasting Joy twice now in the short time it's been open, and I've thoroughly enjoyed myself both times! Walking up to the brewery feels like you're stumbling unto a true hidden gem - the architecture inside and out is impressive to say the least. The grounds are also extensive, so you have lots of options of where to perch with your pints. I have really enjoyed their beers - they have a good mix of IPAs, darker beers, quirky flavors, and lighter styles. I would personally recommend their Pumpkin Ale and Smoke Follows Beauty. The staff are all very friendly, and the atmosphere is kid- and dog-friendly, with live music and food trucks on the weekends. Really cool place to check out!

Yelp
The grounds look like a great place to hang out on a sunny day or warm night. I'll probably give it another try on a day like that. I visited on a rainy day so it made more sense to stay inside. The building is very modern and at first is seems very cool. However the acoustics in the building are so bad I had to leave. I called ahead of time for information and I couldn't understand a thing the person was saying. It sounded like the place was packed and she was screaming into the phone. It turns out that the sound inside the tasting room is just horrible and everything sounds like that. Its all glass and laminated beams which look cool , but every noise bounces off of the hard surfaces and bombards your ears with noise pollution. There were two dogs inside that kept barking and it felt like someone was stabbing my ears with a pencil. The brewery owners should add some way to kill the noise in that building. If you are a dog owner, stop apologizing and bring your dog outside or leave it at home. The staff should enforce some sort of dog standard IMO. They bark once, a look/warning, 2 - 3 times send them outside. The sheet steel walls I don't get. They are going for a farm vibe and then slam you into some industrial park. Its weird. The beer was OK but nothing great. Some were priced at a $1/ounce!!! They had no NEIPA on tap when I visited which is a huge letdown since its the most popular beer style and we are adjacent to New England. I think this place can be really great if they fix the noise problem. I don't think this place is for me though. The vibe was rich upper class and I am not that.

Chris T.

Yelp
What a lovely brewery! It is out in the middle of no where but the building and grounds are gorgeous. Beer: beer stout was fabulous! Full of body. The pumpkin beer was very good and nice balance of pumpkin to spice. The Oktoberfest was best I ever tasted! Bathroom: small, toilet paper can be a challenge to remove from the rim. There are toilet paper pieces all over the floors, but bathroom is clean.

Allison H.

Yelp
I think Catherine N summed up this place perfectly. We enjoyed walking past the field of 'our next glass of beer' as the sign said. Walked up to a huge industrial building which was quite modern and spacious inside. They do tours of the distillery should you like. We had come to taste the beer. Well, two out of 3 of us had. Also to grab some lunch. If you are someone who does not drink beer or drink at all there are options available. I tried the cider which was quite enjoyable. Nice and dry. A flight was ordered and shared between the other two with quite generous portions. To quote them 'I'm glad we decided to share'. I need to add however neither like craft beer. We enjoyed our time sitting outside playing cards and enjoying the weather while we ate our gyro. They did supply games there as well which I thought was a nice touch. The big plus was dogs were allowed on leashes. So the whole family is welcome.

Yelp
We absolutely loved this space. It was welcoming and open and fresh. We sat outside and enjoyed a nice breeze on the hot summer afternoon. It's a great space for families and groups. The Czech Pilsner and the Hazy IPA were delicious and refreshing. They only had 4 of their own beers and some from other breweries, ciders and shrubs. They had a Greek food stand/truck that was also delicious. This brewery is definitely worth checking out.

Colleen W.

Yelp
One of the prettiest breweries we've ever gone to. They also have wine for the non-beer drinkers. Beer selection was good and beer was yummy!! Lots of outdoor space. Food truck was here but we didn't eat.

Ashley P.

Yelp
Been wanting to visit here for months and finally did. Love the ambiance and great beer selection! Would definitely come here again.

Sensi V.

Yelp
Five stars for the beautiful architecture and friendly service. The location is definitely worth a visit. Small and large parties welcome. All bartenders were super friendly and attentive. I started with a flight, of course. I was not in love with any, but they were tasty. I wish they had more than one IPA when I visited. Overall, I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Alison R.

Yelp
Love this beautiful pastoral outdoor space and the modern high level design of their buildings. Truly a go to place here in the Hudson Valley. Staff is warm and welcoming. The bar is absolutely gorgeous and located inside the high vaulted ceiling of had hewn beams and warm wood surround. The seating is cozy, comfortable and sleek. Our drinks were excellent, including local and wine- mine was a lovely Rose! Yesterday we enjoyed Oh My Gyro Pop Up food stand with Asia's Greek food, all homemade and AMAZING!!! Such a fabulous idea to include Pop up food stands and it added to the whole experience and enjoyment. Take a peek at the side open outdoor seating, corn hole games and a peek into the incredible brewery area roped off for safety. Can't say enough about this diamond of a place here in our Hudson Valley region. Tell all your fam and friends about Lasting Joy. Owners are truly wonderful along with their Brew team and bar

Troy F.

Yelp
Great new place and pet friendly!! I will be going back and bringing my girls! It is a great addition to the Hudson River Valley!

Anders B.

Yelp
Super nice staff, very clean, nice indoor and outdoor space. Wish there was more escape from the sun. Congrats on a nice venue and welcome to the neighborhood!

Caarin F.

Yelp
Had the loveliest time here yesterday afternoon. Gorgeous comfortable space, delicious hazy ipa on tap, and the amazing talents of Mick Lynch singing every song I've ever loved. Dogs welcome. Just the best vibe. I'll be back.

Eric G.

Yelp
Great selection of craft beer and terrific ambiance. The food trucks were excellent as well.

Mark C.

Yelp
i recently attended an event at the Lasting Joy Brewery on a beautiful weekend in Oct the joy didnt last too long. It was clear to me that the staff was not properly trained or informed. The room wasnt heated and the food from a food truck was gross, the parking lot isnt paved or light. Yes an unsafe dark lot filled with rocks an accident waiting to happen. Now the beer-YUCK. Over priced, poor taste. All the mixed drinks are prepackaged which i guess is fine since the barteners couldnt make a drink if they had too. they were very good at cleaniing bar glasses.

J W.

Yelp
I'm still sitting here and can't wait to come back. This is literally the nicest tasting experience you could want. Gorgeous, spacious, light-filled. Couches, a sparkling bar with soaring ceilings, dogs allowed, food vendors, an idyllic woodsy setting, tents to sit outside, music playing. People lounging about in calm comfort...it's all the delights of a chill music festival with none of the inconveniences, and all the great beer you could want. Also! Reasonably priced!!!

Leia P.

Yelp
Such a beautiful place! The beer selection had something for everyone. The best part was the cleanliness of Lasting Joy. I felt so safe and comfortable on the very clean furniture and bathroom. The bathroom design was very thoughtfully planned and I enjoyed my experience here so much in part, because of that.

Randal R.

Yelp
Went to Lasting Joy for drinks and lunch at Oh My Gyro! Great time and fantastic food! Loved the Greek Potatoes and Lamb Gyro!
