Late Night Tacos Philly

Tried the Birria taco and they were great. Good amount of meat, seasoned and cooked well, worth the price. Also trained the shrimp tacos l, they were good but felt like they could've used a bit more flavor but overall would recommend this place! Especially for the late night munchies 😋

I stumbled to this taco truck on a mix of spicy margaritas, ranch waters, white claws, and beers after the Italian Market Fest in which a bunch of jacked Italian dudes were climbing on top of each other to reach the summit of a greased up pole to grab some mozzarella cheese balls and Italian Sausages. It was madness. Philly is as advertised. I got to this truck in dire need of some calories. I was gonna get some Italian food at one of the booths but all the lines were so long and I just needed to get away from big crowds of people after being loaded in the sun all day. I get anxiety in big crowds and I’m really shy hehehe... I thought I ordered 2 tacos, but when the Taco Man rang me up for $24 I knew there had been some sort of miscommunication. I was lowkey mad and chin checked him, but when he said "Oh my god my fault I thought you wanted two orders of 3 birria tacos. I'll fix that right now" in the most sincere tone you ever heard, I felt bad. I told him not to worry about it and that 6 tacos would probably not be the worst thing for me right now, as I was spiraling. God got me though. After about 5 minutes of going to WORK and cheffin, Taco Man handed me a laughably big bag to take to go. We got back to the apartment out of the sun's diabolical radiation, and I went to WORK on these juicy Birria tacos. They were honestly solid tacos. The birria was juicy and tender with little taco juice squirting out on every bite as it should. The tortillas were also made properly as they were cooked in some kind of oil that isn't healthy, but is delicious. Real Mexican style, you wouldn't get it... Well, I actually only ate 3 of these in this sitting and air fried the rest the next day. Air fryers are actually so underrated it's insane. Were these the best tacos I ever had? I love this taco truck omg so delicious. So much flavor!!!!!! Garlic steak burritos 🌯 are delicious. One thing I wish they'd do though is go back to white rice in the burritos 🌯 😫

The tacos here are absolutely delicious! Ingredients taste fresh with excellent flavor in every bite. And best part, food comes out nice and hot (birria is hot enough to a takeout trip back home). Make sure you try the chipotle shrimp and the birria! You won't be disappointed with either. Great place to stop by if your near Pat's and Gino's.

Some of the most fire tacos I’ve ever had. Can’t believe it’s here in philly. Get the al pastor, you won’t be disappointed. The chicken is great too. The craving I get for this place at midnight is impossible to deny

It was a beautiful night the weather was rite the atmosphere was a vibe couples everywhere & then to top it off the quesadilla and the Barria tacos were delicious. They were so tender. The juice was maculate. I would definitely recommend 10 out of 10 quick and easy not too pricey.

These tacos are slappin! I got the beef, added cilantro and onions. Simple food, done right! I will be back again.

Good food but they dont deliver when you order. Just sit for an hour and nobody picks up the phone

Good portions, and average tacos are what you can expect from Late Night Tacos. My order consisted of 1 Tacos Special (4 tacos to an order) which was supposed to contain "Pineapple Pork". I don't think that's what I received, as you'll see from the photos. The "Pineapple Pork" is served in 6" corn tortillas, raw onions, fresh corn, and sour cream. The second entree was Tacos Special (4 tacos to an order) with Carne Asada on 6" corn tortillas, caramelized onions, fresh corn, and sour cream. There was steak in the tacos, along with caramelized onions. However, the meat was not soft, nor tender, and needed to slow cook longer. The hot sauces included 2 varieties of spiciness, were served in tiny containers on the side, along with sour cream, upon request. When over half the order isn't correct, and the other half is average, Late Night Tacos has an appropriate name- when nothing else is open, and if you just arrived home from a bar or just smoked your medical marijuana, and have the munchies, that's the appropriate time to order from here. Otherwise, look for better options.
