I had a late dinner in this French eatery, recommended by the Michelin guide, the second Friday of June 2025. They offer a rather restricted menu where my only real criticism is the lack of true vegetarian alternatives. This might be expected when you learn the owner couple is from Britany, more a sign of my preconceived ideas than reality. I had my first snails served in a Comté cheese preparation followed by a very good but not so tender chicken breast cooked at low temperature and dressed with morels. There are no local wines on offer, partly because the clients expect a French restaurant to serve French wines and partly because local wines can not be kept for any longer period of time, which I can indeed confirm from personal experience. Typically, the husband cooks and his wife serves the clients with a lot of fun comments and time for everyone. She speaks an unusually good English for a Frenchie which should encourage foreigners to stop by for some excellent food. Overall good value for money.
