Fire closes Atelier by Radex - Eater Denver

"An electrical fire closed the approachable French restaurant that opened in 2017. Chef and owner Radek Cerny posted the news on his Facebook page, according to Westword. The restaurant plans to reopen. In February, Radex closed his longtime L’Atelier in Boulder after a 16-year run." - Susan Stapleton

We went there for new years eve, food is amazing. But wait time is super long even we had reservation. Otherwise, good service even it take forever.

We usually save this place for occasions and are always pleasantly surprised by the chef's new twists and creations. Great intimate atmosphere, the service is not always great, but most of the time it is.

Old School is the New School. Farm fresh, elegantly prepared dishes complimented by a superb staff. Radek's daughter, Alexandrea is joining her father's passion and now runs the original, Boulder, location. It's a family affair!

Best dining I have had in Boulder. As it is over the upscale limit for our budget, we only go to a place like this occasionally. This is just the best ever. Our service was impeccable, our decor, the plating, the lighting, the small touches- all were so pleasing to the senses. The food was fabulous and we so enjoyed the intimacy of the restaurant, and the lack of pressure to eat quickly and make room for the next persons. Great experience.

We have been dining at L'Atelier for years, and they never disappoint! The appetizers are perfectly plated and the entrees are always done to our liking! They also have a great wine selection! The staff are very attentive and professional! I highly recommend this French restaurant!

Took my lady on valentine's day. Great food and wine ! The waitress was very polite, and friendly. Also her knowledge of wine was great. wine and food was delicious, but pricey. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a french/Asian style dishes. Will definitely return.

I rate this place poor because I must say that this place was excellent 4 years ago! They were serving real french food! However the food is very normal now when I tried it yesterday. The chef doesn't know how to cook seafood dish and the food taste too heavy. French food suppose to be light yet delicious and it should serve as small portion.( at least that is what I've seen when I was in France) In my opinion, they charged too much for what the food should have been. Plus, I don't think it's french food. It's more of American food. But, their raw duck meat was very good. Wine was excellent. Deserts were good as well. Go try and compare with other places and you will know what I am talking about!
