L'Atelier Des Saveurs by Stéphane GARCIA - La Colle sur Loup (06 480)

Our time at this beautiful restaurant was fabulous! The food was really delicious and everything was served with an eye for detail. The owner is a really kind and absolutely friendly women. We really enjoyed it here and I hope that we can come back to enjoy her amazing meals sometime.

We had two dinners à L’Atelier. One was a set menu for New Year’s eve and the other we were able to order a La carte. Both evenings were wonderful. Very friendly service, nice wine list, our food was well plated and the flavors were incredible.

The food and service were excellent. A nice atmosphere combined with delicious food, good drinks and friendly service. We would love to come back. The couple who gave two 1-star reviews complained for no reason. They claimed that they had to catch a flight, but they were still sitting in our hotel having breakfast the next day. The complaint that she cannot eat tuna is also incomprehensible, as she explicitly mentions in other reviews that she ordered tuna. They also didn‘t wait for 1,5 hours as they stated in their reviews. In my opinion, this couple only gives bad reviews—you can see that on their profiles (Anna Mork & Alexandar Stojcevski) In my eyes, this is outrageous—these two posts should be deleted.

Aboslutely marvelous! Excellent food, friendly service and warm ambiance. An absolute gem for every food lover.

Prepared the wrong main course for us. We do not eat tuna, so unfortunately we had to stick to our choice. We had already spent 1.5 hours on the first course and we had an early flight, so when we heard it would take additional 20 minutes, we tried to say that we just wanted to pay for the Wine and the first course and just leave. We ended up paying for almost all of it even though they made the mistake. The service was super rude and the food we had vas OK, but not nearly as good as what we had at every other place we ate in the area.

We had an amazing meal here. The food and wine was great. We will definitely come back here again next time we are in the area.

The food was great and the service was good but we waited 3 ½ hours for 3 plates of food which is extremely slow for food that was overcooked and shows that the chef aren’t very well co-ordinated, after when we went to go tell them about it the chef got extremely defensive and tried to push the blame on us for being 15 minutes late as there was a community event and it was a struggle to find a place to park. Overall it took way too long and we ended up leaving before getting our desert.

A thoroughly wonderful eating experience. The location is, if not ideal business-wise, quite charming and peaceful; but the food was certainly the absolute highlight. Innovative while remaining accessible, clearly made from great ingredients by an exceptional chef, and all-around delicious. Considering the cuisine and location in somewhat touristic southern France, the prices were completely reasonable. It should be noted that, in my opinion, not everyone can always appreciate the type of food made here. If you're planning to eat at this restaurant, you should come not only with an empty stomach but also with an open mind and a lot of time to spare to allow yourself to process what you're eating. Having said that, I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to everyone who appreciates slightly more refined cuisine. To point out a minor issue, the staff was somewhat overworked, but I personally was not bothered much by this; taking in a meal of this class takes some time anyway.
