Charming restaurant in old Colmar. I loved my starter (Fricassé de girolles, ravioli de pomme de terre, noisette torréfiée, citron et jus relevé au soja). The main course was also very good but a little less interesting, in my opinion. I need to clarify that my main course was not on the menu. I am vegetarian and there is no vegetarian main course option on the menu (maybe something worth adding 😉). As mentioned, this was not a problem at all as the Restaurant found a great solution for me. Thanks for the flexibility! I definitely recommend it

Excellent restaurant of highest food quality in the heart of Colmar. Very calm and smooth atmosphere, it was not noisy although it was a busy Saturday evening. The Grand Menu is excellent from beginning to the end. Great balance of dishes with emphasis on the fish, overall great tastes, visually very appealing . The dessert burrata with lemon twist was a particular positive surprise. The wine list is as extensive as great with splendid regional wines. Service is very kind and friendly, but there seems to be no clear assignment to the table which made orders sometimes and especially the payment lengthier than needed. However, this is highly recommended.

Excellent experience. Menu was creative and consistent across courses in terms of execution and presentation. Wines suggested by the sommelier were well chosen and paired well with the food. High level service.

What an evening to remember we took the 7 course meal one after the other came perfectly balanced dishes in perfect timing giving enough time to let the previous dish sink in and the conversation to develop and exactly when we were ready the next perfect dish appeared all coupled with excelent wines to complement We strongly recommend

We had a lovely time. First of all the restaurant has a serene and calming atmosphere. Very peaceful. Second of all the food, which is something you set high expectations for in a Michelin; and that's been rewarded completely! The food does honour to the restaurants name and therefore is very colourful and vibrant, very creative. I enjoyed that besides all of it being super fresh, it was also very healthy, each meal was refreshing and also very delicious. Lastly the staff, because for me that can make or break a more luxury dining experience. Well they definitely made it; typical French passion for the food and for the good service. Little details like personal interest and taking good care of the guests, lots of humor and no lack of kindness. Special thanks for them acknowledging my boyfriends birthday as well with a beautiful extra dessert!

Amazing overall experience! We ordered the 5 course meal and were truly fascinated by the delicious creations. For vegetarians, it was possible to order the same meal with small adaptations - also very tasty. Huge compliment not only to the kitchen staff but also the waiters.

Food was nice. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not provide a pairing options for dishes, but sommelier was happy to help with it. Our waiter was always busy with other guests, which is not good. The airco/ventilation could be better, on the 3rd hour of the dinner we were feeling nauseous because of the lack of air.

Very delicious ! Service is friendly and professional! Love the idea of the chef making every dish as a painting! Only one thing need to complain is after I ordered the glass of red wine ( 10 € ) and the personnel recommend me another more more flavored one , in the end on the bill and I realized the wine he recommend is 25 € !! That’s not a very comfortable feeling !

Full disclosure, I'm not a gourmet and this was my first michelin restaurant, so I'm probably easily impressed. I chose this restaurant as a stand in for Thanksgiving. It jumped out as a memorable experience. As you would expect the service was excellent, we were greeted at the door, our coats were taken. A table was ready for us, with a high chair for our baby. All of the staff worked well as a team and we dealt with everyone in the restaurant during our stay. In particular the server who took our orders was very knowledgeable and her English was excellent. The wine server did well but I could tell was a little less comfortable communicating in English but did guide us to some excellent wine based on our preferences. The decor felt hip and fresh. Bright white with darker wood work, openings in the wall provide a small division of the dining area while making it feel open and airy. The silver wear and plates were simple which leaves the food the center of attention. The lighting is warm and there is a small amount of modern art decorating the walls. The food was all very precisely prepared. I like a variety of flavors and foods so the grande galleries with 7 courses suited me well. The courses are pretty small, if you order a la carts you get a slightly larger portion. For example I got a plate with 4 scallops, my mother in law who ordered that specifically had 5. The textures were the most incredible part, with soft oyster-like jellyfish, thick custard like flavor custard, frozen beet disks. A pair of hor'doerves accompanies the meal complimentary. There may be a few things that don't jive with a more conservative palat, but they also had a nice lamb shop and quails coquette that would satisfy most diners. Definitely pricey, I paid 89€ for the gallerie, but I felt the quality of the food and service were up to it. I'll let more refined goers make the determination about how it compares with other gourmet restaurants, but if you are a foodie that wants a fancy meal while you are visiting France, make the trip here.

Lovely foie gras paté as a starter served with a carmelized pineapple and some delicate Indian chai spices as well as a side of rum-infused jam. My friend had a lobster salad with avocado and a bouillon foam with delicious little wild mushrooms. My main was a turbot that was like eating pure butter served with a cauliflower mash that was as sweet as candy. Just perfect!

The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely, the staff are very friendly. The entire menu is in French and the food was awful. I had to send back my main due to an extremely fishy taste and my friends filet was very undercooked to the point where she couldn't finish her meal. I ordered the asparagus appetizer after sending back my main and they brought out three tiny pieces of asparagus (not even full pieces) and that cost over €20. I would not recommend eating here.

It's a michelin 1 star and is right next to where we stayed in Colmar. We reserved for 2 for dinner. Its food especially the egg souflee is so beautiful that we didn't want to take a bite to ruin that :D All in all everything is wonderful and on par with its star
