If I could describe this place in one word, it would be… Wow From the moment you walk in, you are greeted like family. Paolo and Valeria are extremely friendly. The atmosphere is perfect. Now let’s get to the food. I ordered a Chicharron sandwich, a piece of flan, and an in Inka-Cola. On that first bite, I instantly felt like I was back in Peru. The crunch of the bread, the freshness of the salsa criolla, the sweetness of the potato, all mixed together into one flavor, packed bite. The flan was sweet and delicious, firm yet smooth. If I could upload a soundbite of how crunchy the sandwich was, I would I will definitely be back over and over again as this is definitely a taste of home!!!

I saw a foodie influencer’s review of this place and sent it to my Peruvian boyfriend. He immediately said we have to go the next day. First impression, the staff here is so friendly and welcoming. Excellent customer service, even walked us through the menu selection. The bakery is also so cute as well as clean. Bonus that it’s in a beautiful area with outdoor seating. After eating lunch, I had to take some sweets to go. On our way out we met the owner’s mom who was so sweet to us. This was such a great experience. We will be back to try more items!

A must when you are in Austin!! The staff is kind and welcoming. Plenty of parking out front. A quaint little bakery with a lot of delicious options. I appreciate that they have vegan, gluten free, dairy free options! My favorite is the bread pudding. They also have hot coffee drinks, cortados, lattes and more!! Stay and enjoy a sweet treat or take something to go.

Nice place, nice people. Very friendly and warm employees. Coffee not so good, watery, I had an Americano. Sandwiches were great. We tried the pan con chicharron and butifarra. The ají was bubbly for some reason... Ordered 3 desserts torta de chocolate very dense and not much flavor, pie de Limon, Extremely sweet and the bread had a soapy taste. And passion fruit cheesecake. Which was not bad. Maybe I'll come back for breakfast sandwiches but not for sweets. Im peruvian and was disappointed for the sweets. The place was very clean and nice tho.

Latin Bakery is wonderful ! We enjoyed a rich, decadent chocolate cake and a perfectly flaky chocolate croissant—and I’ve also tried their savory pastries before, which are equally delicious. Absolutely blown away by this gem of a bakery! As someone who truly loves sweets and good pastries. This place is an absolute gem. Every single item I tried was phenomenal. The cakes are moist, flavorful, and have that perfect balance of sweetness. The carrot cake? Hands down the best I’ve ever had — not overly sweet, super moist, no raisins (which I really appreciate!), and just the right amount of cream. And the frosting? I usually skip the frosting on cakes, but not this time — it was so tasty, smooth, and light. I finished every last bite. The chocolate cake was unreal — the layers were insanely moist and not too sweet, while the frosting brought just the right amount of richness. Together, it was perfection. And the banana Nutella muffin… I don’t even have the words. The flavor, the texture, the moisture — it was all spot on. I’ve always appreciated desserts that taste like more than just sugar, and this place nails it. You can truly feel the love and attention put into every item. Everything tastes fresh, homemade, and created with care. The customer service was just as sweet — I was helped by the kindest young woman who made the visit even better. This is the kind of place I’ve been hoping to find for a long time, and I genuinely wish them all the success in the world. I’ll definitely be coming back — probably too often!

If you haven’t tried this bakery yet, you’re missing out!! I’ve ordered delivery six times now (😅) and tried nearly everything on the menu. Haven’t made it in person yet, but based on what I’ve experienced so far, it’s absolutely worth it. The standouts: Alfajores, Dubai Chocolate Brownie, Pork Chicharrón Sandwich, Peruvian Chocolate Cake — all of it hits!! I am placing a large catering order and spoke with Cecilia on the phone. She was genuinely lovely, made everything easy, and clearly cares about what they’re doing there. I cannot rave about her and this gem of a spot enough! This is the kind of place that deserves your support. Must try! 🤤

super cute bakery! the cuban and turkey person sandwiches were so good ill definitely be back. would also recommend the peruvian chocolate cake, 10/10! everyone was so nice and helpful, glad to have tried the latin bakery and can’t wait to try more of their menu!!

I was in search a piece of dessert and Yelp led me to Latin Bakery Austin. It is at the intersection of Highway 620 and 2222. The bakery features Peruvian bakery treats both sweet and savory. They are known for authentic Latin American flavors. According my very enthusiastic server, Latin Bakery's popular items are Tres Leches Cake, Red Velvet Parfait, and Alfajores (shortbread cookies with dulce de leche). Another standout is the carrot cake, which I selected for my hubby. Another bakery favorite includes the chocolate cake. They also have a selection of empanadas (spinach & ricotta, beef, and Aji chicken) and the Peruvian Butifarra sandwich. Will have to return to try these... My server gave me two samples - brownie cookie and alfajore. I fell completely in love with the alfajore and bought one. The dulce de Leche was distinctive but not overly sweet as I was expecting. I savored every bite of the cookie...so stinking good! My hubby loved the carrot cake - spices, denseness and succulent frosting. It was early in the morning, so a very chill vibe,

Wrote bringing my friend to the airport, I wanted her to experience this wonderful bakery. Everything is so fresh, and beautifully displayed. Today they had samples of a brownie, it was so moist, so chocolatey, with just a little salt on top, really brings out the chocolate flavor. So delicious . I got an apple and cinnamon empanada the employee was so kind to warm it up a little. The empanada had some cinnamon and sugar on top. When you cut into it you can see small diced apples. It was perfectly heated, and juicy, and sweet. The crust was light and flaky. Wonderful pastry. I highly recommend coming here. They also make sandwiches, which I haven't had yet, but one of these days I certainly will.

Ordered two cakes for pickup for a party, and everything was perfect! The cakes were individually boxed and ready for pickup on time. Both were so pretty and delicious. The carrot cake was perfectly textured and the ideal mix of spice and sweet, and the chocolate was full-bodied and rich and seemed to only get better with time. Definitely more than enough for our 11 person party to feast on for a couple days. The location is hard to spot from the road, but if you turn in at HEB or Target you can wind through the parking lot to get there.

It's a cute little shop set up well with Alfajores!!! Yeah I love those things!!! So I had to visit!! The people are so nice and helpful. I had a beef empanada Peruvian style. The crust is more of a cornbread type of crust... they warmed it up for me. :) I'm not used to that type of crust but the beef filling had a good flavor!! I may have to eat two or more next time I stop by!! And I took a chocolate covered alfajor home for the next coffee/tea break.

I had to try this little hidden gem hiding by the Four Points Target shopping center. The owners are Puerto Rican and all their stuff has a Latin twist hence Latin Bakery. It does have some outdoor seating and the inside is cute little small spot. Met up with a friend and our babies for morning coffee. They have variety of sweets and i just wish i could have tasted them ALL. My Weakness called me and i had to try their passion fruit cheesecake. I really loved it just enough sweetness and tartness. It was a little on the thicker and denser side cheesecake but it was still amazing. I love that they offer Oat and Almond milk for the coffee for those of us who can't stomach regular milk. They do have daily fresh croissants and baguette which is game changer. Will have to go back and try something else. Highly recommend it if you in the area.

I truly already thought I gave this place five stars! They are extremely welcoming and kind. Their desserts are fabulous! So many unique flavors. I love that they have gluten-free and vegan free options. Everything is truly delicious. I cannot decide on a favorite a must stop when visiting Austin.

Stopped in again for a smattering of confectionery samples. Everything is excellent. They were out of the Tres leches which I think is the best but apparently, so does everyone else. The passionfruit cheesecake was really good. Never had that before. Love stopping here for dessert. Of course there's also sandwiches if you want to stop for lunch.

I ordered an assortment of cookies, brownies, and cake pops that needed to be individually wrapped for a school function. They don't usually do this but after a quick call they were more than willing to accommodate me. I was really impressed by their service and of course, how delicious everything was. I will definitely be back!

This place has it all. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. One of the workers saw me struggling to get my stroller in the door and courteously came over to help me in the door. The place itself is small and cozy but there were many customers that came through and the workers knew many by name and their favorite orders. I think the employee's name was Val and she helped me pick out different things to try. I ordered the Butifarra sandwich, a spinach empanada, the coconut flan, the mixed berry matcha cake, and pistachio almond. This bakery is about 30 mins away from me so I had to make it count. The sandwich is made to order and they warmed up the empanada. The sandwich was incredibly fresh and delicious. I will go back just for that. The spinach empanada had a bold flavor that was very salty and delicious. The pastries were mostly for my husband as those are his favorite combinations. Out of those, he loved the coconut flan and I liked the pistachio croissant the best. Everything was very light and fresh!

I stopped in on Friday to pick up a dessert for a dinner I was invited to on Saturday. There were 2 cakes in the display case, so I asked if they had any more flavors in the back. The girl at the counter said "No, that was all they had, but they're baked fresh daily"". So I chose the 6" Red Velvet Cake. It was $40, A lot of money for a small cake..but I was happy I didn't have to bake as my house was having work done. The next day we take it out of the fridge, (let it sit for 15 min) unbox it, take off the plastic strip and slice it. It was so dry it was inedible.?it crumbled like a month old cookie. I was embarrassed to have brought it and we had to skip dessert. I gave it 2 stars because I hate being mean, but that cake was a 1. We threw it in the trash.

Mixed Dessert Experience, But Will Try Again! With so many great reviews on Google and a recommendation from my favorite food blogger, I was really excited to try this place. The service was very nice, and they had a lot of variety on the menu. Since we were already pretty full when we arrived, we just ordered desserts--Pistachio Tres Leches Parfait and Lemon Cake. The Tres Leches Parfait was just average, especially for $8. I did like the Lemon Cake a bit more, but it still didn't quite meet my expectations. I've had their Tres Leches cake before when they were running the business from home, and it was amazing--so I'm not sure if it was just the specific item I ordered this time, or maybe an off day in the kitchen. Either way, I'll definitely give them another try. I know they're capable of better!

Massive addition to the Four Points. Baked goods at H-E-B suck, to put it mildly. This is a locally owned, curated cafe and bakery. Store is small but beautifully laid out and welcoming. I'm bummed I didn't take photos. But there are two cases: saborosa to the right and dolce left plus displays of cookies and baked goods across the counter and register area. You need to look around or else you will miss what's available if you get there before they get raided. I tried a chicken empanada that was really outstanding, light highly flavorful pastry with delicious chicken and pecan inside. Ate it before I left the parking lot. Got a box of various specialties, flan (they had two types!, moose, red velvet parfait and banana loaf plus a couple of cookies (their specialty Peruvian alfajor. Place is great. I hear anyone complain about prices go to HEB and buy a hostess cupcake and live mediocre if you choose. Best of luck to Latin Bakery!

Tried this place for the first time yesterday with my husband. Around 5:45pm, so almost at closing. We are impressed! We didn't order anything online, our experience comes from just walking in. We order spinach empanada, a slice of their pumpkin coffee cake, and tres leche parfait. Everything was delicious!! We are definitely fans. I believe the person who was front of house was one of the owners, the husband. He was very nice and even gave us two spinach empanadas for the price of one, just to be nice :) he did tell me that his wife was trying to close the shop down early instead of sticking to the posted closing hours, but I'm glad they didn't otherwise we wouldn't have gotten to try. Gotta account for those last minute customers like us. Anyways, we'll definitely be back. Im so excited to have a Latin bakery right around the corner from me. My family is Chilean, and I know that this bakery is Peruvian but I definitely see some similarities with some of the ingredients and it makes me feel closer to the homeland :)

Stopped by after hearing about their desserts and the selections were excellent Tried the passion fruit cheesecake and it became an instant favorite. On the savory side they gave several empanadas and also sandwiches. We will certainly be returning multiple times if only to sample new items and get our favorites to go.

This place is shockingly good. I ordered a chocolate cake for a birthday on a whim and after the first bite we all kind of looked at each other and went wow! I honestly think it's the best chocolate cake I've ever had. I went back today to for an empanada and it was also one of the best I've ever had. Locals, support this place! Non locals it's worth the drive up here!

Don't sleep on Latin Bakery! Tucked away & easy to miss as you're driving by on 2222, but oh so worth making the effort to stop in! Tiny, but with cute seating areas both inside & out. The array of temptations in this little gem of a bakery is phenomenal. Val, the barista provided a brilliant cup of coffee & great advice on all the goodies, both sweet & savory. I'm a lover of empanadas & the ham & cheese knocked it out of the park! I've got to come back to try some of the sweet treats. I can see there'll be many more stops here in the future for me!

Stopped in here yesterday with low expectation. The location is a little odd the name is a little generic. My expectation were immediately reset as I entered an adorable bakery and was greeted by one of Val, one of the nicest bakery managers I've ever met. She provided me with a "tour" of the offerings and sample of a delicious oatmeal cookie. I ordered a magnificent chicken salad croissant sandwich. Just based on the appearance of the lettuce I knew they were serious about quality. Also grabbed a few chocolate croissants which my family loved. Give this place a try. It's delish!

I decided to try out a new dessert place on ubereats after checking the yelp reviews. Honestly, I don't know how I feel about this. I guess I didn't think a box of 12 alfajor for $15 would mean they're smaller than the size of a French macaroons. I've had alfajor in Peru and they certainly were much bigger than what I end up getting at Latin Bakery. I believe the store should update their ubereats photo to what the actual size of the alfajor look like so costumers are not mislead and thus disappointed.

My husband brought home some cookies from here and they were so delicious! I particularly liked the sandwich cookies--they were perfectly thin, crispy, and buttery. He said the service was great as well. We will be going back!

YUM! My husband came home with a sandwich with the BEST bread, lots of veggies and tasty fresh meat. Will crave this sandwich! He also came home with the little shortbread cookie sandwich with caramel in the middle- amazing! We will return here. Give this place a shot!

We were so excited a bakery was coming to the Four Points area and hoped it would be great, and we are happy to report everything is delicious! Service was quick and friendly. We tried 2 types of empanadas ($4 each), the banana Nutella muffin ($3) and a Nutella chocolate chip cookie ($3) and they were all so good. Can't wait to come back and try more!

My Husband and I ordered their 9x13 Tres Leches Pastel for our friends birthday it was delicious! Not to mention the ladies were super cool and provided wonderful customer service especially the girl with the Adventure time tattoo and Doctor Who tattoo! It was a very chill place super warm and friendly!

It was my first time ordering from this bakery. I needed a tres leches right away, called in and they had one ready. The lady said it will have sprinkles and strawberries but when my son picked up the cake from the kitchen counter the cake didn't have strawberries. The cake was good like a homemade cake and not store bought.

Such a cute bakery and the woman helping us was beyond sweet with us and our daughter. Everything looked delicious so it took a while to decide. Can't wait to keep coming back!

Great service and beautiful cakes. I ordered a cake for my parents 50th anniversary and it couldn't have turned out more perfect. They loved the cake and we were sad to cut into it, but also wanted to eat up all that deliciousness. The cake was so tasty without being overly sugary or sweet. Recommend for any special events and so pleased with how quickly and professional the ordering process was.

I used to be a faithful customer. I still love their alfajores, some of the best I have ever had, but the last time I got food here, I was grossly disappointed. I received a bundt cake that came in pieces. I paid for the large empanadas and received the small ones. All-in-all the message I received is they don't care about or respect their customers and if they can pass off substandard, ready to toss food to their customers, they will.

Ordered a tres leches cake for my husband's birthday and it was one of the best tres leches cakes we've ever had. Lovely presentation with an option for delivery. I had a few custom cookies added on that were delicious as well! Would highly recommend Latin Bakery and hope to use again in the future. Yum!

Okay, I am not sure how to write this review without sounding creepy! I am dreaming about this cake...I ordered a Dulce de Leche Pionolo. It is one of the best things I have ever had. The sponge cake was perfect. Soft and flexible but not chewy. Perfect. The filling was La Lechera... like a quart of it. The sponge is rolled around the Lechera and then it is topped with a little powdered sugar and cinnamon.OMG. I totally tried this on a whim. I figured it would be frozen because it is baked in someone's house and doubted that they would bake it and have it ready for pick up within 2 hours but OMG it was baked just for my order and was ready within 2 hours. Totally fresh and hot. It will be my secret for now on for parties and pot lucks. Unless I eat it before...

The alfajores, Bruselina, Chocolate sheet cake, empanadas, I could go on.... everything they make is amazing. My favorite bakery!

Bruselina is my new favorite! I am a die hard fan chocolate cake with chocolate fudge but, with the hot weather the bruselina is light and fresh and delicious! With the weather cooling off I might be "forced" to go back to chocolate but I think I will be okay! Have ordered so many different things from Johana over the years and everything is great. If you want to dip your toe into Peruvian desserts try the alfajores. On the savory side (everything is good) but try the Butifarra - you will not be disappointed.

Sorry, it's taken me a while to finally write this review, but I've been so determined to make sure I write it! I needed a custom cake last minute for a friends dinner and called everywhere and could not place an order. Thankfully LatinBakery came through and was able to make a beautiful cake for my friends birthday dinner within that same week of placing it. I was confused on how to order the cake that I wanted, but communication between Johana was prompt and helpful! I would definitely recommend this bakery to my friends.

I ordered a tres leches cake with cookies on top from here. While the cake was fairly expensive, it was absolutely delicious. The cake was for a birthday, and the tres leches was definitely a step up from a grocery store tres leches cakes, and everyone loved it. You order from the website, and the pickup is at a house in the River City neighborhood area. I will definitely be ordering more from here

I've placed orders for three different parties and each time LatinBakeryAustin baked goods have been a super smash hit. The alfajores are so just amazing, they literally melt on your tongue, and the dulce de leche in them is perfection. I also brought a tres leches cake to a family party and people were raving about it and making comments like "best tres leches cake I have ever had"! Ordering through the website has been very easy and Johana answers messages/emails very promptly. The strongest recommendation that I can give is that I wouldn't hesitate to order more alfajores and desserts from LatinBakeryAustin and I am looking forward to trying more of her items when the opportunity arises.
