Latitudes Gallery - Ventura

Purchased these two pieces recently from Latitudes Gallery. We were looking to put up local art on our wall and we couldn't be happier with the results. We have received many compliments on our new art! In addition to the art being great, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly!

The art consultants at Latitudes go above and beyond to find the right piece for your space. I was looking at the “Mustard Flowers" piece and Susan was very helpful and knowledgeable about the California springtime series. Also, their website is awesome.

Purchased a 3 piece triptych on canvas after searching for the right piece for my living room for almost a year. The team helped with my specific dimensions and adjusted the panels to my sizing needs. 106 X 36 to cover a large wall above the couch. I was going with one picture and they (Monica) recommended another and ended up going with that one. Very satisfied.

While visiting Ventura I walked past Latitudes gallery and thought to pass some time I would see what they had...walked out with this baby and couldn't be happier. Great conversation piece. A bit nervous of how well it would ship, but I was impressed with the quality of packing when it arrived. I’m so happy we found this gallery on line. All the photos on line were so beautiful, it was hard to make a decision. We ordered and needed our items shipped. All 3 pieces came perfectly packaged. I’m extremely pleased with our canvas. I look forward to selecting another piece for our 2nd home!

We recently made a purchase while in Kauai of a beautiful wood slat picture. Steve and the team at Latitudes were awesome in getting the picture disassembled and delivered to us in Canada. It is now reassembled and hanging in our house and we love it. Thanks so much!

The Gallery staff were courteous and knowledgeable. They worked with me getting an extra large piece because I live nearby. The installers were particularly nice. They even had a laser level. I’ve never got U hooks correct on the first try and they managed to do just that. I love my new art. So does everybody else who sees it.

We went in today to exchange something and received excellent service from Tasha, who is super knowledgeable about the work the shop represents and about the Ventura area. When she found out we were looking for a piece for a particular space in our house she had us send her photos of our living room with dimensions and then she uploaded the pictures we were considering so that we could see them in the room. She did several different image options, sizes, and even orientations (horizontal and vertical). I asked for lots of scenarios and she was super patient. Pretty incredible technology and personalized attention! The shop features stunning, local photography. It's on on the Main Street and is a perfect place to stop as you are strolling through the boutiques and shops.

Great place to find unique & unusual pieces of art. There are some touristy items here. But it's mostly about the art. Prices vary due to what you pick and the sizes you pick and framing. Staff are friendly and willing to give you advice and answer your questions. Very nice layout and displays.

A laid-back art gallery with lots of blowups of local photographs. Friendly staff, with a constantly changing variety of art and reasonable prices compared to other upscale galleries. When walking Main Street, this is a pleasant place to wander in and check out the local art scene.

We bought 2 large framed pieces that are beautiful. This gallery has lots of local as well as Hawaiian photographic prints. The composition is lovely and the framing is top notch. You can custom order different sizes and matting and framing options. We came back and bought 2 mini photos that we framed ourselves. We received excellent customer service from Susan. Highly recommend!

Bought a beautiful piece today. Love this place. Looked at it a year ago and was in the area and decided to throw caution to the wind and but a large framed metal art photograph. So excited

Wow what a great local shop. I wish I lived here so I could buy so many pieces of their artwork and display it in my home. A great way to represent your town. Very clean store. But a little frazzled as far as artwork displayed everywhere. And different sizes of each piece displayed around the store. It's a little intimidating to look around and focus on what you what and if it's something smaller do they have it larger and visa versa. They also other offerings besides photo prints. Expect to take an hour to peruse the store. Longer if you're Interested in making a purchase. Here's a good tip; don't see what you like? The lovely sales associate was super helpful in helping me locate a piece I wanted in a larger canvas. When they didn't have what I was looking for hey offered to order it with free ship to store but not from ship to out of town. That's sort of a bummer since I would have ordered some things had it been free shipping. Especially considering the cost of the canvas. I highly recommend stopping in for a piece of the beach on your walls. Or a look at loo while out downtown shopping.

If you're looking for photographs of Ventura, this is the gallery to go to. This is the second location of Latitudes, which is owned by two photographers, both of whom specialize in scenic photography. The photographs came in a variety of sizes and some were printed on interesting medium, like wood and glass. Some pieces were framed, others were not. I spotted photographs of downtown Ventura, Ventura Pier, Anacapa Island, Two Trees, dolphins, whales, sea lions, crashing waves, etc. Some of the photographs are extremely vibrant and colorful. It's a nice looking gallery with two floors and brick walls. The grand opening special featured framed prints for $99 (regular price $150).

Latitudes is a nice art gallery on Main St. Ventura, very approachable, fun to explore. It doesn't have a snooty vibe, the art is simple, mainly landscapes, focused on the ocean and the beach (since you're minutes away from it), but with a twist. Prices are reasonable, it's a fun place to browse, you won't find the most original artwork in here, but some nice pieces you can buy and hang in your place, offer as a gift, find a souvenir. A little something to remind you of Ventura and its nice beaches.

If your looking for beautiful piece of affordable artwork this is the place to go. All local art from Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. Looking forward to the Arial shots of the islands. Keep it local people .

Love these pictures. I have a whole wall of them as I love the beach and the ocean these capture it so well. They have everything from huge murals to coasters. Worth a visit!

I stumbled across Latitudes Fine Art Gallery today and I am so surprised it took me so long to discover such an amazing local art gallery! The vibe is inviting and comfortable. The art is a true vision of Ventura! Stephanie Hogue is the owner and one of the photographers and all I can say is WOW! Her work captures our local beach scenery and more, to say she does a fabulous job is an understatement! I walked into the gallery and thought how lucky I am to live is such a gorgeous area! Tasha Cleaveland is the design consultant and she was a true sweetheart! Between Stephanie and Tasha I felt like a long lost friend by the time I walked out which is truly a breath of fresh air! I bought a gorgeous picture of the Ventura Pier for a client and I know she's gonna be over the moon to have this beautiful piece of artwork on her wall. I love this art studio. We were married at Serra Cross Park and they have several pictures of this historic and beautiful location. We had our favorite done on wood with ristic edges and grooves. It turned out better than I could have imagined. The girls there are so helpful, friendly, and know what they're talking about. We even got a handwritten note that they were happy for us that we "found ours". Thanks Tasha! We already know what our next piece is going to be, we just have to figure out where we want to put it. We will be back.

OMG I saw this guy's work online before I ever visited Ventura. Seriously I have his starfish pic as my desktop background. His work is really captures the beauty and color in nature.

Wow, what a selection! Latitudes Fine Art Gallery carries a broad selection of gorgeous photography, on so many creative different mediums. My favorites are their signature wood plank prints and photos on glass. The wood boards have photos printed right on the hand built wood medium! I have two of them in my home, and am quite addicted, and am having heck of a time picking out my next ones. Oh and the water photos look STUNNING on glass. Their photographs are a blend of local shots (their specialty), and scenery photographed around the globe. So many pretties to pick from. Their pricing takes a good hard jab at other art galleries, and is far more reasonable. The ambiance of the studio is superb, as it is nestled in a cool, historic, Ventura landmark building. Tons of shopping nearby, and free parking right around the corner. You'll thank me later for the tip, and be pleasantly surprised at what you can bring home with $$$ left in your pocket. Your walls will be filled with gratitude and brilliance thanks to Stephanie Hogue and Steve Munch. I'll be back... with a truck...

Very friendly staff!! I went to get a calendar and the lady who was working went out of her way to find me one in the back! We thought they were sold out but managed to find one for me! Very grateful and def worth the wait!!

A huge selection of reasonably priced fine art photography. A vast collection of dolphin and ocean prints. Some really nice work from local artist.

We were spending the day enjoying the shops on Main Street and wandered into this gallery, the art work was stunning, the prices about average for these types of works, We were greeted as soon as we entered and told a little about the gallery and was left to browse. The works were varied from paintings to photographs from small to cover almost the whole wall pieces, I really like that it represents the local area,

First visit to Latitudes Fine Art Gallery over Easter Weekend and was blown away! Artwork is gorgeous, photographs breathtaking. Can't wait for my next trip to SoCal so I can visit again!

Awesome gallery with so many beautiful images taken mostly in the Ventura area. They have images sized anywhere from postcard sized to full wall sized. They can produce any of the images at any size you want, they even do triptychs. We saw a small panoramic photo we liked of the ocean and they said it's totally customizable (though you do have to keep the aspect ratio of the original photo in mind) so you can get the photo sized perfectly for your space!

Love this place! Found them a couple of years ago at the Ventura Harbor and then was pleasantly surprised when shopping on Main Street to see that they had moved to a very cool space. Both Steve & Stephanie really capture the essence of Ventura.

Well, I must say I like it, I like it alot. As previously mentioned, the artwork on planks is cool. I also like the ones that look like they are on glassy surface, and the regular canvas stuff. I am drawn to the beachy themes, marine life etc. This is the stuff I always doodle when my brain is trying to focus. Nice place.

Visited on our recent trip to CA from TX. Stunning pictures of the ocean and sea life and boats and more from local artists. Very unique pieces. Highly recommend visiting.

This Gallery is the GEM of Main Street in Ventura. Some of the most stunning artwork you will see anywhere. Beautiful charming old building in the heart of Ventura. Been there several times and always amazed at the incredible work and beautiful items to buy.

Stephanie photographed our daughter's wedding. She not only got all the shots we specified but captured the spirit of the event with her candids. She did a fantastic job of putting everyone at ease, including the photo phobic father of the bride.

I went into this store and wanted to buy all the photos!!! I only wish I had enough money. I love the ocean, and the wonderful creatures that live in it, and Steve Munch is able to capture the natural beauty, and tranquility of animals that live in or around the sea in many of this photos, and also the fury and power of the ocean in some of the others. For me, a person who loves the ocean and the ocean mammals, I felt very happy and excited in the gallery and left with 3 great photos but wished I could have purchase more. There are so many wonderful photos, it was really hard to choose only three. Each photo tells it's own story. I know I will go back and buy some more another day.............................

Stephanie photographed my wedding in June 2012 and I cannot recommend her enough!! On the day she was professional and sweet. Great personality and easy to work with. She made sure to get all the "must get photos" ie: family and bridal party photos , and any other photos I specifically requested- and did so in a way that flowed and felt very natural and unobtrusive. I felt like I never saw her throughout the ceremony or reception, but her fabulous pictures showed me that she was EVERYWHERE! I cannot believe the photos and moments she captured! Her pictures were the perfect mix of traditional and beautiful family photos as well as fun and breathtaking photo-journalistic pictures. (Those are my favorite!) Of all the things that we spend money on for the wedding, the dress, the shoes, the food, the flowers.... photographs are the thing I know I will have forever. I am so happy to have these pictures to remember how amazing and happy I felt on that day. Thank you, Stephanie!!!!
