Latitudes

We visited Latitudes, the waterfront restaurant at the Nassau Harbor Club, after spending the morning in downtown Nassau. It was for lunch. The location is undeniably attractive, with a beautiful view over Nassau’s harbor. The menu is varied and offers a mix of local and international cuisine, including seafood, freshly made pizzas, and sushi. It is on the pricier side, but the setting and broad selection reflect that positioning. I ordered the fresh tuna salad, which was very good. The tuna was fresh, and the dressing was particularly delicious and well balanced. My friends ordered burgers, and they were also very good and satisfying. The only downside is the atmosphere. While the restaurant is polished and comfortable, it feels somewhat generic. Apart from the stunning harbor view, there is little in the ambiance that reminds you that you are in the Bahamas. Overall, it is a solid waterfront dining option with good food and a great view.

We have been to the Bahamas three times and each time we make sure to come here for the food and service. This year was special because we had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. Allen was so helpful and accommodating from the start. We stopped in a day early and talked about where we would be dining, decorating if needed and a set menu for our party of 26. Day of, we had the patio almost all to ourselves and we had such a nice time. The guests all loved the food menu, and the service was awesome. Will was our server with some of the team and his personality made the dinner unforgettable for all of us. The weather was awesome for being outside although indoor dining is just as worthy. Seafood is fresh, steak was cooked well, and the short rib dumplings are a way to start. I’ve never eaten anything there I haven’t enjoyed. The ambience is gentle and the service always top notch. We will be returning as we venture into our anniversary next year. Thank you Allen, Will and team for an awesome dining experience.

Best restaurant we have been to so far into our two week journey. Went here for my birthday. Staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere. Nice and clean. It’s a little pricey but well worth it. Everything is expensive in the Bahamas.

The waitress and bartenders were very friendly. The ambiance and the interior is very nice. I enjoyed my food, though I would’ve preferred my lamb chops to be cooked thoroughly. Great experience.

I ate at the latitudes restaurant in Nassau last night. I have a severe peanut allergy and informed the server of this. He assured me all peanut related food was made separately. When my food came (chicken curry) there were crumbs of something on top. I asked the server what it was and he confirmed it was bread crumbs on top. Well after eating one piece of chicken I immediately began having an allergic reaction with swollen lip and hives. We informed the server who simply brought me a new meal but we had to run out of there to get me medication. There was never any offer to comp my meal. The server was nice, but I was extremely disappointed with this entire experience. They are lucky my reaction did not turn emergent

Great night out. Excellent food and service in a dining area with great views across the harbour. A great mix of local and Asian fusion. Easy parking. Great cocktails to get us going and ending with a great date/filo/pistachio ice cream desert. They also have the Hibachi bbq for a min of 6 people. Will be coming again

They have good food , I’d say 3 different restaurants in one. They have a section that is a Japanese steak house ( Benihana style ) . Then a large menus of sushi’s . And a large variety of standard North American food . All are good and they have a great right on the water location. Sunset from there is amazing,

Absolutely delicious! The best food we had throughout the Bahamas!Beautiful restaurant excellent service and friendly staff. Started with the fried short rib dumplings they were good and I had the lamb chops for dinner which were to die for along with garlic mushrooms and cream spinach. My husband had the Chilean sea bass with broccolini and mashed potatoes. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.
