We visited Latitudes, the waterfront restaurant at the Nassau Harbor Club, after spending the morning in downtown Nassau. It was for lunch.
The location is undeniably attractive, with a beautiful view over Nassau’s harbor. The menu is varied and offers a mix of local and international cuisine, including seafood, freshly made pizzas, and sushi. It is on the pricier side, but the setting and broad selection reflect that positioning.
I ordered the fresh tuna salad, which was very good. The tuna was fresh, and the dressing was particularly delicious and well balanced. My friends ordered burgers, and they were also very good and satisfying.
The only downside is the atmosphere. While the restaurant is polished and comfortable, it feels somewhat generic. Apart from the stunning harbor view, there is little in the ambiance that reminds you that you are in the Bahamas.
Overall, it is a solid waterfront dining option with good food and a great view.
