A good restaurant to have a meal at the Houston Hobby Airport.
According to their website, “The James family has been serving Hobby’s travelers for more than three decades. LaTrelle’s Tex-Mex Kitchen serves freshly made Tex-Mex favortites such as Breakfast Tacos, grilled Fajitas, Burritos, Quesadillas, Chili Con Queso and Guacamole and don’t forget our housemade Margaritas.” I was traveling through the airport and decided to try the food at this location. It is one of the places on the airplane side of the security checkpoint. It is in a food court type of arrangement with several other restaurants sharing a common seating area. The food court area is located right in between the wings where all the airplane gates are located making it convenient regardless of where your flight leaves from in the terminal. Their menu includes burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, fajitas and nachos. You order at the counter and wait for your food at the next counter. I tried the breakfast burrito. It was reasonably priced for airport food and was prepared right there. It was a large burrito and very good. The staff was nice and the seating area was clean. I would recommend this for visitors in the terminal waiting for a flight or hungry for a good meal that is reasonably priced.
