"In Woodinville, it’s dangerously easy to stray from the beaten path and get disappointed. Then there’s Latta Wines, which has a tasting room across the parking lot from Delille. Skip the pomp and circumstance at Delille and make your way here instead for excitement that pervades the industrial-meets-expensive-wood space, tart-creamy Roussane that drinks like lemon meringue pie, and Syrah that understands the assignment (greetings, liquified peppercorns). And if you can get your hands on the Lucius skin contact Viogner, don’t let go. " - aimee rizzo

Stop two in our Woodinville tasting while staying at the amazing Willows Lodge. (Incoming review for that next). We were lucky enough to head into Latta where the simplistic modern feel meets a warm and friendly staff. We spent quite a lot of time with the GM Daniel who was above and beyond the best service we’ve had in Woodinville. His patience; knowledge, and warm welcoming demeanor a stark contrast to an often stuffy Woodinville scene. The wines… my husband is in love.. everything we tasted hit the mark with complexity but still approachable enough to drink now vs cellar. We left with wine and will be back!

We were recommended to check out Latta by someone who knows the various wineries of Woodinville and suggested her favorite was Latta. When we arrived, we were greeted by Ashton and Brenna… they didn’t disappoint… and neither did their wines! We also met Morgan, and she was wonderful as well. We tried their Roussanne, a GSM, and multiple Syrah’s and liked them all! Their cheese and light fare options were amazing as well! Give them a try, and help to spread the word!!

Latta Fun!! Took a group there after overspending at the distinguished DeLil** and this new discovery was a real gem and nice addition to the Woodinville wine scene. Great vibe, decor, attentive staff, and not to mention *generous wine pours - ask for Mia!! The grapes speak for themselves. Kudos...we'll be bringing in town guests back!

The team at Latta is so inviting and knowledgeable. I’m not the biggest wine expert but they made my tasting fun and educational.

Andrew Latta undersells his wines and over performs. The wines are phenomenal! It's great to visit his new tasting room and see how great the wines are, especially compared to the cookie-cutter, big, extracted wines typical of his neighbors.

Latta offers a nice change to the seemingly Bordeaux-heavy woodinville wine scene. Their syrahs have a little funk (a good four letter F word) and great flavor. The two very different rousannes changed my mind about rousanne forever - so yummy! The location is great because it’s close to the parking lot and the patio is going to be a hot spot for the summer. Ashton and Brenna are my favorites there. So fun and knowledgeable! I love Latta!

Yelp
THE BIG: Located in the Warehouse consisting of four wineries in Woodinville. Plenty of parking in the nearby parking lots. Indoor and outdoor patio and second floor seating. THE BLACK AND WHITE: This was our last winery stop before heading to dinner and we stopped in for a wine tasting. Fortunately since it was a Friday, it wasn't too busy. My wife, sister and I shared a tasting since we didn't want to drink too much more but heard Latta was a great winery to check out. The wines here aren't the heavy bordeaux style wines typically found in Washington, but rather some nice rhone style wines. There were these two syrahs from the same plot, but one year apart and the taste was vastly different! That's why I love wine. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, the cost of a wine tasting with four pours was around $25. Great to try out to differentiate from all the other bold heavy reds.
