Lattanzi Cucina Italiana

A wonderful Italian restaurant in the Theatre district. We ate dinner here for Restaurant Week 2023. My mother and I have never been here before, but this will not be the last time. The ambience was charming, and the food portion was plenty. Before, I was under the impression we would only have small samples of food to try but I was wrong. My favorite dish of the night was the entrée. I ordered the Saltinbocca Alla Romana. There were no leftovers to take home. Overall, I am so happy we found a new restaurant to eat when we are in New York.

My sister came here for Valentine’s Day dinner with her boyfriend and they served her raw chicken. She took a bite without knowing and swallowed it. No one came over and apologized they offered to cook the chicken for her. At that point she was disgusted and wanted to throw up. When I picked them up an hour later she threw up right outside my car. We’re most likely going to have to go to the hospital in the morning if it worsens. They still charged them over $100 for the food. As a server at a fine dining restaurant it is disgusting to hear the way they handled this situation, their meal should have been comped and they should have been given a gift card for a free dinner at least. I understand it’s Valentine’s Day and one of the busiest days for restaurants and the only way this could of happened is if one of the food runners may have messed up and took the wrong dish out. Food runners should know what the dish looks like when it’s completed and should make sure the food is ready to go with chef. Please look at the photo this should not have been served. This is outright disgusting. They didn’t even offer to comp the bill which is the first thing any professional restaurant would do nor did they apologize to them.

Great location for pre-show dinner. Staff are professional and helpful. Restaurant is clean. We ordered fettuccine with ragu, thick spaghetti Amatriciana and Branzino. They were all good.

phenomenal service, phenomenal food, beautiful interior, & very welcoming ! i would really recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to go to eat in the area. i went for my birthday and had the best time ! enjoy :)

Went here for Restaurant Week. They had a decent set of options. The salad appetizers was delicious with a hit of salt and a tasty vinaigrette. I had Branzino and my boyfriend had the breaded chicken. Food was light and good for the summer. If you are hungrier then order something heavier. Passionfruit sorbet was sour tasting when we expected it to be sweet. My coconut sorbet was very good and came in a coconut looking cup. Not sure if I would go back but an enjoyable evening.

Great restaurant for a date night, wonderful costumer service, wine and delicious Italian food. The ambiance was lovely, music was just right and I will definitely be returning for another date night with my wife.

Always a great place for dinner before a show. They get you out fast if you're in a rush. So far everything I've ever had there, from pastas to fish, was excellent. Artichoke app is so good. Leave room for the Italian cheesecake. Great service.

Excellent Roma Italian fare From this long standing restaurant. The owner appears strict to his roots from Rome preserving long standing recipes passed down generation to generation and expertly prepared. We started with Carciofi Alle Giudia, an artichoke recipe passed down from the Roman Jewish Quarter. We followed that with a half order of Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe made perfectly al dente and wonderfully seasoned. Secondi was Mediterranean Orata seasoned with EVOO, garlic, and tomato, and accompanied with vegetables perfectly prepared! A great delicious memorable dinner! We returned for another incredible dinner! Ermir again gave warm, personalized and great service explaining the meticulous care taken to expertly prepare each dish and the fabulous desserts. We again enjoyed a wonderful evening at Lattanzi and can't wait to return again for another wonderful dining experience!!
