This afternoon around 4:00 PM, I visited the shop, which I’ve been coming to since it opened. It’s usually a great experience, but today felt very different.
While one young lady was helping with my first order, I took about a minute to look over the flavors for my second. I hadn’t been in for about six months, and since the shop often rotates flavors, I wanted to see what was new. Despite this, another young lady jumped in with an impatient attitude, as if I was taking too long even though there were only two people being helped ahead of me and no one behind me.
I felt rushed and uncomfortable, and ended up choosing something I didn’t really want just to get it over with. That’s not the kind of service I’ve come to expect from a place I’ve supported since the beginning.
I’m only sharing this because I care about the shop and hope the friendly, welcoming atmosphere can be preserved.
