We had the Menu dégustation a 5 temps. We arrived with no expectations and at the beginning we got excited even though we were served arancini (you can’t go wrong with something fried!) but seriously the quality and creativity didn’t match the price. The main dishes were an overcooked fish and then a freaking cordon bleu (again fried) that you can almost find at Picard!
At that point we were quite disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, everything was good, but just that. No soul, no adventure, quite superficial and Instagramable.
If you are looking for a true culinary experience, this is not the place to go. If you want a pretty place and pretty pictures of your food, it will be perfect.
The dessert: very pretty. Definitely shows that the chef knows his technique. But it doesn’t do more than that. Again, soulless, simple, safe.
To me, overpriced for what it really is.
