If you are planning a trip to Tokyo, do yourself a favor and make sure you lock in a reservation when you can! As a person that worked in the restaurant industry for over ten years, this was the first Michelin star restaurant I had to opportunity to go to and meet every expectation I had. The idea of mixing French cuisine with ingredients that can only be found in Japan made for an unforgettable menu. The sword fish, deer Wellington, truffle risotto and bear dish had to be some of the best dishes I have ever tried in my life! And the fact that the chef showed me pictures of the bear before it was prepped, as an ex chef, was one of the coolest things I have seen! Might be off putting to some, but it made my experience much better. So please do yourself a favor and make a reservation!
