Very good French Basque restaurant in Tokyo.
Being the food from Basque area of France, it’s different from a typical French restaurant.
The menu is quite interesting, although all dishes are quite heavy, but that’s how it’s supposed to be, I guess.
Honestly the presentation of the food is just ok but you can understand and feel the passion the chef puts in the cooking process of each dish.
You can see chefs checking the blood sausages every minute to make sure they are perfectly cooked. I found service a bit “cold” but overall it’s a good experience.
Selection of wines is not huge but there are a few good hidden pearls in the Basque Wines page.
