If there was a rating higher than 5 stars, I would give it. We had a wonderful time at Laurentide this past Saturday. The staff (especially Janet) was so kind and knowledgeable. We tasted a flight and then stayed longer with a glass and great conversation with Will, the owner. We joined the club and took a case home with us and are already enjoying it. We'll be back! Thank you Laurentide!

We visited the area from OH and stopped in for some wine. The wine selection is amazing as is the service. Very friendly and super chill vibe. The owner stopped in to greet us. The cheese plate was amazing as well. Small place but big taste and highly recommended.

We did the Toast of the Season wine tour this weekend. I believe this was our 5th time throughout the years doing it. This was our first time visiting your winery. I have to say out of the 13 we visited, yours was our favorite. The staff was top notch! So informative and super friendly. The one lady explained so much to us and offered suggestions and deals. She treated us like long lost friends. We got to sample a couple different wines compared to one at a lot of the wineries. The difference in your welcoming attitude and caring nature made us decide to make your winery a priority next visit. The case deal sold us and we left with 12 bottles. A few of the nearby participating wineries could learn a lot from you guys in how to be welcoming and educational. Can’t wait to come back- thank you again. The Roussey Family

Google
Zero stars. As a longtime Wine Club member we visited mid October. We were told that Wine Club selections would ONLY come from the new vintages. That's it for me. Im not paying some unknown goomer to pick and send me Wine that I've never tasted. I'll try one more time, NO CONTACT. Next time I'll speak Construction if you can't get this right.

A Hidden Gem in Northern Michigan – We’ll Be Back! This was my first time visiting this part of Northern Michigan, and stumbling upon Laurentide Winery turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. My boyfriend and I were exploring the area and decided to stop in on a whim—and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like family. We were greeted immediately with warmth and enthusiasm. It just so happened that there was an open house event the day we visited, and the hospitality was off the charts. We were treated to generous pours and delicious little bites perfectly paired with the wines. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and inviting. The winery has a rustic charm on the outside and is beautifully decorated inside—cozy yet elegant. We ended up buying several bottles thanks to the great deals and the quality of the wine. This was our first visit, but definitely won’t be our last. Laurentide is a must-stop if you’re in the area!

Google
We just had the opportunity to visit the Laurentide Winery this past week for a “wine tasting” and absolutely loved the wine, ambience, the staff, and service. Everything about Laurentide was exceptional and first class. We’re excited to join their wine club and clearly understand why they are an “award winning” winery! We very much look forward to returning and drinking their wines for many years to come!

Google
Thank you Sue and the staff for the GREAT service this past weekend. We look forward to seeing you in the future. Great service and great wine. Over the years we have come to enjoy our time with you.

Google
As always, the wine, food, and service were all excellent. Bill and Susan Braymer are dedicated to making the best wine and providing the most pleasant tasting experience anywhere. Laurentide is our first and last stop on every visit to the LP.

Yelp
We stopped in here as we were taking a scenic ride. Zack, our tasting guide, did a marvellous job and the wines were delicious. The Flume was my favourite, I have been looking for the perfect white since my visit to France.

Yelp
Had a fun tasting here today. Sat out on the patio overlooking the vines and enjoyed some of the wine flights, especially the whites. Our hostess, Michelle was great and brought us a lot of extra sips so that we could do some blind tastings. Enjoyed the sunshine and the wines and came home with a few bottles. Definitely worth a stop on your wine tastings around the peninsula.

Yelp
This place was the second stop,on our Uncorked Wine tour that we went to on the Leelanau peninsula. We found out in their website that you need to reserve a table and to make a reservation you need to put down a $10 deposit that can be used towards a purchase once you show up for your table. When we arrived we were seated almost immediately, which was very nice. There might have been a slight miscommunication with the staff because our order wasn't taken until 10 minutes after we were seated. If they were extremely busy I could understand, but really they were not. There was one other table that had a few very talkative guests who seemed to be keeping one server from getting to the other tables, but I'm not sure what happened to the second one. Once we were able to place our order and get our wines we had a delightful time. The server was able to boast about their award winning wines, none of which we ordered, and pointed out all of the May wine specials. We ordered the rose wine flight which featured the rose in three different styles. Our wines were good, but based on the bottle prices nothing we would want to take home. This winery seems to be very blanc forward, if you like blanc wines this might be the place for you, When we left we were given a coupon for $5 off our next visit. This may be something someone else is interested in, just not us.

Yelp
Great place - the guy working today was great! Very personable. The wine was damn good and he recommended a great place to eat when we left! Super good experience for the day :-)

Yelp
Laurentide's wines are fantastic! They've upped their prices for tastings, but the wines are so tasty it's well worth it.

Yelp
I've been visiting Leelanau my whole life; starting when there were only like 3 wineries on the peninsula (boskydel, Leelanau cellars and Good harbor). Now there are like 25, plus a few cider houses, breweries and distilleries. Several years ago, we were fortunate enough to buy a slice of heaven/piece of property within walking/biking/kayaking/staggering distance of at least 4 of said wineries/distilleries/breweries. Ergo, I feel qualified to review. I confess I haven't (yet) been to ALL the wineries on the peninsula, but I've been to at least a dozen and... I just like Laurentide wine the best. By "best", I also mean "consistently". Every time I come taste, I really like most of them. A lot. I even joined the wine club; the first and only wine club I've ever joined and I've never been disappointed in a bottle. And the prices are fair. And the people are nice. I Highly recommend you give it a try.

Yelp
One of the better wine tasting experiences I've had In Leelanau. It was a wonderful day and the service was the best yet. Our server was very chill and very knowledgeable about the wines and what to try next based on our preferences. We ended up purchasing a few bottles after a great Wisconsin cheese platter. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We would give it no stars if that was an option. We had an extremely rude woman for our group. We left right after the tasting, ordered nothing, and went to the next one we had lined up! Don't waste your time here, there are too many other great & friendly wineries in this area.

Yelp
Had a great experience tasting some spirits. Friendly staff and a nice place. Outdoor seating was nice and a bar next door is a perk.

Yelp
This is a great new winery near Leland. They have 6 whites and 3 reds. My favorites are the Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. At the tasting room they offer 4 one oz. tastes for $4 and 7 pours for $7. The owners are very friendly and happy to talk with you about their products. The wine is priced at $15 to $25.

Yelp
Really love the dry style whites here! I am not a fan of very sweet wines, and have had a hard time finding a good white wine in the area. Good thing I stopped in to Laurentide! I especially enjoyed the Sauvignon blanc, which was different than any other I've had, but phenomenal. The only red they had at the moment was their Pinot noir, which was also delicious. Ben, who did our tasting, explained each wine and also told us what kinds of food would be good with the wines. He was very pleasant and made our experience even better! I will frequent here regularly, and can't wait to bring visitors to try the wine!

Yelp
Our favorite winery from "toast the season." Rose was amazing and, Sauvignon Blanc was great. Thanks Ethan for the great recommendations!

Yelp
This wonderful tasting room is inviting and causal. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about grape growing and wine making. You will definitely learn something while you taste and visit. All of their wines are wonderful. There is not a bad one in the bunch. You will find something you like to take along. Tasting costs 1-2 per glass and if you like something you can buy a glass and sit out on the patio and enjoy it. If you are from the south and visiting you WILL enjoy the lovely weather. My favorites are the 2012 and 2013 Pinot Noir and the 2014 Sweet Riesling. Their Cherry wine is well balanced and great for making sauces with. They will provide you with free recipes to go along with the wines you buy. Whether you like dry or sweet you will find something you like. They also ship to many states and you can check while you visit. This place is well worth the stop.

Yelp
Don't waste your time. Wine is ok, and the service is poor. They never looked excited for us to be there

David L.

Yelp
There are too many good wineries in the are to have to deal with this level of service. While we like several of the wines, and availed ourselves of the patio for snacks, they would not honor their deal of a comp'd tasting if you bought because we didn't buy at the same time as the tasting. We didn't even leave the grounds! We were sitting on the patio drinking a glass of wine, and came back in to purchase. Another complaint - the advertised "glass" of wine was nothing more than four tasting pours. Hardly the deal you were lead to believe.

Robert M.

Yelp
We visit Laurentide every summer and it is our favorite tasting room in the area. The staff is relaxed and welcoming and lets you take your time enjoying the pours but attentive and very knowledgeable when you want to talk wine. The wines are well crafted and elegant, my favorites being the 2014 Dry Riesling and 2014 Emergence. Now shipping is available making it easy to get Laurentide wines back to San Francisco to enjoy all year long.

Yelp
This place does it right! Definitely a quality over quantity approach! Every wine is spectacular. They are known for their dry whites. Can't wait to visit again!
