The Rebel Chef is up in Canada! Massive indoor mall. Quebec's largest with all sorts of stores from Hugo Boss, Levi's and Armani to watches, Victoria's, suits, perfume, shoes. It had little in the way of a food court or small stalls inside. Store shops with prices to sell. Review: 4

Just a typical mall somewhere within Québec City. Great place to buy discounted souvenirs (try Dollarama) and Gelato (you can't miss it as it is on the first level. Definitely a shelter from the summer humidity.

Laurier Québec is definitely one of the more confusing shopping malls I've been to. There is an underground parking lot, a ground parking lot, a multi-level parking lot, and an outside parking lot. Confused yet? The mall inside is a colossal sprawl only rivalled by probably West Edmonton Mall, and even then I found West Edmonton Mall less confusing than this mall. Each floor has a different layout, so don't expect to easily go from the first to second to third floors. The third floor consists of mainly the food court, which actually has a wide range of selections. If you're looking for poutine, Chez Ashton is there (although to be honest I would stick to having poutine in Montreal instead of QC). Free wifi in the mall! A little bit sporadic though once you exit the first floor.

Ok mall. The Sports Experts there operates excellently at least. But my major problem with the place: insufficient parking. By a factor of - at least - two. Nonetheless, the mall is ok-clean and has decent shops, so 3 stars seems about fair.

As a tourist, skip this joint. Shopping isn't that interesting (I swear half of the stores were Canadian winter coat stores) and the layout is confusing. It felt like I was walking through suburban sprawl. Food court is mediocre. If you are wanting to try a beaver tail (queue de castor) do not make La Creamerie's "Godasse" your first- it's this frozen oblong flash fried with absolutely no character. If you've ever been in Dallas's mega mall, it's kind of like that, but smaller, less intuitive, and not even a fraction of the stores you would want.

This mall complex seemingly goes on forever! Kind of tricky to find if you're relying on a Garmin (I don't have an international plan for my phone so decided to go the Garmin route this trip and it's so lacking compared to the phone/Google maps). It's fairly difficult to get to but worth the searching. Tons of parking and hundreds of stores. There is something for everyone at this mall complex. We were saddened to see our favorite deli was gone but mainstays like the book store were going strong. The sales rep in the Jack and Jones was fantastic. First time in a long time that I can say I felt special and like I was getting personalized service in a store! You can easily spend hours here going between the malls and getting lost and browsing. I think it's a must visit if you're spending any time in Quebec City.
