Homemade pies are always in here! Tried the sweet potato, pumpkin, and bourbon pecan for the holidays, and all 3 were a hit. You can tell these are made fresh and with so much love. I am the happiest whenever I support local, so this has become my new go to for pies. There is a great variety and selection, and I’ve heard from so many others about how good it is. Laurie’s is located in a cute area of Long Beach, and the staff is so lovely and knowledgeable. There are so many wonderful flavors to choose from, vegan options. I will definitely come back. This is quality

Wow I think I found my new favorite pie place. Normally, I like key lime pie or lemon pie. However, after I tried both slices of pie that I did order from this place, Mississippi mud pie was bomb! Not overly sweet whipped cream, rich, smooth dark chocolate, and well balanced crust were a perfect combination. I’m pretty sure that I can finish a whole pie. One slice is not enough. Lemon lavender pie was not bad but Mississippi mud pie was ultimately legit. Kudos to one of the best pies I’ve had so far.

This is a small and cute dessert spot near downtown Long Beach called, "The Pie Bar". The decor is vibrant and playful. They have a few board games to play if you'd like. I tried the pie flight and it was great! My partner tried the creme brulee and he liked it. I ordered a gluten free vegan banana pie to go and it was amazing as well! The chunks of banana in it were a nice touch. I'm not even a dessert type of girl and I enjoyed myself. So if you're looking for a sweet treat after dinner? Give The Pie Bar a try!

I love pie, I love beer, so why not both? Pie Bar was soooo good. We got a couple different things, and they were all delicious. Lots of vegan pies, and a vegetarian pot pie (to-go only, you gotta heat it up at home). I loved their banana cream, and the marionberry pie. My two favs. Also, very dog friendly!

Cute little place! Amazing pies, I recommend the Smore’s pie. Even though it is served room temp, it is SOOO good. All other pies are chilled and also delicious. Will be back.

They have clearly labeled vegan options! We for the whiskey peach pie. It tasted delicious and wasn’t too sweet. They have board games. A nice place to hang, catch up with friends or go on a date.

Most restaurants simply don't offer pecan pie but I always seem to find it at this location and it's delicious. In fact, we would get the pie here and bring it to Hoffs Hut for desert. STAR a server at Pie Bar was very courteous and a great asset to this pie shop. Good job guys

I legitimately think this is the best pie I’ve ever had. I’d probably skip the Salted Caramel next time, but the Crème Brûlée, Mississippi Mud, and Dutch Apple were *outstanding*.

If you're gonna treat yourself this is definitely a spot to get a snack and not feel bad about "calories" and just truly enjoy the mouth pleasure of the desserts. Normally not a pie guy, more an ice cream and cheesecake person but the pies here are truly out of this world and have at this point set the bar for all pies for me. Worth a try and the interior makes for a nice little dessert date spot

Pie at Laurie's Pie Bar is always the answer! It's sooo yummy! My boyfriend and I got a pie flight and one of the chocolate peanut butter cutie pies (perfect if you like Reese's peanut butter cups.) The atmosphere is warm and inviting, just as you would expect from a good pie place and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's the perfect little place to get a quick sweet treat and it's open decently late as well.

Wowwwww, what an amazing place to get a cheese cake. The Ube Coconut Cheesecake & the Dutch Apple Whole Pie are some of the best tasting flavored cheesecakes I have ever ate. There was very little wait time, the staff is super friendly & it's very clean.

I wanted to treat my friends and they mentioned wanting to try this place out so we got the following flavors: Peach whiskey pie (5/5) -- Not sure what whiskey is supposed to add or how it should taste but the peach flavor was outstanding and the crust was perfect Key lime (5/5) -- super tangy and silky curd, crust was not too thick Dutch apple (4/5) -- great flavors and crumble, apples were a bit over done for my liking Mississippi Mudd (5/5) -- super chocolatey and loved the consistency of the filling Marionberry (3/5) -- Packed with berry filling but couldn't taste much berry and I thought it needed more sugar I also picked up a mini banana cream pie and a chocolate peanut butter as gifts and they were well received. Definitely worth returning to LB for. The lady who helped us out was very friendly!

I recently had the Marion Berry Pie with ice cream, and it was quite tasty. The staff asked if I wanted it warmed before serving, which was a nice touch. The pie was flavorful and the ice cream was a perfect complement. The staff at Laurie's Pie Bar are consistently friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. The only downside is the parking, which can be challenging depending on the time you visit. Overall, it's a good spot for pie lovers in Long Beach.

Small place with lots of pie options. There are whole pies, slices, jars and little shot glass pies. Def a must if you're craving pie. Marionberry was delicious. Def recommend warming it and getting it with ice cream. Salted caramel was super good too. Would like to try the whiskey peach and lemon lavender next time!

We got the Mexican Mocha Cutie Pie (which is like a miniature pie in a mason jar) and the flavor was so delicious and sweet. We also got a slice of the crumbly warm Dutch Apple pie, and the Personal chicken pot pie! The apple was a favorite of ours too, and had such a good flavor without being overly sweet and sickly. The Chicken pot pie was a frozen, take home and bake situation. Which was fine, I understand, only I wanted it to be already warmed by the time we got home. But, we warmed it in the oven and it was very hearty and satisfying. In the shop, it can get crowded quick and there is little room to choose which items you want. It was a pressurized environment when we went in, likely due to the busy time&day, however the staff was kind and tried to understand what we needed and got us sorted quickly, which I appreciated. Thank you! Will be returning at a calmer hour.

I had the pleasure of enjoying Laurie's Pie Bar at an event and it was absolutely a delight! I tried their cutie pie in key lime pie and the white raspberry cheesecake? I can't wait to come back and try the banana cream pie!

Such amazing pies! The best I've ever bought! I saw an add in travelHost for a free slice of key lime pie and decided to stop by. Literally the best I've ever had! I'm so glad I bought others to try too! The cream brûlée pie is amazing and so is the pulled pork hand held pie! I want to make a 2 hour drive back just for more pie!! You won't regret it!

I had extremely high expectations of the pies from here, based on the enthusiastic reviews on Yelp. When I finally tried the creme brulee pie and the pecan bourbon pie, they were definitely tasty, but I would not rank them as the best pies of all time. I found out that the peach whiskey pie was seasonal, and I was not able to try it. Service was excellent and friendly, as the staff caramelized the creme brulee right in front of me with the torch. The storefront is very small, and you have to contend with downtown street parking.

Love the s'mores pie. It is my absolutely go to. I've also come here for a pie baking private class for their peach pie and it was a fun and delicious experience. Their sangria was amazing! The only reason I knocked off a star is because the quality of their lemon bars are inconsistent. When they're on, they're amazing, but sometimes the texture isn't as crunchy or they don't have powdered sugar on them and they don't taste very good.

Cute place and nice selection of pie flavors. Crème brûlée is a must try. We also got the pecan with a scoop of ice cream. I gave this place a 3 due to not having the pie flight, we went in on a Tuesday and the ice cream being frozen in a cup. Don't know how fresh it was.

The Pie Bar is the perfect place to get your pie fix in Downtown Long Beach. They have vegan pies, gluten free pies, all kinds of pies. As tempting as it was to just pick one out to try, I went for the Chocolate Peanut Butter Slice. It's vegan, but you really wouldn't know it except for maybe the coconut whipped cream. It's so good and filling. One slice was plenty to satisfy my sweet tooth. Can't wait to come back and try a different slice of pie. Oh, and there are two different parking garages really close to the shop with 2-hour free parking. That's a win-win situation.

I have been CRAVING pie ever since autumn began. Today, I had the luxury of trying "The Pie Bar". Both slices of pie that I ordered were absolutely DELICIOUS !! The Chocolate peanut butter pie was like a Reese's peanut butter pie. It was light and rich. The pecan pie was a bit heavier but, THE BEST PECAN PIE IVE EVER HAD. I come from a family of serious bakers/cooks so, I know what I'm talking about ;) The cashier (which I'm assuming was the owner/baker) was very kind and personable. I plan to return VERY SOON !

Another great find thanks to yelp search. Visited on Thursday was greeted by friendly staff. Informed her of two allergies which she then let us know what to avoid. We decided on the pie flight since we couldn't decide on one flavor. We were so happy with that choice because it let us try the most popular flavors and we were not disappointed. Pie flight included(left to right ) Keylime pie, Mexican hot chocolate, cookies and cream and a white chocolate raspberry. The Keylime pie, and the white chocolate raspberry were amazing, our absolute favorites. The other two were good, but the Keylime and the white chocolate raspberry were definite standouts. We ordered two black coffees, which were also delicious and a perfect pairing for our pies. Seating area is comfy with cute decor!We ordered two mason jar pies to go and excited to have them over the weekend. We will definitely be coming back to try different flavors. Sidenote- they do not have public/customer restrooms so do keep that in mind when visiting. There is plenty of street parking and also a parking structure behind their location. We opted for street parking, which was easy to find at 5 o'clock.

If you're near the area and unsure if you should go, just go. The pies are delicious. I've never had such good tasting pies before. They have several options & even some meat pie options. Finding parking is a little rough but worth the struggle. The young lady at the front was super friendly and helpful. The space was clean and even had board games in the seating area which I thought was pretty cool.

Laurie is such a gem. She has the most amazing desserts. My favorites are the apple pie and the S'mores pies. We had 50 of the mini S'mores pies at my sons 5th birthday party and the parents and kids both went crazy over them. I should have never even got a birthday cakes because the pies were the biggest hit at the party. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I bought a Marion Berry pie one night and opened it the following day to find mold underneath the crust. This tells me it was not the freshest of pies. I posted a picture of the pie with mold on Yelp and the Owner Laurie quickly refunded me and apologized for the incident. Great customer service! I will give this place another try.

I have the biggest sweet tooth! So when I got to try this place as a help experience, I knew I had to come back! I came back for their delicious vanilla ice cream (ik it sounds super basic, but they really have the gooiest, softest vanilla ice cream ever! And it doesn't melt in 2 seconds like most do) - but I stayed for the tiramisu and the awesome customer service! Not only is the store super inviting with the pops of colors, but the staff is friendly and fun to chat with! I will definitely be coming back here for my dessert fix!

The pies were great. We tried the flight with cookies n cream, Mexican chocolate, raspberry, and lemon tart. We also tried the banana pudding. There was something for everyone in our group. The pie bar had games to enjoy along with the pie, so it was a great ambiance for our family outing. The best part was that we were celebrating my wife's bday, when this was overheard by the girl who helped us she immediately brought a special piece of pie. She also brought a candle for us to sing happy birthday. I just had to go back in and get another two banana pudding pies to take home and once again I was greeted with such a warm reception. The pie is definitely served with love at this place. Thank you for making our celebration more special.

OMG...this place is AMAZING, and just the right thing to follow a nice dinner out! On our quest to find vegan sweets in Long Beach, my co-workers and I stumbled across this gem, and will certainly be returning next time we're in Long Beach! Tons of choices to choose from and best of all, most have vegan options. The customer service was excellent and the atmospheres smelled like you entered your grandma's kitchen early Saturday morning. Call ahead or dine in, you won't be dissapointed.

The desserts here tasty and if you live nearby, it's certain to become a regular treat! I always get the Banana Cream "Cutie Pie" which come in a jar. Although it's delicious, I do think it's a bit expensive for what you get. You are paying for the jar that it comes in, so just keep that in mind. The service here is always amazing and very friendly. Even when there's a long line, they are efficient and the wait is never long. They have board games and a very chill vibe! Unfortunately, they don't have a bathroom. Overall, it's a Long Beach staple and a must try!

As an invite, my girlfriend and I visited the pie bar and saw that it was super dog friendly. They have plenty of space outside and hang out and enjoy both savory and sweet pies. They also have wine and as the for the pies, here's what we got. The creme brûlée one was solid. It was perfectly fired and prepped and tasted great. My girlfriend tried the Marionberry and it was perfectly tart and sweet. The chicken pot pie tasted homemade and just the right amount of food stuffed into it. I can't wait to see how good the other pies are throughout the year.

Tried this place out after seeing it on IG! Specifically the pie shots. My friend and I had a blast trying the 4 flavors, it was more of an experience we wanted to try than going for the pie. I liked 1/4 flavors (the raspberry one) However, I did get a slice of chocolate peanut butter pie. It was absolutely delicious! The shop is small but has a cute vibe. I recommend giving it a try if you're in the area and would like a sweet treat. I spent $20 total on the pictures items. Pro tip- check in on Yelp for 10% off your first order!!

The pies at the pie bar are delicious. At least the ones that I have tried. I enjoyed going into the establishment because I get to watch the pies being made. It's a small little establishment that is friendly and cute. The service is always given with a smile and the ambience is welcoming. I like the pie bar.

I did not expect it to be this good. Wow! I was greeted right when I entered the bar. The layout is nice. The chocolate peanut butter pie was decadent and worth whatever I paid. You can taste quality in this fine little jar of bliss

I love pie so I was very excited to try this place. They didn't disappoint. They have all types of pie ranging from traditional pies, to pie jars and hot pies. So you can literally have a meal with dessert here. The inside is nicely decorated and to me, looks like what a pie shop should. It's on the small side so depending on the time, you may have difficulty finding seating. Warning though, there are no public restrooms. Staff was very friendly and helped us decide on what we wanted. We ordered the sampler, Key Lime Jar, Crème Brûlée slice, the Chicken Pot Pie, and an assortment of jars to go. My favorites were the Key Lime and the White Chocolate raspberry. Their chicken pot pie was delicious too. We definitely will be coming back here if we're in the area.

This is a cute little dessert shop on pine in DTLB. Well more like a pie shop LOL . They have everything pies , pie slices , wholes pies , pies in a jar, pies shots , & hand pies . I'm so mad I've never stopped here because I've always been the girl to ask for pie over a cake on birthdays ! I went with the banana cream pie in a jar and paired it with strawberry ice cream . YUM ! I was thinking it might be a lil hard since it's in a jar & refrigerated but WOW the consistency which each layer was spot on ! Def super impressed with that ! Service was nice ! It def got packed in there super quick & they have a lil dine in area . Parking is a bit iffy in that area either you find parking on street right in front or go to the parking structures nearby . Def a must check for pie or dessert lovers .

We came here to order a pie to share with coworkers. We ordered the Whisky Peach Pie. It was a bit pricey for a pie, but everyone enjoyed it. They also serve pies in a jar. Make sure you check in on Yelp and you can unlock a discount. The storefront is small and you may miss it unless you are looking for it. There is metered parking on the streets. Fortunately, it was past 1pm on a Tuesday and the street parking wasn't too crowded. Look for a sign that says Pie Avenue.

After dinner at The Carvery, we ended up here. We saw this place while calling another place for desserts. What a coincidence that they happen to be located nearby to one another. The place was about to close for the night. So, we tried to order quickly. We ordered to go. I had a salted caramel slice. Wow! Hubby had chocolate something, and his friend had a different type of chocolate which was so rich in flavor. I must say that the way to eat this is in slow motion. Don't rush. Take your time, and then slowly signup for a gym membership for a year! It's worth it!

Got the Mississippi mud pie and it was delicious! I don't eat pie often, but this literally makes me want to eat pie everyday.

My preference isn't pie at all, but I thought it would be a great opportunity to test something new and leave a review. -Parking The parking situation isn't ideal since it is downtown, but parking is available. Located on 3rd and Pine, there is a public parking garage that isn't too far from The Pie bar. Parking was not an issue for me since I was already walking. -Restaurant When you walk in you can see that they are making the pie from scratch with a nice open kitchen flow. A nice seating area is available, as well as a corner with games. The atmosphere shouted out to me: come get a slice and stay a while. Although I am not sure if they serve coffee, pie and coffee seem to be such a perfect combination. -Food BOURBON PECAN PIE SLICE was my choice, which I can only assume is a classic holiday dish. A nice size slice cost about $8 bucks, but it was a nice size and the crust was thick. In addition to a sweet, buttery crunch, the pie had a savory nutty aftertaste coupled with a hint of bourbon, which was a welcome surprise. Despite not being a pie person, I recommend giving this place a try, you won't be disappointed. Oh special shout out they also have savory pie.

Good pies, but for me to spend quite a bit on pies and drinks then to have the employees tell me to go to CVS down the street for restroom, when they clearly have one there next to the register really sucks.

If you love pies, then this is the spot! Located in downtown LB, parking can be hard but there is a structure around the corner. Pie Bar has a good selection featuring Ube, S'mores, Banana Pudding, Raspberry, Crème Brulee etc. They're all so delicious! They offer whole pies, slices, or pies in a jar. My favorite will always be the banana pudding and the raspberry will always be a close second. Servers were friendly and helpful. They have a small indoor seating area with games and they have a small outdoor patio as well. They also offer mini pies for your dogs!

Stopped by after diner on a Saturday night. Free street parking after 9pm so parking was a breeze. Service was quick and friendly and they had a great selection of pies and other dessert even at such a late hour. The store was small but had some seatings. Chill vibe. I found the whiskey peach too sweet for my liking but the lemon lavender pie was on point (tangy and not too sweet; almost like a lemon cheesecake) and very tasty!

Went here a few minutes before closing and they still had a variety of options left. They had apple pie, mud pie, banana cream, ube pie and so much more that I couldn't decided. I ended up getting their flight which was a key lime pie, raspberry white chocolate, mud pie, and red velvet. They were all soo good. I definitely recommend the flight if you can't decided what to get, plus you i was able to share with my cousin and sister and they loved it as well. Service was great! The person working was very helpful, kind, and patient even when they were about to close and more people were coming in. The ambiance was also cute. Definitely a cute place to eat desserts and chitchat with friends.

A cute little bakery in Long Beach! Sit and enjoy your pie while there (a few tables inside, a patio area outside), or take your pies to-go. Parking was convenient - there's free 2-hr parking in the Lot C and B parking structures nearby. There are both sweet and savory pie options, pie jars, as well as some other baked goods (like lemon bars). There are even some vegan options (can be found on website). I picked up a "franken-pie" of 3 pies (2 slices each), for ~$40: Dutch apple, ube coconut, and key lime. An individual slice is ~$7. I only got to try the ube coconut and key lime, but both were delicious! The staff were kind and welcoming. Thank you!

Looking for a solid piece of pie? This place has it all. Sweet, savory, by the slice, whole, in a jar, you name it! I bought a couple of pies to take to a thanksgiving and they were a hit! When I walked in, I was greeted and immediately helped out when I asked about the pies. The ambiance is cute and cozy, plenty of tables and chairs for you to enjoy your slice. The sweet potato pie is ridiculously good! The piped marshmallow is an addicting touch. I had 3 slices! Oops!!! We also tried the pumpkin pie in a jar and the crust was still crustin' after 3 days in the fridge, how!?!? I definitely recommend!

THIS PLACE KNOWS HOW TO DO PIE. Service is impeccable, and their shop is nice and cool from the heat outside and very very clean. I'm definitely a pie person now because of this shop in particular. Some notes--parking in the structure if you can't find street parking. Everything is walkable since it's dtlb--bring a friend, or in my case, my small dog.

Pretty decent pies overall. The Dutch apple is my favorite one that I tried (biased because Dutch apple is my favorite pie in general lol); filling was mighty tasty (not overly sweet) and packed with apple slices. Wished the topping crumbles on this Dutch apple were crispier though. The filling in the marionberry was smooth and uniform but it tasted a bit sour even for marionberry flavor standards. Was hoping for the ube flavor in the ube coconut to linger for more than a second because after that it was just a strong cheesecake flavor lol. Pretty good purple cheesecake though. The banana cream pie in the jar was light and airy but I wanted more of a banana punch. The lady at the counter was very friendly as she happily walked me through the display cases after I told her that it was my first time here. Some things I liked, some things not as much. I can see why this is a popular spot though. Surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars and this place closes late. Not a bad place if you have sugar cravings after eating/drinking in the area!

Went in on "Pie Day" (3.14) but preordered, online, the day before. Order was ready when I arrived. I was able to add a few other items. Everyone was super helpful & friendly. The two items I bought for other people came back with positive feedback re: the Key lime & the S'mores cutie pies. The pups enjoyed their treats as well!

We came in the morning when they first opened. Everyone in the shop was very nice and attentive. They were celebrating their 8th year of store opening and gave us a slice of lemon bar. :) We will definitely come back.

We got 2 slices of pie and both were delicious! The creme brulee and some hybrid fruit flavor. Service by Lexi was outstanding. You can tell how much she loves the baked goods and enjoys working there by her energy and mannerism; especially in the way she described each oie flavor. We will definitely return when in the area to try some other flavors.

I was heading to an event nearby and had a few minutes to spare. I did a quick search for a bakery and this place popped up! And I'm SO glad it did!! Excellent service (we even got to meet Laurie!) I opted for a slice of Lemon Lavender pie and it was delicious. The perfect balance of tart and sweet with a hint of lavender and the crust was simply amazing- a crunchy graham crust with an touch of salt. Perfection. They also sell a pie flight and to-go mason jar pies. Highly recommend!
