Exceptional Accessibility and Accommodating Service at Lava Lounge I recently visited Lava Lounge and was truly impressed by how accommodating they are for individuals with disabilities and injuries. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering assistance without hesitation and making adjustments to ensure accessibility. Navigating social spaces can often be challenging when dealing with mobility concerns, but Lava Lounge exceeded expectations by providing a welcoming and inclusive environment. Their attentiveness, patience, and willingness to make modifications—whether it was seating arrangements, accessibility considerations, or just checking in—made all the difference in my experience. It’s rare to find a venue that genuinely prioritizes inclusivity, and I highly recommend Lava Lounge to anyone looking for a great time in a space that values every guest’s needs. I truly appreciate their commitment to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable!

LAVA is the SPOT! The vibe is so Las Vegas from the sound system to the incredible light show! Definitely not like anything else in on the strip! The staff is hot the drinks are strong! Def suggest checking out this spot if you haven’t already!

This place is a rip-off; they wanted $50.00 for two drinks. I will never support this business.

Been here a few times and every time is the same thing. Small venue which is fine but everyone is pushing eachother. Bartenders don’t care and will skip over you multiple times because there is someone more attractive it seems. Just poor service.

Forget uptown and deep ellum - This is THE spot. All the great attributes of a club, without the dallas pretentiousness, and of course is in the gayberhood. Amazing staff, great bottle service options, music on point, and always a good vibe.

Was in Dallas for the weekend celebrating a friends birthday and we stopped by Lava. The bouncer guy told us to come back at a later time, when we came back it was super crowded and now of course the bouncer charged me $20 a head. Here I am thinking it’s for the club and he rudely insist that I send it to his personal cash app. Would not recommend!

No entry fee.. They kicked us out of out of a non VIP area after being there for over an hour.. saying they needed to "pop bottles" The music was ok.. The place was overly crowded... Capacity 98... must had been 150 people .. no place to walk.

Overpriced and so tiny. These dudes came into Dallas and made the “Dallitude” so much worse. Often walk by it and see no one is in there. Owned by a couple who are self-obsessed. They criticize and project their insecurities onto others (case in point….toupée). Get out of town and open up the space for gays who are actually going to contribute to a culture that isn’t self-gratifying.

Yelp
My friend came all the way from Chicago Illinois and I came from Denver Colorado and the owner of the club put us out of a section that wasn't reserved after being there for 1 hour because he didnt want to see us dance because he was with two women!!!. Please don't support this business!! This is supposed to be a gay club, but that is furthest from the truth!! Do not support this discriminating business!! I guess two black gay men at a gay club is not welcome here!! Food: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 1/5

Yelp
Do not have a tab here. Management forces you to leave before you get your credit card back because they wanna close. If your responsibility to give my credit card back before I leave when you require it to open a tab. If you can't do that get a system that will allow you to open a tab without keeping my card.

Yelp
We decided to stop here before getting in line at Round Up next door (in hindsight, I now see why this place had no line) when we went out after our wedding. (Keep in mind, I'm literally in a wedding dress). The bag I have with me unfortunately had my reusable water bottle in it (my bad). The bouncers let us in no problem after seeing I've poured the water out of it. We get inside and after about a minute, this guy comes over and starts YELLING at us to show us what's in the container, claiming he's the owner. We explain it's empty and the bouncers said it was fine but he keeps demanding to know what's in it. At which point I inform him he doesn't have to be such a dick. Andddd then he kicked us out. I guess that explains why the place next door has a cover charge and yet a way longer line? The "owner" kicks everyone out before they even buy anything! To be fair, the neon signs inside DID warn me this guy is a fan of "Big Dick Energy". I just assumed he meant the OTHER kind. ‍

Yelp
This place is gross. I ordered a Michelob and was charged just over $8, and then ordered another soon after and was charged just over $9. On top of that, you pay a service fee and are expected to tip on top of that fee. This place is always so dirty. I've been 3 times over the last year and all of the problems have been consistent.

Yelp
I was charged $8 for a rocks glass of coke, $12 for a rocks glass of Tito's and Sprite. At the same time a friend bought me a shot of Tito's which turned out to be tequila. When I spoke to the bartender about the mix up she blamed it on everyone one and everything else and shrugged and walked away. I would not recommend this establishment.

Yelp
I've waited a couple days to leave this review because I honestly don't know where you screwed up first. First, I asked for a whiskey sprite tall. I got told you don't have talls. Second, instead of a well whiskey (which should be a blended whiskey), your bartender poured jack so he could charge more. Disgusting. Absolute distinctive flavor that does not speak of any other whiskey. Third, you poured the drink in a 2 cent plastic cup from sam's club (same place you could get a tall plastic cup from, fyi.....since apparently owners or management have no idea how to manage or operate a club, even on the strip). Fourth, you charged 9.10 for a jack, didn't provide a receipt to indicate that you charged gratuity. No signs posted to indicate that you do charge a gratuity. Without any of that, that would be theft from your patrons (and an extreme level of dishonesty). You are legally obligated to disclose any service charge, and you did not. I should have known something was up when I walked in and 90% of your potential customers had no drink in their hands. This is just not it. This is a failure of mass proportions, even in such a small space. What is up with the bottle service "girls" in a gay club? What in the actual fuck are you thinking in a club smack dab in the middle of the gay community? Are you stupid? Lack of thought process? Thought you might get a different clientelle? Clueless on just about every level you could possibly imagine.

Yelp
Lava has THE most unprofessional VIP staff! How on earth are you going to sell a bottle of Tito's for literally one hour for (I told them) for friends before moving on to the next stop for the owner (he said he was) to kick us out of our table and tell us to move on! Never again!
