I was going to write my first list titled GTL (Gym, tan, laundry for you non-Jersey Shore folks) but then I realized I haven't been to a gym for over a year, I don't tan (because I'm a pasty white Englishman). However, I do know about laundry :)
Ever since I left home I have done my own laundry, from laundrettes, to the days when I owned my washer-dryer. But I always missed the days when my laundry would magically clean itself. One minute it was strewn all around my bedroom floor, the next it was washed and folded and in my wardrobe. Thank you laundry fairy. Somehow, when I moved out of my parent's house, so did the laundry fairy, except we went in different directions, went our separate ways, not to meet again - until now!
I can officially announce that the laundry fairy lives at Lavanderia. It may not live in my bedroom anymore, but heck it's close enough. I drop off a big garbage bag full of dirty clothes and magically within a day the laundry fairy has washed, ironed and folded all of it.
Like all good fairies you have to grease its palm, but at a dollar a pound it's a sweet deal, beats the tooth fairy hands down!
