I am in love with lavish. I’ve been going there for the past 6 months. Started laser hair removal and love the service. And let me tell you about the massage to my face after treatment from Claudie, she has magical hands ❤️❤️❤️. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel Welcomed. I will definitely be continuing services with lavish.

Got two burn marks on both sides of my forehead after IPL laser facial. This is after one week, I thought it would disappear after one week but it's still there. Lateral forehead skin is the thinnest in face so it's better that technicians use less or avoid that area for laser altogether. This was my first IPL so I didn't know but in future I have to make sure that my temples are not lasered. I'm surprised the esthetician didn't know about this. Space was clean, hardly any wait time. Makeup wipes could've been better, the one they gave me didn't remove anything luckily I had brought my own makeup remover which I used in their bathroom.

Claudia is a fantastic esthetician. I came here for IPL facial treatments and she was extremely thorough and kind. My face looks better than it did before (less redness) and my previous acne scars from my early 20s are basically gone now. Will definitely continue coming here in the future when I’m not so busy with work and school. Highly recommend this med spa for all of your beauty needs!

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Very questionable business practices. Brought service over Groupon and informed the person during my phone consultation that I was African American with deeper skin tone. They confirmed it would be fine. I get into the office and now being told that I can’t receive the service. I paid for a three pack of laser which they wanted to exchange for ONE facial! Why would anyone want to do this?! Then we have the very rude front desk person. Who has the customer service skills of a rock! I was told to come in early to take photos and was told to come in 30 minutes prior to my appointment which I did. When I informed her that my time was wasted, she informed me that I was early… yes, I am because that is what I was asked to do! She only tried to apologize after I expressed my dissatisfaction with how highly unprofessional the business is. Please save your time and your money, there is NOTHING LAVISH about this spa, service or experience. They use groupon as a Bait and switch because you can write in the summary that the service isn’t ideal for darker skin. Instead, you pay for a package to be offered ONE facial in exchange. Book with the following spas; Skin Spa Skin Laundry I’ve been to both and always have a wonderful experience!

Leslie manipulative and wildly unprofessional. Dr. Wong is a casual injector who reuses latex gloves, works in a dirty office, does not measure or mark up your face before he injects you. I paid for 12 laser sessions in advance- they told me the special was ending and I needed to purchase by a certain date. I did- and 5 months later the special is still going advertising a machine they don't have. They rescheduled 6 of my 12 sessions so far. They refunded 2 and I have 4 remaining- I am going to contact my bank to see if they will charge back. Based on the other reviews this place should definitely be reported to the medical board, department of health, and better business bureau.

I purchased a facial on Lavish; called the day before to cancel, not realizing I had an appointment with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Society, (I have cancer and wanted to do something nice for myself )which takes for ever to get an appointment. The woman I spoke said not a problem I totally get it. She said you have a year to redeem (which I believe I purchase it in July on Groupon) so I called last week and the man that answered said it’s a 48 hour cancel policy and he would call me back. Never heard back…. So I called him 2 days ago and said sorry but I had my cancer appointment amd the woman I spoke to when I canceled said call when I’m ready, so this man I spoke to said sorry call Groupon nothing I can do. Let me tell you they had the nerve to email me to purchase a facial. Really, he said mam you purchased this a year ago and I said yes aware but I still have up to one year of purchase and it was to see my cancer doctor. He said well sorry can’t do anything and hung up. A woman trying to do something to make her self feel better because of everything I’ve gone through. Amd the first woman I spoke to said you call back whenever you’re ready and she totally understand…. I hope he doesn’t have to deal with the same issue, what if I was his sister or mother. Poor for business. Wow I can’t believe them….:. My name is Jessica Scognamiglio of the want to see exactly who I am in their computer system!!!! So hurt. Hope he never gets cancer because tables do turn….💔

I came here for IPL with Claudia. The service and my experience was fantastic. She was very knowledgable, explained what she was doing, and was thorough. She ended the session by applying sunscreen to ensure my skin would be protected from the sun. It's been 1.5 weeks since my service and my sun spots are starting to slough off and the results are shining through. Very very satisfied with my results; I highly recommend Claudia!

I had a really nice experience first time at this clinic. The lounge was really cute, and, at least when I was there, they were using the space for only 1 client at a time, which helps for a sense of safety. The technicians were warm, friendly, and full of options. I have a lot of experience with a number of their services, and find them quite reasonable, esp their packages. I had an IPL which was expertly done and with care and sensitivity in a very clean environment. I am looking forward to receiving more services. HTH Update: 2024-09-06 -- due to management change cannot recommend. Was improperly credited executed payments, twice, they did not schedule my botox checkin for 2 months then claimed was no longer considered a touch up, failed to call or email back to set up appointments, failed to enter a confirmed booking in reservation system, unprofessional said that "based on my wrinkles... " (this was not the doctor btw), took no ownership. The doctor himself is amazing, the office is clean, well located, and prices affordable. Wish I could be more positive. Note: I REFUSED to pay for the touchup that was late due to the office mismanagement.

Claudia is amazing! She really knows the IPL procedure very well. My skin, after years in AZ and in tanning beds was sun damaged. She quickly ascertained my trouble spots and I left with radiant glowing skin! So excited to see the "new me" and take years off of my skin. I'll definitely be back.

Lavish is so wonderful. The technicians are not only knowledgeable but also so helpful. They've gone above and beyond in helping me choose the length and shape of my lash extensions. I've been back a few times and as someone who likes to run her eyes, I don't get extensions very frequently and this has been the only place where the lashes have lasted for over a month.

BEWARE! Purchased a Groupon for IPL to take care of freckles/sun spots on my face and chest and walked out with 2nd degree burns! It's been 3 weeks since the procedure and there has been little to no improvement in my condition. I've consulted with 3 dermatologists who had never seen such bad burns from IPL. It will cost me thousands to fix the damage and Dr. Wong is unwilling to reimburse me for any treatments done at another facility. His only solution is for me to be treated by his staff... How can I be expected to go back to the place that left me with severe burns?

LADIES PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE ! At this point Lavish should probably just go out of business. I purchased a Groupon back in April for full leg laser hair removal. I went into my first appointment the place was small and well put together. There was a girl at the desk whom informed me of other available sales. After my laser session my info was put in and I would surpassingly be able to book my appointments online. Within a week this site no longer worked and still doesn't. I wanted to go in for my 6 week follow up and bit earlier since the site no longer worked I called and was directed to a female at the call center who does the appointments. She was having a full blown side conversation laughing and all before she decided to help me, She claimed the location was fully booked for the day. (strange as they barley had clients) I decided to go in since I was near by to find that the location was already closed for the day. I gave her a call back where she insisted that they weren't closed of course. Ladies we are now in September I have gone back to this location about 10 times as I work nearby they are ALWAYS closed. This past Friday I went in and surprisingly someone was there of course they had no tech who knew how to do laser. I was given the option to come in any day this week. I was physically there in person when I made my appointment with a new receptionist at the 34th street 7th ave location for tomorrow Sept 11th at 4:30PM. I got a confirmation email and text with this address, today I get a phone call from the call center saying my appointment is at the upper east side location at 4:30 and that the 34th street location is fully booked. She also said the 34th street location is closed on Tuesdays (today) which is news to me since I was told they were opened. This place has so many issues it isn't worth the discounted Groupon price. There are so many better places out there with better customer service where you will have an overall better experience. Laser hair removal is a process, I should have been half way done already and I have yet to make it to my second session.

The girl was very nice I really do want to give her a good review but I simply can not. The IPL does not work. I do this treatment every year in the winter at other laser centers with great results. This time around doing it here gave me absolutely no results. What's the point of making the appointment, taking the time out of your day & enduring an uncomfortable laser sensation for no result! Not to mention the money wasted. Guys do yourself a favor & go to a real laser center or a dermatologist.

This place is unprofessional to the max, and you should not trust your face or body in the hands of this staff. I'm not sure any of them are actually qualified to be trusted with a laser. I purchased an IPL package and after 6 treatments, saw no results. None. It was a waste of a couple hundred dollars. Linda, who is actually really sweet, shoves the tip envelope in your hand before you can leave the room, it's very aggressive and uncomfortable. The staff walks in and out of the rooms during people's treatments. The door would fling open while I had goggles on and gunk all over my face while a member of the staff (who was NOT doing my IPL) chatted or grabbed things from the room. And I've been on the other end and saw a near-naked man getting laser hair removal because one of the staff members (NOT working on this poor man) decided to just enter without knocking while I walked by. Each time I came in and confessed to seeing no results (the promised lightening of freckles and pigmentation), these ladies know how to sweet talk you and assure you it will work next time and to buy another package or to try an expensive peel. It's a scam, do NOT fall for it. I don't think any of these women are actually trained estheticians. They also talk trash about each other, saying you didn't see results because so-and-so is new and "didn't know what she was doing." (Don't want to say names.) They overbook and half of the time, I had to wait 20 minutes after my appointment was set, only to be rushed through my own procedure and receive a half-assed job. The restroom is filthy. The best is when I showed up for my appointment one afternoon and a member of the staff (the new one who doesn't know what she's doing) has a white mask all over her face and could barely communicate because she didn't want to crack the mask. She should probably test the products on her own time.

Brought my mom here for some Photofacial (IPL) sessions my sister and I purchased for her. Before leaving, Leslie pointed out a great treatment for my acne scarring that I've had for so long I pretty much was decided I'd just live with it for life. I probably never would've considered Microneedling if she hadn't recommended it to me and shown me pictures on their iPad of their real clients. I just had my second session of Microneedling done yesterday with Nadine, and I couldn't be happier with the service! The ladies are wonderful, they're always suggesting treatments and products we could benefit from but not in a way that makes me feel obligated to buy. My mom loves Bianca who did her first IPL session. For her second session she had another lady, whose name I'm not sure of, that she wasn't too happy with. She told me the treatment seemed rush and afterwards the lady handed her a tipping envelope. We always tip regardless but my mom wasn't happy feeling obligated to tip that lady. Regardless, that was just one single occasion. Even though IPL isn't doing much for my moms hyper pigmentation, Lavish isn't to blame because we purchased the Groupon assuming that's what my mom needed. To close up this review, all I can say is I'm very happy with my results and Leslie, Bianca and Nadine are amazing! I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Thank you Lavish Laser for a wonderful experience! Went in for a nose bite laser procedure and came out good as new. Just two weeks after and no scars! Didn't even need a second session! Leslie and Bianca are amazing and attentive and truly understand your needs, I'll def be back! Thanks again Lavish Laser, I truly feel Lavishly great ;-)!

I have been going to LL for a few months now, my face is looking great! anyone who I have not seen since last year raves about how great my skin is. I had acne my whole life, and as a result I have a lot of scarring and huge pores. Leslie has been working with me to erase all of those signs :). The Office is very clean, & organized. The staff is very friendly, professional and down to earth. Leslie really knows skin and she will whip up a customized program that will work for the results that you are looking for. from my experience and from the people I talk to when I am in the waiting room, I really think their goal is to make sure that everyone who walks through that door leaves with beautiful skin.

If you are looking for basic courtesy or respect go elsewhere. I have multiple bad experience with Lavishlaser. They initially charged my credit card $300 instead of $100 deposit for an appointment. I called and asked Leslie why was I charged a different amount than they told me. she was so rude and initially denied charging my card. But she called back and apologized, so I decided to give them another chance. Fast forward I kept my appointment time, I took time off work to be there because the procedure I want is only available on Wednesday and Saturday. I came in Saturday on time and Dr Wong was an hour late. I asked the lady on duty "what time will Dr Wong be in because I need to let my boss know I will be late if I wait for him any longer?" Her response "Go and have a seat and wait, I am with a client" I said I need to have an idea how late he will be, so I can decide if I want to wait for him or leave. She coldly said "I don't know and I am with a customer." So I decided to leave. 15 minutes late is understandable and acceptable but one hour. It is just rude and total disregard to customer's time. If you don't mind waiting and dealing with a rude staff. It's the perfect place otherwise, go elsewhere! UPDATE. I made a $100 deposit for my appointment and I left because Dr Wong was one hour late and I have to go to work. Leslie told me I will get a refund. I called her and she said I won't get a refund because I showed up but didn't wait for Dr Wong who I waited for an hour but didn't show up. I am making a chargeback claim with my bank no big deal. Look elsewhere and avoid this place like a plague.

Honestly it was my first time going there . It's a small place I was just concerned about my treatment which was ipl photo facial. I got it on Thursday the treatment was just for 15 minutes or even less. I didn't see any results I just feel like I didn't get any treatment at all. I didn't see any results . waste of money

I wanted to try out IPL photo facial for the first time and saw Lavish offered it through Groupon so I decided to buy a package. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Michelle is great and did my IPL facial. She went out of her way to give me more information on certain treatments that I was interested in. I bought more IPL facials and will definitely be booking them with Michelle for my future sessions. Great service and reasonable prices!

Love love love the staff here - super sweet and comforting and they always make me feel like a million bucks. I came here because of a laser hair removal Groupon and am now a regular client. They have a great variety of beauty services and are very quick and efficient. Big fan, would recommend to anyone, especially those in midtown who want a great option for lunch break or after work beauty services.

Went in for a few IPL photo facials. No results and they expect a tip after each session. I did GroupOn and they wanted tip on the $300 'value' for each service. Staff was very nice, but I felt ripped off/scammed. Six months later, I went to a real Derm for 1 IPL and had excellent results. Btw, real Derms/clinicians don't pressure you for tips, especially, before you've even left the 'treatment' room. The Groupon deal is not a deal. There were absolutely zero improvements and with all the tipping, it's more expensive than a real Derm!

Tread with caution: Dr.Wong can be condescending/rude at times. I guess he's only nice to rich customers.

I would not recommend this place I bought a photo facial and I was told I was too dark for the facial which is a lie because I've done a photo facial once before and had no issue, but I went along with them. They are very friendly and that's where they get you (Leslie). They said I should do a chemical peel instead im about 100% sure they recommended this because ,my apt was at 630 on valentine's day and they just wanted to leave, fine! I understand but they then asked that I had to pay an additional 50 for the chemical peel because what I had paid for the Photo facial was not enough... another lie! If anything a chemical peel would be less then a facial I paid it but they seem to be scammers. I will never be back or recommend to anyone because of their dishonesty

I was so shocked to see this star rating because I have to start by saying I love the receptionist at lavish! She is always friendly and helpful and down for a chat. I went for the skinny shots and although it didn't help to slim down the pounds because I personally didn't follow the directions of what to do. I also didn't gain weight so there's that! The ladies that helped me were always very friendly! I would would recommend this place for the convenient location, easy scheduling and very friendly atmosphere.

I went to Lavish Laser after purchasing a Groupon for a full-face IPL photofacial. Everyone in the office was so nice and welcoming! Even though I was late to my appointment, they still managed to squeeze me in, and Bianca, who did my photofacial, didn't rush at all. She was really attentive, and I felt like I was in great hands, which is super important when someone is using a laser on your face! The procedure was really comfortable and not at all painful, and within a few hours my skin looked awesome. Overall, I'm really impressed with this spa! The staff is kind and knowledgeable; the atmosphere is welcoming, and the services are top notch. I would recommend it in a heartbeat, and I'll definitely be returning in the future.

The women at lavish are really knowledgeable and offer a wide range of services. Every time I've gone I get great results! Be sure to communicate exactly what you want - Michele and Lesley have always treated my skin with such care.

Very unprofessional service. The tightening laser results last less than 24 Hrs. I wanted to use a groupon $50 for one session. Leslie convinced me to take three for $150. Once the facial is done you do feel the skin different. Next day you wake up like nothing happened. On my next appointment, (I had the hope the more I did the better results), the machine was broken and Leslie schedule me for the photo-facial. I corrected her so she sent me home after wasting my time. I thought things thru I asked Leslie to return the money only for the two sessions I didn't received. Even tho I wasn't happy with anything that happened before. She said that If I do that I will have to pay the regular price which was $299. I ONLY WANTED ONE!! I had to call my back and resolve to resolve this. When you have this kind of procedures you need someone who is interested more on you satisfaction than your money. I recently went to anothe Spa, got a better procedure and I feel soo much better and happy.

I've gone to over 10 different Med Spas over the course of 3 years and can never find one that I would go back to regularly. I recently got a PhotoFacial here and I'm already seeing results. The staff here is exceptional! Leslie is a GEM who is so warm and welcoming and most importantly has such an immense amount of knowledge about all treatments, and the ones that will benefit you specifically. I highly recommend Lavish Laser to anyone who wants to find there "GO TO" Med Spa!

I had such a great experience at Lavish Laser. I initially went to one of their mixers and everyone was soo nice and informative regarding their services!! Leslie, the owner determined I could use a few sessions of micro needling to correct some deep pores and acne scars. After one session I saw dramatic differences!!! I can't wait to go back to continue the Improvement I've seen!! I highly recommend Lavish Laser to all my friends for all their skin care needs! Leslie and Dr. Wong are a godsend!

I had an amazing experience here. When i called to inquire about the different packages I was told about the groupon and purchased the 3 Photofacial package. Amazing price. When i went in for my treatment I was greeted and taken within 5 minutes. Linda was super nice and helpful the treatment was about 25 minutes and the next day i saw immediate results. I have sun damage and freckles which have all cleared up after just 1 treatment i cannot wait for the 2nd and 3rd treatment that will hopefully clear all the sun damage. Overall an amazing turn out especially for the price. I highly recommend this Treatment center for all your beauty needs.

Going to have to echo some other reviews--I bought a package of 3 IPL sessions on Living Social, and didn't notice any difference (and I took my own before and after shots.) Everyone there is very nice, but they do pressure you to tip after each session. For zero results, I feel that I wasted my money.

I did my IPL laser yesterday and till this morning nothing happened in my face. I have done laser 6-7 times in my life. This time during procedure, I did not feel any pain at all, mostly just a bit heat. the Technician who did my face was quite nice, I told her I did not feel any pain and she tried to increase the strength 3 times and she did 3 times on my face, however other than slightly heat at end, I do not feel any pain. I told her my concern but she insist she sees reaction in my face...I only get a bit red because she was trying quite hard to press the tool on my face. the truth was when I looked at mirror on the laser bed, I see nothing. I also took picture of it while in the laser office. This is really not good, feel like a scam. This morning when I wake up again, I see nothing, absolutely nothing in my face. every time I did laser before, I would see something turns a bit dark,some color changing of my spot... I feel either my technician did not use the machine correctly to Asian face or the machine is scam. I took another picture this morning as evidence... I really feel I waste my 3 hours to go there and be there and all money I spent on 3 times group-on,my commute and tips I gave her. I am in the process of asking for refund.

Aweful service and facial! I've had photofacials before at different spas, some expensive and some cheap ones. Considering what I paid for the package I didn't have high expectations, but boy did they set a new bar for low expectations. Very rude front desk, one of those places where you walk in and it just puts you in a bad mood. Both times I had to wait over 20 minutes and they don't apologize or provide a reason. The facialist seemed very off and inadequate in her behavior. The room was not clean and she didn't clean my face prior to using the machine. The facial lasted less than 10 minutes typically they last 20-30 min. Second appointment they checked me in and disappeared, i waited for over half an hour and left. You'd think they would call to apologize.

Ariana is a gem. She makes you feel at home and comfortable. Ariana gets a feel for what you would like to accomplish and suggests a plan that will work for you in the most honest way. She explains what she is going to do and prepares you for what is going to happen. A true professional with a sweet personality... great experience

I was very disappointed in my service here. I bought an IPL on groupon, and was convinced to instead get a chemical peel. I knew nothing about chemical peels, and was told I would be able to return to work the next day "looking flawless"! This was not the case. My face was burning and peeling for a week and I had to take off work because of the embarrassment and discomfort. I would have never undergone this treatment had I known. My face doesn't look any better. Additionally, I sent an email to the business prior to writing this review but they failed to respond. I wouldn't recommend lavish laser, but if you do choose to get a treatment, definitely research beforehand because I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I did.

ive been meaning to post this for awhile but, terrible terrible terrible customer service. the girls at the front desk are super unprofessional, don't even bother with an appointment because you won't be seen anywhere close to your actual time. they don't honor their "deals" and sometimes its like they just make up their prices as they go along. I feel like their services don't work and don't even bother with the upper east location unless you want more terrible service. what a waste of time and money. Just check on Groupon or something for somewhere else instead

I came across Lavish Laser Spa through groupon, so far I am really happy with the services and the staff. They have been warm, welcoming and keep me comfortable throughout my treatment. They have been great about answering all of my questions and realistic on how long the treatments will take to achieve the look I want. I will continue to get treatments here, the prices are can't be beat!
