Overall a nice experience, the atmosphere was relaxed and the service was good. Supremely enjoyed the crawfish cakes. Curious to see what other seasonal items Chef Thomas has lined up in the future!

We went here with a family of 4 and ordered the lamb/grits, the blueberry pancakes, and the regular pancakes. The service we had was great, however the flavor and the portion size needs to be improved. The lamb was tasty, but the grits did not have much flavor. We were also disappointed with the small portion of lamb. The pancakes also were not good. It lacked a sweetness that you expect from pancakes and they were undercooked (doughy). Not worth $18 for 2 pancakes. We did not finish our meals. We told the server about our experience and paid for our meal before we left. The restaurant did not offer anything such as a new meal or a discount for our poor food experience.

I visited Lavitta's a few weeks ago and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the Wild Shrimp Avocado Bowl and Crawfish Cakes, both of which were delicious—the shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the avocado bowl was fresh and flavorful. The Crawfish Cakes were mouthwatering. For dessert, the Beignets were light, fluffy, and irresistible. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The restaurant's unique Creole vibe and charming antique decor makes it standout. I’m excited to return and try more of their menu!

Attended with some friends to celebrate an event and the overall experience was not a plus. We received an apology from the owner and coming in with a clear mind for the new restaurant we gave her grace. However, from the multitude of issues with the waiter not allowing us to make adjustment to the menu, giving us a hard time to get a side of an item. It seems as if they were not prepared for the group of people in the building driving up wait times and pushing out food that is not yet at its peak quality. Consistency is important. When others at the table receive the same dish as you but all 3 have different tastes OR when food comes out not hot to the table, there’s a true problem with the systems in place. Constructively, we may need to take a moment to re-evaluate the way in which we serve and the way in which the restaurant ensures quality — warm food versus hot is not acceptable as well as food that may not have been consistently seasoned. From beignets to french toast — not pleased. Now take this review with a grain of salt, this is their first week and can get better but as of now, they are not prepared for the public. But praying they will be soon.

Went here unplanned with my wife and toddler. Unfortunately, we had to leave suddenly due to my son having a meltdown. Very kind and understanding staff, who went to extra lengths to prepare delicious food for us to go. Recommend the crab cakes!

If you are a fan of creole cuisine (or have never tried it), you must check out this new restaurant. Food was spiced to perfection; shrimp practically melted in our mouths. Highly recommend it.

Yelp
My sister and I went to have an early dinner a couple Saturdays ago and we had a wonderful time! We both had a Puffed bowl and shared a Wild Shrimp Po'boy. It was so good, we ordered another Po boy! She also ordered one to go! Will definitely return, loved the atmosphere! Everyone was super friendly with great service!

Yelp
I stopped by here during a soft opening and enjoyed a really nice meal, which included some of the best lamb I've had in a while. Service was friendly, and there was a nice, relaxed atmosphere in the place. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the decoration, and it feels like a great neighborhood spot. I was surprised to find out the restaurant used to be a salon--the bar at the back looks like it's always been there! The menu is well priced, and I really liked the variety of beer and wine they had to offer, too.
