This is the first Farmers Market that welcomed me. I went a little after they opened so truthfully I was in and out. The one farm that I bought from, I wish I would have looked at their name, was so nice and friendly. I will look for them when I go back.

This is a welcoming neighborhood farmer's market. The Arsenal Park location makes shopping even on the hottest days throughout the summer a relaxing experience. The farmer's market is unique in that in addition to the weekly market, it also holds larger special events monthly! We got to compete in the pie baking competition last year and it was a blast! Definitely check out this Tuesday night summer market in Arsenal Park!

This is such a happy experience. It is refreshing to see how pleasant both the vendors and the public are at this location. Some of the farmers markets can be quite dysthymic; this is not one of them. A very happy day out with my dog!

I visit every Tuesday! It's one of my favorite places to go each week. The people running the stands are nice, and the produce is always delicious. There's always a unique variety to choose from - whether you want fruits, vegetables, baked goods, beer, or caramels. I especially love the caramels from hGrace and the pickles from Pickled Chef! Don't forget to bring back your glass jug to get more milk from Freedom Farms (best chocolate milk you'll ever drink). Plus, they've included great measures to mitigate spread of COVID and strongly enforce them, making it a safe place to go even in times of crises. A staple in the community.

Yelp
The Lawrenceville farmers market on Tuesdays is phenomenal! Some really fantastic vendors selling some great products! Must try the espresso soda from presshousepgh - a true coffee lover's drink. Open between 3-7 every Tuesday at @bay41pgh , add this to your farmers market list! There's plenty of parking available around the block!

Yelp
I went to the Lawrenceville Farmers Market for the first time in over a year this week. Usually I go to the Bloomfield Saturday Market, but knew it would be too crazy up there during Little Italy Days. The Lawrenceville one is small and quiet, and very enjoyable. I did a quick lap around to see what was available. I needed fresh produce, and I found exactly what I was looking for. There was a good selection of heirloom tomatoes at a few of the vendors. The Harvest Valley Farms table is huge and they always have a good selection for a reasonable price. They also take credit cards which is helpful. I can't get all of my groceries here, but it is nice to get some local produce in the middle of the week.

Yelp
Out of all the local farmers markets this has to be one of my favorites. For the small area it takes up in Arsenal Park, there are plenty of local vendors selling everything from amazing homemade breads and treats to pastas, sauces and oils. Let's not forget fresh, locally grown fruits and veg too. Definitely a must every Tuesday evening in the summer!

Yelp
I've been to some good farmer's markets, some bad ones and a few great ones. This one rates above average, but doesn't quite hit the 'great' scale in my opinion. They do have some unique things, but I'm not sure if that was limited to the day I visited or if the same people are there all the time. I have to say that I like a bargain. There aren't many to be had here, with exception of the management area. In this location, (right in front), you can buy tokens by card, (credit or SNAP), and for every $5 you buy in tokens, you get a $2 coupon for fresh fruits and vegetables. Like anywhere else, some vendors are better than others. Overall, they're pretty friendly, but a few not so much. There wasn't much in the way of fruit, which kind of was a let down. I got peaches and cherries from 2 different vendors. The cherries were pretty equal, but one of the peaches was superior. I'd advise asking for a sample before buying. Some vendors offer samples. I tried the hard ciders and wasn't impressed. They are very dry, and I had expectations of them being more sweet than dry. If dry wines are your thing, they might be for you. This stand also had other things, and I did try a few things. I was a bit disappointed that some stock was very limited. The only stand that had eggplant only brought 5 small ones and they were snatched up as I was in line. The baked goods were very good and I thought priced right. The foccocia bread was done well, with a cheese finish that made it exceptional. I thought there could have been more vendors in attendance. I did get corn there, reasonably priced and I was assured it was fresh picked. It was very good corn. Some reviews favor the coffee vendor, which I did not try. I like this location better than the Arsenal Park one. It is more compact and not spread out like the one at the park. The first hour has a mask mandate in place, so if masks aren't your thing, avoid the first hour. On the other hand, with some things being in short supply, you could miss out on a few things.

Yelp
Well this was a confusing experience. I had heard about the Lawrenceville Farmer's Market before, and my friend and I decided to stop by after finishing lunch at Franktuary last Saturday. I pictured dozens of stands overflowing with fresh produce and homemade goods. What we got was a parking lot with maybe five vendors. Nothing against those vendors; the goods all seemed high-quality and everyone seemed friendly. It just was not what I expected. I later found out that this was the first week the market was open this summer. Maybe that explains the sparse turnout--their website lists quite a few vendors that participate. I will be moving to Lawrenceville this summer, so I can only hope that this is the case!
