Laws Whiskey House

Colorado's oldest and one of it's most prestigious whiskey distillers also has one of the best tour and tasting experiences in the state. I've done countless tastings at distilleries of all kinds and many tours, but no one has ever offered a better experience than Laws Whiskey House. The knowledge was so easily digestible even at an hour long, thanks to the presentation, interaction and genuine passion of our tour guide. They were also very generous with their pours along the way, which would seem like a given with this sort of thing but actually rarely is. With the addition of a giant brand new tasting room and bar space coming soon, this will easily become more and more of a destination for all who share a passion for distilling and delicious brown water. Whiskey lovers rejoice!

We enjoyed the tasting & tour. Our guide was super nice & very informative. We loved how she included everyone in the experience by asking what you smelled & tasted, etc. Loved it! The tour was interesting. If you're in the area, definitely give it a go!

This was the best distillery experience I’ve ever had! Our tour guide was very personable, she made it very clear and easy for us to understand their process and although I’m not a whiskey enthusiast, during our tasting, she really helped me identify notes and the differences between everything! Took home a bottle of rye and I will definitely be back in the future to get more!

Tucked just one block off Broadway in the Park Hills neighborhood is a discreetly hidden high-end, whiskey distillery. Laws is doing whiskey the right way, with high-end ingredients and honest work to create a product that is approachable and also incredibly delicious. Highly encourage you to plan ahead for a private tour, but even if you can’t, you should come in for a public tour and enjoy the knowledge, base and kindness, and well educated staff here at the distillery. Laws hosts a tasting room with all of their bottled offerings as well as opportunities to purchase unique bottles you can only find here. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

My wife got her and I a private tour for my birthday and we had such an incredible time. Helen was our guide and encouraged questions and gave us such unique experience. She helped my wife learn how to enjoy whiskey. The tour was my favorite part of our trip out here.

I enjoyed the tour. They are friendly and care about the flavor of their whiskey. I enjoyed the conversation with the owner. The annual trip I will be making to see how they expand. It will be interesting to watch.

Great tour and tasting room. Book your tour ahead of time on the website. Casey was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and fun. Liked everything I tried (bourbon, and corn rye wheat and barley whiskies, and more). They make some really nice agave spirits (basically tequila) in both a silver and gold (like a reposado). Highly recommend. Was a really fun time.

Laws did a mixed 2 day staff tour for my restaurant and it was awesome! A comprehensive walk through for people of all knowledge levels, a tasting at the end, group photos... It was a blast. Do yourself a favor and go check out one of Denver's best distilleries.
