LAX Wine and Spirits

Tremendous selection of wine, beer and liquor at very reasonable prices. Plenty of available parking and there's a Costco right next door (really convenient). The store is spotless, products displayed tastefully, and a great team that is responsive, courteous, efficient, friendly and geared to the best customer service you can find. Watson was my great helper - he helped me load up my cart, find products that would have been impossible for me to locate by myself, took my cart to the car and unloaded everything and refused a tip! (It was a $5 tip and I didn't have that much to unload in the car but his refusal, signifying that he was just doing his job, really impressed me. ) Rashad, the manager, was there to find an esoteric beer and Milton and Lindsay, the cashiers, were friendly, as usual. Prices were good but really a disappointment when comparing to old management. When it was old line, the owner was super friendly and helpful. I once told him I wasn't sure if I would like scotch. He invited me to his office and let me try 4 or 5 from his own collection. The new management barely acknowledge you and staff and not overly friendly. And for some reason one wears elf ears. So I now go to calverton

My family and I were just entering the store for the first time when we were stop by a security guard that was disguising his face with a ski mask and asking us to leave our expensive MCM purses at the front of the store with him. It is discriminatory action because they have cameras, any security guard, you don’t need me to leave my purse with you. Then the manager comes out looking very unprofessional rubbing his nose 👃🏼💊 and agreeing with these practices saying it was because crime is high DO not come here total wine is just up the street.

Just left LAX liquors it was 8 pm and was treated like it was 10 am , such great assistance .“ Rashad “ gave me the greatest assistance in selecting wines for my wine pairing event. Rashad is highly knowledgeable , he deserves a promotion.

Best prices in the whole DMV, amazing store , I drove by 45 minutes but this store deserve it

Entered this establishment after shopping here since they opened! Purchased $544 worth of alcohol which I often do! Makers Mark Whiskey has sign clearly displayed @ $52.99, so along with my purchase I grabbed 4 half gallons which rung up @ $54.99. When I brought this to the attention of the lifeless cashier, he then got the manager to confirm, I then showed the manager the displayed amount on the sign to which he said that he would not honor the price displayed because the prices changed the previous day. To go back and forth with a customer over your stores error is asinine on any given day! You have truly loss a true and faithful customer…poor customer service all for the sake of $8.

This place really thought I was going to leave MY purse at the counter because it’s too big! Take your money out and leave it over there. I said, you can check my purse before I leave. He said we don’t check bags. Yet they wanted me to leave it while I shop! Tuh! That’s your opportunity to look in my bag. Too funny. No thanks- I will go somewhere else. SMH. Neverrrr again. Of course my money doesn’t court, it’s the principle!

I've been shopping here for years but some reason they stop selling Modello Oro which is my favorite beer. Because of this I have been traveling out to Laurel's Total Wine & More to purchase them along with my other list of spirits for one-stop shopping. LAX has lost a steady customer until they decide to restock this particular beer.
