First time here. They have a large variety. It felt so good to be in there and more so their prices are unbeatable. I loved it. Some isles are small and I was scared I could accidentally knowoff an expensive drink. I did not get Goya malt here. Service was very good though. For the price of booze, I'll be back.

The prices are the BEST part of the shopping experience! If you’re purchasing multiple items it’s definitely well worth coming here vs other neighboring liquor stores because of the lower price difference. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Shelves are always well stocked and it’s a huge selection of everything you want and then some. Store is clean and organized too. Never long lines. Parking is not an issue at least whenever I go even though it’s a semi small parking area. I definitely enjoy shopping here and recommend this location.

today was my last day coming in there. I usually take my bag in there because I don't wanna get charged I was told to leave my bag at the door. I'm not a thief and I don't appreciate being treated like I'm suspected of being one no worries I'll just go to Total Wine and Moore.

Great selection of bourbon & whiskey, among many others. Had a good selection of barrell picks as well. Only wish could have picked up a Rare Character barrell picks at the time of visit.

I was looking for a specific item, so I called instead of showing up first. It just so happens that I found them on Yelp, after my first option did not have the product available. The reviews were mixed, so I was somewhat concerned about giving them a try. However, I decided to go and avoid any of the issues that other people have experienced, such as "no large purses and don't bring your own bag". Lo and behold, when I called they had what I was looking for and for a decent price. The person who answered the call confirmed that they had a number of the product available, so I went the following day. When I arrived, I was still concerned about the visit. I didn't know where the product was located, so I asked security for assistance. He walked me to the product. I got the product and went straight to the checkout counter. It was a quick and easy visit. I saw another item for a great price that I would have purchased, but I decided to keep the visit short and sweet. It appears to be a well organized store with a large variety of items. I would possibly return for something specific.

They have some of the best prices in town however I don't like how they operate. This store makes you feel like a criminal upon arrival. If your purse is big you have to leave it upfront with security- - - WTH. If you don't want to leave your purse then you have to take it back to your car. This just pisses me off. I understand people steal from here but I'm also sure that every store more than likely deals with theft, and I've neeeever been told to leave my personal property (only shopping bags) anywhere while shopping. You also have employees walking around watching like a hawk, which is a bit uncomfortable as well. They have a large selection and good prices, which is the only reason I come back. It's also closer to my house but every now and then I drive to the DC location.

*Updated Review* Congrats on 4 years!! This place gets a lot of business, and it is well deserved! I've been coming from the beginning and will continue to. I appreciate the convenient hours and great customer service. They're always well stocked and you really can't beat these prices. They occasionally have events and tastings! Owner, Lax does a lot for the community and takes pride in his business. I wish them nothing but continued success!

Having a gathering & was going to go to c0$tc0 but a friend told me about LAX. Not only did it save me a trip to the city, but I got several full size liquor bottles AND the large bottles of wine (cuz those get run thru!) for a very good price. Full selection of liqueurs and mixers. Big store but not overwhelming, clean, and contemporary farm style decor. Wines are labeled by where they're made, kinda nice. I found my French rose' easily!

Go here for high quality, variety, and basic beer selections. I came here to get something special for an event happening the same day. I usually would go for Blue Label, but I saw this place had a ton of options. I ended up getting one of the Reserve bottles locked in the end case and had a cashier get one quickly from the back. Prices are pretty good and service is great. Definitely the top option in the area and there is plenty of parking and security inside this store.

Suggest avoiding for craft beer. The selection is very mediocre, and they keep ancient stock on the shelf. For example, just picked an interesting-looking dogfish head, and after opening the box, much to my surprise this was canned over a year ago. $18 bucks for 4 beers that have been sitting at room temp for a year. Never again, LAX, never again.

Incredible selection, one of the nicest liquor stores I've ever seen. Well-organized, huge variety, friendly staff, immaculate. And surprisingly well-priced. Excellent value!

One of my favorite spirit spots. Great prices on high quality spirits and wines. The customer service is amazing there as well. You will Love this place.

I still come here on the regular. I have been lucky to catch them for a few tastings, and the deals are still as great as ever! Another thing I've noticed is their occasional partnerships where they have the coolest displays highlighting brands, such as Uncle Nearest! I've been lucky enough to not experience any stock issues, and I still don't understand why there is never a crowd here. Literally, the longest I think I've ever waited in line was 5 minutes. One thing to note is that the inside of the place is a cellular deadzone. But they have Wi-Fi! Just ask and you won't be cut off from the world while you peruse through their awesome selections!

Large Selection period. Very good prices. You can take your time and walk around. Clean store very friendly employees and knowledgeable.

Give a shout out to lots of liquor store since y'all have moved in to our community. This has been nothing but a blessing from God a person that never probably live in this country does so much for our city. Just want to tell you to keep up the great work we appreciate you Well I do anyway

Great prices when they have liquidations, they have online ordering, but they will not let you order liquidation deals online. Are they barred from making the items being liquidated look cheep? This place sells single bottles of booze in the tens of thousand dollars. It's a shame you have to call them before you go, and they will not save anything for you.

Great prices. Cheaper than Total Wine. Never crowded so it's easy to get in and out. My 2 complaints: 1) they are slow to restock shelves. Frustrating to see what you want stored above the shelf. Takes a while to find someone to get stuff down. 2) they are frequently out of items. Especially box wine. Went three times over a 2 week period and it was still out. Gave up and went to Total wine and bought 2 cases.

I stopped by this LAX location in search of a few items that I normally can purchase at the original location on Naylor Road, SE, DC. It was very clean, neatly organized, and spacious. The sales associates were very eager to assist and were available to assist. The prices were very reasonable and they had a very stocked supply of beer, wine, hard liquor and mixers. Only thing, they didn't carry they very it we came in search for. Pretty disappointing. I will say they had plenty of other items that were familiar to me, just not what I was looking for at the time. The staff did say they were going to get some other items in stock. Since they're only a few months old, I'm sure they'll have many more things in the future, but it was just disappointing to come here and not get what I was looking for. I will come back tho. Great spot to purchase from if you're in the neighborhood.

Wow! I was recommended by a friend to check this place out. It was really far from my home, but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I have to say that the selection here was great. They have a lot of options and it was closer to a warehouse of alcohol than a store. So much to choose from and even had the mixtures for cocktails as well. It was a good one stop shop. The benefits did not just end at the selection. There are bigger places than this place, but what made me really like this place was the fact that the prices was noticeably less than other competitors. The tax is still high, but that is determined by the state, but the base price is much less than other places - especially near my home. If I am in the area, I would definitely drop by just to save a couple more dollars.

They treat their patrons like criminals by demanding that they leave medium-large sized purses at the front with security. Imaging me leaving my Fendi with top flight only for it to go missing before I can retrieve it lol... I won't be returning. Very tasteless. Not worth saving a few bucks. Do better.

LAX is Beltsville is Awesome. A little smaller than total wine but they have quite the options and selection for liquor connoisseurs. I was impressed with Bourbon and Whiskey selections and even more impressed by the pricing. On my last visit, I had a chance to taste wines from South Africa and Corn Vodka from the Ukraine. Great place. Worth the visit.

I was denied entry into Lax because I attempted to enter with my MCM Tote purse. I was informed I would have to leave my purse up front because there has been a lot of theft. The security had a ski mask on so if I was foolish enough to do what was asked. Who could I say I left my purse with. I was told "that's why they have cameras". I replied you should have cameras to survail your store for theft. Management was terrible. He informed me to call the media. I feel they are using discrimatory practices. They are only selecting certain people because another woman entered with a purse the same size as mine and was not stopped. Don't come here if you want good service. I want to alert everyone.

My daughter and I came to the Beltsville MD store on Saturday, October 22 and were told that we could not bring our handbags in the store. The man at the entrance counter said we could leave our bags with them. Are you kidding me? Leave our personal items with you? We were both prepared to spend a combined $600 in the store. We normally spend anywhere from $400 to $600 every time we come.  But because of the behavior and absurd request to leave our handbags with them, we immediately left the store. Questions: Are you assuming that women with large handbags are thieves? Are you stereotyping your shoppers? Are you racial profiling? Are you sure the thievery is not by your own employees? Instead of insulting return customers, you should invest in security systems and scanners that would alarm if patrons are stealing merchandise.  This was an embarrassing moment for us; I deleted my original positive review when you first opened; and I will not be returning to your store.  I will be notifying the media, state licensing, and your board of directors, and headquarters about this embarrassing customer experience.

I was a fan of the former store, Old Line Beer & Wine, and was saddened when they decided to close. To be fair, I was willing to patronize LAX Wine & Spirits if they offered a good selection of beers that Old Line was well-known for. Regrettably, LAX really knows very little about beers. The staff person that was trying to help me with a good pilsner beer had a very limited selection of this type of beer. He was willing to special order something for me, but that can be time-consuming and a long wait depending on the distributor. Interestingly, the clerk who checked me out (I ended up buying a six-pack of some mainstream beer) didn't even know what a pilsner beer was. Gone are many of the local beers and specialty micro and craft brews that Old Line carried. Gone are all the specialty and seasonal displays that they were so well known for, as well as the knowledgeable staff that could always recommend another beer that I have never tried. LAX sells run-of-the-mill beers to people that are looking to buy another run-of-the-mill case- definitely not my style. Again, I want to be fair to LAX- it's not a bad place to buy your alcohol, as long as they have what you want. But if you are a beer aficionado looking for the many niche beers that Old Line used to carry, this isn't the place to go.

Great prices, tons of options, friendly workers, great location I couldn't say anything better about this place!!! Probably if it was open more late that would be cool!

great variety and prices. best prices in town no doubt about it. have hard to find bourbons and wines most of the times available. MD store is bit more calm and quite then DC store.

Refused to sell a case of product along with last packs of the same product. My wife and I were told by a short Hispanic individual that we could not purchase the products because it was the last of it and that he wanted "his customers" to purchase it, since we "weren't familiar" to his store. He came off as very unprofessional and rude by saying that to us. Our response was "how about we just leave it all and not purchase it." He said it was up to us, so we said "fine" and immediately left the store. I guess our money is no good there is what he basically told us.

This used to be Old Line and was recently taken over by LAX. We actually enjoyed Old Line but we also really enjoy this as LAX too! I feel like its previous existence was more focused on wine and beer - which is still a focus here, but there seems to be a much more wide variety of liqour and other spirits. I honestly sometimes come here with no idea of what I want and just browse the store to find some new additions to our home bar. The staff are very helpful as well. I came once and mentioned I wanted tequila and based on my preferences, the staff member was able to help me find something I may like. I've also asked about the best ingredients to make boozy hot chocolate, and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly with their help. They also have an IG page, which highlights some of the specials throughout the week. This location has definitely become our go to. I do hope they continue the great prices, variety of choices and hospitality.

They have great prices, but for some reason they always keep an eye on me while i shop, as if I'm going to steal something. The lady manager and their security always give me those vibes. The guy managers aren't outward with it, but i can tell they always go to the security cameras (they're to the left of the entrance of the store) They make it seem like "they greet all their customers" but there's been plenty of times I've been there and no one says anything to me. However, i have noticed they will stand in certain places to watch me, or act as if they're going to the same part of the store I'm walking to. I addressed the lady manager and asked her if they have a lot of thief, and her response is "we greet all our customer". Meanwhile, she never answered my question, so i knew she was trying to back paddle for her actions. It ashamed when businesses treat black people like this.

LAX. As we call it in Southfeast! Its the Only Liquor, worth going to. Best price's and customer service. No matter how crowded, with 6 registers open. Your in and out. Great Selection. Above All! Thank you for your contributions to the community.

One of the biggest spirits store I have been to so far in the DMV area except for BK Miller's. This establishment literally has everything to pick from! They house anywhere from high end libations to low end! I found some rare finds that my husband was looking for! I like that they have sort of a grocery store type of checkout layout! Everyone was very helpful finding me what I need. The store is in a shopping center towards the back so when driving keep your eyes peeled. They were following great COVID safety logistics with their one way in and out abs everyone was wearing masks! Definitely a place to visit if you are ever in this area. Plenty of parking!

OMG!! I went in today for the first time at the Beltsville location and I felt like a kid in a candy store!! I LOVE IT!!!

I probably shouldn't have visited this spot after a couple of drinks because I was a kid in a candy store. Extensive selection with great prices. I usually go to Costco in DC to buy my liquor and wine but this gave me the same price vibe without it having to be a gigantic bottle. It was around the holidays and they had great gift packs - if we weren't virtual I would have loaded up for gifts for colleagues. Another day I came in to buy Champagne and the person who helped me was super knowledgeable and friendly.

I've bought probably some sort of defective Altos Anejo tequila and it's gotten me sick resulting in vomit and diarrhea and I brought the tequila back to the store nonetheless, the manger wasn't willing to accept to return or replace the tequila and I've given him to trash it since I don't wanna drink it and get sick anymore.

I love this store. It realy is like going to the adult candy store. You can not beat there prices.
