"Born from a burnout — when Avery told his wife he 'just want to open a sandwich shop' — the couple turned that dream into Layers, which evolved from a Capitol Hill apartment pop-up to a cult-favorite sandwich truck and is now opening a brick-and-mortar at Green Lake (targeting July 5).
