Good empanadas, tasted fresh. I’ve been Argentina 🇦🇷 and ate empanadas there and these are pretty similar. 4.5/5 Got one of each 1-8. My favorite was the steak. The rest were alright. My least favorite were the beef the barbecue chicken. There wasn’t much of a difference between the normal beef and the spicy beef, and they each had kind of a sweet flavor.

DEEELICIOUS, we, my service dog and I have been back several times, for the spinach chees empanada. There are some other goodies, a menu to fit all appetites, so enjoy. These will fill you up more than you realize, and delicious, crispy crust and silky smooth fillings. Unfortunately they really raised their prices, $10 plus tax and tip makes a heafty price for 2 small empanada, but they are delicious

My wife and I recently visited Denver and took a downtown food tour as a way to see what Denver's culinary scene has to offer. Lazo was the second stop in our tour. We sampled their ground beef empanada - what a blast of flavor. The rmpanada was delicious, very well seasoned, full of flavor, and they are baked! However, the best part might have to be the chimichurri sauce served on the side. Feel free to add a glass of wine to your order and make it a date night or post work stop.

I don't know how many times I've driven past this place before i finally made a stop for a quick dinner tonight. Wondering why I hadn't...Really great tasting empanadas, great variety, and the prices are not too crazy, given its proximity to Coors Field. You can choose from a dozen savory fillings ("Savory"), a handful of sweet (chocolate, caramel, etc.) fillings, or other items like salads. Indoor seating and some seats outside on the street. Parking is on the street (watch for traffic, it's Park Avenue) with parking meters. Overall, a nice place to grab a quick bite.

Delicious empanadas, we came here on a food tour and it was definitely one of the stars of the tour, got to try the ground beef but doubled back after the tour to order caprese, and spicy chicken & steak. Detoxifies all around and great location near Coors field! Would highly recommend!

Located on 22nd St & Larimer St. I'm not sure what the parking situation is since we were introduced to this place while on a food tour. This Argentinian lil' spot has the best beef Empanadas I've ever had! Perfectly flaked. I tried their Beef Empanada with a glass of red wine. With my empanada, I had their 'Chimichurri' sauce which consists of oregano, vinegar, olive oil, and possibly other ingredients. I had never tried this type of sauce, and I'm so glad I did because I'm obsessed. They also serve coffee, dessert, beer, wine, salads & more. Lazo's is the perfect spot for that light, small quick bite, and very satisfying. Overall, we had a great experience at this location.
