Birria tacos were amazing! The corn, beans and rice were also delicious. I'm not from here but this will my go to every time I come to MKE.

Visiting from SoCal, I was skeptical about a taco place in the Midwest but WOW! This place is legit and has the best homemade chips & salsa I've ever had. I had the tostadas - the carne asada was decent but the chicken was loaded with flavor.

Their birria taco was the best and I STRONGLY recommend shrimp tacos too!!! Very very impressive!!! First time when I went there, I ate the shrimp taco so I couldn’t upload the photo. This time, I remembered! Every time I come here, I forget to take pictures because I just gobble it up! We drive over an hour to come here! Good quality meat, good portion, good service! Thank you, Martha!!!

Coming from a San Diego girl who loves her Mexican food over anything else…. Lazo’s Taco shop is the real deal!!!! The Birria with consomé…. Mmmm yummy!!!

Patricia delivered outstanding customer service when my friend and I visited from Chicago and stopped by for the sangria. The sangria did not disappoint, as it was one of the best we've ever had. Patricia's warm and welcoming demeanor made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend stopping by for the sangria and experiencing the excellent customer service for yourself!

Being my first Milwaukee layover in a few years I was eager to try Lazo’s because of everyone raving about the birria tacos. I will say this, the moment I took a bite of the chips and salsa, I knew the food would be good. A good chips and salsa is a strong indication anywhere of things to come. The birria tacos did not disappoint. The meat was tender, juicy and had soul in it and paired with the consommé it was phenomenal. All in all the food hit the spot. Service was also excellent and the server with the glasses was very attentive. I look forward to coming back on my next Milwaukee layover!

I thought this little place was excellent. Smaller menu, but big on quality. The Birria tacos are the way to go! Someone in my party said it wa the best chimichanga he has ever had. We had a group of 10 and walked in, they were able to accommodate no problem. The service was good and food came out fast. The drink menu was extensive. We didn’t get any pictures of the food besides the delicious fresh salsa because we ate it so fast!

Quality food!! Top notch service and the owners are not afraid to rolll there sleeve up and step in !!
