Lazy Bear Den

My family and I had an incredible stay at Lazy Bear Den in September. The listing was spot-on, and the owners were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. They were always quick to respond to any questions we had. The cabin's location within the resort provided a peaceful and private getaway. The cabin itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The back porch was the perfect spot to relax after a long day. We'll definitely rent from them again in the future. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and your accommodating nature!

Lazy Bear Den turned out to be the perfect choice for our first visit to the Smokies! The location is perfect with both fast and easy access to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood while still being in a quiet and secure neighborhood. It was even 5+ degrees cooler up on the hill above town which was a nice summer bonus. The cabin was fully stocked and super clean. We used the hot tub a bit but all really loved the zero G massage chair after long days exploring the area. The hosts were great with fantastic communication. We booked directly to avoid AirBnB's extra fees. We didn't have a single issue, concern, or even small nitpick. It was literally perfect!

This place was amazing! It is up a hill, but not so steep that two wheel drive can’t make it. I saw a bear the second day! He was happy to go his way, paid no attention to me. The cabin is clean and comes with just about everything you need. Do bring your own hygiene products. Most prefer this anyways. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the cabin, so you’ll not be disturbing the rest of your party. The hot tub is wonderful after a long day and very secluded. There’s a ping pong table and a pool table. We play so many games! There’s board games, an arcade game and even a gaming system. Tons to keep young ones amused. The owner will answer any questions you have and is very easy to reach. I love that I could travel with my little 8 lb Yorkie. She also felt at home!! If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, this cabin is a perfect solution. You won’t be disappointed.

This was our 2nd year staying at Lazy Bear Den. We love the location and layout of the cabin. It's perfect for the 4 adults and 2 kids in our group. The owners, Kara and Jeff, take good care of their guests and really care about them having a great stay. We had car trouble the last night of our trip. Jeff was so generous helping us extend our stay so we could make sure our vehicle was safe for the long drive home.

We had a fantastic stay here! Jeff and Kara are amazing hosts, very thorough, organized, and accessible. The cabin is so clean and located in a great spot in Hidden Springs Resort. Our dog loved the spacious and quiet back deck. 5 stars plus for this rental!

Can't put into words how amazing this place is along with the owners! My family was in a super pinch situation where we found ourselves 6 hours away from home and had rented a different cabin that turned out to be a horrible situation. However these people here at the lazy bear den were EXTREMELY prompt and professional in getting us a place to stay last minute. The cabin is very clean and I can't praise the owners enough for the fabulous hospitality. Will absolutely recommend to any and everyone!

My family and I spent last week enjoying Lazy Bear Den and all the beauty of the area. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the back deck and the kids loved playing the arcade game. So fun! Jeff and Kara were great hosts. They gave us all the info we needed to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. We had some car issues morning of check out and they graciously accommodated our requested for an extra 30 minutes to get it taken care of so we could get on the road safely for our trip home. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. Everything was great. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We loved being able to bring our dog. Our son really enjoyed the massage chair. The ease of access to downtown was great. The resort was very quiet. I highly recommend staying in this cabin. Jeff and Kara are very kind and great to answer any questions very promptly. We will definitely be back again!
