"Situated right on the sand, Lazy Days invites guests to stay for a while and dine on dishes like shrimp panko-crusted and drenched in Key lime butter and garlic sauce alongside burgers, pastas, alligator bites, cracked conch, and other island standouts. The restaurant is located near Robbie’s, where guests can feed giant tarpon, and near Bud and Mary’s Marina, ground zero for sport-fishing charters, making it a solid spot to dine after nearby adventures. There is also a Lazy Days South location about 40 minutes down US1 in Marathon for those who are traveling from the Upper Keys to Key West, perhaps." - Allison Ramirez

4 stars across the board. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. We went there for dinner and there was no wait. We were seated facing the Atlantic Ocean, which is always breathtaking. I ordered the Lobster Palermo - fire on every level. I come to the keys 3 to 4 times a year, and this was my first visit here. I will be coming back to try the other offerings on the menu.

Always love, stopping here! When it’s super hot, it’s nice to sit inside where it’s cool and still see the water. But when it’s cooler, it’s nice to sit right on the water. They have quite a few cool photo ops too. Definitely go there there at off times otherwise you’ll have a hard time finding somewhere to park. Our servers have always been great and the food is amazing as well. There’s something for everyone and a lot of fun cocktails as well!

Great place on the water. Nice touch starting off with rolls and banana bread. The raw oysters were fabulous and fresh! We had the jumbo stuffed shrimp and beef teriyaki. Everything was great and our server was awesome.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. We sat within feet of the ocean, the waiter was very nice and the food was very good. Mozzarella sticks were $14, chicken wings $17, catch of the day sandwich (Mahi Mahi) $18 and grouper sandwich $25. All of our food was excellent and we will be returning. Highly recommended.

To start the restaurant has an amazing view and wonderful atmosphere. We both had the same sandwich Grouper for lunch, The fish tasted great, except the bread was literally a big pile of mush (soaking wet). Couldn’t pick it up and had to eat with fork and knife. The young girl waitress was very friendly and helpful, but totally forgot our appetizer. We never got it! We did try to go the night before and the parking lot was packed and ended up not going. Not sure how we feel about this restaurant. May have to give it another try. The fish was good and fresh.

This was a pretty great stop on our way to the keys. It has good reviews so we decided to check it out. We sat right on the beach seemed pretty clean service was good and the food was good. My dish was missing the shrimp but I never said anything it was OK without it a lobster pasta with scallops and shrimp

Lazy Days Restaurant in Islamorada offers a delightful oceanfront dining experience that’s become a favorite among both locals and tourists. The restaurant provides a variety of seating options, including an upstairs patio with ocean views, and indoor area. The menu is extensive, featuring fresh seafood, seafood pastas, vegetarian pastas, sandwiches, steaks, and chicken dishes. A standout recommendation is to try any dish prepared “Lazy Days style,” which adds a unique and flavorful twist. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring a satisfying meal. Service is consistently friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, the ambience can be a bit loud, which might not suit those seeking a quieter dining experience. The decor leans towards a more lived-in, rustic charm. One minor drawback is that some menu pages have background images, making them difficult to read under dim lighting; using a phone flashlight can help. Parking is ample, so finding a spot is typically hassle-free. Before or after your meal, take a stroll along the beachfront to enjoy the sight of pelicans soaring overhead. Expect to spend around $25 per person, excluding drinks and tip, which is reasonable given the quality and location. Overall, Lazy Days Restaurant offers a memorable dining experience with delicious food, friendly service, and stunning ocean views.

Excellent atmosphere, great friendly servers. Knowledgeable about the area as well as the menu items. Fish is very fresh. Everything we ordered was so flavorful. We will def return to taste other menu items. I loved sitting with my toes in the sand while eating. A very relaxing atmosphere.
