Google
What a cool place. I am glad that we just happened to find this place. Sandy was our server and she was great. You have to try the Hot honey feta dip. They have $15 fireside favorites that comes with a S'more brownie sundae. They have a great variety for everyone. Everything we got was delicious and hot. Will definitely return in the future.

Everything about Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is perfect. Delicious food, fast and friendly service. And, the atmosphere is great, love the rustic look. It is easy to carry on a conversation here unlike many resturants we have been to lately. Our server, was so nice to work with. Everything was delivered up quickly with a warm smile and a, "Can I get you anything else?". Be sure to check out their bunch special. Three in our party of four got the brunch special. I couldn't pass up the BBQ hamburger with spicy friends. Prices on the menu were very reasonable.

Probably the BEST dine-in experience I've had in a long time. The kitchen and restaurant were extremely clean, and the food is scratch-made—you can definitely taste the difference. Our server, Brielle, was bubbly, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Coming from out of town, it's not always easy to find great spots to eat, but this place was so good we came back the very next day for dinner. The little touches, like the decor, friendly staff and even the wet towelettes at the end of the meal, really made a difference. 20/10 stars. Highly recommend!

Google
Firstly, Sandra!!! Sandra is hands DOWN the best waitress that we were blessed with tonight. She made our night. 10 stars for her smile and incredible attitude. An amazing time tonight, she was an absolute pleasure. The food, oh the food. I never met anyone from the kitchen..... BUT y'all *chefs, cooks, staff, line cooks, servers* INCREDIBLE!!! the food was perfect, the flavor was on point, the food arrived hot and delicious. Loved the fries, perfect, crispy, golden spuds. The pot roast french dip🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 Black and Blue burger 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We were so full we didn't get to dessert but we will be back!!! Even before we left the restaurant we were telling friends and relatives THE place to get food in Georgia!! Thank you so much for making our night. We will be back real soon.

Google
First time here, I came because they were dog friendly. I wasn’t really impressed with the food. It was just okay nothing to rave about. I love how they have dog dishes. i did like the Apple bacon.

Google
Everyone liked their food though I probably won't order the salmon again. Fun atmosphere and dog friendly. Service was quick and our server tonight was wonderful.

Google
This is a deal Monday through friday. They have $15.00 specials which includes a Sunday desert. You know I had to get that cuz I am a big chocolate fan. It did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and we were seated right away with no wait. It was loud but you can still talk. That is key. We enjoyed our time there and look forward to trying all the different items on that menu.

Google
Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is always a great choice for a relaxed dining experience. The menu has so many tasty options, from delicious comfort food to fresh, flavorful dishes. I love their signature drinks and the cozy atmosphere – it’s perfect for a casual night out or even a family dinner. The service is friendly and attentive, and the portions are generous. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I have seen this restaurant many times but never stopped in. Just on a whim decided to go and was actually happy that I went. When we walked in we were greeted and seated right away. We had a nice waitress. I believe her name was Angie. She was attentive for the most part of our night. Food, I ordered a hamburger, the bbq ranch bacon burger, requested for it to be VERY well done. When it came to the table it looked great. As soon as I cut into it I could see so much pink that I was losing my appetite. Of course the waitress didn't cook it but she was very apologetic. The fries were room temp. I felt like maybe they had them sitting in the back under a light or something not the piping hot fries I was expecting. They did send it back to the kitchen to make another one. My husband was eating his food while we waited for them to re-cook my burger. That part was a little frustrating because of course we wanted to eat together. Nonetheless, the manager ended up coming out to the table to apologize and he actually ended up bringing back the newly made burger/fries. After that during the meal the manager did stop by to see if we were still ok. I appreciated the fact that even though they made a mistake they were quick to fix it and to check on the table to see if they could do anything else to make it right.Because of that simple action I will be dining there again. Once the meal was corrected it was delicious. I was nice and hot and really enjoyable. The place itself was clean and the bathrooms were clean as well. The atmosphere was inviting. There were many TVs around kinda like a sports bar but at the time we went it wasn't noisy at all. I heard you could bring your dog to eat with you outside, didn't see any pets but it's good to know they are a pet friendly restaurant. I feel it was a little pricey but yesterday's prices are not today's prices. As I said earlier I will be returning.

Yelp
I first tried a Lazy Dog location when I was visiting Los Angeles in California. I originally was turned on by this place based on the fact that dog's were welcome to sit with their owners as they dine on the patio. To date, all Lazy Dog locations, including this one in Alpharetta still hold that to be true. It's located close to North Point Mall. However, its immediate location is near a handful of other eateries that can get quite busy for brunch. The menu is quite vast, and has a food option for just about everyone. Appetizers, entrées, $10 to-go meal deals, desserts, as well as great drink options. On this visit, I opted to order their lettuce wraps, which were amazing. The presentation was lovely, and the chicken mixture had an amazing sauce blend.

Yelp
What a cool place. Very trendy with an upbeat vibe. Lots of TV's if you're into sports and a very spacious covered patio. A nice, well stocked bar and those comfortable cushy chairs around the big fireplace was so inviting. While perusing their very creative menu, I stopped as soon as my eyes landed on it. Look no further you just have to order the Korean Ribeye Bibimbap Bowl. Just loaded with deliciousness. Gochujang-marinated shaved ribeye, carrots and spinach to name a few. It was amazing and so much of it. Great service and tasty cocktails make this a very pleasant experience and one of my new favorites. For a chain establishment they do a great job of keeping it fresh and real.

Yelp
The food is always great here and our server Dawn was very helpful and helped us decide on food and made it an enjoyable experience for us and our kids.

Yelp
It was my 1st time at this location. I went in for a late dinner around 9PM and decided to sit at the bar since I was by myself. Let me tell you my server/bartender Kelly was amazing! I asked her for some good suggestions and she gave a great suggestion. I had the togarashi edamame beans as an appetizer and it was so good. I asked for an entrée suggestion and she suggested the fried chicken dinner and it was so delish. She comped my strawberry citrus drink because she said she made me wait. She was such a great server. I highly recommend everyone go see her. The ambiance of the restaurant was pretty cool. I'll definitely end up going back soon. If you ever sit at the bar and Kelly is there you will definitely get top notch service.

Yelp
I've enjoyed the variety of options offered here, the overall design of the space, and the customer service. I really liked their burgers, fish and chips, and seasonal options. They also bring four house-made sauces for the table to try and servers suggest different flavor combinations. My husband enjoyed the beer flight with a range of options to choose from. I have and will continue to come back to this restaurant to try more dishes.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. This was my first time eating here - been wanting to try this resturant out for quite some time. Came in for Alpharetta resturant week. I had the spicy nuggets, Meatloaf and butter cake. Portion size - alot. Food presentation- nicely plated. Food taste - delicious . My server Angie was outstanding. Kiddos to the front staff, servers and especially the cooks. I'll be back.

Yelp
In general this is not a bad place... however it has been hit or miss since I have been coming here. The menu is vast... selections from bowls, to salads, to steak, to burgers... a seriously huge menus with lots of selections. The venue its self is nice... has a huge bar quite a few TVs, lots of tables and booths... however the service is very spotty. Sometimes it is great sometimes it is not. In general the food that I have eaten here is generally good but not always. Again a lot of hit or miss. There are a few things that are very good here... the red pepper edamame is wonderful, the fried cheese curds are great, and they used to have a street corn fries that were out of this world! My boys and I come here about once a month and enjoy it. But anything more often would mean the risk of hit or miss would end in being miss... if you get what I mean.

Yelp
We loved everything we ordered for lunch today. Our server V was so helpful with suggestions as well! The restaurant is well decorated and kid friendly. We ate so much food we needed a nap after. Thank you V for your wonderful service!

Yelp
Food and Football! If you have never been to this place, you have to try it. Incredible menu, the patio is dog friendly and they have TV's for sports. The owner is from Jackson, Wyoming so the vibe is country/contemporary, with afireplace and high ceilings with alot of wood. Our bartender was Nicholas and helped us pick out our drinks, appetizer and entrees. He was very knowledgeable and kind.

Amanda E.

Yelp
Dawn was so amazing! Made incredible recommendations and was so sweet to our children and recommended gingerbread houses which were a blast! This is one of our favorite places!!

Yelp
I've been to this location a few times, but I have to say that I prefer the one by the perimeter mall. This one's OK if you need something quick before going to a concert at Ameris Bank amphitheater which is exactly what I did my last visit here. I was less than pleased with the beverage, the service, and the food. Our server checked in on us once. We needed her several times, but had to ask other servers because she was nowhere to be found. Finally, when she did arrive, we went ahead and asked for the check even though we hadn't eaten yet because we knew it would be a while before we would see her again and we were on a time schedule. The one cool thing that Lazy Dog does that I have used in the past, is the take home TV dinners. They're huge portions, fresh food, and taste delicious. They are perfect for somebody who needs something quick on a weeknight and doesn't have time to cook.

Ken P.

Yelp
Positives. The prices were reasonable and the outside area was great for the weather. Negatives. Wrong drinks brought out. Forgot our appetizers. Food was barely average. Waiter forgot our dessert came with the meal. Waiter then forgot to bring our dessert after asking for it. 15 minutes for a Togo dessert. Server was friendly, but not very good at his job today.

Colleen G.

Yelp
The bar service needs work. There were 5 people at the bar on a Wednesday night at a 7:30 arrival-a popular night in most restaurant bars!- My husband and I were mostly ignored after the first drink. We won't be going back.

Scott R.

Yelp
Generally, this place is pretty great. I've taken people here at least 3 times. Tonight however, the serving team and kitchen dropped the ball. We ordered our food and waited at least 45 minutes for it to arrive. The restaurant was not busy, it was ~ 5 on a Sunday evening. The waitress didn't check up on this until my friend made eye contact while she was working the bar. When the food arrived I could tell mine should have been warmer but I was so hungry I just dug in. Even after being served the waitress only checked once to offer more drinks. I'm pretty annoyed with all this and if this is a problem with new management, or whatever they've really dropped the ball. Not impressed. I'll have to take all this in consideration before I revisit Lazy Dog.

Yelp
The food and service are great. The crispy tuna rice are the best ones and the drinks are great!
google avatar

Keith G.

Yelp
I have been a very loyal customer for the past four years, dining at Lazy Dog three or four nights per week. Tonight will mark my last night eating at this location as this restaurant is now always ridiculously cold. I have complained about it repeatedly but the servers tell me that they have mentioned this to management many times but the managers won't do anything about the situation. This is not an atmosphere in which to enjoy a meal. I eat all of my meals outside of the home and I'm sure that I will find many other restaurants who are actually concerned about the comfort of their customers.
google avatar

Yelp
Consistent food and great place to meet friends and family when everyone has a different diet. As a plant based eater this is my go to place for their bowls with the tofu add on. Others have tried the other protein add on items and said they were great.

Yelp
5 star Review for SANDY. If you stop in... ask if she's working, & I bet you get GREAT customer service. I came in late night to pick up food, & I left my house right after ordering, so I knew I had time to grab a beer while waiting. I say at the bar for 10 minutes without a bartender anywhere in sight. There were 5-6 employees standing in the service aisle chatting it up, & only 1 server (Sandy) HUSTLING around the entire restaurant. Taking orders, checking on customers, & running drinks. After 10-15min with no greeting, I decided to skip the beer & then I stood by the host stand waiting to be checked on. Employees looked at me from the back, but none approached until Sandy came from across the restaurant to ask what I needed. She checked on my to-go order, kindly said it would be just a couple of minutes, & went back to helping tables & checking side work. A couple minutes passed with no one looking eager to bring me my order until yet again.... SANDY made eye contact with me, rushed to the back, & brought out my order. I made sure she knew how much I noticed her hard work. Lazy Dog has a great server in Sandy. This would have been a disappointed, low-star review, if not for her! Thanks again, Sandy!

Yelp
Met up with a friend, to catch up. The food was what one might come to expect from similar restaurants. A couple of signature dishes, but avg fare overall. Everybody was good, save for a little salt-heavy on my rice dish. But the experience was perfect, not too noisy & good staff. Though it did take us about 20 minutes to cash out our tkt. I'd recommend

Yelp
Okay - good news and bad news for this review. My husband and I came here for an early dinner on a Friday night. Service was great and our waitress was super attentive and helpful. Ambience was good, not too loud although not sure how it would be on a busy Saturday night. Food on the other hand, not so much. I ordered a burger with a cesar salad on the side. Burger was a little too salty but the salad was awesome - probably the best salad I've ever had. My husband got the ahi tuna and ended up with food poisoning. I'm not sure if it was the avocado (looked old), tuna or ginger but it did not agree with him and ended up sick for several days. Not saying to stay away from this location, but don't order the ahi tuna from here.

Yelp
I like this place, but if you're in a rush, I would not go here they take the time with your food. My drinks were made delicious. The food was really good. Everybody enjoyed their time here the wait was not long at all. The overall atmosphere in the vibe was good. There's lots to look at there's TVs everywhere. The fireplace behind us. Everybody was wearing a flannel shirt. lol loved it
google avatar

Yelp
Took a little while to get seated in the empty restaurant, but we did have a party of 8. Slow to get the original waitstaff greeting but overall Malik was fantastic. Very aggravated when the bartender kept throwing glass bottles in the trash from afar, loud and jolting, and that back door slamming was also annoying. The food was good, not quite what I remembered but overall good.

Yelp
02/08/2025 at 11:56am. Our very first time at this restaurant and my partner & I were excited cause it was a "dog friendly" restaurant. Food: Small portion but cost is high. Also, my Bison burger came out basically raw. I said medium. Medium means pink not gooey and raw. That's called rare. Service: Waitress was very kind and loved our dog. The host at the front though, not so friendly. He was an African-American gentleman that obviously do not like animals. Our dog was just sitting on the chair doing nothing but innocently just staring at people, where dogs were allowed out in the patio. Our server didn't say anything and brought our dog a bowl of water and sat it down at the table for us. But this same not so friendly guy host comes and says our dog is not allowed to sit on the chair. The chair is made out of a plastic like material, where it can easily be cleaned if needed. However, I understand restaurant policy so that's not the problem I had with him. He had an attitude the moment we arrived, and I also caught him being rude to his coworkers while I was on my way to the bathroom. Not sure what his deal is, but he didn't have a name tag and other servers didn't remember his name. I posted some photos of our cute dog at the restaurant on social media, and people are asking me how my experience was...I'm just ready to tell them I do NOT recommend.

Yelp
Portions are amazing! Food fresh and delicious! The fries are amazing! Service is great, courteous and attentive

Yelp
We booked the outside patio table for a wedding rehearsal dinner for 29 out of state visitors . The service and food was very good. We picked Lazy dog for the space and the variety of food. The wait staff was very attentive as well. To prepare for the event, I met with GM, Steve who was very helpful My guests loved the food. They kept the patio warm and closed off. Also, the bonfire in the middle was a nice touch that the guests loved . I highly recommend for large gatherings.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
We were in the mood for a burger and heard so much about Lazy Dog so why no!? As always I looked at all the details, from the ambience to the quality of food. Everything was enjoyable. We sat at the bar and ordered with the bartender (I forgot her name) who was very nice and knowledgeable. Brice, one of the food runners who brought us our dishes was very kind and professional. I saw several young servers and they seemed all to be working with a smile. That's great to watch. The Black Blue Burger and the Pot Roast Beef Sandwich were delicious and so were the regular and Cajun fries. We tried a very smooth but flavorful draft beer and could not say no to a dessert. The apply pie with 2 scoops of ice cream. One of the best I have ever had. Good job! I hope they keep up with quality and service. Will go back for sure to try the bowls. Yum!
google avatar

Ray I.

Yelp
Have always ordered take-away in the past so decided to come in...food was solid, and of course much better in house than delivery. Staff is very friendly and attentive - and a decent buzz up at the bar. Worth a stop if you haven't been yet.
google avatar

Briana S.

Yelp
A nice place for a dinner with friends or a date. It's very noisy here and really hard to hear when it's busy. Food was pretty good! I got the Pretzel Crusted Chicken Schnitzel, which is newer on their menu. I enjoyed it but it does dry your mouth out (the pretzel crust). My friend got the PB&J Burger and they swear by this! So if you're looking for something that's DIFFERENT try that. Another one of my friends got the BBQ bison meatloaf and it looked amazing. I would love to come back!
google avatar

Charles G.

Yelp
Well they (the Alpharetta location) never seem to have what they advertise. Two weeks ago it was deviled eggs today banana pudding. It's sad when you place an online order and a company doesn't even return the funds for 5-10 business days. I'll won't make the same mistake a 3rd time. #Learn from reviewers mistakes
google avatar

Haun K.

Yelp
We love this restaurant and this location more! We have come multiple times -- and have a lot of fun trying new starters. This time we tried the chicken quesadilla and it was great! It had different classic sides- sour creme, quac, salsa and a sweet sauce. The only critiques I have: LOUD music that reverb off the concrete floors + the host at the entrance was very slow in seating guests/not very engaged or interested.
google avatar

T. R.

Yelp
Our 1st time here, the waitress is so friendly and amazing services. All the foods we ordered were so yummy, you must try when you go there. Absolutely be back for more
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
First time we went was OK. Food is OK and service was lacking, as if our server was new. Also, minimal prebussing which drives me insane and is just lazy. Just tried again a few nights ago and we were seated as a party of five near the bar and no one acknowledged us or came over to greet us so after waiting for about 10 minutes, we left. Will not return.
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
I've been to different lazy dog locations and this one did not disappoint! For apps- the sweet potato tots and Cajun fries are a must. I didn't love the grainy queso or the Brussel sprouts which were too sour. For my main- I loveddd the Korean bowl, especially with a heavy drizzle of their soy sauce glaze. I heard the burgers that my friends ordered were decent and okay, as usual. For desserts we tried the s'mores brownie and the butter cake- the butter cake is my absolute favorite so you can never go wrong there. Fast service, good food, and a comfy environment!
google avatar

Cliff S.

Yelp
Neat place, the food and service was very good. My dog loved the patio, they were very nice to him
google avatar

Anna J.

Yelp
Alpharetta always struggles with places staying open later with good food and I couldn't be happier Lazy Dog opened up. We came here on a Friday evening around 10pm and were able to get seated. To drink, I got the mojito which was refreshing! There was a great selection of drinks and beers which was awesome!! For our entrees, we got a bunch of different things. Fish tacos, chicken quesadillas, chicken burrito bowl and chicken Mediterranean bowl. Overall, we tried a little bit of everything and it was all really good! To be honest you can't beat it considering how late it was. The restaurant itself is giant and I bet it's great when it's bustling in there. The food was tasty and the wait staff was really nice. I look forward to being able to come here again.
google avatar

Lorita A.

Yelp
Every time I'm in town, we always make it a point to swing by here and eat. The food is always good and fresh and the service is always 10/10. I live about an hour away and at my last visit, I forgot my wallet and Dana (the manager) made sure that I was able to get it back. She showed a sense of understanding and urgency and it was greatly appreciated. At my most recent visit Malik (spelling) was my waiter and was attentive and had great suggestions for food and overall contributed to the positive experiences we always have here. I will definitely continue to be a regular here. :)
google avatar

C B.

Yelp
I've dined here several times but have noticed that since opening the quality of the food and preparation continues to decline rapidly. $21.25 for this small heap of garbage.
google avatar

Heidi C.

Yelp
We arrived yesterday with a large party of 9. Our server was Jordan? Overall he did well except my order. I have severe eating restrictions with my disease ALS. We specifically ordered something and it came out wrong instead of him fixing it he blamed others. My party also mentioned that the fish and chips were mushy and you ran out of ipa. I raved about you going in and left hungry going out.
google avatar

Steve C.

Yelp
A welcomed addition to the Northpoint area. This is a California-based franchise with a wide variety of food and warm interior space (although the temperature inside the restaurant was very cold on the day we were there!). I had the fried chicken sandwich (decent, would have been great if the chicken wouldn't have been too dry) and a side of Umami fries (so good!). My wife had the bacon cheeseburger, which was cooked perfectly. and had tons of flavor. I tried a flight of their beer and they were all very good, but nothing noteworthy. They have a deal where they package, their dinners in TV trays, freeze them, and sell them as take home dinners. Buy five dinners at $10 each and get one free. We got six dinners and are looking forward to making them. Service was solid.

Scott B.

Yelp
Do not, I repeat do not sign up for their beer club. On the surface it's not a bad deal but I have been trying to cancel the club for over 6 months now. The "member satisfaction person" at this location has told me twice that he canceled it, the corporate office won't answer their phone and I've sent email after email and they keep billing me every quarter. I tried to get American Express to take it off my statement and Lazy Dog fought that as well. My next step is to have council help and that will cost even more than the payment. Just completely unnecessary to lose a customer over this. Reminds me of dishonest gym memberships quite honestly.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
This was a nice Sunday post church brunch experience. Although it wasn't perfect, this is a solid addition to the area. The Good: Service, ambiance, food, and value were all consistent and good. The menu was also modern and diverse. My sons Pancake tacos were the hit if the table. The Challenges: The chicken in the sweet and spicy chicken rice bowl I got was fried. I try not to eat fried food and it did not tell me that on the menu. I unfortunately was not thrilled with my meal, and would not order that again. It's pretty clear this restaurant is built to get food out quick which may affect the quality a little. The long and short of it is, we'll be back, but will ask more questions.
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
I come regularly for the Happy Hour, especially when I'm at work late, I can catch the second one. The brussel sprouts , cheese curds, and grilled cheeses are great. Other items are good too, I'll just remember this is a chain. Most days the service is reasonable, but there are days that it'll test your patience. The location has both indoor and outdoor seating, and the bar area is large.
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
The food was delicious. We started with cheese curds. They were light and not super breaded. I had the pot roast dip sandwich which was unlike anything I'd had before. It was very flavorful. My husband had a chicken bowl. We finished with a s'mores brownie to share which was also delicious ! The service was fast and friendly. The place is rather large and decorated nicely. I also liked that the kitchen was open so you can see some of the chefs at work. I would most definitely return here.

Murli S.

Yelp
This place was an exciting addition to the Northpoint area when it first opened. We've been there a few times after it opened and thoroughly loved it, especially with the dog-friendly patio. Things have gone south recently. Went there last night with the family and our dog. The service was lukewarm. The food was far worse. We had to send back two dishes because the Spanish rice was completely dried out; it was a big block on my plate. We thought that was the end of it, but it wasn't. My daughter told me the next morning that she had thrown up overnight. I'm extremely disappointed. As it stands now, the ambience still holds but the food is completely worth missing!

Yelp
Great food, especially the trout was delicious! Taylor was an excellent server Never been disappointed here

Yelp
Great food. Lots of choices. The restaurant is clean and has a cozy feeling to it. Fast service and a waiter staff that is attentive to your needs.

Yelp
We visited on a weekday afternoon with rain and business was light. Promptly greeted and seated but server Sean took a while. Not especially welcoming or personable. We ordered a beer and meals at the same time. Though the bar was right behind us the beer was not delivered until after the food and only after I reminded Sean to which we got an "oh shit" before he hollered to the bartender asking if he had the beer yet. Bison meatloaf was good and presented on a bed of greens, mashed potatoes, and plenty of gravy. Flavor was good but a bit sweet. My bride enjoyed the Falafel and Hummus bowl especially the black bean falafel. The menu was very interesting, the setting was beautiful, and it was great to have a sit down restaurant instead of all the fast food options. We will return and give it another try.

Henry R.

Yelp
First time dining here but certainly won't be the last. Looking foto my next visit to the Atlanta area.
