We ran across this spot by accident. It is a nice size place with a variety of seating options and plenty of room in the large bar. They are apparently known for their beer options and loyalty program and have a wide selection to choose from. (We don't drink beer) Josh was amazing and ensured we had a great first visit. The food was really good and there were good size portions. The home mad3 chips were delicious. The specialty drinks were quirky but very good. The manager came over to check on us after Josh took care of a small issue with something we ordered. She was delightful and made sure we were well taken care of. It was like chatting with an old friend. Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely go back.

Google
The food wasn't bad, and the ambiance was good, but the checkout process left a sour taste. When they brought over the payment terminal, it displayed the total amount with a prompt asking what percentage tip I'd like to add. Without thinking, I almost selected 20%, but it felt too expensive. When I looked into the detailed breakdown, I found that the tip and tax were already included in the displayed amount, and yet the screen was still asking if I wanted to add another tip on top of that. This kind of UI is designed in a way that could easily lead a customer to accidentally tip 40%. Even if it wasn't intentional, seeing a screen that could cause customers to make such a mistake makes me not want to go back there again.

We had the lovely server Nicole and she made our first experience here great! The food selection was really nice and the recommendations were wonderful. We will be back :).

Came here the other night for happy hour and appetizers and everything was great! We had a large & noisy group but the servers were wonderful and constantly checked in on us. The outdoor area is beautiful and has a large fire in the middle to keep the area warm. They seem to be very well staffed which was awesome to see. Will definitely be back! P.S. Both kid & dog friendly (outdoors)

We met our friend with her adorable pom and had lunch on the patio. Our server Josh was excellent, very attentive, and responded to every one of our requests. We had the cheese dip, hot chicken waffle salad, and the Cuban sandwich. For drinks, we had the strawberry lemonade, which tasted fresh and home made. Josh also provided a cold water jar for the table with glasses. There were many dogs but the vibe was very chill and quiet for a warm Saturday afternoon.

This was our first time at Lazy Dog. We tried the 3 small bite deal for $25. It was the fried deviled eggs, loaded potato hush puppies, and Cajun fries. We weren’t a fan of the deviled eggs but loved everything else. For first time customers they give you waffle chips with 4 different sauces. We weren’t a fan on those either so thankfully they were free. Service was great and the establishment was clean.

I have had it. I’m a loyal customer and have always had great experiences dining in at this restaurant - great food and service in person. But unfortunately, ordering through UberEats has been a completely different story. The quality of the food has gone downhill *consistently* over time. Most recently, I ordered the cauliflower ceviche and the tortilla chips were nearly burnt (see photo). But this isn't just a one-time thing. There's a clear pattern: * The **hush puppies** started off amazing, then began arriving overcooked or burnt. * The **goat cheese with pepper jelly** started out great but the more I ordered the less Parmesan crisps I got. In my last order, I received 4 small pieces of Parmesan crisps and the goat cheese was watery. * The **spicy tuna crispy rice**--started out great but the more I ordered, the more burnt (the rice part) it came. It's honestly baffling how this keeps happening. The food starts off great when I first try an item, but then the quality gets worse every time I reorder it. I don't know if they're just not prioritizing delivery orders, or if something else is going on but it's disappointing to see such inconsistency from a restaurant I otherwise really enjoy.

Google
First time at Lazy Dog and it was just ok. The Raspberry Rose Sangria was good!!! For starters I had the bacon candy and the pin tin nachos with carnitas. The bacon candy was amazing!! The nachos were served cold along with the pork on the nachos. The nachos would have been better if the nachos were warm or hot. For the main course I had the all-american burger with bacon. It's definitely not a $20 dollar worth burger. Again, the burger needs to be served warmer, it was on the cold side. The taste of the burger was just average. After eating the amazing bacon candy, the bacon on the burger was a huge letdown. It was pretty much raw bacon on the burger. Overall, Lazy Dog was just ok, I was expecting it to be way better.

Yelp
Excellent brunch at Lazy Dog! We came here with my parents and ate outside on the covered patio. The outside area is pup-friendly. The food was very good! The menu is extensive, and we were very pleased with our meal. I had a bowl that had fresh tuna and vegetables. My dad got a dish with chicken and waffles. Yum! They also had a great drink selection, which we did not get to check out fully this time. Hopefully we fine another time to come back.

Yelp
First time at a Lazy Dog and this hit the spot. We were hoping to sit at the bar but all the seats were full so we had a high top by the bar. There seemed to be a bit of confusion with the waitstaff who was taking care of us - 3 different people all came by to get our drink order and they didn't know the others had already asked. Apart from that my boyfriend and I each had a beer and then we got the blackened chicken bowl and the Mediterranean bowl. The med bowl needed something more - not enough sauce or a hummus or something. The blackened chicken bowl was perfect. This place was packed on a Saturday night so you may have to wait. I would come back here for sure.

Yelp
After my first 5K race, we decided to celebrate with a well-earned brunch at Lazy Dog--and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Lumberjack Tacos, and they were exactly as described on the menu--hearty, flavorful, and just what I needed after the run. To top it off, I treated myself to a Bloody Mary with candied bacon, which was the perfect mix of savory and a hint of sweetness. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot to unwind after pushing through the race. If you're looking for a solid Sunday brunch with great flavors and a laid-back vibe, Lazy Dog is definitely worth a visit at this specific location. Will be back!

Yelp
Bloody Marys are so good here. Love the pickled green beans. Happy hour items are yummy as well. I see why it's such a popular place. Seating is good since they are lots of booths and openness. Waiters have all been friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Searched online and reviews for restaurants near our hotel. This location was the only one open late. We were greeted and seated. Service was pretty good. Food was too. We started with chicken quesadillas. Then after, I had sesame seeds chicken and plain white rice, my husband had burger fries and the kids had Mac and cheese. Cocktails were on point. We were seated in a sizable booth that accommodated my family of four plus one guest. Lights are warm and comfy. Restrooms are clean and Parking is plenty.

Yelp
This spot is always packed, so I always recommend a reservation. We came for a reservation and had to wait a few minutes but were seated quickly after. The food is always amazing, but you'll find that it's a hard balance between the good food and drinks and the service, which is always *incredibly* slow. Several times we've come and we've been there for an hour before even getting our mains, 20-30 before seeing a server to order drinks. We expect this whenever we come, so we don't come often. Last time we had apologies from the server, this time no one seemed to care we had to pull random servers walking by for water and the check. The hush puppies and elote tots were fantastic. Birria noodles were very good, they didn't need the consommé though because it's salty and flavorful enough. My fiance loved his sandwich (the Cuban I think). I do recommend it for long dinners or if you're here to watch a game or two. But if you're in a rush or need to be in and out this isn't the place for you.

Yelp
Great vibes and great food- what more can you ask for? We stumbled upon Lazy Dog after a day at King Spa and liked it so much we came back for dinner the following week- this review is of both experiences. The best thing about Lazy Dog is their service- both times we went, we had the friendliest servers, and the entire team is SO nice. The manager was walking around the floor asking every table about their experiences and was so excited to hear that we were first time diners. We also received a free order of parmesan chips with our dinner as first time diners (which we loved). You truly feel like family coming here and it was such a nice experience. The food is just as good, and the menu is HUGE, so you're sure to find something you'll enjoy. You also receive four bottles of different house-made sauces on the table that you can add to your meals (I think they were BBQ sauce, hot sauce, mustard, and ketchup). Some of the standouts for us: - The breakfast burrito: this is MASSIVE. You will easily take home leftovers. It is jam packed and really delicious. - Chicken katsu sando: This is on the smaller side but very good, the chicken is light and crispy and the slaw was a nice fresh component. It comes with a small portion of fries which we also enjoyed. - Breakfast tacos: These are so fun- it's bacon, eggs, hash browns, and cheese wrapped up in a pancake. They were able to sub scrambled eggs for fried eggs which I appreciated. The bacon was so good I would order that on its own next time! There were a couple items that weren't our favorites. The breakfast club is not really a club- it's a small one-layer sandwich that came on a biscuit. It wasn't bad, but wasn't what we were expecting. The fried deviled eggs sounded so good but were just okay. However, there is so much on the menu that I'm not surprised there are a couple of duds- everything else is really good! There is a dog-friendly patio with a firepit- we ate outside both times and loved it. There is also a Campfire Club you can join for $5 a month and receive a free starter, dessert, or TV Dinner (large frozen dinners of their food that you can take home). If you're planning on coming at least once a month, it's probably worth joining.

Yelp
Great ambiance! Love that it is pet friendly with a covered patio. They are also set up for all seasons (fire pits/fan). Menu has great options to choose from. We started with cheese curds and firecracker shrimp that were both very tasty but a little overcooked on the shrimp. Shrimp was a little crispy but not all. So not sure if it's meant to be overdone or underdone. Presentation was nice. For the main course, we got the Cuban sandwich with sweet potato bites. The Cuban was good but not something we would have again. The sweet potato bites were really yummy. Also, got the fish tacos. The presentation was nice, but lacked flavor and the batter came apart, along with the taco. The fish was one whole piece instead of a few pieces making it more difficult to eat. Wait time between appetizer and entree was extremely slow for a Tuesday night with barely anyone at the restaurant. We waited about at least 30 mins if not more between the appetizer and entre. For the pups, we got a beef bowl with rice and carrots/peas. The pups enjoyed the beef but was not interested in eating the rice and vegetables. Would return to try something different with hopes to have a shorter wait time and tastier food. The ambiance was great though. We really enjoyed that and that we could have the pups.

Yelp
Tried Lazy Dog again. Ambiance was much louder than I remembered. Great for a group get together, but hard to hear. My Cuban sandwich was very good but a little greasy. My friend's fried chicken sandwich was a little undercooked. Service was very attentive and friendly. Overall, a great place for drinks and bar food but the menu just doesn't click with me personally.

Yelp
Another awesome visit. Just wanted to rave in Erin today for taking care of us with bonus gift cards :) and to say how wonderful the shrimp yakisoba is!!

Yelp
First time at a Lazy Dog, but I've heard so much about them. The menu is huge, with different type of cuisines; modern American, Asian, and much more. I ordered Thai noodles, but was served a Thai salad, so I ended up with both! Both dishes were very good; huge servings, very flavorful and beautifully presented. Service was excellent, and the ambience business casual. I would recommend it.

Yelp
I have been to lazy dog a few times. I took my daughters to lunch and it was packed on a Sunday. The kids menu items were ok, but that is typical. The French fries were great. I ordered an aperol spritz off the cocktail menu and it was really watery. The real winner was the Tex Mex salad. The waiter recommended grilled chicken rather than cold pulled chicken and that was a great recommendation! It was delicious. I highly recommend trying this salad that way.

Yelp
The Food: I went with the 12 oz. New York Steak. Asked for it medium rare, but unfortunately came out a little over medium. My sides were decent, but my green beans and roasted veggies were very underwhelming. The potato au gratin was pretty nice though. Our group had ordered some sides as well, and honestly those were better than my steak. The Firecracker Shrimp and Crispy Wings were pretty good. The Service: Service was good. Our host/waitress were very nice and friendly. Staff were attentive as well. The Atmosphere: The atmosphere was nice here. The place spacious and clean. It was very lively during lunch and wasn't too loud. They also have a outdoor area, which is covered and has plenty of space heaters around so you don't get cold. Overall, a 3/5. Just an average meal that wasn't up to par with what I asked for. Maybe next time will be better, but I don't really see myself coming back to this restaurant.

Yelp
Back again. The lightning jack lager was delightful. Actually bought a four pack. Split the black n blue burgers with my daughter. So good. They bring it on two plates all with fries and such. Some places charge for a plate... We covered it! Sara was on her game. From start to finish, had all things considered and done. Something about a 5 star rating. Well, Sara get stars! Great place for relaxing. Nice sized bar. Kind of an all American look. And Sara got that next light jack lager with a mere glance! So good! Just popped in on a Saturday afternoon. Seating promptly! How wonderful. Love this place!

Yelp
Outstanding Food & Exceptional Service at Lazy Dog We were welcomed with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The service was impeccable, thanks to Oscar, who was not only cordial and efficient but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His attentiveness and professionalism truly elevated our dining experience. We also had the pleasure of speaking with Erin, the wait staff manager, who shared the fascinating story behind Lazy Dog and its 52 locations. Her enthusiasm for the restaurant's culture and the owner's leadership style was inspiring--it's clear that this is a fantastic place to work and dine. As for the food? Absolutely delicious and large portions! Leftovers for tomorrow's lunch!! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Wife and I were in the area, we were at the Air and Space Museum at Dulles and after walking over 2 miles we needed some food. Wife ordered the chicken bowl but had the hot (spicy) item put on the side, I had the hot chicken salad with waffles. Wife's meal was good my meal was good the only issue is the waffles they are deep fried so they have a lot of grease in them. I told my waitress and she brought me 2 more they weee better but still lots of grease. Can't wait to be in the area again to come back.

Yelp
I have to update my review for this location! Clearly the So I came in on a busy Monday evening - typical after work/happy hour rush. I just got off a flight from the airport and thought about stopping here for to-go on the way home. I placed a mobile order to be ready by 5:30 pm, but unfortunately, I had to stop by work to grab a few items. I got to the restaurant around 6:15, thinking that my food would be ready. No. The to-go server that tells me my food has been "given away by accident, but don't worry, you won't be charged extra." Now im sure he wasn't thinking straight since I had already paid for the meal. So I asked him to ask the manager to discount my meal by giving me the appetizer for free for my troubles. Of course, with a hungry toddler and a long plane ride, it would have me furious, but life happens. The manager, Craig or Greg, even came to me and said that he apologized for the mishap and would only charge me one entree instead of the two and appetizer. I was surprised and pleased by the customer service. I waited a few days and realized that I was still charged full price. Here I was thinking that the service was great only to find out he made no changes. Talk about selling dreams.

Yelp
We came here for the first time this past weekend with our dog for lunch. It is great that you can bring your dog here as long as you are seated outside. It is covered and shaded and quite comfortable. The food was okay. The fish sticks in my fish tacos looked like frozen products. It had shredded carrots on top which I didn't enjoy. My wife's grilled cheese had one side all burnt. Good ambience, ample parking and dog friendly place but not for great food.

Yelp
From the time I walked in I was greeted right away which is a plus . We got sat next to a party of 20 people that were enjoying happy hour , couldn't hear a word my wife was a saying . We started off with the fire cracker shrimp presentation was great taste wasn't there the shrimp wasn't crispy it was soggy . Ordered pad Thai and grilled fish ehhh wasn't feeling the food the only thing i liked a lot was the 5 different sauces that they put on the table . Our server was helping the party so didn't get much attention from her also . Dnt think I'll ever go back

Yelp
Came by for Friday night dinner. Restaurant was very busy (and loud) but thankfully there wasn't a wait. We ordered the bison burger and black & blue burger. Both tasted really good but the meat was a little more rare than we ordered. The sides: coleslaw and onion rings were also super tasty! I wish the burger entree came with a larger side portion. The IPA sampler was good but they didn't label any of the beers so I didn't know what I was drinking lol

Yelp
First visit to a Lazy Dog location - happened by on a Saturday around dinner time. Place was hoppin' but we were able to be seated immediately. We started with drinks and an app - the Crispy Deviled Eggs ..dee-lish! Atmosphere was raucous but not overwhelming - everyone seemed to be having a good time. Our waiter was friendly and checked back with us often. All of our food & drinks came out in a timely fashion - entrees were awesome (I had the Grilled Salmon). All in all we had a great experience & would definitely return - highly recommended!

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience at Lazy dog with Karina and Erin! We were seated right away in Karina's section and she was very quick to get our drink and appetizer order! It came quick and was delicious! Our nachos were outstanding!! Our entire visit we were helped and waited on. I felt like a famous person being served! That's what I love about lazy dog, they always make you feel like you are special and important! I will come back again and ask for Karina and definitely hope to see Erin again soon! Thank you Erin for not only managing but leading your staff by example! You are amazing! We hope to see you soon!

Yelp
We were seated right away. The waiter came over and asked if we would like to order drink and I asked what kinds of iced teas they had. He said you mean like flavors. I said yes then her told me strawberry, peach, raspberry and mango. I ordered peach. We placed our order. My tortilla soup came out with my 1/8 of avocado that was added for almost $3 bucks, seriously overpriced. The soups was average. The Thai Chicken salad was really flavorful the vinaigrette is slightly spicy and gave a nice punch of flavor. The Cuban tastes good but in terms of size was severely underwhelming. I am used to them being stacked with meat. The burger were good sized and really good. The PB and J was sweet but yummy. The bison burger had hints of bacon in. When my tea got refilled the waiter just gave regular tea then brought some peach puree so I could add it myself. Paying $4.15 for a tea one would think they could do the mixing. The restaurant was a bit chilly they did have portable heaters out to help take the chill out of the air. The hostess was awesome so friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
Nice place for upscale from scratch bar food. Service stared out slow, but our Server Sam was amazing and redeemed it. All of his recommendations were spot on. Now for what we had: Let me start by saying we are from Tampa home of the cuban sandwich so we were hesitant to try their version....well let me tell you it was delicious. Now don't get me wrong I prefer mine on Cuban bread but wow this definitely was a winner on the sourdough. Highly recommend! My son-in-law had the Thai Salad which he said was really good too. All in all it was good food and a good experience. If you can ask for Sam - he was absolutely a 10 out of 10!!

Yelp
It has been a year ago since my last review for here, but have visited here probably 4 more times since then. Love the variety of menu choices. Maybe one day I will have chosen/tried each item :). Last 2 times included the fish and chips (I opted for an onion rings for my "chips"), and more recently tried their fried h chicken platter. Their two new apps--shrimp and tuna with sticky rice were super delicious! Both were super good. The server was really on top of things and great overall. The last visit was a large group one (15?) where there were more than RSVPed and they accommodated us fabulously! The food is a bit pricey, but not super bad.. I guess you get what you pay for. I feel it's worth it.

Yelp
Lazy Dog is a nice casual restaurant chain. This location is spacious with a lot of seating both indoors and outdoors. The service is quick and the staff is very kind! They use electronic tablets when taking your order, so when it's time to ask for a check they'll give you one of those handheld things for your card right there. Foodwise, it's solid American food. The portions are large and you'll have enough for leftovers. What's nice is the menu has lunch portions (before 4pm), which are smaller and cheaper, as well as a brunch menu available for the weekends. As an appetizer, we got the cajun fries, which were pretty crispy and more sour than expected. I think they were loaded with lemon pepper seasoning or something similar. I got the lunch portion of the fish and chips, which was filling and tasted good! The fish and fries were crispy and piping hot. The coleslaw wasn't for me, it was a bit too sweet and the tartar sauce was good! I would definitely recommend coming here for a casual meal with friends and family!

Yelp
OMG! This place is delicious! I love breweries/beer restaurants but wasn't craving beers after a tough week, so I was kind of worried that it would be the typical 'pretzel' and 'cheesesteak' but this was SO MUCH better! So many delicious to pick from. I chose the Katsu bowl, which brought me back to our years of living in Hawaii and it was perfect! My husband and son loved the food equally. We are definitely getting back. Service was great and outdoor seating was perfect for a Summer evening. There is also an outdoor fire, which looks like a great option for Winter/Fall! 100% going back!

Yelp
Sadly this is my second time here and my second disappointment. The first time I got a rare burger with Cajun fries and it came out well done I sent it back. Came back without the Cajun fries and when I asked about it and the fries finally came they were regular fries which I just dealt with and was still charged the up charge for the Cajun fries. Last night I went and the service was fine but we ordered the BBQ ranch bacon burger with no cheese, first time a grilled cheese came out and we sent it back. Second time it came out with cheese, and finally after about an hour we got the burger ended up getting it to go and they gave us a dessert for the trouble. However when our server came up to us she said the burger and the dessert were taken off but we were still charged for the burger, again after a long back and forth I didn't feel like waiting around for them to come back so I paid and left. Don't think I'll be coming back here, quite disappointing because I enjoyed the industrial rustic ambiance and drinks.

Yelp
Got stuck in Dulles Washington due to the tropical storm and it led me to this gem. Lazy dog was refreshing from begin to end my server Rachel was very pleasant, friendly, and so polite, love her service. I enjoyed the 3 refreshing flavors of the sangria sampler mango white peach, pomegranate, and raspberry. So so good. The fried deviled eggs also well seasoned the candied bacon has a nice kick definitely a great starter. The firecracker shrimp was also very good the honey buffalo sauce was a great mix and the batter the shrimp was friend in was also tasty. Very big in size the ambiance also has outdoor seating, big screens if you want to enjoy sports. I highly recommend and will be back.

Yelp
Lazy Dog was a great casual place to have lunch.  The space is surprisingly large with lots of room and tables and a bar.  Although it is full, the service was great - attentive and super friendly.  The booths are large which is always really nice when you have a group and everyone has a coat and/or a bag.  I had the Thai salad which had a surprising and pleasant zing to the dressing.  There was crunch and the serving was a good size.   The décor is a bit eclectic with a dose of humor.  The signs for the men's and lady's rooms were a chuckle.  There is plenty of parking in the lot.

Yelp
My husband and I went to the Lazy Dog restaurant for dinner. They have a nice outdoor patio with a huge firepit in the middle. The patio is surrounded by beautiful rocks and flowers. It was a nice evening, so we decided to dine outdoor. This place is dog friendly; we saw three dogs there. They were all well-behaved and adorable. Since this was our first time coming here, the manager came by and welcomed us, and gave us complimentary garlic chips. Their menu is extensive. For appetizer, we had spicy tuna crispy rice. It was good. We ordered campfire pot roast and a Mediterranean chicken bowl. My husband enjoyed his Mediterranean chicken bowl. It was light and tasty. My campfire pot roast was yummy. Both the chicken and the beef were tender. Our waitress, Julie was friendly. She took great care of us. We will definitely come here again with our children.

Yelp
I love coming here for dinner and getting their bbq veggie burger! This place does veggie burgers so well and I crave it monthly. Service is always on point, shout out to Shelby for recommending great drinks, starters, and desserts too!

Yelp
We had a great experience here! the ambiance is warm and welcoming, and I love that they have an abundance of both dining room and patio seating. This was our first time here, and when our server, Wes, found that out, he welcomed us very genuinely, and with the help of his manager, they gave us the most delicious donut holes! It was a very nice touch that the manager brought the donuts out himself and introduced himself as well as told us to let him know if we had any concerns or needed help. Everything here was so good - we had the firecracker shrimp to start, and it was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. I went with the lumberjack pancake tacos (the bacon candy is INCREDIBLE), and my wife had the breakfast burger. The hashbrowns are to die for; they are amazingly thick yet crispy. I love that they bring you their house sauces - all four were good, but the hot sauce was the standout, in my opinion. They have an expansive drink menu with plenty to choose from both alcoholic and not; highly recommend the cucumber lemon refresher if you want something fun but nonalcoholic. I also appreciated that they supply you with your own water carafe and glasses because I'm that person who constantly is drinking water, and it eliminates the waiting period. Our server, Wes, was the perfect combination of friendly and attentive without making us feel pressured for wanting to take our time with the menu. Overall, we highly enjoyed our brunch here and have already talked about bringing friends here to experience the dinner menu!

Yelp
If you're a fan of wings, Lazy Dog is a must-visit, and their lime buffalo wings are hands down the star of the menu. These wings are an absolute flavor explosion, perfectly balancing the tangy zest of lime with the kick of buffalo sauce. Honestly, they might just be the best wings I've ever had. The wings are always cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and tender, juicy meat inside. Each bite is a delicious blend of spicy and tangy flavors that keep you coming back for more. It's no wonder these wings are a crowd favorite. Beyond the wings, Lazy Dog offers a comfortable and relaxed dining experience with a great selection of dishes and friendly service. But seriously, don't leave without trying the lime buffalo wings--you won't regret it.

Yelp
Let me just say the PB&J burger stole the show! It was juicy and delectable. I loved every component and they went well together. Who would ever knew that Pb&J paired with a burger could insight a riot in my mouth. The honey bear drink was also amazing! I didn't taste the tacos because I was obsessed with the burger. I definitely recommend this establishment! They left an everlasting impression!

Yelp
Second choice place but first choice from now on. The staff is incredible with politeness and professionalism. The atmosphere is open with TVs and music but not overwhelming noise, enough to drown out the other chatter. Now the food...amazingly incredible. They have low carb options that don't taste like the cardboard box they came out of. The grilled chicken with cauliflower mash was out of this world. The lunch portion chicken parm with the option of zucchini and spaghetti squash was large enough for lunch and probably a side at dinner or even dinner. Overall, definitely returning and telling others. If in the Chantilly area...meaning within 45-60 minutes away...take the drive, you will definitely be satisfied and glad you did the drive. Also, close to IAD, grab food before a flight would be a great idea.

Yelp
Great experience! I had the blackened chicken rice bowl and a pineapple mojito. Both were delicious!

Yelp
Stopped at Lazy Dog for a few small bites and drinks and thought it was a good experience overall. I got a cadillac margarita, which was perfectly made! For food I got the chicken tortilla soup and the cheddar bacon biscuits. The soup was pretty good and a good size for the price. I thought the biscuits were just ok, a little lacking in flavor. I got the pumpkin cheesecake to go, and that was probably my favorite thing! Service from the bartenders was great! They were pretty busy, but made our drinks quickly and came by often to check in. The menu is huge, so I'll definitely be back for more when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Bar fried food heavy breading but little taste. Salad was bland despite several ingredients and was not appealing when it came. Menu had many items but lacked in options for seafood, even fried shrimp would have been good but was not on the menu. Chicken on my salad I had was flavorless it was advertised as southern fried chicken salad-it was not Southern or anything-it was heavily breaded, dry and bland, meh! This place was surprisingly packed when I came here for the first time on Friday, April 26. So it was a let down when the food was mediocre. A colleague invited me here, yes, inside was nice with ample booths and high tops seating. Nice friendly staff but prob overwhelmed for ratio heavier on patrons to server during my visit. Probably a one off for me.

Yelp
Came here for my pup's 3rd birthday. We came here because they have a dog menu. Not a lot to choose from but that's ok. I mentioned to the server and another wait staff that today is my dog's birthday. No one acknowledge his special day. Oh well. At least the waiter brought him some ice cold water. The peach sangria was good.

Yelp
I came upon this place back in February when I attended an RV Show. I neglected to write a Yelp Review for Lazy Dog. This place has real trees as decor. I love the metal horse head artwork. The cashiers took a while to take our order but once they did our food came pretty fast. I had the fish and chips platter. It was absolutely divine! Crispy, light, properly cooked fish and the chips (French Fries) were golden brown, also freshly cooked, and tasty without ketchup. My husband purchased the beer the last time we were here and he liked it. His exact words were, "Is different. It tastes like beer but it has its own distinct taste and flavor." He enjoyed the beer. All in all, this place is a 5 star establishment.

Yelp
Been to Lazy Dog at several locations for happy hour. One item I tend to go with is the PBJ burger which isn't on happy hour, but is the best thing they make! They split it for us and it came out hot. Food met our expectations. Was disappointed in the watermelon margarita but enjoyed the Old Fashioned. Just missing my dog enjoying dinner with us.

Yelp
What an awesome little spot. I think I too often discount / disrespect the "chain restaurant" vibe and forget that the reason they are even able to open multiple locations is due to their success. Well, this place has all of the reasons to stick around and be successful. The whole entire vibe is top notch and the service was spectacular. But aside from those simple things, the food was amazing. I have no idea what exactly they're going for in the menu full of dishes from all over the world but they nailed all of the ones we ordered and we found ourselves struggling to get up from the table we were so stuffed!

Yelp
I'm going to start off with service because when something feels amiss right off the bat, you immediately lower your expectations for the rest of the meal. I had reservations on a Monday for a party of 8. I also made it known it was 7 adults and 1 child. I made it a week in advance with no problems and came to the day, I was met with an ill-prepared front house team. We arrived promptly at 6 with much of the restaurant empty because again, it's a Monday. The host asked high top or low top and we said high top and were about to be seated when the hostess stopped midway as if contemplating the seating arrangement. There were more than enough tables with the booth seats. She literally stood there for 5 minutes and at one point, I told her even low tables are fine. Anywhere. Just give us a table. She has to converse with another hostess and then the manager came and I even told the manager, doesn't matter where we sit. Finally, they decided to give us the low tables and set our party aside while handful of customers behind us got seated. The hostess who has to arrange the tables worked at a snails pace in moving tables and setting down the rolled napkins and menus. The place setting should not have taken as long as she did. She also did not include a kids menu or a plate for the child. I was greatly disappointed in the level of service at lazy dog as it seems the front end lives us to the restaurant name. As a person who made proper notice well ahead of time, the restaurant front house lacks the service in preparing for such a party and doesn't take notice to the small details. Our food was met with lackluster response. The menu listing at lazy dog is substantial, comparable to the extensive list at cheesecake factory, but at least cheesecake factory excels in the flavor of many of their meals. Everything here just didn't have a wow factor. The deviled eggs were bland. The sauce for the ahi tuna bowl was nothing outstanding. It would've faired better if the tuna wasn't seared on the outside and left raw. The chili crunch lacked punch. It was all a bit dull and one-noted. But where the front house and food was missing a key element, the wait staff were wonderful, kind, and attentive. They responded quickly to questions and recommendations. They got the plate quickly that was missing for my daughter. Overall, while not the worst, it is definitely not the best and not good enough to return to again mainly due to how much the front house left such a sour taste in my mouth.

Yelp
First time there last night! Great menu, all 4 of us throughly enjoyed our meals! The Old Fashioned was one of the best I've had! Our server Heather was excellent, extremely knowledgeable about the restaurant, food and their beer club which was not a hard sell as my husband asked about it! She's so friendly and checked in on us several times and even brought over a birthday card signed by the staff for my husband!! We will definitely go back and hopefully Heather will be available!

Yelp
Went here with my friend, got the vegetarian BBQ burger and it was so good that I had to come back within the week and get another one. Also had the umami fries- DELICIOUS. All of the staff was super friendly and we got to talking about good shoes to buy on Amazon LOL. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Yelp
I've been aware of this restaurant since 2012 when I've worked out Dunn Loring and never really payed it any attention but agreed to try it and will tell you it is one of those sleepers that will catch h u off guard with the vast menu options. It is one of the best menus I've seen due to the variety of meals they offer. It would out you in the mains of like a Cheesecake Factory or Maggie mcflys where they have an option for everyone in the group. Before we get into the food though my waiter was top tier! I've eaten at many restaurant and all over the country and when I say this man's knowledge of the menu, personal touch of how he puts a twist on certain foods and the way he was prompt friendly and helpful was second to none! He catered to the table with impeccable reliability and some waiters struggle with the balance of when to be at the the table and when not to be and he had it mastered. It's like he just knew when it was his time. That man need to be recognized as the food was great but I would skip the location that's closer to my home to just come to this location to see David! You are the man David! The restaurant itself was very chill and I loved the amount of wood used I the architecture and it definitely made the bottles at the bar pop. The food was definitely amazing as everything was made with love! From the deep fried deviled eggs to huckleberry compote on the pancakes nothing was leftover from any dish! Thanks Lazy Dog!!!! SEE YA REAL SOON!
