California Chain Lazy Dog Has Another Dog-Friendly Houston Location in the Works | Eater Houston

"A California lodge-themed restaurant chain is opening a new Stafford spot inside The Grid, a $500 million mixed-use development, with a planned July opening and hiring of about 200 teammates beginning in May. The new location is expected to mirror its massive Cypress outpost, featuring a dog-friendly patio and a dedicated pup menu, and serving lunch, brunch, and dinner from an extensive menu that ranges from lamb barbacoa tacos to shrimp and grits." - Adele Chapin

First off, not a hot dog in sight. Not sure the story behind the name or why this restaurant is considered American food but the unique plate options will definitely have me coming back for more. Great, relaxing, cabin style atmosphere. The staff was super nice and accommodating. We placed an order not realizing it contained an alergen we couldn't eat and they quickly made it right. Thank you to the manager as well for treating us to a free appetizer and a desert coupon for being first time guest. We stopped by just to try something different, but when words gets around I believe clients will be returning for something new and delicious. If there was an award for best new concept or eatery this place would get top honors in my opinion. Looking forward to the next visit. Tip:Get the warm buttercake dessert, thank me later.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable dining experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the atmosphere — warm, welcoming, and with exceptional customer service. Here’s what my wife and I ordered: 🥩 NY Steak (medium rare) — Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was a delight. 🍜 Braised Beef Birria Noodles — A surprising and delicious fusion. The combination of birria and noodles with the rich consommé and cheese creates an incredibly flavorful dish. 🍰 Butter Cake — Simply heavenly! The strawberry sauce, vanilla ice cream, and hint of mint elevate this dessert to another level. A perfect way to end the meal. A special shoutout to our server Makeyla, who was kind, attentive, and clear when walking us through the menu. Also, Chef Luis came to our table to check on our food and recommended the dessert — a rare and wonderful touch! We’ll definitely be coming back. Places like this are hard to find.

Our server was bar none the best! Ferdinand, was engaging, fun and knowledge. We had everything from birthday, to pregnant dog, per surgery and gluten free all at one table and he handled everything like a pro. We all had such a fantastic time we are already planning our return visit! Oh my goodness I forgot, the food was fantastic, too. The dog menu is such a nice touch to the already good food. What a fun welcoming place.

Google
Excellent “fast casual” restaurant with a wide variety on the menu. Excellent service. I tried the bacon grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup for lunch and it didn’t disappoint. The soup was creamy & tasty. The sandwich, hot, crispy and delicious.

Lazy Dog Restaurant is one of my favorite spots to grab a meal with friends or family. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with that perfect rustic vibe, and the staff always make you feel right at home. Whether you're there for brunch, lunch, or dinner, the menu has a little something for everyone. I ordered the BBQ bison meatloaf this time, and it was absolutely delicious—flavorful, tender, and beautifully plated. My friend had the crispy deviled eggs and Korean-style ribs, and I couldn’t help stealing a few bites. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. Their seasonal menu is always fun to explore too! The drinks were on point—I had one of their house-made sangrias and it was super refreshing. We even brought our pup along to sit on the patio, and they had a dog-friendly menu, which is such a sweet touch! Service was fast and friendly without feeling rushed, and the entire place was clean and well-kept. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good food, and just vibe. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, chill ambiance, and awesome service. Lazy Dog always delivers!

Google
The service was superb. I was sat down quickly. Received a complimentary appetizer. Everyone was nice and kind. Burger was grilled to perfection. The onion rings had the perfect amount of crisp. The chips were a tad salty but that’s probably person preference. Was visiting from fl.

Google
We had the best server and the food was fantastic. I’m sad I didn’t catch his name, but his attention to detail and warm smile throughout the evening made our visit truly special. It was my first time here—I came to meet my brother and his dogs—and even the dogs enjoyed a great meal. We had such a lovely experience and will definitely be back!

Google
I wasn’t sure what to expect and some of us were expecting a lot of hot dogs — well, we were pleasantly surprised with our experience and with the food. The restaurant is quite big with a bar area full of high top tables, TVs and a full bar. There’s family-style seating in large U tables and plenty of 4-seat tables. Our waiter was polite and checked on us often, refilling our drinks and offering to bring extras. We tried the fish tacos, the fried chicken dinner and the banana pudding. All were amazingly fresh and perfectly seasoned. The banana pudding was whispy and melted in your mouth, not overly sweet. A little joy in a bowl. Overall, we had a great experience, the food was amazing, the service was 10/10 and we highly recommend!

Yelp
It was an incredible experience, and Mr. Russel truly made it unforgettable. He was absolutely the best--so kind and generous, even gifting me some raw honey! The restaurant was amazing with Mr. Russel in my presence. .

Yelp
We had the pleasure of being served by Andrew, who was amazing!! He was very attentive and friendly while addressing and meeting our needs. Thank you, Andrew, for your professionalism and hospitality.

Yelp
Thank you Andrew for being a courteous server! The chicken fried bison entree with spinach side and smashed red potato was perfectly made! My wife had the fried chicken dinner, great flavor. As new customers, we were welcomed with a complementary appetizer garlic parmesan potato slices! Everything was well seasoned and not overly salted.

Yelp
3.5 stars - pricey for what it is, but we like the dog friendly patio and service was great. j got a Cuban sandwich and he liked it, and the lime-y spiced fries were right up his alley (but I thought they were too tangy) I got the harvest salad with added salmon- the salad was good but the salmon was a little bit dry and slightly overcooked. The kids got Mac n cheese with a side of fruit, and they loved the Mac n Cheese-- it looked like it was straight from the Kraft box- however, the kids liked it. The side of fruit was a large slice of watermelon, which was very tasty. Beer was a little expensive at $8 Overall it's a pretty good place but at this price point, we probably won't be back unless we have a coupon.

Yelp
Plenty of parking outside. Happy hour from 3 to 6 at the bar or on the patio. Fun atmosphere, friendly staff. If you tell them it's your first visit then you get a pre chosen appetizer, we got the garlic parmesan chips, they were so delish. We ordered the happy hour burger which my bf said was really good. We also ordered the chicken lettuce wraps also delish. For drinks we ordered a watermelon margarita and a beer, everything ended up being 30 including tip. Well definitely return and try other things like the deviled eggs and Brussel sprouts.

Yelp
The cutest patio, that is dog friendly! We enjoyed that it had fans and was clean. The inside of the restaurant itself is very family & group friendly. The food was great! We received complimentary kettle Parmesan chips as our first time visit gift. So kind & gummy! We got the crispy deviled eggs. The bacon & yolk mix makes up but crisp egg itself was not our favorite taste. Very plasticity feel. Our PB&J & Black & Bleu burgers were excellent! Our waitress was good & on our drinks but when we asked for a to-go box & drinks she popped off with an attitude and walked off with an attitude. Had she done that when we first sat down, she would've absolutely not gotten the tip we gave nor would our experience been so well. The food was great overall! Highly recommend if you want a burger.

Yelp
We stopped here on our drive from DFW to Houston before checking into our hotel after 4 hours we just wanted something familiar and this was in our area. We decided on the lunch special basically a pick 3 option the wife had tortilla soup, chicken salad sandwich and slice of watermelon. I went for the turkey avocado bacon sandwich, salad and fries. For drinks we had the cucumber lime sparkling water. The service was on point and friendly casual business atmosphere we were served in timely manner the watermelon was fresh and yummy the sandwiches were plenty with our sides to get us fueled up and back on the road. The price was right at 10.95 a serving. Glad we choose this spot as we knew what to expect

Yelp
This is the perfect place to go if you're looking for the ultimate comfort food dishes. This was our first time here and we were so impressed....everything we ordered was amazingly delicious...no disappointment. If you haven't tried this place...you definitely need to add it to your list...it's a must!

Yelp
First time dining outside by the firepit. I really like the set up but is made for just having drinks. We had to switch to a table once food arrived, all food was okay but the enchilada. it was NOT an enchilada it was a chile relleno. I don't like chile relleno so I wasn't happy about it
google avatar

Andrew W.

Yelp
I went here with my girlfriend's parents as it is one of her dad's favorites places to eat! They have a very wide ranging menu with options for everyone and a dog friendly patio! We got the bacon for an appetizer which, as always is very good. I ordered the chicken pot pie and they got the fish and the chicken. The fish portion was so big he couldn't eat it all and had to take it home. The food and service is always consistently good so if you're looking for a reliable place you've found it! It won't blow your socks off but it will always deliver. I would recommend.

Yelp
Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Delicious food. My favorite spicy shrimp dish. The garlic parmeason chips were amazing.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday night for dinner with a friend and we got seated pretty quickly. We ordered the firecracker shrimp and that was the best thing ever! I then ordered the chicken Parmesan and honestly, I felt like it was lacking some flavor. Like I had to even put some red chili flakes and squeeze some of my friend's lemon slice from her dish onto mine. Lastly, we ordered the banana pudding and that was pretty good. I will have to try more dishes hopefully soon.

Ferdinand T.

Yelp
I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Ferdinand , and I can honestly say they made the entire dining experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, they were warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They anticipated every need without ever being intrusive, made thoughtful recommendations that ended up being delicious, and handled everything with a calm professionalism that stood out. What truly impressed me was their genuine kindness and ability to make everyone at the table feel welcome and cared for. You can tell they love what they do--and it shows in every detail. The experience wouldn't have been the same without them. Lady dog is lucky to have someone like Ferdinand on their team!

Yelp
I came here on a weeknight with my boyfriend for a quick and healthy dinner. We were seated right away. I ordered the seared ahi tuna salad which was super yummy! Packed with lots of veggies and the portion size was good. Service was quick. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Andrew was very helpful and nice. Food was delicious. I got the fried chicken and husband ordered the fried bison. Really big bar section. Dog friendly patio.

Yelp
When my wife and I first started coming here, she immediately loved the place but I just wasn't sold. The "hunting lodge" aesthetic was nice, but the food just didn't live up to what I was looking for. With a few visits, we came across some items that suited our fancy. My wife really liked the lunch road trip bowls, but I never found one I liked. The one area where we found some common ground was the Beer Battered Fish & Chips. The portions are huge, so you can split the dish and accompany it with an appetizer or dessert. Service is inconsistent because there always seems to be someone new serving, but they're always friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful and I've never encountered a long wait to be seated.
google avatar

Alexis Clareen H.

Yelp
We came in at around 10:30pm on a Saturday night and it was surprisingly empty. However, the first thing I noticed was how bright, spacious and clean the entire place was. Maybe cause it was empty but you can tell that it was organized. We ordered the deviled eggs, crispy rice ahi tuna, and fish and chips. Oh my goodness - the serving size is Huge!!! I was pleasantly surprised on how good the devil eggs were and that it was deep fried. Mind you, I'm not huge on deviled eggs cause they're typically made with some mustard and I am not a fan of it HOWEVER I would go back again. Usually in other restaurants, the crispy rice tuna comes in 2-3 pieces but they gave 6 large pieces so I'm pretty happy with the price of it. Lastly - HUGE fish lover here and the white fish used for the fish and chips was delicious. The batter and seasoning was just right, and it wasn't overly coated. The fries were frying (if ya catch my drift here). Our server was extremely kind and attentive. It is a bit pricier but the quality and quantity matches it. I would come back again :)

Yelp
It's a great restaurant in a good location. We were looking to grab a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated quickly on the patio as we had our dog with us. That day's weather wasn't cold, but they had space heaters and a firepit you could sit around if temperatures dropped. We ordered several items, including loaded tater tots, fried Brussels sprouts, ahi tuna, and a burger with fries. Though we had to wait 15-20 minutes before our food came out, it was all hot and fresh. The tater tots and Brussels sprouts were crispy and tasty. They had just the right amount of toppings to satisfy us without overdoing it. The ahi tuna over rice was also delicious. Perfectly seared and prepared, we couldn't have asked for a better ahi tuna steak. Last but not least, the burger patty was cooked to medium, just as I requested, and the fries were done perfectly. They had a few sauces, including soy sauce, BBQ sauce, and chili sauce, into which we could dip our food. I took off a star because the service was a bit slow. Since we were the only party sitting out on the patio, we saw our server come by about every 15-20 minutes. We needed a water bowl for our dog, but getting a hold of our server was hard. Overall, it is a solid choice for lunch or dinner! They also have a full bar with many beers, though we didn't drink alcohol on this visit.

Yelp
I've never been to a Lazy Dog! Apparently it's a chain but my coworker suggested it for a team lunch one day! Service was spot on! They even gave us free desserts on the house cause it was most of our first times! They had a huge huge menu!! So there was something for everyone! I ordered the St. Louis ribs with the fries and the ribs were cooked well.. tender and deliciously flavored. I had a refresher drink but because the bartender was busy, the server brought me a strawberry lemonade first while I waited, which was such a nice gesture! Nobody had any complaints about the food and that warm brownie with ice cream was to die for!! Interior felt like a cozy log cabin! We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back again!!

Yelp
First time trying lazy dog was at the 290 location. Glad they are putting more on the sw side. Dropped in to the Stafford location for lunch this afternoon. They have a wide menu but I chose the lunch special due to time. You get to choose 3 items: a 1/2 sandwich , soup or salad and a side I had the 5 cheese grilled cheese, sesame salad and fries All for $11 Very good deal, and good portion sizes. Will definitely be back

Yelp
I live in Houston but first tried Lazy Dog in California on a business trip. It became our regular dinner place (group of coworkers) a couple of nights a week for a few months. The menu is so diverse it was easy to please everyone. Needless to say, I was very excited to see there was a location in the greater Houston area. Now I almost always order the same dish when I go to a restaurant. However, the menu looked sooooo good I think I went 12 visits before I ordered the same dish. My favorites: Pot roast, fried chicken dinner, Korean Bimbibop, ahi salad, club sandwich, Brussels sprouts, firecracker shrimp, the cheese ball appetizer (goat maybe?), burger, and I can't remember what else. Never a bad meal! The service at the bar was great! Very friendly, courteous, and checked on me often. I witnessed some other employees assisting other customers with that Texan charm. Lazy Dog is a great place for dinner alone, friends night out, or a family meal. Think of a diverse menu like The Cheese Cake Factory (but smaller, thank God), with a comfort food feel to it.

Yelp
I really liked this place. I loved the patio and the inside, how it was rustic. The prices and food portions are huge!! They have these tv dinners priced at $10.50 frozen to go which is pretty cool. The service was a bit slow but that is pretty much everywhere these days. The nice thing is that if our server wasn't around, her colleagues would ask if we needed anything - which was helpful and kept our cups filled and food coming. I liked that they have plenty to offer and willing to adjust the menu if needed. The company's a California base restaurant. I would like to see one of these in Ohio. Mix it up a bit.

Yelp
Lazy Dog has a great happy hour! Drinks are 7 dollars and under and you can get almost every appetizer for 5 to 7 dollars during happy hour. I came with my mom and son ans ordered pretty much every food on the happy hour menu. My mom got the fish and chips which was a big plate of four pieces of fish and fries and my son got mac and cheese. The waiters were really nice and on it! The ambiance is cute it has like a little country feel. I will be back for the happy hour drinks and some of the happy hour foods...the Cauliflour and brussel sprouts were my fav! The kids mac and cheese could have looked a little better tho ..it looks like I made it at the house (but my son did eat it all)...so it was a good time!

DeHorne S.

Yelp
Like other reviewers said, this place has a bar like atmosphere bar, high top & booth seating in the bar area. Multiple TVs. Well lit, open space. Rustic wood beam ceilings, good amount of space. I got the beer sampler which came in three eight ounce beers for about $10. I suppose thats alright. Staff were mid as well. I stepped up the guy at the podium and almost immediately shared it was his first day and his trainer stepped away. Told him I was gonna hang at the bar in the mean time while he figures out how to seat our party. Eventually we get to our spot and service was great. I ordered a veggie omelete and a their gooey edamame. Honestly, it wasn't bad, but this wasn't memorable. It was a veggie omelete.... Nothing blowing my mind away, it was just OK. Their gooey edamame was just not to my liking. Flavor was fine, but the extra sauce on edamame is just not my style. Just keep it plain with maybe dry seasoning on it, but not saucy. Lazy Dog is fine, not great and it doesn't set itself apart for many modern brunch places out there.

Yelp
My family and I have been dining at Lazy Dog for years, yet this is the first time that I've left a review for them! We were in Cypress visiting family and deciding to come here for lunch. We brought our pup with us and were able to eat outside on the patio with him. They provided a bowl of water for him as well as a menu curated just for dogs! haha The patio is nice and spacious, lots of fans and it was cool despite it being quite warm. We ordered the candied bacon as well as the deviled eggs for appetizers. This was my first time having a deviled egg fried and it was good! The candied bacon was amazing of course because who doesn't love a good slice of bacon! For entrees, I ordered the fish tacos and my husband got the bibimbap bowl. The fish tacos were good however, I found the rice and beans to be just okay. The bibimbap bowl was really good though and had great flavor! We also ordered a hamburger patty bowl for our dog. We were humored when our waitress asked us how he would like the patty cooked haha he enjoyed his meal as well. Overall, we love coming to Lazy Dog to eat and will continue to be patrons here! Our service, food and drinks were all great.

Yelp
Lazydog has good food and great service. I ordered today and had a bit of a problem with my order. Trinity was my server and she corrected it very quickly. She was very friendly personable and made me feel very welcome. The food was delicious and I will be back again soon. Trinity did a great job!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! Everything from the atmosphere, to the staff, to the incredible food and many options. The appetizers are fantastic! I especially love the deviled eggs. It was my first time trying the bang bang shrimp, and I must say I think it might be a new favorite of mine. It was not too spicy, had a lot of flavor. Our waitress was extra nice, and gave us a free appetizer because my friend that I went with had never been here before. I will definitely be coming back many times over!

Yelp
Amazing!!! The food is yummy and the customer service is great! I will definitely be coming back soon.

Yelp
First time here. Had never even heard of the place. We were seated immediately. Beautiful decor. Really nice vibe. Our server, Nicole, provided the absolute best service I can ever recall. She was attentive, but not intrusive. She offered suggestions and made sure we were % satisfied. We started with a pitcher of Peach Sangria, and it was so refreshing. My wife ordered a bowl with lemon pepper chicken, yellow rice and a few different veggies. She ate every bite (except one that I snatched) and loved it. I ordered a giant meatball with pasta, marinara and cheesy garlic toast. Giant was the proper description of the meatball, but it was tender, moist and flavorful. I cleaned my plate. This place is on our favorites list when we're passing through the Stafford area from now on.

Yelp
First time at Lazy Dog and this restaurant is added to the rotation! Mitch was so helpful and very informative with the recommended food choices! The executive chef, Luis, was also very sweet and offered a secret menu item! The food in itself was so delicious and the variety will have you hooked to try it all! The ambience was very welcoming and I look forward to coming back.
google avatar

Shayla P.

Yelp
I ordered the flat iron steak (medium rare), my mom ordered the grilled chicken caesar salad, and my brother ordered the sweet potato tots! Everything was good, although my mom thought the chicken in her salad was too dry. The sauce that came with the sweet potato tots were delicious, and my steak was a perfect medium rare! This is a good family place and is kid-friendly, with lots of options on the menu for different tastes and picky eaters. The wait time was long enough to make us wonder what the hold up was, but the servers were super friendly! Would go again :)

Yelp
Yesterday, my girlfriend and I had lunch at Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar in Cypress. I was reluctant from the start because I am not a fan of chain restaurants, but she wanted to try LDR, so we did. There are many reasons why I shy away from chains, which I shall refrain from discussing as this is a review, not an editorial. The first aspect of this review relates to the menu. I appreciate that LDR provides the calorie content of its dishes, noting that most are high in calories (1000-2000). I am a health-conscious diner and limit my calorie intake when dining out. Finding many entrees under 1,000 calories was challenging, yet there were a few. I chose a chicken stir fry dish served on a bed of steamed rice. My girlfriend ordered a salad and a cup of soup. None of our dishes were spectacular by any stretch of the imagination. Mine was tasty but had a scant amount of vegetables. The salad was lackluster, and my girlfriend did not finish her soup because she said it tasted "bland." To wrap up, I can only share my personal opinion that LDR is emblematic of the new chain restaurants popping up in the suburbs around Houston. While it may not be my preferred dining spot, it could be the perfect fit for others.

Yelp
Great food! Sunday brunch. We had Chicken + biscuit. Shared Southern fried chicken: the chicken breast looked small, but was PERFECT for 2! Crust was truly southern & scrumptious! Cajun gravy was delicious w the chicken. Biscuit was yum yum with the maple syrup. Got eggs scrambled sausage: very tasty. Server: Nichole was OUTSTANDING! Ask for her! You will be very happy!

Yelp
The all American burger was amazing! Very tasty super juicy! The garlic Parmesan fries also very good! The apple pie with ice cream , just amazing. The staff super kind, very friendly and nice! It,s a great option! Recommended 100%

Yelp
Russell was our server went beyond in service ask for him. Food was 10/10 I got the cheese eggs and Avacado Toast my daughter pictured got the mountain berry pancakes which were huge with the sauce on the side. Great experience will be back. Also the outside dog area is amazing!

Yelp
The service was good, we got a free app for it being our first time. The truffle chips (free app) were delicious as well as the tomato soup.

Yelp
I came here for dinner with some of my fellow elite friends. We sat at the patio on a chilly night and watched some of the Astros game on TV. It was a really small TV in that large patio. Our server was great! He was nice and helpful when I asked about the drinks and food. I went with the chicken pot pie. I thought it was ok. I liked that the chicken was thinly sliced instead of cubed. It was seasoned well but was a little too salty and had too much thyme. The crust was my favorite part. The portion was huge. I enjoyed the coconut pineapple agua fresca. It wasn't overly sweet or tart but refreshing. The triple chocolate mousse was rich but not too sweet, especially with the whipped cream. The crunchy churro waffle flakes added a nice crunch. I tried a bite of the butter cake. It was good but too sweet for me. I find it unique that they take some of their meals and offer it as TV dinners that come with a dessert. Great concept!

Yelp
The staff was great! The food was a mess, The bacon appetizer taste like it had been in the refrigerator for 2 days. Our main course was just as bad, Never again.

Yelp
We are just in the area for a school tour and stopped in for dinner. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE! SO GOOD! Very clean Restaurant, the service was great, and the food was excellent! I asked the bartender about the area and he took the time to let me know about the areas I questioned and then some. The manager came out and introduced himself because he heard we have never been there before. This is really a nice friendly place to have dinner, or a drink, even watch a football game. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely stop back by! Lazy Dog Staff-Please keep up the good work!

Yelp
Think generally solid chain restaurant with pretty good meals. Wanted something light so went with a Thai salad for dinner, which was pretty good with the sauce. We also did some sangria which had a bit too much juice? It tasted a bit overly sweet and artificial. I did like how they have a dog menu and got my pups the steak option which came with good chunks of meat
google avatar

Sandra S.

Yelp
Surprisingly decent. I was a bit skeptical since they serve a wide variety of food options. Queso dip for the app. It was a thicker more feta and bean type of queso which was good and filling. I picked the pb&j burger with a side of umami fries. The burger was very juicy and the whole thing was a bit messy. But in a delicious, I don't mind washing my hands later type of way. The umami fries were okay in terms of flavor. It didn't really add too much and I didn't like the sauce it came with. But, I loved the texture of the fries and I don't think it needed any sauce. Nice and crunchy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. ‍ My partner got the chicken sandwich with the Cajun fries. I would skip the sandwich as I felt like the chicken was too thin and the sandwich was just average. The same can be said for the Cajun fries as with my umami fries. Doesn't need the sauce. Overall great space to watch football and eat a decent meal. Plenty of parking. Friendly service as well!

Yelp
I was disappointed with both the food and service during my visit on Wednesday, February 12, for lunch around 11:30 AM. My friend and I ordered from the Lunch Menu, choosing the build-your-own combo with sandwiches and chicken tortilla soup. When our server asked if we wanted avocado, they failed to mention that it would cost an extra $2.50 for just a quarter of an avocado. Naturally, we said yes, assuming there was no additional charge. When we received the bill and questioned the unexpected upcharge, it took three staff members--including the manager--to locate the pricing, which was listed in a different section of the menu, not under the lunch options. Despite the confusion, the manager never came to speak with us or offer an apology. The server should be required to inform customers of extra charges, especially when they are not clearly listed in the relevant menu section. While we paid the bill, did not make a scene, and still tipped the server, I will not be returning to this location. I hope management takes steps to improve transparency and customer service in the future.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant one evening for a late night snack. My friend tells me good things about it, but I'm not exactly sure why so I decided to come for myself. I chose the wings and a shrimp salad. I thought the wings were a little bit strange since you don't get to select a flavor of sauce. They are just served plain with 2 sauces on your plate, along with a dipping sauce, I chose ranch. The 2 sauces are probably the 2 most common flavors for wings in the US, bbq and Buffalo sauce. However, I thought the buffalo sauce was a little weird, so I just used the BBQ exclusively from that point on. This app was okay, but I didn't feel like I was full by any means. I just wasn't thrilled by the flavors. The shrimp salad was about what you would expect from a chain restaurant, I can't see myself ordering this again.

Yelp
Nice sports bar like atmosphere if you sit in bar area. Bar, high top & booth seating in the bar area. Multiple TVs. Well lit, open space. Rustic wood beam ceilings, good amount of space. Food was good. Had a great ahi tuna salad. Nice peppery outside coating on the tuna and came with 2 dressings (on the side for me) that were good. Also tasted the Cuban sandwich and liked the coleslaw that was mayo based with a little vinegar twang. Server took good care of us & was knowledgeable about the menu. I enjoyed the laid back, yet vibrant vibe, and eating & watching the football games. No drinks this time out. I'll have to come back and try them out.

Yelp
We are very happy to have the Lazy Dog in our dining area. The food is Superb! I had the asian salad and believe me it was a winner and will be ordered again and again. Everything was fresh, crisp and ice cold. The dressing was perfect and I ordered it on the side as I always do. My wife got the Black and Blue burger and she was in love after the first bite. Not too Blue but just the right amount of blackening. They don't skimp on the starters either, we had the brussel sprouts and they were amazing, sweet but not too much so, slight crisp but a delightful char on the edges. Overall, a delicious meal with superb service by Edwin.

Yelp
I always order the All-American Burger, cooked well done with all the toppings. What sets this burger apart from others, especially when ordering from DoorDash, is that it comes with fries. These fries are not your average, tasteless ones; they are fried to perfection, well-seasoned, and not greasy. They are truly delicious and can easily compete with the quality of fries at places like McDonald's. As for the burger itself, it's worth every penny of the $16 price tag for the burger and fries combo. The meat is perfectly cooked, and the double beef patties are substantial. The vegetables are fresh and cooked just right, adding to the overall flavor of the burger. It's such a hefty and satisfying meal that I savor each bite. Coupled with the fries, it's a meal that keeps me full for a long time, so be ready for a food coma if you have this for lunch! I've never had the chance to visit the actual restaurant, so I can't speak to the ambiance or interior. It's something I hope to do one day, but for now, I usually rely on DoorDash for my Lazy Dog fix. After all, time is quite precious, especially in this here America!

Yelp
I've tried lazy dog for brunch and dinner and overall it's good casual dining. I prefer their brunch menu to the dinner menu. Very big portions (both) but their dinner menu kind of surprised me, with options from all different types of cuisines. I opted for an ahi tuna bowl but they ran out and I got fish tacos. The meal was okay but not something I'd go back for. The service was great though, everyone was very friendly and attentive. Worth going to if you're in the area and not picky but again more of a casual dining experience reminiscent of similar chain restaurants

Yelp
Oye vay - where do I start..... went here for my son's birthday - I have been to two other locations with great results. It was around brunch time, the place was not full at all, we were seated fairly quickly. One of my favorites is the candied bacon, which I ordered immediately, along with a mango chile magarita and my son got the biscuit and gravy to start. The bacon came out a little darker than I remembered and cold - but it was still tasty. The biscuit and gravy however, was HORRIBLE. No idea what they were thinking but the gravy wasn't gravy, the biscuit was mid at best and just NO. Moving on, I got the avocado toast, my son got a burger. The toast and the burger must be run through the same equipment - and it's burning everything. I couldn't get through the toast and they remade it - lightly burnt vs very burnt. My son got through 3/4 of his burger - he didn't want to send it back, but he was not happy with it. The manager did come out and apologized, he removed the biscuit and gravy and the toast from the bill, which I appreciated. I can't say that I will be going back anytime soon, especially since Whiskey Cake is right next door and it has NEVER missed. ABSOLUTELY NOT.
