Lazy Lane Restaurant

A wonderful experience at this new restaurant. The food and drinks were all delicious and the service and ambience were great!

I flew into town to visit some friends. The food here was ok… we ordered some apps and mains to share. Ordered the meatballs, Brie and toasts, grilled chicken salad, birria pasta, and smoked pasta. Honestly the grilled chicken on the salad was dry and burnt from the grilling. It tasted like charcoal we couldn’t really taste the lemon herb seasoning. The birria meat on the pasta was really good but the pasta wasn’t al dente. It probs needed like another minute in the boil. The meatballs and brie toast was good. Really enjoy the apps. The smoked pasta was good! Would recommend it. Gave you large pieces of bacon on it. The aesthetic of the restaurant was cute. Service was great. Really appreciated our service.

Lazy Lane is a solid new addition tucked away in the Heights. The food was unique and thoughtfully prepared, and the upscale atmosphere paired well with the very minimalist design. That said, the space felt quite crowded…multiple plates barely fit on the table, which made a full sit-down dining experience feel a bit tight. The vibe feels especially well-suited for drinks and light bites rather than a longer meal, and for sit-down restaurant pricing, there’s some room for improvement. Overall, it’s a promising spot with a strong concept, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the menu evolves over the next few months.

Our server Paris went out of her way to help us celebrate our friend’s engagement. The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere was very aesthetic. Tried the baked brie, smoked pasta, snapper, and scallops. Loved all of it. Also tried the s’mores board and bread pudding. Enjoyed everything!

Hidden gwm in Garden Oaks. Don't let the outside fool you, the inside is very tastefully done. Music is great t, staff are friendly, and food is delicious. We tried the cast iron baked brie, red snapper, and s'mores. We will be back.

Excellent new restaurant in Garden Oaks! From the owners of Heights & Co., Lazy Lane is definitely going to be a popular neighborhood spot with a really impressive menu. I had the beef tartare and the Spanish meatball appetizers, followed by the pasta pescatore, and I'd recommend all of them. I'm already looking forward to going back to try their pizzas (especially the baked potato pizza) and to check out more of the wine and cocktail list. Will return soon!
